The Color of Jesus
Jesus is black. In the movie, “Color of the Cross,” Jesus is played by a black actor.
There are those who think that Jesus was part of a tribe that migrated from Nigeria.
Others see Jesus as having olive skin like the Jesus on the right below. Still others must see him as green like the Incredible Hulk. (Picture on the left below)
Some see Jesus as white.
Others see him as a bronze-skinned man.
What do you think was the most likely color of Jesus?

Sandy but it doesnt matter
eh… middle-eastern.
He was Jewish so olive skin
I have no clue!!
probly kinda bronzish
olive skin.
bronze?
yellow
it doesnt matter
The same as every other jewish person in the middle east those days, middle eastern tan.
Olive complected.
What the fuuuuuuuuuuuck.
Does it matter?
He was just a man.
Black?
He might not even be HUMAN O=
olive
Red.
who cares? what if he’s yellow?
he was purple with pink freckles. duh.
I’d imagine He’d look like the typical Mideastern Hebrew.
Why do you want to know?
middle-eastern
Bronze or olive. More like Osama Bin Laden than us.
Mid-eastern. He probably looked a lot like bin Laden.
Olive skinned or Bronze, whatever middle-eastern is. He wasn’t black or white or Asian, etc. Let’s be historically, not politically, correct here.
-Jared
I think Jesus was olive-bronzey. But does it matter? No. As “OHSNAP_ItsAriCakes” said, Jesus was just a man like anyone else.
Someone already said that. Woo!
jewish. which usually means a tan skin, dark frizzy hair, and brown eyes.
HAHA, that last picture is hilarious.
The multitude of blue-eyed depictions of Jesus has always bugged me. Since He was from the middle east, I’ve always assumed dark(ish) skin and dark eyes.
He was more likely like the man who is pictured last.
It is unimportant.
closest to the skin tone of the bottom picture…
Olive
Jesus is the color of love.
tall, dark & handsome! <3!
does it matter? does making him black, olive, green, or white change how u see jesus? i hope not. i thik that racial christian people see him only as white. just because jesus can’t be black!
anyways. i don’t really know. or care.
he isn’t my savior
um he looked like God.. lol
~Hannah
It doesn’t really matter to me, but I would think he was middle-eastern.
That would be the olive-bronzy color, btw…
Uh, the color of his parents heritage…which was Jewish…which is like an olive-ish color.
Dur.
But really, does it matter? This “politically correct” attitude some ppl adopt is so stupid.
Brown-ish.
historically speaking, He’d be bronze-ish, i think. but what does it matter? the color of His skin is completely irrelevant. he could’ve been purple for all i care, it doesnt change what He stood for.
Does it really matter? I would picture him not completely black but dark bronze middle eastern as some people already said. I don’t see the big deal.
The bottom one is probably most accurate, he was after all a middle easterner.
I think the most logical look for him would have been the last one. I mean, the Jews were God’s people, and that must have been the stylish thing for God’s son to put on. Although maybe he went white just to be rebellious.
Dr. Carasco
If He existed he would have been Middle Eastern no question
He couldn’t be white for sure.
Olive or bronze… for many reasons.
Though for all I know, he was probably a deep navy blue!
Jesus was a Jew. Dark hair, dark eyes, stout.
non-Catholic
who cares?…
Same tribe as David, he was Semitic and a man that worked hard with his hands until he was thirty years old. He would not have looked anything like that rich pampered boy named Bin Laden. But he would have been as dark.
olive to brownish, cuz thats the color of the region……….. but does it really matter?
more black then white.
Jewish colored.
Arab
Female
Olive to dark skin. But in all reality, what difference does it make? As long as they can relate to Him, let them think He’s whatever color they want.
olive or bronze. but it doesn’t matter, like many people said.
IF He was caucasian (and that’s a very big “if”), He was most likely olive-compected. He was a carpenter, He spent most of His time in the sun – and as most Middle Easterners know, spend time in the sun and you’ll turn 5 shades darker. If He wasn’t black He probably looked it.
I think He was probably Middle Eastern, but I honestly don’t think it’s important. I do hate it though when people/religions portray him as white with blue eyes, etc. It just feels like He’s not even my Jesus, just a creation of the Western mind.
the color of water? hahaha – that’s a good book btw
palestinian?
Both of the Jesus’ are on the left?
Jesus-the person everyone thinks he is- is whatever color the person who thinks of him wants him to be. Just like peoples god(s). It really doesn’t matter. Everyone has their own idea of what he should look like, what they want him to look like..
