I See Dead People
The house that police believe Laci Peterson was murdered in by her husband Scott Peterson has been sold.
The house was sold for almost $350,000 to a couple. Here is the link: Link
Would you want to live in a house that someone has been murdered in?

Gosh no!!!
Absolutely not!! At least, I wouldn’t want to know about it!
nope
As long as there was no evidence to the murder left. (aka, strange stains, gun powder streaks, knife gouges in the wall, bullet holes in the wall, weird smells etc.)
Hell yeah.
Definitely no
It wouldn’t bother me. Neither the victim or perpetrator are there any longer.
why not, the dead are gone, they can’t bother you.
It wouldn’t bother me as long as there was no blood on the walls or carpet and I’m sure they got rid of it before putting the house on the market.
Besides, it’s a house with history!
For all you know, you could have built your house on top of an ancient grave yard.
What’s so wrong with living in a house where a murder occurred?
Hell yeah!
Either the value of the house will go up or down…but who cares?
Living with a connction to a murder case would be spine chilling wicked.
Hell no. I don’t like anything like that… it’s too foreboding.
no way…that is creepy in a sick way…i like creepy otherwise~*
I read the first few chapters of the Antiville Horror.
After that little read, no!
no.
i believe in ghosts too much for my own good.
No… I’m already paranoid enough about getting murdered in my house as it is.
Maybe!
That house does not look like it is worth $350,000 murder or no murder.
oh, no way.
It depends on how you look at it.

no…
why not?
wouldn’t bother me…i think…
I don’t think I’d be comfortable there. But it would be an interesting fact to mention at parties.
yeah, why not
NEVER.
By the way…that’s definately Jesus in the corner.
I actually have lived in a house someone was murdered in.
Though not such a widly publicized murder.
Never.
I have to take that back. A google search reveals that the story ran in the New York Times:

