Purgatory — where they spank the Hell out of you…
The reality of death can focus the mind on what’s most important. The reality of death, in a strange way, makes life meaningful. If you knew you’d live forever in this world you might never do the thing which you think you’re called to do, or should do.
I hate to think that people actually think that they know. Isn’t God the One who determines that?
Not to suggest that anyone will go to hell (or heaven), but I really don’t like for people to say, “Oh! I’m going to Heaven” or “Damn, my ass will be burning,” or “I know I’m gonna be in Heaven with God because of ___________________.” We don’t know.

Hmm. Here’s a question to ask after this one: Based on your answer as to where you are going when you die, why do you believe this? Lots of people are saying heaven. Most of them are not giving legitimate reasons why they believe as such. I think that would be the more intriguing thought. Oh, and I would go to heaven of course .

no where, I’d be dead!!!!! Okay, that’s the funny answer. I think I’d be in the Astral Plane of existance. I’d go through a life review with some guides or helpers and then, after some down time, probably start planning my next incarnation on Earth. I really don’t believe in an immediate trip to heaven or hell. One lifetime to learn what’s really important seems way too little. I think the near-death experiences reported today are just about the best evidence of what happens but who really knows? But will I continue to exist? Absolutely!!

Heaven, without any doubt. I know in whom I have believed and I am confident of my final destination…. or am I? Well, yes. I know my final destination and that I’ll go to heaven, but I don’t know that death and eternity come at the same time…. after all, the Bible says the dead in Christ shall rise first and then those who are living will be called up. If the dead in Christ are already in Heaven why do they need to be called up? It’s an interesting question, is it not?

Hmm, I have no idea. If you’re asking Heaven or Hell, I still don’t know. I’ve broken a lot of what I would call the pettier rules of Christianity, but I believe I’ve still lived a good (albeit short) life. Let’s just say that if I died, I wouldn’t go to Heaven or Hell, but to China Inn (where I work) so Gui could cook for me all day long and that is how I’d spent eternity: eating egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken fried rice, and sweet&sour shrimp. Wait, that is Heaven…

I am happy to leave that decision to the Lord – rather than anyone else I know.
If I get to decide, even if just for a minute …
There’s a place I will go.. the place of the one i love, to take one last look at him in close proximity.
U know, there’s an old Chinese folktale, about this pair of good frens. They were going separate ways but made a pact to meet up on a particular date. Closer to the meeting date, one of them were somehow delayed and knew he cldn’t make it in time. He killed himself so tat his soul cld fly to the meeting place in time.
It’s suppose to be a lesson on greatness of friendship and promises… but well.. Spooky hur?
Heaven.
Heaven!
No doubt about it, Im heaven bound and happy about it.
Depends. Did anyone stop by to find the body?
Probably the morgue.
Body in the ground. Soul and Spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ. And on and on in the lives and hearts of the people I’ve loved.
6 feet under ground, to fuckin rot. and if there was a heaven and hell (which I’m farily positive there isn’t) then I would certianly be hittin it up with ol’ Satan.
Or I’d go fuckin haunt something… like this awesome mexican resturant I reside at most saturday evenings.
I’d go to Heaven
Hehe, I like the people who answered “featured content.”
Dunno where I’d go, but I hope they have good theme music and a comfy lounge to relax.
haeven
literally – in the ground
according to some people – hell
where my soul will go, i’ll find out when i do die. then i’ll come back and answer your question for you.
Sometimes your shortest and simple question is also the deepest and profound. Heaven of course by why of Christ to the Holy Father.
“If you don’t have a Father in Heaven, spiritually your a bastard.” -Corey Red
Heaven
I would go to Heaven. I am confident in this because of my obedience to the laws of our Lord found in the Bible. I think another good question would be, why do you believe the destination you’ve named as being yours would, in fact, be yours?
I’d go haunt my husband on his ship.
Home to be with our Father.
I am hoping to go through Samsara. I would love to keep on living on forever, collecting wisdom as I grew closer and further away from Nirvana. Unfortunately, I think I am the only who posted this way. The only reason that I think this is unfortunate is not that so many of people are making me sad by their being a group and going somewhere, such as Christains said heaven, Atheists said the ground, and disenfranchised said featured content/disney world/hell, but that all of those options seem to have a sense of permanence. Of course, having that security is nice, but it seems to say that life ends at death, even with afterlife. I dont want this to end, so I am going to go to a life of a simplicity (I over-complicate everything, as you probably have just discovered) and probably will end up as an animal doing the same repetive task day in and day out… I could be a bird, or a turtle, or a person stuck in middle management for all of my next life, I just don’t know. Any way you roll the dice though, it sounds better to me then the end.
probably hell
I’m going to where you will be going. lolz
Mexico…I like burritos.
To spend eternity with Jesus Christ. I will live eternally.