Olive sounds most likely.
historically jesus was from the middle east and was light skinned enough to blend in with the romans until he was murdered by them.
but most christians here don’t even accept the fact that he could be from the middle east. its sad. color shouldn’t matter.
is it necessary for salvation? no
but- sinse he was jewish and lived in the sun all his life, then he’s definetly not white, but i don’t think he’s black. He’s Jewish
well, He was Hebrew which is Israeli right? and they’re white or tanish right?
and then there are white people who can tan really dark…and then some black people are really light skinned, almost white, and others who are really really dark…..and every other race has differences between its people too….
but what does it matter? everyone is a human being, just different colors…..even each color is a different color…..like there are really really white people who tend to turn bright red in the summer
but it doesn’t matter it just makes the world more beautiful….God made each one of us whatever color we are and loves us all the same…
He doesn’t have favorites….so it shouldn’t matter what color anyone is…
Well, he probably wasn’t white, considering the area. I’d say he would’ve either looked Middle Eastern or black.
But does it really matter?
olive/bronzeish.
like it matters….?
In my AP Art History class, the teacher was discussing how mary is depicted as a dark skinned women in many of the romanesque churches in France and Italy
Clear.
H’es the color of water.
bronze
THE CARDINAL’S JUST WON THE WORLD SERIES!!! Just thought that I would bring it up…
the title of this post made me laugh so bloody hard… you have no idea… goodness. <3
darker skin… middle eastern, most likely!
It just doesn’t matter, in the least. Soul matters, color doesn’t.
I’m with pretty much everyone else… it doesn’t matter, he could be rainbow and it doesn’t change a thing
The title is worth a couple of good laughs (or smirks in my case).
probly olive/bronze….. middle eastern…..
bronze
though i dont think it matters…
Jesus was a Jewish man living in the first century middle east…he definitely wasn’t black or white…or green.
he was middle eastern so Olive skinned. There is no way he was blonde haired and blue eyed
He probably looked more like Osama bin Laden than any of the paintings we have of him.
i’m amused at the array of responses… people who hate God have comments like “who cares?” and “it doesnt matter!”…
what did the 1st century jewish guy’s skin look like? everyone seems to think olive… i’ll go with that…
Asian. Wouldn’t that be a nice surprise?
I don’t think it matters.. He was Jewish. nuff said
But question: Why would they make Jesus black but have his disciples remain white/jewish? That’s kinda confusing, no?
blonde blue eyed, ya know , like he was from norway instead of the mideast
He was Arabic.
well, he isn’t just a person. i mean, yeah, i don’t believe he was a savior as i am an atheist, but he was a prominent historical figure that millions of people worship.
olive. he was jewish
does it matter?
he was flesh colored
Since being Jewish isn’t a race it is underterminal. Looking back at his ancestors you will find all races by historical fact. I don’t think that is coincedental.
I’m Jesus bitch.
-Jacob
What would the color of Jesus’ skin do with anything of our faith?
Not white.
Any of the others are pretty possible. I sort of picture the bronze-skin in my head but most movies like to go with white or olive. I’m okay with olive. White is just an irresponsible portrayal.
I say bronze–but a tad darker, with curlier hair than normally portrayed.
As for movies? Looks like modern Jewish to me.
Yes, I agree though: he was middle-eastern, not black or white. Maybe Jewish, but he would probably–but I’m just speculating here–closer to Kurdish or Egyptian, whatever that may be.
Somewhere between purple and orange?
In reality, Jesus is a Jew, so he isn’t black.
But when it comes to faith, Jesus’ color may be anything (black, caucasian, asian, etc)
I always think of him as white, but, I guess he doesn’t really have a color when he is up in heaven. When he comes to earth again, I think he will appear whatever color God chooses, maybe something crazy like pink, purple, or blue.
Who knows, religion confuses me.
looks like a Hebrew
bronzed-black
I just always pictured him as tan… Not black, but certainly not the blue eyed Jesus you see in some paintings.
He didn’t stand out from the crowd (He had no form that we should esteem him).
He probably looked pretty ordinary and middle eastern jewish.
probably like all the other Hebrew people of the day: Dark, olive complexion.
technically speaking though, all that is irrelevant.
I think he looks a lot like Jim Caviezel.
i’d go with olive skin – jewish from the middle east. it’d make sense …
olive skin
Jesus was of arabesque desent, so he would look the part, but I think its contrary to what is important in concerns with His message and his teachings.
