  • Prayer Post Part 7

The last several weeks I gave a post to take any prayer request you might have.  Sometimes there are people that just have prayer request that they are praying for over and over again.  I always say that if you have that prayer request, you should let others know so they can pray for you too.  So tonight I want us all to pray for one another.  We will list prayer request that are weighing us down.  You can list your prayer request and then stop and pray for all the others.  If you don’t have time to stop and pray for all the others, you can pray for the person who commented just above you.  In fact, if you pray for that person, go to that person’s site and tell them you prayed for them.  I cannot promise to return every comment.  But I will pray for every request that is left on here.  You can even leave the same prayer request again.

One of the Psalms that I love is Psalm 119:14.  It says “I rise before dawn and cry for help;  I have put my hope in your word.”

The writer recognized that he needed help from God.  He woke up early in the morning to get that help.  I think God wants us to “cry for help.”  I think He wants us to be totally dependent on Him.  He wants us to bring our problems to Him.

So if you have a prayer request, leave it here.  Pray for as many as you can.  But at least pray for the person above you.  If you have time, go tell the person above you that you prayed for them.

Do you have any prayer request?

  • A friend from college, Melissa, is in the ICU with a malignant tumor in her head (it’s 3x5x3).  She just had a baby two weeks ago.  Chemo is not an option for this type of cancer.  Radiation may help … everything is vague … her children miss her.  It’s a really hard time.

Please prayer for healing, wisdom for the doctors, and comfort and peace for her family.  Thanks!

  • I pray for all those above me.  I am not sure if I will have time to go to anyone’s site tonight.

I do not have a prayer request for myself.  When I think about it, I have everything I could ever want or need in my life.  I will once again pray for the safety of my nephew.  I pray that no matter what is going on in is life at the moment that he knows that he is loved.  I hope he knows no matter what people say to him no one will ever leave him and he will always be loved.

  • I really really wish to see both of my sons for Christmas.  My navy son is about to head out overseas and I need to see him.  I want him to be able to make it to his brothers house for christmas …that is where we all will be.  If I cannot see him before he heads out…I think I will be devastated.

  • RYC: No worries…I’m actually quite honored that you would have even considered me.  I say…leave it for the younger ones…Im just having a great time making new friends.

  • Please pray for my grandfather. He’s 80, and he just fell down the stairs of his home. He can’t walk anymore. Please also pray for all of my friends who are going back home over the holidays and also stressfully finishing up their exams. Someone was praying for me last night. I did so well on my last exams! Thank you!

  • There is a youth group in my town that desperately needs God’s help.  Maybe it’s just because I was deeply involved in the most amazing youth group ever, but I can see many people who simply will not come to know Christ as I have in that youth group by doing what they’re doing.  There needs to be a change.  Please pray that I can be that change and that I can carry out God’s will for that group of unknowingly desperate kids.

Thanks for the opportunity to share and to pray for others.

I found you from TNut’s site.

my great grandfather (he is in the hospital) and my family, my mother and stepfather and all they are going through right now,  my mother’s boss’ son (he is 15 and his kidneys are failing), our president, congress, and judicial system, the world (this place needs help), hurricane victims, pray for all the children, they are our future, all of the soldiers helping protect our country

  • All of the children who don’t have families to buy them Christmas gifts.  Kids don’t understand the concept of not having any money, but at least some of them have families.  Those who don’t will only have each other on Christmas and that makes me really sad.

We should remember and pray for thousands of our civilian brothers who lost everything including the life of their loved ones in Iraq War, our brothers in the army who are currently on the war affected areas, and Millions of family affected by natural calamities like hurricane, earthquake and t-sunami.

  • I need prayer for my family for our general well-being and healing.

    RYC:

From my perspective, ‘that struggle to find someone’ has yet to work out.

I sometimes wonder if any married couple is happier than they would be alone, but then we have to have some way of repopulating, don’t we?

    Thanks for your comment, Dan.

MY prayer would be that you take some of that big raise you got and buy http://eminemsrevenge.com and do a review of it here, because as an indy writer YOUR yea or nay could transfigure into some major sales…and i honestly think you would be surprised at the virtuosity of that novel  But like the protagonist in “The Color Purple,” i’m used to writing unaswered letters to God

We’ve started selling furniture; we are doing what we can and waiting on the Lord, but it’s getting discouraging…

    Thanks

    kim

  • I was hoping you would do one like this…I know this sounds sappy…but I found out that my baby has cerebal palsy..I’d like prayer that it’s either a misdianosis (is that even possible?) or a VERY mild case. I’d appreciate any prayers.
