Celebrities
I was reading an article by Jessica Vascellero from the Wall Street Journal. According to the article, people on myspace are pretending to be celebrities. There are at least 12 Paris Hiltons and 16 David Spades.
This has caused some frustration among users of myspace. Some of them are said to be dumbfounded when they find out that the celebrities aren’t real.
One girl is said to have been offended when she left a message on what she thought was Pamela Anderson’s site. She told Pamela something special that came from the heart. She told Pamela, “You’re hot.” Just imagine when she found out it wasn’t Pamela Anderson after all.
I know you are asking yourself the same question that I am asking myself: The celebrities from xanga and myspace are fake?
Comments (189)
haha
yay, i’m first!
i never understood why people thought they were real
haha. funny stuff.
yep- we’re all a bunch of fakers!
nah, thinking: duh
yes. they are fake. why would they have time for this?
that`s sooo true. celebrity xanga fakers that claim to have a myspace are soo totally fake. they`re wasting their lame ass time on here.
Heh… yeah. I’ve seen a few of them on Xanga, too. I don’t think there’s any way to tell for sure. Celebrities may very well have sites. But the nature of the medium is that most people couldn’t prove a thing.
Whoa! Are you serious? Holy crap!
Haha . . . at least we have real celebs like you, Dan.
Obviously. I’m ashamed at the intellects of everyone who’d even bother looking to see. A celeb would set up their own domain for a site.
God, people are fucking gullible.
You mean people try to fake their identities online? What is world coming to? I, Alex Trebek, am appalled!
why would you be frustrated or hurt about that?!?
I can usually tell the difference between a real celebrity page and a fake one, especially if I know even a little bit about that celebrity. Some fake pages are poorly done or uninteresting. Also, they usually have information regarding birth-date, -place, and current city and state wrong. Sometimes, also, some actual celebrities will have relatively few friends, because they tend not to approve every single fan that friends them.
Oh, dear. I’m so disappointed.
I get it. Turn it around….You are really Gearge W Bush aren’t you
Of Course they’re fake.
I doubt real celebrities..well atleast the big ones would care about their average fan and make themselves a myspace.
Gasp! Whoever would have seen that one coming? *rolls eyes*
I’m been accused of a lot of things, and have been guilty of many things…but “fake” isn’t one of them. Plus, who the hell am I? Unless you are from Pico Union in Los Angeles and had street credit…you would never know me. I may not be famous, but know this, I’m all about being real these days. Anybody who believes that celebrities will spend their time on MySpace and Xanga deserve to be let down.
except you, me, and dmv
“You’re hot.”
*siiiiiigh*
MySpace sux sucks!
Obviously. People who think they’re real are either 10 years old or should be slapped in the face and brought to reality.
*Sigh*
omg, ur kidding.
isnt it obvious?
Only REAL celebrity is ME
Bah. It did not except my HTML strike out as it should have!
Xanga sucks sometimes, too!
i hate those annoying disney kids taking up our precious featured content… what a waste.
Haha…
So you mean that’s not really Criss Angel I have on my friend list ? Though Criss Angel is not really a celebrity…but he’s well on his way !
Heh. Some of these idiots are just incurable.
Ryc: Are you saying that preserving history is just a lost cause, and in with the generic complex?
As if real celebrities aren’t already inundated with fan mail and such. I think they need a MySpace and Xanga so they can reply to 3000 comments a day from adoring fans. Of course, that would cut into their performance time, and for some of them, that might not be a bad thing . . . .
they are fake everywhere….
Real celebrities on Xanga and Myspace. Yeah, right. And the moon’s made of blue cheese after all! Sorry, but there’s no way a celebrity would set up an account under their name. They’ve got enough privacy problems as it is with all the paparazzi running around. They don’t need any more stalkers than they already have.
Most likely.
There are a few “real” celebrities. Jenna Fisher (Pam) from The Office regularly keeps up with her myspace and she’s even talked about it in interviews. I believe it’s her. I don’t know of any celebrities that have xanga though.
I never understood why anyone would believe that huge A-list stars are REALLY on myspace. You can tell which ones are real – there are bands & comedians on myspace that are real, but besides that, most are fake. And for stars besides that, you can definitely tell if it’s legit or not. My little cousin asked me to help her find out which Dylan & Cole Sprouse pages were real on Myspace and it’s fairly obvious (for those of you who don’t know, they’re “Zack & Cody” on Disney … and they actually do have two myspaces).
