dunno. depends on who you’re talking to. i think they are. 1st comment!
GODDAMMIT!
TURN OFF
It really depends on the person and the location. I’ve seen both cases…
i have a tatoo
Tasteful tatoos, and not that many of them can be a turn on, but a lot of tatoos/tasteless/stupid tatoos are a turn off. At least in my opinion.
turn on.
depends on where it is… mostly a turn off
Depends on what it is. I like them.
Depends on what its a tatoo of, who its on and where they have it.
Peace,
Chaz
ON! I have one… a butterfly on my right hip.
depends on the tattoo and where
when are you going to get back to meaningful posts? (*said in a very respectful manner, of course.)
It depends.
depends, but usually a turn on. as long as they are not covered in them.
Ok, not always a turn on. When I was getting mine, there was a guy there getting a huge tattoo on his head. It was weird and a little creepy.
Turn off…I think they look trashy and gross…to each his own but no thanks for me…
(there are slight exceptions to every rule however…such is life)
Lower back tattoos on females (tramp stamps) are quite a turn on.
OFF!!!
I don’t think they’re a turn on, they only turn me OFF if their in excess. I guess certain ones could be considered sexy… hmmmm
turn off. well at least big ones are. if they’re small, they are ok.
I like them, but my husband doesn’t. He calls the one that many girls have on their lower back a “Tramp stamp”. HA! About 6 years back he wanted me to get one, now says how glad he is that I never did because everyone has the “tramp stamp” now.
its pretty bad when you just say 1st and dont follow with a comment cough shrek_azn cough.
It would really be the meaning of the tatoo ad where it is. I personally dont like the tatoos but someone that got a memorial to oerson close to them, that may be a turn on to someone. i really thinki they are just expressions..nothing else.
TOP 100..BUYA!!!
depends on how many and where.
depends on who it is and where they are. in general? no. but they can be.
depends. If they’re done well, turn on, but, most people that have tatoos have too many and none of them are tastefully done. So, it really depends on how big it is, what it is, where it is… eh, maybe it’d be easier to say what kinds are turn-ons rather than what kinds aren’t.
eww… turn off
I don’t mind small tattoos that hide in unseen areas. But big sleeve tattoos or dragons that take up an entire arm are just ugly, to put it mildly.
However, Miami Ink is one of my favorite shows…
It all depends on what they are. If it’s something tired and cliched, and they just picked random flash off the wall to be “cool”, then it’s a major turn off. If it’s something that has meaning, was custom designed and unusual, than major turn ON.
Depends on where they are, and what they are of.
I dated a diplomat once who had a tat. nerds with tats are so hot.
turn off
Depends…
If a guy has a tattoo of a faerie then that would be a turn-off, or if he has tattoos covering every inch of his body.
But if he just has one or even a few that are cool/manly then it’s a turn-on.
Also, eyebrow piercings are a huge turn-on for me too. I’m not sure why…
~Jessica~
Depends on what kind, and how big. The smaller ones don’t bother me in the least. The huge ugly ones that take up his whole arm? I’ll pass.
Depends. 1 tatoo in the ‘right’ spot is a turn on, more than 1 tatoo in the ‘wrong’ spot is a turn off. It also depends on how big the tat is. I like them smaller, or not there at all. Also, they better not be to “out there”, as in, they should probably be something like a flower.
Turn off for the most part… but if it’s something small and appropriate then I’m okay with it
depends on the size, location, and design. a small, tastefully done drawing that has meaning- sure. a huge skull smack in the middle of their forehead just because they were bored- eh, NO. x]
I don’t think tattoos are there to be cool….I think people should get them cause they TRULY mean something.
Neither really.
OFF!
off. but if they’re for a good reason, and not a juvenile one, like band of brothers, they’re good.
I meant of course band of brothers as a good reason, not a juvenile one.
TURN ON… yeah, turn on
on
big turn on!
Off
well done tattoos that have meaning are a turn on.
people who have a butterfly “cause it was pretty” are a definate turn off.
dependds.
way way off
As long as its not like full limb/body tattoos its a turn on. I want to get one soon.
I think they are a turn off if you have them covering arms and legs. It surely does not turn me on. 1 or 2 is ok, if theyre small.
