Swimsuit
This holiday not only brings us to the point of remembering those who made a great sacrifice on our behalf, it also brings us to a time when some of us are taking our first trip to the area pool.
I packed the family into the car and we went for a swim. We arrived at the pool and it was time to take my shirt off at the pool. I have put on a few pounds over the winter. But it really doesn’t matter because I didn’t see anyone I know. Then all of a sudden our former neighbors walk by and begin a conversation. We talk and settle in to the same location to begin the swim.
So I was placed in the position of removing my shirt in front of them. It isn’t that I am shy but I wasn’t feeling swimsuit ready. I finally got up the courage and removed my shirt and stood topless in front of them.

Well, I am 6’3 and 300 lbs. I am by far not a sight for sore eyes, haha. But, I’ve never cared. I just got back from a vacation at the ocean, so yes I’m swimsuit ready. =p

not quite but i swim anyways, i mean i live in texas, so you either swim or die from heat exhaustion. plus it’s not cool to be white as a sheet.
Considering I am supposed to have a baby any day now I would say no I am not ready. It will be a few weeks before I will venture out to a pool. Nine months pregnant + swimwear = staying inside

Brother, I hate water. I’m never out’ve a suit. The only thing I would enjoy about the season is the eye-candy, because for some reason the big-titted babes flock to me (not that I’m complaining) but as of late I’ve become the solitary reckless type.
So I’m going to go sit outside in a three piece dark gray pinstripe suit and watch the universe revolve over my head in all it’s fucked-up configurations, rather than get hauled somewhere to talk to people at a pool.

i’m pretty pale; but i don’t care! i love to swim. and by the end of the summer, i’ll be dark as anyone else!
I will never be “swimsuit ready”.
I am ready for the swimsuit, but I am unsure if it’s ready for me. We shall see. I think it I hear it singing “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” from my dresser drawer.

It was absolutly GORGEOUS here this weekend, and we were at Fire Island all weekend long (the ocean) but I couldn’t wear a bathing suit comfortably because Aunt Flo came to the beach house. The meanie. Otherwise, I feel *swimsuit ready* normally.

Nope, but went in the pool anyway yesterday. The pool in the backyard has a six foot privacy fence around it so noone can see the fat lady in the bright green swimsuit floundering around in the water.

But I’ll go swimming anyway, because I love the water, and it doesn’t matter to me if it’s a pool, lake, or ocean. (Although the Pacific Ocean is my favorite.) And yes, I have one of those old-lady swimsuits with the skirt.

Yes Dan, I’m swimsuit ready. I don’t go swimming too often because I found my beautiful old dog dead at the bottom of my parents pool years ago. It spoiled swimming for me. I still go sometimes.

I agree with Soultender I am ready even if no one else ready to see me. I Don’t really care anymore! I gave birth to 4 kids and look pretty darn good. I earned every one of my stretch marks and loose skin..lol And now that I have grossed all out ahh it sucks to be you! The only perfect bodies out there come at a great cost one way or another! Personally I like to enjoy food and I love to exercise but I ain’t givin up Tirimisu!~ Why is it most men can look into a mirror and see a Calvin Klein underwear model looking back and most females look into the mirror no matter how good they look and focus on their flaws? hmm food for thought! Just read the comments you all posted! LOL I say wear a swimsuit and feel good about yourself.

I’m pretty happy with my body, so yes. The only thing is I can at times be very plae which bugs me, but I’m starting to be very sun-conscious so the only tan I’ll be sporting is a fake one from a bottle. Gotta learn to be proud of the paleness! lol
Oh yeah, it’s always weird getting together in bathing suits with people you’ve only known fully clothed. It doesn’t matter how fabulous your body is, it’s still weird, IMO. I do feel swimsuit ready, however. My job keeps me running around so much, that I’m in pretty good shape.

NOOO! i havent been swimsuit ready since i was 9 and didnt care. im white and fat like a red-headed beluga whale. 3 of my good friends and i are gunna start workin out at the gym and the other white one and i will go tanning. the other two are 1/4 japanese and 1/4 mexican so they dont count.

I give it a 10, but I just left the theater confused for some reason. I guess because I never felt they expressed the secret that was trying to be kept. They implied who was involved and the clues, but never the actual secret.
Other than that, I didn’t find it boring, like many people have told me. I did think it was quite lengthy however.

Swimsuits…*shudders* What a horrible thought! Definitely not ready- got way too much gut and I’m still all pale, like one of those cave-dwelling fish. But I’m working outside all summer, so I’m hoping that these problems will soon be remedied…All I gotta do then is find some time off to hit the beach!

i go no matter if i’m ready or not. there’s a pool at the apartment and i go all the time. i just went today, actually. it doesn’t matter what you look like there because everybody except for me and my friends has been drinking. plus, they’ve been drinking, so they all have a beer belly.

i will go to the beach and i will wear a swim suit but i will be uncomfortable and unhappy the entire time… until i am in the water, then i am having too good a time to notice… but it will all feel icky again once it’s time to come out of the water…

I just posted my Memorial Day pool experience. I think mine was worse than yours – just remember, there is always someone who looks worse than you and….always put your towel next to the worst looking person at the pool. Then you always look fabulous.