And as far as I know, I’ve never seen a real celebrity Xanga … but I could be wrong!
How amazing that a mere decade ago this whole internet thing was just becoming reality; two decades ago computers were still pretty new-fangled; we have the greatest technology ever known at our fingertips, and we spend all our time pretending to be celebrities on myspace. Or worshipping ‘celebrities’ on myspace. By “we,” of course, I don’t mean “me.” “We” would be our culture in general. Religion is not the opiate of the masses; celebrity is. I think I need to start using the word “insipid” a lot more when discussing our culture.
Now I’m going to go do something useful like play some more Spider Solitaire.
Bah, the only ‘celebs’ I pay attention to are the ones on Featured Content.
sometimes they’re real. like Anthony Rapp. people ask him a lot at book signings if his myspace is the real one. it makes people happy that he says yes. uhmmm…
anyway, who cares?
x.x this is stupid.
blah.
yeah, they probably are fake. i hate it.
I figured there had to be posers on Myspace. It’s just too easy. I first got suspicious looking up bands and singers and getting several hits on the same name. But I wouldn’t go as end as saying all of them are. If a Myspace searc returns several celeb witht the same name, one of them has to be real. The only way to find is for the celeb themselve to say that’s my site.
xanga has celebs????
No way…
some are real… like cady mcclain from all my children has one that is real and so does devin rambin from amc also. but the majority of them are fake…
WHAT?? i can’t trust everything i read on the internet? my world is crumbling.
SAY WHA!!!???
NO WAY! THEY’RE REAL!!!1!!!1!ONE!!!11!
They are fake!
Some site on myspace are run my there managerr though.
The real Myspace celebrities have their Myspaces professionaly done, so it should be obvious who’s fake. You don’t get responses from these people, and it’s usually just advertising their music or movies.
It’s sad when people fall for that.
yes! There is someone out there always pretending to be someone popular like rich and famous.
There are so manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy miley cyrus;s its so fake.
I am an honest person, I am who I say I am.
I guess these dumb bunnies don’t realize that real celebrities have way more important things to do than hang around on some internet backwater. The real ones are jumping on couches or lipping off to cops while “under the influence.”
I can’t believe people actually fall for that.
probably. Sorry, Dan!
you have to have really no common sense to know most of the celebs on xanga and myspace are fake
haha. Love does pour out of Mr. DMV. Like a fountain.
DUH.
Many of them, if they were standing right in front of you, are still fake. I use myspace to chat with friends. I’ve found lots of people I went to school with, or worked with that I lost track of. It’s been really great for me. However, I remember that celebrities and bands can be copies so they may not be who I think they are.
No way!!!!
Most celebrities try so hard to keep the press out of their lives and business (for good reason) so why would they actually admit to being who they are on a myspace or xanga? That is just screaming attack me and invade my privacy that I have trie so hard to keep… well… private. Now some celebs might not use a fake and it really is them (however I think that is highly unlikely). But I think that if most celebrities have the time for a myspace or xanga they would not use their real name for their own protection.
i know of one band’s myspace that’s real (CKY). it’s run by their bass player. i don’t know of any other real myspaces.
If that’s true than Tom is my only real my space friend left! Is he atleast real??????
i hate how people are so gullible.
That girl will probably sue MySpace for the emotional trauma that this ordeal has caused her due to MySpace’s lack of sufficient celebrity fraud prevention. She’ll probably win too.
OMG!?! they AREN’T real??? JK wow some people are really stupid
Excuse me for being rude but…DUH!!!!!!! I mean come on, why would a celebrity waste their time?
Duh…
I work for a company that does musicians’ fan clubs and marketing. I can assure you that most musicians’ “official page” are never seen, much less updated by the musician’s themselves. It’s almost always the record label or fan club doing it.
So when Kenny Chesney leave you a “thanks for adding me” message…. sorry ladies, but it’s probably some label intern! LOL
OMG! I can’t believe it?!! My dreams are shattered. My heart, broken! Say it ain’t so?!?!
I swear some people are just stupid….Stupidity is like a disease…. And you can’t cure stupidity!
OMG they’re fake?! My life is so over now.
heh
There are a lot of fake celebrity myspaces, but there are also a LOT of real ones. It’s the popular thing to do, for celebrities to have their own MySpace. It’s kind of annoying how everyone jumps all over the “OMG FAKE UR GULIBLE LOLZ” bandwagon before even looking into it. Lots of famous artists, comedians and “D-List” celebs have them, along with a few more “A-List” celebs.