Depends on what is or how it’s done, just like clothes. Are clothes a turn on or a turn off? It all depends on what kind of clothes we’re talking about. If the tattoo is of something of real value and merit, something very well done, then yeah, it’s a turn on. But if it’s of a cruedely drawn Yosemite Sam with the words “BACK OFF!” underneath, then no, it’s a turn off.
Everybodies got their own opinion, personally to me it’s a turn off cause to me it says the girl thinks she isnt pretty or beautiful enough to attract attention without extra stuff.
Depends on what it is, where, and how many.
depends how many and wht and were they are, if its on the arm , lower back or tummy its a turn on if theres more than 4 and there enywere else thats a turn off
!~nicole~!
Depends on the the tatoo, sentimental ones are cute(not huge or big, on the small side is okay), but those ones that ppl put all over ther body are major turn offs!
It can be both
Usually a turn-on, unless it’s excessive, bikerish or in bad taste.
It depends on the person and the tattoo.
turn off
ON!!!! Woooo!!! ON ON!!!
definitly turn on. tattoos & piercings
Totally depends on the tattoo.
obviously it’s a personal preference…i think they are a turn on, in general if there are too many or they are offensive/grotesque in my opinion or in an awkward ugly place than no…but i definately think less on a woman…i’m not gay but a woman with one nicely placed small tatoo is cute i think…but much more and it’s not. whereas i think men can look hot with more and bigger tatoo’s…same goes for peircings…it’s all personal preference…and it depends how good the person wearing it looks with it and carries it…
turn off
Depends. If it’s a tatoo in an area like the arm (saying it’s a girl because I’m a guy), a turn off, if it’s on the hip, most definately hot, and a turn on.
Depends on what the tattoo is….and where it is.
Candy
Off
i don’t think tattoos themselves are turn ons or offs, cuz that’s a bit superficial and too quick of a way to judge people… but i think tattoos can say something about the person… like if a tattoo as real meaning behind it, then it might show that person is genuine or deep… and qualities like that can be a turn on or turn off
Turn off big time!!! Dangerous in my opinion. A decision that lasts a lifetime – I can’t imagine being an older lady (already old), wrinkley – pruney and a big old tatoo. How gross. Whatever you put on your body forever declares something and our emotions and very souls change. That proclamation may very well be an ongoing curse.
off.
It would depend on the person it was on, what it was, and where it was.
Definately not a turn on. Depending on what and where to determine whether it’s a turn off.
Well, like most things, it depends on how you wear them. I mean, I’d think that boxers were a turn on. But if you cut them up and sew them into a nice baseball cap, I would probably think it was awesome, but not a turn on. At least not in the same way. I would find it funny, and I like funny guys… okay, bad example… never mind, I’ll quit talking.
Depends on the tattoo. I love tattoos that have meanings and reasons behind them. I’m not a fan of getting a tattoo just to be getting a tattoo.
Dan the Theologian is a turn on. How about THAT for an answer!
some are quite sexy, other plain trashy, it really depends on the nature and location of the tatoo.
depends on what and where. big picture of your mom on your butt? turn off. snakes crawling up your nose? turn off. small, discreet, and meaningful? hmm… sexy.
Turn off.
turn on as long as they are small and strategically placed =)
well… tatoos are a part of the person who got them… they obviously like their tatoos if not… they wouldn’t have goten them…also, a person who likes the person who got the tatoo.. should like them just the way they are… so it is really a relative question you rase. What do I think… do I like ‘em? … sure. They don’t bother me if they are tatoos of nice things… lol.
depends on who and what and where
it’s not the tattoo, it’s the person, dude.
Depends on how much they have- but generally a turn off.
Only if it’s a tattoo of George Wendt.
No exceptions.
In Isaiah 49 God tells us that He engraves us on the palm of his hand. this may not mean much to us today, but in the Jewish culture, mothers of lost children would tatoo their hands in a symbolic responce to their missing children. and God likewise tells us that he does the same becuase he wants us to be near him forever, to be a part of him. but in a larger note, why would God be against tatoos, and why would God care? but asking the question if tatoos are ok is irrelevant because our salvation doesnt depend on it, and if it doesnt change or alter our stance before God, then why care. its not that the question is good or bad, but its not the right question.
Turn off.
turn off
it depends on what you’re looking for in that person- serious or just for fun?
Ehhh….if it’s something little in a not-really-obvious place, I guess I wouldn’t mind.
