I dont really “pray” but I know that I do talk to God. Now of the how many times a day…its more like how many times a week. Does this make me a lousy Christian?
Meals at home and before bed.
3-10 generic asking God for stuff. No “amens” or kneeling with your hands together or any of that pagentry.
Good question. It varies depending on how my day is going and what’s going on in my life. One thing is for sure, I pray daily.
Depends on how bad the traffic is
Continuously.
And in response to a previous comment, prayer doesn’t have to be “asking for something.” God likes for us to be in constant communication with Him. And it’s good to THANK Him for things we appreciate. It doesn’t always have to be “please God give me this.”
prolly around 3-4 actual stop and pray times, but during test days: always.
Zero. D:.
once a day
Only when in trouble.
in thessolonians (i think) the bible says to pray incessantly. i like to come as close to that as i can. a prayer doesn’t have to be formal. i can thank God for every small blessing and ask Him to bless me in every small thing i do.
School year, an average of 2-5, depending on if i have a test.
Summer- 3 times each month. depends on if i go to church and when VBS is. My mom forces me to work there.
In the morning and evening, at least. Extra if I see something that moves me to.
it depends on the day, but I could always do it more.
depends on the day and my mood and attitude. usually it’s at least once….
I would say probably about maybe 5-8 times. Though if you think about it you should only pray once, because you should always be in constant prayer. So I really need to cut down on the #s but pick up on the amount.

Too many to count. Some days (which probably should be every day) it is almost constant.
It’s not about quantity, but the quality of your belief.
As a Muslim, we all have to pray 5 times a day. At least! I think that’s good in remembrance of God.
3 or 4; one silently for each meal and one at night.
Somewhere around 7ish…always before meals, and usually, whenever something comes to mind, be it thanks or asking for help in some matter or whatever…whenever I get the urge, as it were…
Constantly — it’s an ongoing conversation, never really stops.
I don’t know….lots…off and on…

Hey, I’m Stephan. You don’t know me, but I’m taking a survey. Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Please comment me back.

Sometimes it is “official” like when praying in group (home church), but usually it is an on-going conversation about what is happening in life that day. I might ask for a sick friend, for income to keep going, or telling Him how beautiful His world is as I am driving down the road. I think it is important to recognize all the blessings He gives us each day. Yes…many days I get caught up in myself and don’t say a word. The main thing is that I acknowledge who He is and what He has done for me.
it varies:)
maybe at least three-five times…it should be a lot more!
can’t even count. just talk to Him thru out my day, tell Him how thing’s r goin(as if He doesn’t already know) but its not like i get down on my knees everytime, or even say it aloud!
for sure once a day, but i have frequent conversations with Him either out loud or in my head throughout the day – not sure on exact count.
peace,
I don’t think I keep track, but I will today and tomorrow and get back to you! Sophia
Zero. Haha! I’m completely on the fast track to hell, but that’s ok. I figure once I get there I’ll be praying nonstop to make up for lost time.

three times a day before i go to bed and all that
Brooke
Around 3-5 or more sometimes. I talk to God throughout the day.
I pray compulsively, especially if I’m worrying about someone or something at the moment. I feel that if I don’t pray for them when the thought pops into my head, something bad will happen to them as a punishment for me.
I asked Papa Bear, and he said, “It depends.” . . .which is along the lines of what I was thinking. It depends on how bad a day it is. I think I’ve come closest to “praying without ceasing” (though still not even close to ‘without ceasing’) on the really bad days. I’ve always wondered why I get so complacent when things are going well.
I pray at least twice a day and dozens of Thank you Lords for the good in my life. I believe that prayers get answered but I try not to ask for much. I am just truely thankful for what I have.
That depends. How many tests are in this particular day? lol
a LOT… like, I went to Cedar Point yesterday for my first time, and went on the Millennium Force and as I was going up that huuuge hill I was praying really really really fast……… I did that on every ride I went on.
I pray every time I get in a vehicle and a ride and before I go to bed and usually when I wake up and when I hear sirens and when something I really want to go to might get can’t because of weather
and sometimes just for random people I see on the street, I pray for them to learn to know and love God
whoops my bad that comment by Arykan was actually me
I forgot to sign out of my sister’s name
Um… I’d say about 3 times officially.
but there are random times where I just start praying short prayers for whats going on at the moment.
a lot….i could not live withotu talking to God atleast twice a day…usually more.
I pray before I go to bed, as in starting with “dear God” and ending with, “in Jesus’ name, amen”, and then I’ll say other “little” prayers through the day when there’s a need for it. I feel bad cuz lately I have been forgetting to ask His blessing before meals – gotta work on that one.
hi
As often as I can.
Zero. Haha! I’m completely on the fast track to hell, but that’s ok. I figure once I get there I’ll be praying nonstop to make up for lost time.

