Two-thirds of the people from the “key professions” missed the following question:

A few people had asked for an update on the whole “guy has sex with a dead deer case.” A guy had sex with a dead deer and his lawyer was trying to get the case dismissed. The lawyer was arguing against it because he said the deer wasn’t harmed because he was a dead deer.
The judge ruled the law’s “primary focus is on human behavior and on protecting sexual morality in the community, and not necessarily on animal protection.” Here is the link: Link
So a judge is acknowledging that you can legislate morality. I hear people say all the time that “you can’t legislate morality.” They will say “what a person does in the privacy of his own home is his own business.” “As long as no one is hurt, what difference does it make?”
And yet we will let a judge do it with this case because the man had sex with a dead deer.

The comment was from Viccieanne. Here is a part of her comment:
“I am in the minority…I see nothing wrong with him going to a strip club…a lot of people seem to be equating seeing a stripper as sleeping with her too…that isn’t true
Plus, I am still under the philosophy that there is no way that you are only ever going to be attracted to just your partner….and there is nothing wrong with a man looking,,,,as long as he is just looking…”

I want to bring attention to part of a comment by Benjimon76 from my last post:
“You know, I was reading aim.com’s banner from people magazine’s sexiest men alive tonight, I was flabbergasted. Most of the sexiest men alive are in their 40s. The rest are 35 and up! When did it become so sexy to be old?”
It is funny that he mentions this because my wife was talking about an article on the same subject this morning. There was an article about basically the same issue in the Houston Chronicle this morning concerning women.

Surgical castration has been suggested for sexual offenders. There are examples where this has been tried in Scandinavian and European countries for child molesters and rapist and other sexual offenders. In some of these cases, the criminal is given less jail time for their punishment because of the castration.
Is castration a realistic option in dealing with sex offenders?