For me it’s more of a turn on…
THAT of course depends on the tattoo, on the person, the size, on where the tattoo is situated and whether colour is used or not.
i have two and I love them, one is on my arm and the other on my wrist. I don’t so much like them on girls.
turn on, on a guy
turn off on a woman if there is more then one…(not that i am turned on by women lol, just that i don’t like it, don’t think it looks right…)
off
it depends
usually a turn on
=]
both… depends on the location
On.
depends….in most cases a turn on….
i dont like it when it’s all over an arm or chest or back or any area that is covered completely. But if it’s small, unique, and has a meaningful story to it that could be awesome.
Off
I think they are a turn off.
i think they are ok but…turn off probably more than turn on…depending on what and where.
Ick…turn off. God made us with beautiful, gorgeous skin, why mess with that?
Generally a huge turnoff for me… I haven’t ever met a guy that is “my type” that has tatoos…
It depends on how many, where they are, and how big they are. Ever seen suicidegirls.com?
It depends on what there of and where on the body they are. I’ve seen girls w/ tats on their neck and arms, looks kinda manly to me, but hey, if they like it…
Neutral at best, mostly turn off though. It’d be interesting to be able to have an official ‘counter’ to see what the turn out of your polls are.
I think it depends on the tattoo and where it is at………I am a arm person so I really don’t like them on the arm…………
Just wanted to let ya know we finally have our computer back……..YEAH!!!!!
On at first but OFF later….
On!
I especially like them when done in black. I don’t care much for colored tat’s, but, I have seen some nice ones though.
I kind of think they are a turn-off. I like those stick on ones that come off after a wash. They are easier to maintain and don’t stand out very long.
Turn off
Depends on the artwork and location.
(I have 2)
Depends to the extent. Full-body = turn off. Select few artistically done = turn on.
A tatoo wont make an ugly person pretty or a pretty person ugly. A pretty person with a tatoo is a turn-on
Generally they are a turnoff for me. I will tolerate a few types of small size in only select places. However, if you are not an interest of mine, I could care less how many, how big, or where they are.
i like those kid tattoos that you put on and rub with water, but real ones depends how many and where
Why in the world do people cair if they get firsto comment. I think they are a major turn off. They dement your skin. It makes me sick.
mostly not a turn-on, unless they’re well thought-out and well-planned and well-conceived and really say something that the person intends. like, my best friend plans on getting a tattoo that says “love is not forgotten”. i would date someone with a tattoo like that, but not a chinese/japanese symbol/tiger/what have you. colored ink is also a no-no.
depends on who and where. im getting tats on my back someday
it very much depends on what it is. but if it’s something cool, then yea it’s a turn on. it’s all opinion.
Depends on what/who/where. So many people have one that it isn’t that big of a deal. It lost its appeal and “rebellion.”
Slight turn off
Tattoos are cool if they actually mean something. When people get tattoos just for the sake of getting tattoos, that’s a turn-off and also something that they will probably regret later.
Turn off.
depends on how good they look.
actually, at the risk of sounding like an old fart, how “tasteful” they are.
and what they mean. like, if someone got a tatoo of the Om sign, taht would be awesome. so would japanese characters.
yeah, im weird.
seeing as i have a few myself, i could care less if anyone had them. as long as they aren’t overly perverted/racist, i’m fine with them.
way off
Off
depends where and what it is.
turn on… if it’s not too many and tasteful
turn off
It depends on how many, and what kind…
oh and don’t forget where they are!
eh, depends…
yeah, i know…but i’m a sore loser.
It depends on how liberally they’re applied.
On.
-Dana
Turn off.
It’d be nice to have a deeper question.
Depends on what it is and where it is.
For me, they are a turn off.
It all depends on where
if the person is already attractive then a turnon. if not then…haha
As long as they have some meaning behind them.
Definitely off.
That is based on the ratio of unadultured skin to ink.
Depending on what size, location, and the relevance of the tatoo, it is a total turn on…
Depends on what they are about
It depends… what the design looks like and where they put it.. :D:D
Hey! I just got a tattoo! Personally I think they’re kinda sexy. They become a turnoff for me when people keep getting them and have them all over their bodies.
depends, DON’T like them on guys, but if a girl has a small one someone (appropriate), then it looks fine. BUT, they are against my religious beliefes cause the Bible says not to get one in Leviticus somewhere.