I can hardly imagine your hot coming from the heart, she was probably some depressed aneorexic that was idolizing pamela andersons body and was ashamed to tell some faker that that was her goal by calling her hot, its not like tons of other people wouldn’t have seen the comment anyways.
Senaator Evan Bayh is on facebook! But, it really is him.
as long as you’re real!!!
*hugs*
To quote from one of the characters from Serenity: “do we care? or are we caring about that?”
celebrities are people. I am a person. You are a person. Why does a person suddenly become special because he or she is known by more people than we are? “Popularity” is such a strange concept
wait a second… im tom cruise
Even the real celebrities are fake, airheads attracting airheads. So obviously. What is celebrity anyway? Goofy people fixating on goofier “talented” people who are really just lucky receivers on board the hype express.
Now watch my video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFD5wFtECyE
ooh if enough people do, maybe I’ll become a celebrity
I never thought they were real. But they can be fun. I have a fake “Pirate of the Caribbean” guy on mine (Can’t remember the name) because I like the actor and think the photo is cool.
Tila Tequila is the only real one I’ve found. Then again, I haven’t looked too hard.
I’m not fake..I’m a real celebrity…oh wait, that’s just in my mind.
Go about your business.
some people are so gullible and naive.
Depends, do you think Nelson Mandela really has a Myspace?
See for yourself:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=29101953
And on a side note: You make me laugh.
Yep, fake, fake, fake. Oh well!
Most of them are.
Imagine that…people pretending to be someone else to gain popularity! What a novel idea…one that’s been going on for years, but in a less blatant manner.
haha i’ve seen thoes sites and its dumb …. imagine if u the celebrity sitting there and then theres millions of ppl pretending to be u thats stupid and if u believe thoes ppl yeah ur slooooowww
Oh, and it’s not like most of the real ones sit around making the layout, updating it and posting bulletins. They check it occasionally I’m sure, but they hire professionals to help maintain it, just like a personal domain.
I hope that there’s not multiple LSP1′S out there.
Most of them
You’re hot.
of course. at first, i used to have my doubts. but now it’s too obvious–if celebs were into blogging, they would do it on their official site. besides, their lives get blogged in gossip magz anyway!
XOXO,
cG.
LOL to ehowton
You’re hot.
Posted 8/24/2006 at 2:41 PM by ehowton
Of course they’re fake. Its kind of OBVIOUS.
What celebrity has time to update their xanga and comment to everyone who comments them and have entire conversations with people online all day long?
People need to get their own lives.
I don’t care fake or not..they don’t pay my bills and my life does not revolve around them period!!!
pfffft…..yeas all the celebrities are fake!
Honestly, why would they want a Xanga or Myspace when they probably have enough to buy it!
I dont usually add celebs unless its like bands… and you know when its bands because they have tour dates and music and pictures and the like on there…. Simply amazing!
-Jack!e
These sites are called ‘Role Plays’ where people can pretend to have relationships as celebrities. They can still have the fun of having a relationship without feeling guilty afterwards. I only know this because I have a best friend that literally has 6 of these. She has ones about Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan, and others. My younger sister even has a couple of acounts. I think MySpace is over-rated. It sucks a LOT.
I just pass them all off as fake. Besides, how many real celebrities have enough time to get on xanga/myspace and post/comment that often. It’s absurd.
There are celebrities on Xanga? LOL LOL There must be some really gullible people out there in internet land.
While there are SOME artists who have myspace’s for real, they usually don’t use them in the same way as regular myspacers…
what dumbfounds me is that people have the time and energy to sit around and make fake myspace’s and maintain them…..
I think 98% are non-celebrities. I find it ridiculous how they pose as celebrites like they dont have a life & use other peepol`s.
I’ve noticed a bunch of disney celebrities have them. Theres at least 5 Cole Sprouses on featured right now.
Well, only SOME of these sites are roleplays. The roleplays will all SAY that they’re roleplays, so as to not piss people off who go on there and say “ur so fake! ur not lindsey lohnnn! poserrrr!111!!1!!” (which also irks me … why waste your time calling these people out?) There are still plenty of xangas and myspaces who actually are pretending to be the celebrity, and aren’t just being roleplays.
Oh dear. My bubble has been burst. Thanks a lot.
you’ve broken my heart. I thought celebrities had so much time on thier hands that they can have multiple xangas/myspaces. They have the time and care to comment back to all of thier little fans because they care so much…….
you are saying it isn’t true??????