Michael
olive. he was jewish!
Jesus was a Jew. If they’re black, which I’m pretty sure they’re not, then yes, Jesus was black. But, since I’m pretty definetly sure most Jews aren’t black, then no, Jesus was not black.
Who da fuck gives a mother fuck. I’m sick and tired of hearing about fuckin’ Jesus.
Jesus is HEBREW!!! not black…not white…
geez people, look at your history!!!
Jesus was a Jewish man. So that picture you have at the bottom from Popular Mechanics would be an accurate representation of what Jesus looked like. For those who are interested in that Popular Mechanics photo read the article at the following website. http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/research/1282186.html
“Who da fuck gives a mother fuck. I’m sick and tired of hearing about fuckin’ Jesus.”
-deflate
Amen
considering where he was from, I’d say like the last picture
I would assume he looked something like a bronzish/olive. He was from the middle east after all.
Jesus was a purple people eater.
whatever color a Middle-Eastern person is/was at the time. But hey, He may have been atypical. You never know.
RED & YELLOW, BLACK & WHITE THEY ARE PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT…HE WAS ALL COLORS…
Let’s think about this long and hard. Let’s pull out our maps and look at the land. At the people who inhabit it. Yup… I’m gonna go with… Jesus was Arab.
Olive, just like every other Jewish person.
I think he’s black.
Ah say Jezus wuz whate.
Git ir dun.
Jesus was Olive skin of color, but he acted like a black man.
It really doesn’t matter…It doesn’t make Him any less human.
well he was Jewish…
i say olive colored.
Hi Dan….
I think of Jesus as a gorgeous blonde with a goatee….
Candy
Does it matter what color his skin was? Does it matter what color any of our skin is? It’s not the color, it’s the person…
Leave
Bronze
like any other jew. white but on the darker side.
The Mormons say he was a red man, Native American. At least I think they do; I can’t made heads or tails of that shitball religion.
It doesn’t matter. What was the skin color of most Jewish people in that region at that time?
probably darker than most westerners think he is
I think Jesus was a black woman.
I dont know. But agreeing with “OHSNAP_ItsAriCakes” and “collision_kiss” , it really doesnt matter what the color of his skin was. he’s known for his actions, not what he looked like.
considering he was from the middle east, he probobly looked like someone from the middle east..
Midlde Eastern. Bronze skin.
Bronze? Middle-eastern-ish?
probably looked jewish? what ever color they are.?
j
I think he would be created in our own image or as we see him. So if you passed him on the street you might not even notice him. So I think you would see him in whatever color you believed him to be.
So how is that to answer without answering? Dan, what color do you think he is?
Middle-Eastern. But really, it shouldn’t matter. It does make me laugh when I see Mary as a white skinned, blushy-cheeked woman.
Some of these comments are funnnnnnnyyyyyy.
I WISH Jesus looked like Jim Caviziel (sp). Damn, that man is hawt. I’d totally fuck Jesus if he looked like Jim Caviziel. No wonder people cry out “Jesus Christ!” when they’re having an orgasm.
At the very, very least, he would’ve had olive skin. I think he was probably darker though, maybe like the last guy. You gotta remember he spent 18 years as a carpenter before he began his ministry, so he probably spent some good time in the sun.
I don’t think he was black, but if I find out in heaven that he really was, then I won’t be disappointed. HOWEVER, I definitely don’t think he was white, unlike every Bible story book and flanelgram I’ve ever seen.
Jesus was a jew so it doesn’t take a rocket scentist to figure out the color of his skin
and besides it doens’t matter what color he was he is awesome and died and rose for all.
dangit I need to spell better heheheh
Middle Eastern or Black.
Well, the way I see it,
since he was born to one Jew,
he probably looked a bit more middle eastern than anything else.
I think Jesus is whatever color you want him to be!
It doesn’t matter what color his skin is as long as he’s hot.
greyish-white …
Olive Complexion
The bible says that Jesus didn’t look different from the people around him, so I think he must look like the man in the last picture. I’m not a Christian, it’s just what I heard.
Well, lets see he was jewish, so what do jewish people look like????
who cares? it’s a matter of beliefs.
but still, i’m not christian i think it would be TAN.
olive skinned
Most likely, olive. I am reminded though that He was from the line of David. It is said of David that he had a “ruddy complexion” meaning reddish hair/lighter skinned. Who knows. We know that Zipporah (Moses’ wife was very dark-skinned). I think it will be interesting to find out later on.