<3 Sherry
Well since my post today is pic’s of all of mine I have to say a turn ON
depends on what it looks like. Naked women with your name across them, turn off. Generally, they’re very cool
I think when you have your body covered with them they’re gross. I’ve seen small tattoos that look pretty neat even on women. It also depends on how big and where they are.
It depends on the tattoo, the location of the tattoo, and the age of the…. tattooee? Like an elderly person…. yeah, for them it would definitely be a no.
Yes. Bad boy’s are cute!
I have a doctor friend who talks about old people with tattoos. Think of some 80 year old grandma with a tattoo on her hip! I suppose that’s why I never got a tattoo.
They all eventually look like ugly bruises whe you get older. So why go through the pain. I went through a phase where I really wanted a tatoo and not something kinda lame. My husband is a chiroprator and I thought it would be coool to get the the spinal colum in my neck tatooed showing the nerves, ligaments etc with a zipper at the bottom looking like my skin was zipped back. But then realised as I was in my 30′s It probably would look kind odd and scare my kids! lol
I am not turned on by the visual.
TURN ON!!!!!!
for me it’s a turn-off but i guess it also depends if the tatoo has a special meaning to it. some tatoos actually look nice.
I think the word “Depends” is the most used word on your entire site.
wow, one of the biggest turn offs! I dont know why your asking, but if your thinking about getting one, stop and think.
Meh. I think it’s tasteful, I could be okay with it. But I don’t see it being a huge turn on either, you know?
I don’t like tattoos much. But a small one somewhere not constantly visible isn’t too bad.
turn on if it’s a really nice sleeve *up the arm*, but for the most part, they are good if they are small and well kept and most of the time hidden. neck tattoos are stupid.
It all depends where, what, and why.
It depends on where, how many, and what it is.
But personally, I find them a turn on.
-|-
+=[(999=666)]=+
+=[(666=999)]=+
-|-
Depends on what and where, if they’re covered its a turn off, if its something small its ok.
Depends on what the tattoo is of, and where it’s located.
Majority wise, it’s a turn-off. But there are some where it isn’t.
complete turn off…..it makes your body look like you haven’t bathed in a few days.
I think they’re frickin’ nasty man.
offfffffffff
It depends on how many and how obtrusive they are. Of course I prefer a ‘clean cut’ look and I am not a fan of this whole shaggy hairstyle and baggy clothes look. Most people I know are getting older and they are looking to get rid of or hide their tattoos.
Tattoo’s on others it’s hard to say if I find them a turn on or turn off. It depends on the art, how well the pieces were done and if they are fad pieces or something that has meaning. I am definitely addicted to tattoo’s and have 8 pieces with at least 2 more to be done this year. My ink can be seen on my site in the photo blog that is linked at the top of the page. I really need to have my husband redo most of the pictures because they were done when the ink was just freshly slung so look red and sore and in most cases way too small to actually make out the detail. Especially my back piece which covers about half of my upper back. My son is designing one of the pieces I will get done this year and he will get the arm band he’s designed for himself done while he is visiting later this year. We will go do a mom/son tattoo fest. Then will come the mom/daughter tattoo fest some year. As well a friends tattoo fest and a sisters tattoo fest. Once I get all the individual pieces done I’ll have to figure out what to do to kinda tie them all together.
always a turnoff on a girl; on a guy it can look either good or bad (nothing about a guy would ever ‘turn me on’) but more often bad
turn off
Depends on the tattoo.
Depends on the quantity (and quality), where they are, what they are. It’s never just a simple as tattoo vs no tattoo.
For example: tattoo that actually has meaning (kyudos if he designed it himself) and isn’t obnoxious-looking is fine. But random tribal arm bands on macho dudes, not so much.
For me, a pointless turn-off; do you really want a tattoo of your name with random squiggles near your tush? Or your arm? Your thighs? On your crotch? I think not!
It depends on the tattoo.
depends… one or two great tattoos are a turn-on for me. but a sleeve or body covering… nah no thanks.
Depends on what it is, but for me it’s a turn on. But chicks need to stop getting their lower back tattooed. That just screams slut.
Off, most of the time.
Off. No matter how many or little. I hate tattoos.
ahhhhhhhh turn on!!!!
Turn off. They can be ok, but they aren’t ever a turn on for me.
