Xanga is love
Xanga is, first and foremost, a collection of weblogs. It’s a place to vent, to complain, to moan and whine and bitch about whatever is going on in your life. It is a place to gush about your new boyfriend or girlfriend or talk about a new love interest. It is a way to keep up with your friends’ everyday lives. It keeps oyu connected with people you know but may nto necessarily see very often. Xanga is a blog first, and a network second.

Its a place where you can be totally yourself and outspoken about your beliefs or it is a place where you can be someone else – the person you want to be in real life.

It’s a place where desperately insecure people go to seek reassurance. Oh, and some do it just for fun.
an internet site (not a place) where i put some of my innermost thoughts, be they disguised in song lyrics, fancy wording, or as blatant as a midsummer’s day sun- they’re there.
it’s a site for people like me, who want to spill their guts- not to people they know who can bash them and judge them and confront them- but to complete strangers- people who can empathize with them, or merely tell them that what they wrote had some sort of impact on their life.
there is no privacy. there is no intimate relationship. but there is no risk of rejection.

Xanga is my fix, my journal, my soapbox. It is my connection to people I already know and people I’m meeting. It is another facet of my identity. It is a little bit of self-expression mixed with a “community thoughts” kind of mindset. It is The Ultimate Peanut Gallery.
I love Xanga. Almost enough to pay for it, hehehe

I see xanga as being a medium through which I can post my daily thoughts and opinions on stuff that matters–not just to me, but–to many people of varied backgrounds. I like to keep a semblence of a “journal” as well, for future reference when I want to remember what I was doing on such-and-such a date, two-thousand-and-something.

I consider xanga to be a blog, the other bloging mediums are hard to use, so I use this.
Xanga is “good” to My Space’s “evil”^_^ Xanga is “Obiwan” and My Space is “Darth”(lol, Darth is such an”emo” sounding name)

That definition sounds right for journal sites like mine where i just talk about what’s happening for hte sake of my friends. Eprop-whores where the posts are designed for maximum comments are left out.