I’m pretty sure he resembles Cookie Monster.
Well, odds are best that he’s olive skinned, like other Hebrews. His dad decended from Hebrews, and so did his mom. SO, the most probable answer is that he was olive skinned.
Jesus was neither white nor black…. He was jewish for crying out loud! What does that tell ya?
Middle Eastern or Arab
Well, he was half-Hebrew, half-God by parentage, and fully both himself. So I guess his human form looked pretty Hebrew. I wonder what color is God?
The ONLY thing that matters is that He died on the cross for our sins!
pink.
who knows…i dont think He was white…but yeah
last one, but a little darker
He definitely looked like that last picture.
Why is everyone saying it doesn’t matter? That’s not what this post is about. It’s interesting to think about what He might have looked like, especially when you’re picturing Him as written in the Bible.
Whatever Middle-Eastern is, fairly dark. I tend to think of Him along the lines of the Jim Caviezal (Jesus McDreamy) Jesus, 2nd set of pictures on the right. I really doubt He had blue/green eyes, but hey, maybe He did.
I don’t think it matters. If you can relate better to a black or olive or blue Jesus, I don’t think he would have any trouble with you picturing Him as such.
Does it really matter? I don’t care if he was blue with purple polka-dots. The man and his message are what’s important.
I dont know why this is even an issue.
Jesus color just doesn’t matter………Jesus is alright me…………
he was from the middle east. he looked palestinean, which i know angers a lot of people now because who wants to think of Jesus Christ looking like a terrorist? but its the way it is.
He would have been middle eastern in looks. silly question if you ask me
He looked the same as every other typical Hebrew back then.
+ jessica +
God chose a Jewish virgin girl to be Jesus’s mother, so the real question is…….what did Mary look like? Jesus would have resembled his mother.
He was Jewish so olive skin
It doesn’t really matter what color skin Jesus had. It didn’t change the fact that He was who He was.
Oh, and why in all the films (well, a lot of them anyway) is Jesus British? Explain that!
Rainbow colors…What a crazy question.
It doesn`t matter. Who would really know?
Olive or bronze. Of course, I was brought up to believe he was white, but, uh, that just seems…unlikely, at best.
when i was little i imagined him white, now whenever someone mentions it i think of him with olive skin
he looked like every other hebrew man
He’s definitely asian.
Not that the color of Jesus matters, but he was probably “bronze” or olive-skinned.
He was Jewish. Honestly, it really doesn’t matter what he looked like, but we know he was born to Jewish parents so I guess he looked like a Jew.
He was Jewish! He didn’t come from Africa. All you have to do is read his lineage in Matthew chapter 1.
~*RoXy*~
middle eastern
what if he was
oriental !?
He was probably darker toned in skin colour, bronzed or olive as you call it. Yet I’m so used to pictures of him in my Christmas books that I imagine him as white in my head.
hm….this is a tough one. they do say jesus was a jew so then he probably is light skinned. if not then maybe he has some color to his skin.
i don’t know. to me skin color doesn’t matter.
Color doesn’t matter to me.. I am just glad he saved me
Middle Eastern.
Jesus is the color of AWESOME.
I always laugh when I see a blond haired blue eyed Jesus…
If you were African Jesus appeared to you as African. If you were white Jesus appeared to you as white. And so forth.
who the heck cares
rainbow
He was Jewish! He wasn’t black OR white. And really, does it matter? Jesus was who he was and accomplished the things he did because he was the Messiah, not because of the color of his skin. This is one of those issues we really debate to death.
[ariana]
He was Jewish, so he was a light olive color.
Olive skin. He was Jewish.
olive-bronzey
olive skined but probably had a dark tan
Olive I think.
Bronze skinned.
He was a Jew, which means he was whitish; there might have been some intermixing in his bloodline with some arabs, so that’s a factor; he was a carpenter, or at least some sort of craftsman, so he more than likely worked outside a whole lot (no motors=no fans=only ventilation is wind).
Homeboy’s going to be whitish with a serious tan.
one, it doesn’t really matter (and as He was Jewish there is pretty much no chance He was from Nigeria)
I would guess He was dark skinned…i don’t know
Jesus was a Jew.
What really matters is whether we’ll see him in the hereafter, and if he’s a part of our lives now.