If it existed.
Then again…..
Well no. I would go to hell.
But maybe someone would be nice and let me talk to my dad for a little bit before I got shipped across the river? That would be nice. I wonder what he would say.
You? Is that the physical you, which would go to the mortuary, or the intellectual you, or the spiritual/metaphysical you, or the sentient you … it’s impossible to answer that question.
If you just mean the conventional concept of the soul by “you” (too many you’s), then I don’t know. I don’t know if I have one of those souls. I don’t know that I don’t. It’s way too complex to even give it house room in the brain. Better to just concentrate on being alive.
ahh……reincarnation at last.
To say goodbye to everyone
I guess still rotting in a casket. But I believe in reincarnation, so I guess living a new life. =)
heaven. duh!
VAMPYRICARCHDEMON666…. Purgatory…a fun imaginary place…
Heaven for me
If my body died…
it would eventually go the way of its constituent pieces…
reunited with their huge family of random particles.
If my soul died… it would share the same, long journey
If my body died and my soul survived…
it would join its huge family
of souls.
Does it matter? If God has determined that you’re going to hell, well, guess what? You’re going to hell. And if God thinks you’re heaven material then you’ll be in heaven. Here’s the catch. If God has ruled that you’re going to hell even if you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, you can’t really argue with God that you’ve “stuck to the rules” can you? Good luck trying to argue/reason/debate with God. And to answer the question, its not for me to say where I’m going and I’ll stick to that.
I pray that I have loved Chirst enough to join Him in heaven when the time comes.
I’d check out the moons of jupiter.
Heaven.
I pray to God it would be heaven…but that is up to the lord to decide.
Heaven.
I believe I would be welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven.
The grave to rot until Jesus comes.
nowhere…..but if there is a heavan or hell…..as of now id be in hell
Well, from a re;igous perspective I’m going to hell for not being a part of their religon… But I would really like to come back. I love this Earth. It’s history is very nice.
Some interesting answers. Lots of people say they don’t know. Lots of people say they “hope” they will go to heaven. A couple people say nowhere.
I am trusting what Jesus did for everyone. Because of what he did, our souls can be with God.
As for my body, it will probably be put in a fancy box and buried under a shiny rock a mile and a half down the street.
Barsoom, actually.
I’m reading this late and I didn’t die last night, so the question is moot.
I would go to Heaven because I have invited Jesus into my heart to be my Savior, and that is the only way to go there. Jesus explains this many times in the Bible. That’s how I know for sure.
HEAVEN!
The cremation room.
I don’t believe in heaven or hell.

I just hope not ED hell where they tie you down, stuff you with food, and force you to gain massive amounts of weight and actually get fat. Erika
I don’t know, nor does it bother me. I have a question for you, if you don’t mind: why do you believe so many people are concerned with life after death? Are their lives not satisfactory?
Heaven!
If I got wasted tonight, I’d go to Margaritaville. I’d spend eternity searching for my lost shaker of salt.
Random props.. I’d probably go to heaven.
One things for sure.. I’d no longer go completely insane! LOL!
hell for coveting thy neighbor
thats a good question to ponder upon, if deaths fate should meet one of us tonight, where would we go. For me,as of now…purgatory. i listen to too much evil music….muahahahhaaha.
Purgatory.
Isnt the whole point of Jesus dying on the cross so that everyone can go to heaven? Didn’t he die for all our sins that had been committed, and would be committed? I always wondered why then people worried so much about hell…
Heaven…Weather any of us deserve it’s another story..
I wouldn’t go anywhere. I would be dead.
i love how everyone says heaven, and not hell. A lot of people don’t even beleive in hell…..funny how people would rather beleive in the good place than the bad place…….
heaven, to be with my jesus, of course!
i’d become a ghost, simply because the purpose of my life has not been fulfilled yet.
Doesn’t matter. I won’t know. I’ll be dead.
nowhere. there’s nothing after death.
i think the beauty is in that, we don’t known where we would go. but where-ever it is. it will be as how you imagined it.
hell -Ko
I would be on my way to Heaven, thank God. No doubts about it. Not that I am good enough, but because God allowed Jesus to pay my way. Glory!
L,r
the park in front of my house with Jesus.
No idea whatsoever.
Nowhere but to a morgue. I don’t believe in heaven or hell.
are you dying? I mean not in the regular way that everyone’s dying… are you sick?
It would be nice to wonder around the world… but if not I choose heaven
hmm… if heaven or hell were to exist, id say hell. yup yup, im headed straight to hell. but thats okay. because we’ve all sinned. but if heaven or hell doesnt exist, i dunno where id go. guess id have to see that for myself =P
heaven, bring me home Jesus.
Heaven.
My father’s house….
I’d travel the world.
That would have to be easy as a ghost.
First England, then Ireland, a bit of New Zealand…Australia.
Everywhere pretty much.
Simple Question, Simple Answer: Heaven.
It is impossible to know!
I believe in nothing, but according to the christian religion, hell.
Heaven. Not because I am good or right or even obedient, but because God is good and just and loving and way more merciful than any of us deserve.

