  • George W. Bush Part 3

I was watching the President talking to an audience on TV recently.  I have always assumed that Bush was pretending to be a little more simple to connect to the average American.

Is President Bush a simple man talking to brilliant people or is he a brilliant man speaking to simple people?

  • 1,000,000 site visits

I just had my 1,000,000th site visit.  It was SugarBlue2.  I believe I put on the tracker on October 17, 2005.  I have never really celebrated any milestones on my site but I was pretty happy about the one million mark.

  • Free Spirited

I asked John from wutuwaitn4 if he would write a guest post.  So he wanted to share the following:

Everyday, on your way to work, you see a young man with a walkman dancing and singing wildly on the busy intersection.  You can’t help but stare and notice other people doing so too.

Is the young man crazy or “free spirited”?

Most people would assume that he’s crazy or have some sort of mental disorder without thinking twice.  What normal young guy would display that type of abnormal behavior in public, must less in a busy intersection, right?  I fell into the same stereotypical trap.  But seeing him again today got me thinking.  What if he was a normal guy who just loves to rock out to his music?  I certainly do that in the privacy of my home, when no one’s watching.  Who said you can’t do that in public, if you’re comfortable with it?  Who am I to judge?  Hell, maybe I should join him.  Screw what society thinks is acceptable behavior.  Screw everything you’ve known and just rock out to the tune of your own music.

*gasp”  I asked a question before the end of the entry.  Please don’t have a heart attack or act all flabbergastered like an ant who lost his place in line because a leaf fell in front of him.

  • Christian

I had someone ask me a question and so I asked him if I could just post his whole comment on my site.  His site is sickboy86.  Here is his statement and question:

I’M NOT A CHRISTIAN, NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF THE DEFINITION. I’VE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF CHRISTIANS VISITING MY SITE THOUGH AND TRYING TO ARGUE CHRIST INTO MY LIFE. I TELL THEM I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THE CHURCH, I DISLIKE PRIESTS AND DON’T REALLY AGREE WITH THE WHOLE CONCEPT, I DON’T MEAN TO OFFEND YOU OR ANYONE ELSE, ITS JUST WHAT I BELIEVE.

WHAT I FIND STRANGE IS THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME MESSAGE, CHRISTIANITY ISN’T A CHURCH OR PRIEST, SOME GO AS FAR AS TO SAY THAT ITS NOT EVEN THE BIBLE, ITS JESUS. SO I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD PUT UP A POST ASKING WHAT PEOPLE DEFINE AS A CHRISTIAN, IS IT SOMEONE WHO GOES TO CHURCH, OR LISTENS TO A PRIEST, PRACTICES THE BIBLE, READS THE BIBLE OR IS IT BELIEVING IN JESUS, OR EVEN JUST BEING A GOOD PERSON ENOUGH? I’M SORT OF LOST HERE, THOUGHT MAYBE THIS MIGHT CLARIFY THINGS FOR ME, IF NOT NO BIG DEAL, BUT IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

What does it mean to be a Christian?

  • Linking

I want your opinion on an issue.  I have been thinking about how I handle linking.  I sometimes will read someone’s comment to my previous post and I will quote them in my next post.  The problem is that a person is generally supposed to link a person that they are quoting.

I have had a few people that have shut down or go totally protected because of stalkers they have received from my site.  So I am always concerned about linking sites where they get less than five comments an entry.

I was told by a friend that he had some freaky people come over from my site when I linked him.  The problem is it takes too much time to get each person’s permission too.

Should I just link the sites or should I not mention their site name and let people go back and check if they want?

  • Boobs

My wife has poison ivy and it has spread through her body.  She told me it was getting better.  I asked her if it was still all over her chest.  She said it was clearing up and let me look down her shirt.  I, of course, looked at her boobs instead.

We have been married now for almost 14 years and yet it never gets old looking at her boobs.  I have seen them thousands of times and yet I sneak a peak whenever I can.  We have three children that my wife breast feed so my wife has working boobs.  They are the practical kind.

The nice thing about pregnancy and breastfeeding is that the wife gets an increase in the size of her boobs without the money you put into implants.  Of course, you have a child for the next 18 years but it is well worth the nine month pregnancy boobs along with the 6 months of breastfeeding boobs.

Men have chest but nobody really wants to see them.  There is no attraction to a man’s chest.  If a man has larger boobs, it is something that is mocked.  There is nothing special about them.  But more attention is paid to a woman’s boobs than probably any other feature.  Nothing has caused more happiness for American men.

But I wonder why boobs are so special.  I know they are just fat tissue.

Why is so much attention given to boobs?

  • IQ and Happiness

I was talking to a young lady at the mall today who had an IQ of about 80 to 90.  I noticed that every time I see her she is laughing or smiling.  I noticed that with a lot of people with low IQ’s.

Are people with low IQ’s happier?

  • Piercing Part 2

I was walking through the mall this morning with my wife and daughter.  I noticed a young lady with a piercing in her eyebrow.  I would think that such a piercing would hurt.

So imagine for a moment that you had to get a piercing in one of the following three areas.  You have to pick one:

    # 1 Piercing your eyebrow.

    # 2 Piercing your belly button.

    # 3 Piercing your tongue.

Which one would you pick to have pierced?

  • Speed Limit

I am impatient.  I try to get where I am going as fast as I can.  I remember when the speed limit was 55 mph.  I was so happy when they raised the speed limit.  Now Texas is considering raising their speed limit to 80 mph on certain parts of the interstate.

    Is 80 mph too fast?

  • Bargains

I asked Laura to write an article for my site.  Momofjenmatt is one of the funniest sites on xanga.  Here is her post:

Sometimes I make bargains with God.  For example if I am late for work
and there is a train, I might say ” Please God if you make this a quick
train I will be on time for work from now on.”  Of course, I am late next
week.  Sometimes I ask God to give me signs like if the light turns
green in two minutes that means I am supposed to return the pants I can’t
afford.  But I don’t return the pants, I just tell myself that wasn’t a
real sign and ask for another one until I get the sign I want.

Do you ever make bargains with God?