But for the record, Jesus the man most definitely wasn’t white, and he probably wasn’t black either… I think maybe the bronze skinned man is the closest to what Jesus the man probably looked like. I believe that last image was compiled using anthropological and historical evidence.
And – just because he was Jewish doesn’t mean he had white or even olive skin. Middle Eastern Jews back then did not necessarily look like European/Israeli Jews of today. Not even today do all Jews look alike. There are black Jews and darkskinned Jews.
Does not matter. Jesus came to preach the Gospel to EVERYONE, no matter what color they were and he was. It’s irrelevant.
Does it really matter?
olive
thrid….~
black
Does it matter? I don’t think it matters what color his skin is, and frankly I don’t worry about it. We should be thankful for what he did for us and not worry about what he looked like or what his color of skin was.
yellow with pink stripes. and a huge red L on his forehead.
More likely than not, he was black or dark skinned, a dark olive. But I st ill see him as kind of white. I guess it’s kind of a personal choice as to how you see him. Black people may see him as black, white may see him as white. I figure as long as we look to worship the same man, what does it matter the color of His skin?
Burple. It’s kind of a mix between blue and purple. Ah, the things I’ve learned from Pimp My Ride…
he was jewish!!! Probably a mix between jewish features and maybe a little bit of Greek.
very middle eastern. deffinately bronze, maybe even a little darker.
The Bible says that his skin was the color of mud.
Given the geographical location of the Holy Lands and all that hoop-lah he probably looks like what modern-day Americans would call a terrorist.
Isn’t that something to think about…
bronzish.. he lived in the middle-east.
I imagine Jesus was very dark skinned. Maybe black. There are black Jews. Wouldn’t that be so cool if you get to Heaven and there’s God and He’s black and He has a beautiful huge fro. Now that would bring a smile to my face.
Olive to brown skinned
Does it matter? He was probably the same color as most middle eastern people. But has no bearing on anything.
i agree with the people who said he probably looked a lot like osama bin laden.
What matters is that he sacrificed himself for you so that you might be reconciled to Him. Jesus loves you no matter what, even if you couldn’t care less about him. That is the greatest love ever.
He must’ve looked Jewish or Arabic.
that all depends on your politics

According to the people of that region, he was most likely a dark tanned man.
RAINBOW!!!! HE WAS A RAINBOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I think Jesus is the color that a middle eastern man would be .. think about it … he was born in the middle east .. therefore dont you think he should look like one?!!?
I always just say that Jesus looked like a guy they would cavity search in the airport.
Mid-eastern
Um, I’m guessing he looked JEWISH!
probably olive/bronze because of where he was from… duh…
WHITE because he was a JEW!!!!!! how idiotic can people get!!! gosh!
He was a mix of every color and race on the planet. That would be cute, man. Uber cute. Would get rid of lots of arguments too.
Haha funny story that only has a little to do with this…
When my sister was little (back in the 80′s) my parents took her to a mall and there were two santas, one white, and one black, and there were lines coming from each with the correct races. So my family, who’s paler than anything, went to the black line. How cute? Haha, I love this family.
He was born in an area of the world where people are olive skinned. Thus, I think he’s kinda olivish
i think he had olive skin
hes all; black white and gray.. i would image Jesus could change the color of his skin. i mean hes fracking Jesus. he could be purple if he wanted to.
Middle Eastern-ish, probably.
whoever thinks it actually matters mut be racist
Probably dark tan. That’s my best guess.
well..like olive or bronze
he’s middle-eastern so that means he has the skin color of a middle-eastern(people should read the bible) it makes it easier to imagine his skincolor
Olive. Or olive bronzy.
Who cares.
A girl and a guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road on a motorcycle
Girl Slow down I’m scared
Guy No this is fun
Girl No it’s notPlease it’s too scary
GuyThen tell me you love me
GirlFine I love you Slow down
Guy Now give me a BIG hugGirl hugs him
Guy Can you take my helmet off and put it on yourself?
In the paper the next day A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure Two people were on it but only 1 had survived
The truth was that halfway down the road the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn’t want to let the girl know he had her say she loved him and felt her hug one last time, and then he had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die If u love any one this muchlet them knowbefore it’s too late I love you 4 ever .and always 2 the endi cant live without yabcuz ur my friend Send this to 10 ppl in the next 5 minandu will get kissed on Friday by someone cute
Probably the same color as the other people from his region at that time, although I’m not really into anthropology, so I’m not sure if that means more African characteristics or what we now see as Middle Eastern. I seriously doubt he was blue-eyed and porcelain-faced, however.