With Jesus Christ in my heart. I will go straight to heaven. Amen to that!!!!!
Heaven where I would join Christ, at the right hand of God.
my body parts would go into other peoples body because I’m gonna donate my body to science… and if its not healthy enough, its gonna go in some classroom for people to poke and prod at it…
now my soul?? hmmmm. Somewhere happy.
If not, then I’d have to agree with John. FEATURED CONTENT!
Haha, there needs to be a username called “Xanga God” and it recruites people for featured content…. I don’t think I’m gonna do it because I’d rather not search through billions of xangas searching for someone who has a “nice site” lmao.
Really hoping heaven..
Same place as the thief on the cross went…paradise- heaven!
Purgatory
My salvageable body parts would be donated to save peoples’ lives. Then whatever’s left over will go into a hole in the ground.
The bible teaches that death is like a dreamless sleep. You are unaware of anything until Jesus comes. The body decomposes and goes into the earth again. Each soul is either resurected when Jesus comes the second time to take the faithful with him to heaven. Or, they are resurected at His third coming after the 1000 years and are destroyed forever in the lake of fire. The Bible speaks of two resurrection: one of the just and the other of the wicked. The first to eternal life, the second to eternal destruction.
Only God knows where we go when we die. I am hoping to make it to heaven. But, right now I am not sure. Yes,I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I have also been baptized and received the Holy Ghost. But,this does not mean that I will go to heaven. In order to make it to heaven I need to live a life that is pleasing to God and live in complete obedience to his word (the Bible).
To heaven away from my love Quite depressed
I would go see… a certain person.
wow, when a friend first asked me that question I said, or I thought, “Well I think I would go to a grave yard somewhere, I don’t really have one picked out yet, so I don’t really know. I wouldn’t be cremated….” Then I realized what he was really talking about lol, heaven I thought, but I wasn’t sure. I really didn’t know back then, 3 years ago, I believed God would let me into heaven, I mean, I was a good kid, I went to church when I was a younger and I would try to pray at night. . . but there was certainly doubt. My friend invited me to youth group later on, I saw that night something in them that I didn’t have, and I wanted it! I didn’t want to sacrifice my old life, my old habits, etc, for it though. It was one of the toughest choice to make, but, I tell you this day, it was the best choice I’ve ever made. So, yes, without a doubt, I believe I will meet my creator and live in heaven. Remember, it’s not about a religion, it’s about a relationship.
Matthew 7: 21″Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Wait, that is Heaven…
the band room. to haunt it.
….
id be a ghost.
to the morgue?
purgatory… maybe… i dunno
purgatory… maybe… i dunno
heaven
home
I’d like to say that i am a pretty good person…but no one ever knows….i hope heaven!! lol
Heaven
This is true.
Unless you’re not you.
((( GRANDMA HUGS )))
Lori
Into my father’s arms.
Probably hell.
Heaven…
I’m a saved believer, and that is my destiny and where I’d like to be…
or Laguna Beach (either way)
to a morgue, i imagine.
i wouldn’t go anywhere, i’d be DEAD.
(i’m having religious doubt, ok?)
–paige
Heaven i hope!!
Heaven. Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved!

Heaven.
Heaven–absolutely sure
West Virginia…(Almost heaven, they say)
Heaven
Hell. Then I wait for you to join me. Then we can again play, You ask – I will answer game
I have no dought that I will be going to Heaven.
I don’t know.
I’ll be dead.
nowhere. there’s nothing after death.
i think the beauty is in that, we don’t known where we would go. but where-ever it is. it will be as how you imagined it.
hell
-Ko
I would be on my way to Heaven, thank God. No doubts about it. Not that I am good enough, but because God allowed Jesus to pay my way. Glory!
L,r
the park in front of my house with Jesus.
No idea whatsoever.
Nowhere but to a morgue. I don’t believe in heaven or hell.
are you dying? I mean not in the regular way that everyone’s dying… are you sick?
It would be nice to wonder around the world… but if not I choose heaven
hmm…
if heaven or hell were to exist, id say hell.
yup yup, im headed straight to hell.
but thats okay.
because we’ve all sinned.
but if heaven or hell doesnt exist, i dunno where id go.
guess id have to see that for myself =P
heaven, bring me home Jesus.
Heaven. Not because I am good or right or even obedient, but because God is good and just and loving and way more merciful than any of us deserve.
heaven
hey
um no where??!!
Paradise.
heaven.. …..hopefully!
Wherever I deserve to go I guess…
Heaven, I hope :)
hell….
Ooo ooo! I know! IN THE GROUND, WITH ALL THE OTHER CORPSES!

^HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!
I never really thought about that.
In order to make it to heaven I need to live a life that is pleasing
to God and live in complete obedience to his word (the Bible).
To heaven away from my love
Quite depressed