Sorry, miss. It doesn’t work that way. Once you’re in hell, you stay in hell, and no amount of praying you do in hell will matter one bit. It’s like prison. If you lived a life of crime, and one day you are caught and have to go to jail, a simple “sorry I didn’t realize it was wrong”, won’t cut it. You can either take the sentence, or find a substitute. i.e. Jesus Christ.
Probably not enough. I need all the help from God that I can get
Pretty much all the time.

Never. I don’t pray anymore.
> Several, usually in a hurry ; it works for me….. :- }
Peace here and now!!!
I try to talk with Him throughout my day…but I have one specific time where I focus on prayer and reading my Bible
I try to remember to pray at night and when I eat I think of people that don’t have enough and remember that he has given me so much love and I like reading the bible before I go to sleep. Gives me peace in my soul and the feeling of being forgiven.
frequently… i don’t count how many… i just say prayers inmy head a lot… thanking him for things, or asking him ti help me or my friend, or when an ambulance goes by
i don’t have a definite number. many times, i go without praying. today, i prayed 3 times- in church, for someone, and for God to give me strength. just whenever it’s needed.
Just once..and its lasts all day.
“without ceasing”
Seriously though, pretty often. I don’t have much else to do at work. lol.
That is impossible to count, seeing’s as how one prays without ceasing, especially if one prays without speaking words, anytime one need s to be sent up to God or Jesus, during an emergency. Sometimes I pray with a feeling, before a crucifix, and do nothing but cry inside. A person who is severely persecuted may be one who prays constantly, without much habitual ritual. One would not want more religious persecution, for the pious needs alone. For me, anyone who can pray with me, (and pray for me), is greatly appreciated, since I am one of those people who have been brought up without a parent’s spiritual direction, having never LEARNED to pray. I pray for others, a lot, during the day, but I have never been aware that I needed to count them, at all. Not much credit should be given to a person for the amount or quality of a prayer, as Jesus and God the Father hear every prayer, even if the simple ones.
As a Christian, I’m supposed to be literally always in prayer.

I can’t count the number of times. It seems that more and more I think of something that I need to seek His intervention for. If not for myself, then for someone else.
as many times as you need to
Never, I don’t think there is anyone to pray to.
If it counts for anything, I do meditate and try to get in tune with my emotions and thoughts quite often.
once… sometimes none
0 — Atheist
Not enough and it’s evident in my life at the moment.
2-3 times
at least 6 times a day on average, to my Gods anyway.
Big fat zero.
my life is an enternal prayer.
Not Enough!
i do at least 5 times but sometimes more..
rarely. i usually only pray when i feel more blessed than i think i deserve, or more worried than i can handle.
pretty much constantly… I guess…
i have to pray once before i sleep, like a habit now and sometimes i pray during the day
never
prayer is a life style
i don’t
Too many to count. Some days (which probably should be every day) it is almost constant.
It’s not about quantity, but the quality of your belief.
As a Muslim, we all have to pray 5 times a day. At least! I think that’s good in remembrance of God.
3 or 4; one silently for each meal and one at night.
Somewhere around 7ish…always before meals, and usually, whenever something comes to mind, be it thanks or asking for help in some matter or whatever…whenever I get the urge, as it were…
Constantly — it’s an ongoing conversation, never really stops.
I don’t know….lots…off and on…
Have a great weekend. – JN.14:27 Rom.5:8
At least once, but I try to do 2. I have terrible memory so sometimes I forget to pray another time!
0.
I used to have to do it every hour but it never brang me comfort.
.01
NONE. Zero. Praying’s for squares. I rely in more… reliable things. Heh.

honestly, not as much as I should… I’ve been selfish lately… (sigh)
Two or three times a day.
I think it`s more like a talk than a prayer.
alot..but never enough…like “OneNarrowRoadWalker” I do talk to him thoughout the day…
None.
I focus more on what I can do to fix any situation I’m in instead of trying to put my blame on something else.
at least 4.
apparently not enough
Quite a bit, but I don’t count. Number doesn’t matter.
it is a continous conversation…

I pray every time I get in a vehicle
and a ride
and before I go to bed
and usually when I wake up
and when I hear sirens
and when something I really want to go to might get can’t because of weather
and sometimes just for random people I see on the street, I pray for them to learn to know and love God
whoops my bad that comment by Arykan was actually me
I forgot to sign out of my sister’s name

> Several, usually in a hurry ; it works for me….. :- }
Peace here and now!!!
I try. It’s hard.