You couldn’t prove there are celebs on Xanga or MySpace, but, as a rule, celebs are much too busy to have and maintain websites of this nature. Take all of it with a grain of salt.
-Guru on the Hill
Hey we are real!
I myself am Theodore Roosevelt.
This is devestating.
Damn, you mean Carmen Electras xanga isnt real?! You ruined my day,Dan.
THEY’RE NOT REAL?!?!?!?!?!
i’m broken hearted
honestly i think it is dumb to think that a person is a celebrity on myspace or xanga because you dont really know and who would care?! It is just a celebrity. they provide entertainment. and thats all. otherwise besides a butt load of money they are just like us. average joes. just a little shinier around the edges.
Morgen
Personally, I can’t get over the fact that there are 16 people on MySpace who think it’s worth the effort to pretend to be David Spade. Egads…
Most of them are not. I’m sure all of them on xanga are fake, let’s face it. As far as myspace, I was watching E! News the other days and they were saying that Angelina Jolie and big starts like that don’t have one but they did say that Hilary Duff has one herself, for her music that is.
Of coruse they’re not real. Duh.
Lyk, no wai!
It’s too hard to tell. Some of the “celebrities” put pictures of “themselves” on thier site but if you look at the pictures, you see a website’s address (probably where the pic came from) I don’t beleive when I see “celebrities” on websites. If you want to a little more sure if this is a celebrity or not, look at the name of the site. If there is “RP” in the name, it’s a fake celeb. But don’t yell at the person for that. RP means Role-Playing so the person is just having a bit of fun. They can’t help if people think that there site belongs to a celebrity.
“Personally, I can’t get over the fact that there are 16 people on MySpace who think it’s worth the effort to pretend to be David Spade. Egads…”
dlerner75 , I believe, has brought up the most important point yet.
Are you fake? Am I fake? Are we all simply living an illusion, living in a computerised world called the Matrix controlled by an evil machine called LionsGrrr.
SHOUT OUT TO FELLOW SPRINGFIELD-ER!!
ROCK ON!!!
on xanga they all fake because why would Paris hilton come on xanga??
But some celebrities on myspace are real, some
OH MY FREAKING…!!!
YOU MEAN….!?!?!
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
or not…
Read my message to you at myspace. *winks*
1. Who would even think that famous people would actually have their own myspace/xanga accounts. They have official websites for that sort of stuff. Duh.
2. There have been fake people on facebook.com for as long as it existed. I’m facebook friends with Captain Picard and Lindsay Lohan for pete’s sake.
yeah uhm i knew they wre fake to start with……………. celebs dont blog sry…….. its the truth…………
i see the so-called celeb names but never ever check out their sites, all start struck…hoping and thinking that it is them.
some of the entertainment blogs feature real links to stars’ blogs, myspaces and such. just like the barker/moakler drama that went on a few weeks past.
Hahahahah. Newsflash, right?
pfft.
[ariana]
the majority are fake DUH!!!
At least *I* advertise that I am a fake celeberty on MySpace. No confusion to be had there.
There are two things to consider…
1. How many celebrities actually have the time or the interest to have a blog.
B. Unless you hear the web site from the celebrity’s mouth OR from their ‘official’ web site, you can’t assume it’s real.
And Dan? You will always be a celebrity to me.
yeah there fake i dont get why people portray celebrities on myspace and xanga but they do
of course they’re fake.. pathetic
I’m just thinking DUH.
Though some are for roleplay games.
Like they pretend to go to a mall as that celebrity.
I find it a waste of time.
i still don’t understand why people worship them…. celebrities i mean. they put their clothes on the same way we do… they just look nicer in them most of the time.
There are clebrities on Xanga?
Wait, you mean lisa simpson and squidward’s sites are fake!!?!
You can’t really tell ‘cuz celebrities have said that they go to these sites.
Good Lord! You can’t be serious? Fakes? How did that happen?
Who .. fucking .. cares ..
Running out of material, eh?
>_< my gosh. I can’t believe someone would think that a celebrity would be on myspace, especially when there’s like a bazillion of them. Use your brain, or did the zombies get there first??? Bah… Those “celebs” are just a bunch of rp-ing fools. They think it’s fun to pretend to be a celebrity and they pretend to go out with othe rp-ers and they post pictures of “themselves” I find it quite… strange. I’d rather post my intense hatred for a celebrity before pretending to be one.
first of all, if they think any of the fake celebriteis who tYp3 lYk3 Wh0a is a real celebrity, they deserve being heartbroken.