Eh….I can definitely do without them.
mostly on. it depends. meaningful tattoos are. pointless stupid naked women on your forearm are an extreme turnoff, and it all depends on who has them i guess.
[ariana]
They don’t so much impress me.
Yes!
OFF
turn off. I mean, unless they’re brand new and really good looking. I wouldn’t date anyone with a tattoo because in 20 or so years it’s be yellow and gross.
*it’d
I think they are ugly.
turn off, for the most part
a few tattoos that’ arent’ too big and in the right places are allright but overall they’re a turnoff.
I personally think they are a turn off. However I would not judge people by their body, or the marks on them. I just would not encourage getting them because you have to live with them forever. I would rather see the pure skin God gave a person than ink made to cover it forever!
I don’t care for tattoos covering a body part or most of the skin, but a small tattoo in an inconspicuous place. I like that.
Christy
depends on the tattoo, place, person
if the person has too many revealing ones, turn off. like all the way down the arms, on the neck, fingers….bleh. ones on the back are super sexy. but to me, its a turn off ifs it the entire back. oh, and i absolutely hate tats on girls boobs!!! yuck
Depends on the tat… a small one can be sexy but anything too big, gothic or detailed is just, um… no.
~Love Em~
Turn-on, as long as his whole body isn’t covered.
It kind of depends on where the tatoos are. I think if it is on the arm, they’re kind of skanky. But some places are hot, depending on the tatoo.
off.
My husband has a couple so I suppose I would say…………ON!
Tattoos on BAD BOYS turn me ON. As you can see…obviously I LOVE A GUY WITH TATTOOS. That’s what I noticed about him when I first saw him. Those tattoos did more than just making him cute…but it help him get a girl like me. LOL. I LOVE GUYS WITH TATTOOS. If no one have noticed by now…it’s a major turn on.
WAYY on!!
off
Off.
To me, it depends on how many, where, and what.
Too many of them, a turn off. A few appropriate and in the appropriate places a turn on. Also if they did it with good intentions in their hearts. Meaning if they did it just so they can show off or draw attention, then it is a turn off. They have other issues.
My best friend hates any woman with a tattoo. He thinks its disgusting.
I have 3 tattoos…one on my lower back and one on my left wrist…and one on my right. The guy I like has one on his back…he’s my best friend, and we got ours *the one on my back and his* together…it was pretty cool. They are a turn on for me…if the guy isn’t covered in them or anything.
i love them. i think they are sexy….
now, some tattoos themselves (like vulgar, meaningless, nudity, and things like that) i don’t like. those are turn offs.
Depends on what the tat is of. I don’t like demons devils…but there are some nices ones out there…like mine!
Depends on what the tattoo is and where it’s located. Cuz it can be a cool tattoo but if it’s in a bad location, then it’s just dumb. It’s all about type and location.
turn off for the most part.
Turn on to a point…if they are tasteful, bits of body art used to accentuate the human form then BIG TURN ON. But then again it’s also about attitude for me…not what’s on the outside of the body.
Yep, depends what and where, and how many. My husband has 3 and I like them all, especially the Celtic band he has around his big, bulging bicep. Very sexy. I have a butterfly on my right ankle and most of the time I like it, but I have to wonder what people are thinking when they see it. If someone is covered in them, then no, that’s just gross.
for me, it is according to what it is, where it is and how many
Kinda depends on location.
They are a lot sexier in New York than in Texas.
They are pretty asthetic south of the border (know what I mean?) as well.
L,r
turn on. but i like them small.
it depends on what it is and where it is at. i have none. I did get a cool henna tattoo on my foot….but it will be gone as soon as I am tired of it
A turnoff.
Always a turn off. Even if you think they look good now, have you ever seen a tattooed old man? Imagine a tramp stamp on a 70 year old woman, not a pretty picture.
BIG TURN ON… but now in weird places like on their face or something like that.
It depends, who has it and the location of the tattoo(s). I’m planning to get one, I just have to finish the design..
