i think he has the potential to go big. It’s not all about the voice. yeah, he is a good singer, but it’s also about charisma and how to charm an audience. And from the looks of it, he has captured he audience, even when almost everyone is all out for Katherine when he performed.

He’s a good singer, he’s got a good personality, great stage presence, but the type of music he sings just isn’t very big right now. Chris Daughtry and Elliot Yamin should have been the final two. But since they weren’t, I’m glad Taylor won, and beat Katharine. But I do think this was his biggest moment.

hmm…he probably will have some good moments…but the thing is that every single person that has won american idol will just never be as big as kelly so no…he this was probably his best.

He’s a good singer, he’s got a good personality, great stage presence, but the type of music he sings just isn’t very big right now. Chris Daughtry and Elliot Yamin should have been the final two. But since they weren’t, I’m glad Taylor won, and beat Katharine. But I do think this was his biggest moment.
I don’t like him. Why did he win? He looks like a bad imitation of George Clooney.
I’m wondering if the people who say he’s always out of tune assume they have perfect pitch or something. My mother does. He’s not out of tune.

Seems like only Kelly Clarkson has done much as an Idol winner, I don’t think Taylor will do much else.
i think that he had his big moment he might have one or 2 big songs but he isn’t that talented so i think that he will probley be a one hit wonder if that much

Well, I think Taylor has an awesome voice and he is really unique. I hope that this wasn’t his biggest moment, but it probably was. If he becomes bigger though, more power to him!

I would hate to think that winning is the biggest thing that will ever happen to Taylor. He is very talented and seems to be a very persanable young man. I just hope the music industry doesn’t chew him up and spit him out.
biggest moment. I can’t see too many Top 10 records coming out of that guy. Great personality, and I can see him doing something non-music related. maybe like hosting or something, but in terms of being a Pop idol. that i have hard time with. although Canadian idol is starting up soon. that should be interesting.

I watched American Idol a few times and that was because I didn’t feel like popping in a DVD or tape…so…I just LISTENED to it…
Anyway, I think he just had his moment of fame. I don’t see the big deal in him anyway.
ok, everyone’s saying biggest moment. and i agree, but at the same time i’m mad because everyone wanted him to win, but yet they don’t think he’ll succeed? kind of odd. i still think katerine could of been/will be a bigger star. she completely swept him away vocally last night especially when all 6 girls sang. and last time i checked that’s the most important thing. besides if i want to hear michael mcdonald i’ll listen to a cd, i don’t need to hear sound-alike taylor hicks.

You never know. It just depends on whether or not he goes mainstream like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood – but I don’t really see that happening.

Biggest moment. Sure. The guy has got some soul and talent, and seems like a decent fellow… But the only idol that has had any real success is Kelly Clarkson, and just recently that country girl from last year… oh damn… I never can remember her name…. Well anyway, she jsut won some CMAs…. As I was saying… Where is Ruben Studdard or Fantasia Barino? They have faded into oblivion. You can’t find a Kelly Clarkson every year I guess. At first, I couldn’t stand Kelly. But Her Breakaway CD is very good.

I dont really think that taylor should of won like either chris or pickler anyone i never even imagined him winning. he got into american idol with a fake Id. The oldest you can be is 26 and hes 29.
I’m leaning towards big moment, but he’s got a unique style.
Biggest moment . . . even though he can sometimes sing (granted he’s on tune), he’s not really a great performer . . . ok, I take that back–he’s NOT a performer AT ALL. The man dances and sings like he’s freakin constipated. I think if he does become a big star, it will be because people like laughing at him, not because they really find him a true talent. Katherine was the better singer, but, personally, I was rooting for Elliott and Chris all along–they were by far the best vocals and performers all in all . . . and America gave them the boot. *shakes head*