Fake celebrities are losers who need to get lives
Are you serious?! That’s so hurtful! Why would anyone do such a thing?! :p
Loving the message from the heart, too. That’s real deep, that one.
Random props!
And yah, it makes me mad that people fake celebrity xangas…i mean, have you seen thir sites? hillary duff, raven symone, all those little disney stars and such…they all are fake…or so i think.
have a happy day!
There’s no way for anyone to know who they are exchanging information with on public blogs like this. That should be obvious to the most simple of minds. So I am utterly amazed to find that there are people out there who actually believe they are writing to famous actors, singers, or authors. Oh well! I guess I should children can’t be expected to see clearly. Or some adults for that matter.
If I was a celebrity and I wanted a site, I would pick a “regualar person” name and just write about stuff without giving away who I was. Hmm… what if Dan is a celebrity and that’s why he won’t tell us what he does? Just an idea…
I cannot get into my messages on myspace. I keep getting that, “sorry you have encountered an unexpected error” message. GRRRRR! I can see I have messages and wonder if you have replied, but it won’t let me in right now! Pfffft! I just shut it down and will try to log in again……
I need to speak to you! *smiles*
do any celebs have time for that junk?
I’m not fake… I’m REAL!!
There are some real bands that have MySpaces, though. Not particularly well-known bands, although some are beginning to make a name for themselves.
Of course they are fake. I mean, not only do celebrities NOT have the time to keep up with a daily blog, but it’s just easy to see, “Hey, that person really isn’t a celebrity.”
I mean, evertime I see a Dane Cook site– and it really isn’t Dane Cook.. I think I want to cry. =(
Seriously. The little tards that keep impersonating celebrities, should seriously stop. It’s annoying— and you’re not fooling anyone.
Except the idiots, of course. ^^
I always found it so pathetic that so many people comment those fake celebrity sites! Probably a bunch of young children who are likely to be taken in and are vulnerable to that type of thing…*sigh*.
grr. Then make me mad, and they make it difficult to find decent reading on Featured where you’d think there would be. =P
I can’t see any celebs wasting their time on MySpace or Xanga.. .the only time I’d even give it a second thought would be one of the sponsored xangas on the front page , and those are crap anyway.
And then there’s tehe celebrity roleplayers… I posted on that two days ago, coincidentally. =P
They’re all roleplaying.
In my opinion it’s stupid. Fans don’t know what’s going on and praise them. And it’s so annoying to always see like 5 of the same celebrity on the featured content list–and their entries weren’t even meaningful or entertaining. They were just ‘hey guyz, lots ov luv, c u tomorrow! <3′
haha. thats funny. i always figured they were fake.
Are you really Dan? I know you wanted to know if we’re real a couple of weeks ago so it’s only fair for you to tell us that you’re real.
I like casvelyn ’s idea that Dan is actually a celebrity… that would be funny… **thinks** who is a celebrity named dan? HA, Daniel Radcliffe!! But he doesn’t seem like the type to create soemthing like this… Oh well, we shall think of more.
Haha, I made a Jack Johnson site once.
of course, I shut it off when someone sent me a heartfelt letter saying “you music touches me in ways I’d love to express to you.”
So yeah– my faking days were over.
Of course not all the celeb’s are fake.
On Dane Cooks “Tourgasm” it showed Dane actually on Myspace messaging people back and stuff.
-k
I think it’s pretty obvious they are not celebrities..people should trust everybody..it’s the internet..they can say they are anyone that want to be.
of course they are. if a celebrity DID have xanga, it would probably be under a fake name, and not have his/her picture up.
No, really? -_-
like Elaine of Seindfeld said ” Fake, Fake, Fake, Fake“…….
WOW. no shit, sherlock!
The only ones that use their real identies are porn stars.
lol
everyone is fake on the internet lol j/ks
Just so you know….I AM a famous lady….the Avon lady! *giggles*
Yeah, most celebrities on xanga and myspace are fake, but some of them really do have a myspace. Most of the time, if they are real celebrities that have a myspace, they never get the time to actually go on it, but they do sometimes make them. Like, Good Charlotte, I know they have a myspace because it says that they do on their real website. How do I know that the website is really them? It’s in their cd case. They go on their myspace once every couple of weeks.