Overall, it doesn’t (shouldn’t) matter.
i think he had olive-ish skin. i mean, he was jewish.
Who cares?
i believe he was olive colored
The fact that Jesus did exist is profound.
Whatever color your average Jewish person was at the time.
he was middle-eastern.
not white as oh-so-many white people make him out to be.
Olive or bronze skinned. Probably not black. Definately NOT a white American.
jesus was a brothah, ya’ll.
shutcho mouths and open yo minds.
“What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us?” Jesus could use some botox.
Jesus doesn’t exist.
-KrIsTiN-
Why does nobody think he’s Asian?? BASTARDS!! haha. J/K. Why does it matter anyway. It doesn’t make him different. I doubt that if Jesus is black he’d speak in Ebonics. I honestly think he is olivey bronzey. I bet he has a big schnoz too. And black curly hair. I mean honestly, he’s jewish. come on now. I bet he’s really good with his finances.
It was thought that he was wanabe-fair: It was said he was rudy.
…and you call this Theologians Cafe?
He could’ve been black, but I think evidence shows that most likely he was olive skinned. He could’ve had blue eyes, as I’ve seen many Jews from that region with olive skin and blue eyes…but definitely I believe he looks more like the olive-skinned Jews than any other.
He would have looked like any other man from that area.
Honestly, I don’t think that it matters, but I’ll say that the color of Jesus is the color of Jesus.
if he was Jesus and he was the Son of God, than he was perfect, and no human knows what perfection looks like,,,
so it doesnt matter, all that matters is that He existed.
thank you Jesus!
Olive-ish. And I don’t agree with the girl above me, Jesus was not just a man “like everybody else”. Being God’s son makes him world’s different.
Well, not the person right above me, but that one girl who said it……you know what I mean.
who?
Who cares, He was and is, it doesn’t matter what color he is^_^
“There are those who think that Jesus was part of a tribe that migrated from Nigeria.” A NIGERIAN JESUS??? I’m Nigerian-American, and I’ve honestly never heard that! WOW! That’s quite intriguing.
Frankly I think Jesus was definitely dark…er. Not white, anyway. He may not have been as dark as I am, but I don’t think he was as light as we typically see him portrayed. I guess “olive”, as others have been saying, works well. I’d like to think he was black though.
But, as others have also said, it really doesn’t matter.
More bronze; from the Middle East
JESUS was rainbow `=)
I am going to ditto collision kiss here. What does the skin-tone matter?
he looked middle eastern. why are people even debating this? it’s so stupid. he lived in israel. his parent’s were direct descendents of a former king of israel. what do you think he looked like?
missing the point. the point is that it doesn’t matter. its good that we don’t know for sure.
He sure wasn’t black! I’d say he looked like most other guys in his area.
I think an olive bronzed, but I don’t think it would matter the color of his skin, people will still think whatever they want.
He was Jewish… so he would’ve had features that a Jewish person has… which is olive-ish skin… dark hair… dark eyes… but I don’t think he would’ve had long hair like most paintings depict him to have… around that time period, the ‘caeser cut’ (or however you spell it) was in ‘style’… so his hair was probably shorter like the picture you have of the bronze-ish Jesus…
Purple!
…Does it really matter?
wait for it, waaaiiit for iiiiit…. “the color of water”!!!
I think his color is irrelavent and it doesn’t even occur to me to think about that. What matters is His purpose and what He stands for……and that we accept Him as our personal saviour.
Jesus could be any color nobody really knows and there is no way to ever know at least while we are living
darker than how he usually is portrayed.
Jesus was rainbow colored. Duh.
According to The Autobiography of Malcolm X, he was a colored man. In all the movies I’ve seen, Jesus is portrayed by black actors, so I’m going to guess he’s black.
So… a black Jew being the idol of men who enslaved Africans and the men who committed the largest genocide of history. Bravo.
Jesus is not black. He was not white either.
I’m guessing from that time, he was a olive color.
<3
But the picture second to last, the person there has gorgeous eyes.
white
Olive? So Greenish/Yellow?
LOL — Anyways he was not English white – that’s for sure. He was something else. The people of Israel had moved around so much and plus Jesus spent his childhood in Egypt didn’t he? He would definitely be much darker than your average “white guy”.
whatever color jews are.
Anything you reply interferes with my mentality, I suppose therefore