I’m not sure , but hepatitis is definitely a turn off.
tattoos used to be a turn off for me but since my bf got one, i consider it a turn on now…but then again, he only has one. i love that show miami ink. i dont know if i’ll ever get one for myself but im not totally against it. if u find something that means a lot to u and u want that on your body then i think its great.
they can be a big turn on. hell i’ve got three. they are awesome. my gf has 4 and she looks so ho
FROM THE STANDPOINT OF AN ASPIRING TATTOO ARTIST, YES DEF. I LOVE WOMEN WITH TATTOOS. FULL SLEEVES, BACK PIECES WHATEVER. ITS A TURN ON TO SEE A WOMAN INTO THE SAME THING AS I AND IT SHOWS DEDICATION AND WILLINGNESS TO EXPRESS HERSELF.
I think it depends on what you have and where. If you have a tattoo of your name three times on your body its a turn off and really stupid.I personally dont like tattoos, but Bam’s(Viva La Bam) tattoo is a turn on.It depends.
99% of the time, turn off. there are some people who just look good with them.
HEY
off
Lol-are you asking about in general? I n general, I don’t know…..but for me, (unless it’s obscene or in a disgusting place….lol)it’s a turn on.
turn OFF. like i would feel weird just being friends with someone who has a tatoo.
Some of them are a turn others a turn off!!!!!Guess it just depends!!!!!! I just got my first tatoo and it say my daughters first and middle name and her birth date.. tho now I am addicted and want a few more!!!!
My tatooes turn me off.
Depends.. minimal is key to hotness for me.
TURN OFF
Wow. I have never visited an xanga with so many comments and propz! o_O Very cool.
*coughs* Okay, onto the question at hand:
Tatoos are a turn on depending on the design and location of the tatoo and the body on which they are printed.
I personaly have one on my back and am in the market for another when the mood strikes me.
turn off for me
Turn on. Shows you can handle pain while decorating what’s really yours. …. Unless of course, the tattoos suck, but even then, the person had some balls to get it, yes?
depends on the tatoo, what color, what size, what image, and where it is located… too many tats, tats that are poorly done or where the color is faded, or of skulls or violence are a turn off … some are a turn on….
Propz, everyone prop me back since this is a top 100 page, make mines top also!
turn off
i think its a turn on…
i have them myself.
Turn off. Think long term for a second. Mmmm wrinkly tattoos. Yummy. Not!
On, if they have some sort of underlying meaning behind them. But tatoos just for the sake of having them are stupid.
good ones are a turn on.
depends on where it is and what it is i jusst might h8 it i just might love it
~bethany~
depends where at
I’ve seen both. Some a turn on, but most a definite turn off!
Meh… I don’t like them much. But some are better than others.
off, definately a turn off for me…
One or two well-placed can be a turn-on. Immersing your body in big colorful tatoos? Definitely a BIG turn-off.
Tattoos can be cute when it’s meaningful & small. When it’s practically portrait size it becomes something else and the person becomes a walking billboard.
I like tattoos on fully clothed people. On nude people, they look kinda silly.
But it depends on the tattoo, I guess.
Turn off. Bodies are not billboards.
depends on the age of the person, the place, number, and the type/meaning of the tattoo. Personally, I find one or two small tattoos on a guy’s forearm, upperarm, or shoulder blade very cool, if not totally attractive, and I’ve had many guy friends tell me that tattoos on girls, like on the ankle, shoulder blade, or the lower back ones (not my fav) are very attractive.
If it’s body art, it’s a definite turn on.
If it’s just tattoos, it doesn’t make a difference to me.
Depends on where they are…And how many….If they have like a ton all over there body yeah thats kinda weird. But if they have a couple its really cool.
I like <a href="Ed hardy, because the<a href="Cheap Ed hardy is too beautiful, If you need these <a href="Ed hardy T, Carefully choose these <a href="ed hardy shoes, then appropriate action, go <a href="cheap ed hardy shirts

ON! I have one…
a butterfly on my right hip.

when are you going to get back to meaningful posts? (*said in a very respectful manner, of course.)
It depends.
depends, but usually a turn on. as long as they are not covered in them.
Ok, not always a turn on. When I was getting mine, there was a guy there getting a huge tattoo on his head. It was weird and a little creepy.

Turn off for the most part… but if it’s something small and appropriate then I’m okay with it
i like em.
Fight Mental illness Stigma
depends on the size, location, and design. a small, tastefully done drawing that has meaning- sure. a huge skull smack in the middle of their forehead just because they were bored- eh, NO.
It all depends on where
if the person is already
attractive then a turnon.
if not then…haha