-KrIsTiN-
haha.. totally agree.. “like omggawd they’re like totally like fakeee?? thats like sooo not kewl”
most of them are like 10 year olds who need lives, lol..
I totally agree with Orionis73 and angelheaven72.
Oh no, they’re not real?!?! You’ve got to be kidding me… say it ain’t so!!!
I dont’ find myself a frequent hollywood/celebrity ‘tourist’ as I liek to call them. And since sites like this hardly qualify as celebrity, I guess I’m not surprised? Us cynics are hard to shock. *shrug*
say it isn’t so Dan… hahah.
yeah, they’re fake, but they’re just desperate for friends
People actually believe celebrities are on Myspace? I subscribe to some celebrity Myspaces for information but never in my dreams did i think they actually read their comments.
There not all fake buddy… My sister works at two celebrity nightclubs in LA. She knows a few personally who are on myspace. Heres how to tell a fake from the real deal:
1. Old pics/publicity pics…fake. Most celebrities will put something up that up until that point, you havn’t seen in US. Weekly. (This in and of itself does not mean celebrity though, because once it’s up it will fly across the internet.)
2. Most stars are too busy to post frequently. There are two BIG pop/TV/Big Screen stars on there who are the real deal. If you read their postings you will see its been ages since they posted but they say something that genuinely helps their career when they do post.
3. The stars are aware that there are frauds on myspace. It amuses some of them, and they hide “comfortably” in the knowledge that the harrassment that they usually endure is weakened by the confusion.
i have come to the point now that i think prolly most people on these things are fakes. ever watch Office? so i just deal with what they present themselves as. i have a seperate site of just family and close friends. that one is more real. but this one is good too. i get a lot of people searching porn on my footprints. maybe the name i made up is some porn queen, and they think they’ve found a celebrity!!!!!
why would someone pretend to be david spade?????? i could probably think of a thousand people i’d rather pretend to be before i got to david spade……including several hundred females……david spade????…..are you sure!?! now he’s gonna come on my xanga site and give me a hard time….or maybe it’ll just be the person who pretended to be him…..i’ll pretend to care…..
Funny you should bring this up. Check out this video MYSPACE by EleventySeven (scroll down after the page loads). our student pastor used this as an example of “being real” recently …
Here are the lyrics
Eleventyseven MySpace
Tell me all about yourself
Tell me all about your favorite bands
How they’re super-indie-neo-hardcore
Tell me all about your favorite hobbies
And the way you love sunsets
Well who doesn’t?
Still I’d like the chance to really see
If what you say is true and has integrity
Cause I could know everything about you
And still know nothing at all
I know that it’s wrong to form an opinion on only what I see
But in my defense it’s really hard to know
When MySpace is the only thing that you ever show
So it seems you’ve got a lot of friends
How many of them know you
Or even care if you’re alive or dead?
When was the last time you were honest
Instead of posting blogs of fake emotions?
Still I’d like the chance to really see
If what you say is true and has integrity
Cause I could know everything about you
And still know nothing at all
I know that it’s wrong to form an opinion on only what I see
But in my defense it’s really hard to know
When MySpace is the only thing that you ever show
When you finally resurface to the point of finding purpose
We’ll begin to see just who you are
I know that it’s wrong to form an opinion on only what I see
But in my defense it’s really hard to know
When MySpace is the only thing that you ever show
Oh -gasp- not real?! What about santa then? Is he a fake too?
My sister-in-law is convinced that she has befriended Hilary Duff on a Xanga site. I think that it is actually some random person pretending, like the rest of the celebrity Xangas and MySpaces out there.
-Kristin
i think we’re all celebrities in our hearts
you have way to many comments
It’s amazing how society as a whole can be so blind and easily tricked into believing that lies are the truth. I suppose as human beings we just absorb what we want to believe even if its all false!
of course. every single celeb on xanga is fake. duh. myspace, there are a few that are real. but you shouldnt trust them unless there’s proof
Most of not all of them are fakes, even I rp someone who isn’t around anymore and I have 3 bots on my board based on video game characters(they will even tell you they are “human” lol)
here just do it
most people aren’t sure of what they really want in life. I
received this
letter from a friend on the computer, did what it told me to, and
within a
week, everything I had wished came true!! Here’s an exact copy,
this
really
works!!!!
*************************************************************
1. To yourself, say the name of the only
guy or girl you wanna be with 3
times!
*************************************************************
2. Think of something you wanna accomplish
within the next week and say it to your self
6
times!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. If you had 1 wish what would it be? say it to
yourself 9 times!!!
———————————————————————–
4. Think of something that you want to happen
between you and that 1special person and say
it to your self 12
times!!!
——————————————————————–
5. Now, heres the hard part! Pick only 1 of these wishes and as
you scroll down focus and
concentrate on it and think on nothing
else but that wish.
Now make one last &final wish about that one wish
that you picked.
After reading this, you have 1 hour to send it out to 15 people,
and what
you wished for will come true within in one week!
u only get one chance!!!!! Now scroll down and think of your
crush!!!
Keep going
down
Keep going
Keep
going
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you think of your crush? I hope so, that was
your last chance. Now pay very close attention this important
message!
Sorry but once read, must be sent. Yes, this is one of those kinda
chain
letters that everyone hates. This one has been going since 1864
and
if you
break this chain, you will pay!!!!!! Remember that after hearing
these
stories.
First Example:
Take Barbra Wallace.. She was a pretty lucky girl,
up till she got this same chain letter. She had a crush on the same
kid
since kindergarden. when she got this mail she didn’t pay any
attention to
it. She just thought, no big deal. And deleted it. The next day her
dad
got fired and her mom dies in a car crash. If she would have sent
the
letter none of that would have happened and her mom
would be alive.
Second Example:
Try Freddie D. Now Freddie D. was your average
nerd. Had glasses, was short and chubby, was in gifted. All the
signs of
your total dork. He also received this letter and sent it to 51
people in
the hour. Now, like Barbra, he had a crush on a girl since 3rd
grade. The
next day after sending the chain the girl confessed her love for
him ever
since 3rd grade. Freddie D. finally had the courage to ask her out,
and of
course, she had been waiting to yes to that for years. They grew
up
and
married each other to live happily forever.
Third Example:
Now if you couldn’t relate to the others, this’ll
get ya hooked. Listen to this. A kid named Jordan Johnson was just
getting on AOL to check his mail. He was a quiet kid, not that
popular but
not a geek either. he was just normal. He saw he had mail from his
friend. It was this exact letter. Now Jordan Johnsen was a smart
kid and
he knew what could happen if he didnt pass it on. He simply pulled
a few
friends from his buddy list and sent it along. The next day,
about
that
same time, he got a phone call. It said he had won the lottery!
then his
dad came home and bought him a new bike! His mom bought him
Nintendo64 and
play station! His grandmother sent him a new computer, and his best
friend
gave him tickets to the concert he wanted to go to, Kid Rock and
Limp
Bizkit! Then he inherited a brand-new tv from his aunt! He was
goin’ wild!
the next day his secret crush asked him out, and they have been
going out
ever since.
Now, you heard the stories. I know
which person i’d rather
be, but thats up to you. I wouldn’t wanna end up like Barbra but
thats
only me. We all want what we cant have but now’s ur chance to go
out with
that special somebody ur waiting for. Take it or leave it. If you
send
this to-
1 person- you will lose all luck in ur love
life…..forever!!!!!
10 people- your crush will say they like you as a
friend……ONLY!!!!!
15 people- your crush will say they like you
20 people- your crush will ask you out!
25 people- your crush will kiss you!!
30 people – Your crush
will have sex with you
35 people or more- All of the above!!
Don’t blow it, it’s ur chance to shine! Have
This is an example at how retarded people can be.I know the celebrites on xanga and myspace are fake.But there are real ones.It just hard to find out who is real and who is not.I just like commented them still for someone to talk to.But who cares.i knew this and im like 15?I hope people older then me didnt know this or else they need to do something about it.like get common sense.
They obviously haven’t spent that much time on Xanga first!
DUH!! Why would real celebreties let us know what they were thinking through xanga or myspace. the probably wouldn’t have the time to anyway.
Personally I think that whoever does that is either a) wants a good laugh or b) Just wants to be some one else, but come on that’s pretty low.
who gives a rat’s ass…if you’re dumb enough to run behind celebrities….who are just unrighteously glorified PEOPLE, then if you’re scammed…well…that’s because you are worshiping the wrong things/people.
of course they’re fake.
The chances of those people actually being celebrities is so slim. I wouldn’t buy it if I were you.
well some of them are real, like the dances on so you think you can dance, Benhi and Ivan have myspaces, and they’re legit…. i think…. *loooks around suspiciously*