NO
i wouldn’t. i dont think it would be haunted or anything. i dont think i could handle knowing it though.
no >.<
Ew, no!
I’ve always wanted to see a phantom fetus.
if she was hot . . .
meh doesn’t really bother me as long as there is no visible blood/ickiness
mmm not really. i could though.
No, I don’t even like living in houses where previous people have lived.
Nope.
at first thought…no–but in thinking about it…i wouldn’t mind as long as i didn’t have to seen anything from the incident
Not a murder as public as that, just cause I think it would be too far gone in the creepy department. But as long as it awsn’t national news for like a century, I don’t really think I would care.
oh..my son corrected me with laughter…i meant *see*
Wow! That’s expensive!
The old lady who owned our old house died going down the basement stairs and she lived alone so who knows how long she laid there. It creeped me out. Everytime I walked down the basement stairs it felt like someone was behind me about to push me…nope, couldn’t do it.
heck no
it’d freak me out a little bit
NO WAY THATS SOO WEIRD!!!
lyssa, the yellow one
Sure, if I liked the house (and assuming there would be no lingering bloodstains, killers returning to revenge against those who had taken their house, etc.)
HECK NO.
it shouldn’t, but knowing me, it would. i have a wild imagination…
I originally agreed with momofjenmatt who said that house doesn’t look like it’s worth 350K, but then I got to thinking… you know, that’s a pair of palm trees in the front yard and those aren’t indigenous to where I’m from, therefore the house is probably in a more desirable area. Hence the inflated value.
no.
I would not like it, but our current house had a child die in it.
I must admit, even though it’s superstitious, that i’d be rather disconcerted.
ehhh….. no! Scary.
There’s nothing wrong with it, but I personally wouldn’t.
no, im way too paranoid!
Then no one must not want to live at the old WB studio!
no way. noooooo way. and i’m not talking about like, haunting. a house like that is just full of evil. like… chi or something. bad energy, you dig?
Why not?
make a friend!
-Jacob
I don’t know. I don’t think it would bother me.
I don’t think it would make any difference to me.
L,r
If it meant it was cheaper, sure. If it drove the price up, no.
Well I have a few stories of my own but I hate to talk about it. Or even think about it. I used to live in a house where someone had commited suicide in, before my family moved in. From my experience– the answer would be NO.
I wouldn’t care. I’ve done so before (living in a house people had died in).
Everyone saying “no” is giving me a chuckle. The Grudge was not a documentary, people. Sheesh.
no no no no no no!!!
It’s probably because of the ghost tours I took in Savannah… They creeped me out! I can barely sleep at night now. Does anyone else believe in ghosts?
No!
not really.
no.
that would be a bit creepy.
Yes Dan I would. I wouldn’t have paid that price for that house though.
Candy
My neighbors live in a house where someone was murdered. The guy didn’t believe in banks, so he had all his money in his bedroom, and a robber came to his house, shot him in his bedroom, and took all his money. It’s now a kitchen and my neighbors think it’s kinda cool.
So no, I probably wouldn’t mind living where someone was murdered.
no way, yeesh
i don’t think i would even want to step foot in that house. much less live in it. that would totally creep me out
Umm no…
I would only if it were a bargain and I had something personal of theirs beyond the house to ward off the evil spirits………Blessed Be
I’ve lived in a place where someone was murdered before we moved in. It was a little freaky to find that out, but we were all ok with it otherwise.
I think not. It would just creep me out too much. I sure wouldn’t pay that much for a conversation piece either.
Noooooo. Heck, the Amish had the right idea in tearing down the little school where all those youngsters were shot.
hell no
Sure, especially if I could get a better price on it because of the history. Not a problem at ALL.
No way if I knew about it before hand, if I found out after I bought well then I guess I’d stay… unless there were angry spirits there too
I would have it consecrated before I moved in. I would want God’s blessing on any house I moved into.
As for the outside, I would immediately change the looks so that people could not recognize it right away.
I would just look at the house.
I’m think along the lines of Amityville Horror or The Grudge… creepy man for all they know there could be a torture chamber for Indians in their basement O_O Or a small child who sounds like a cat hiding in the attic
It wouldn’t bother me. But I would want to know it’s history.
No Way!!!
not really, i mean it would be kind of odd i’d think ughhh yeah i definatly think i wouldn’t like it
It’s not a plus, but it isn’t a sale-killer.
no. and i definitely wouldn’t want to buy it as a couple. what if my hubby turned psycho while i was pregnant? call me superstitious but no thanks.
I don’t believe in ghosts, but I think it would still bother me.
Would I necessarily LIKE it..? No.. However, I don’t think it would be the deciding factor of whether or not I would buy the house.
Just because my house now(as far as I know) doesn’t hold some big story from the media, doesn’t mean that something like that didn’t happen in my house or something just as bad…Houses are pieces of history, and unfortantely, history holds bad stuff.. It’s hard to escape it.
Yes. Ooohhh yes. I think that would be cool, like owning a part of history.
No.
I wouldn’t mind at all. o__o It’s not like the murderer is still there.
uh let me think…. no.
no reason not to.
350,000 is pretty cheap… but i’m not sure about knowing that someone got murdered there. that’s pretty creepy.
I’d be so freaking scared/paranoid. No!
Not really.
Hell no! Creepy.
Sure. Wouldn’t bother me.
No way! Yikes!
no wayyy. my cousin has a girlfriend who’s grandparents still live the house where their daughter commited suicide. it would give me the creeps to go anywhere near that house.
eh. not a famous murder like that. otherwise, whatever.
Umm, ghosts? No
nope.
i have a chair in my house that supossedly someone in my familt died in a long time ago. it’s kind of creepy.
I wouldn’t care if it were cheaper…
Wouldn’t bother me in the least. No need for superstition.
NO,NO,NO….it would creep me out!
Not particularly but I guess I would if the price was right.
no. that’s way too amityville horror for me.
> Eh, why not? Maybe I get to play ghost-whisperer?!… Who knows? Not my concern…. If I like the house, we’ll deal with it!
Peace
My boss’ friend lives in the house of the first BTK killings.
I think it would be interesting, plus it would spark great conversation.
As long as all the mess was cleaned up and nothing was out of line, sure.
dont know, I could probably move past it, but a high profile murder might be different.
No. But you never know, right?
Umm no.
no, I don’t think I could live with myself. I mean…somebody died, in that house. That would just kind of be freaky.
No way!
No…it’s just weird.
If it’s nice in-and-out.
Not for $350,000, no.
I wouldn’t care.
If it was a nice house in a nice neighborhood…sure, why not?
I really wouldn’t care less if someone was murdered, died, born, raped, shot, stabbed, ect. If you get bad vibes off of it, cleanse it or what ever. Have a priest come sprinkle holy water on it.
No, I think I could find something else, UNLESS I wanted to make it into a haunted house for gullible people.
fuck no. It’s haunted.
well its just a house..more interesting is who is going to get the money Scott?
Trent Reznor turned Sharon Tate’s house into a recording studio.
hell no
Omg……….nice comment, royalimpactcutie, lol. But anyways, I would probably live in the house if nobody had told me that someone was murdered in it. Especially that house. That’s a nice house! Lol.
-KrIsTiN-
I followed the whole story from beginning to end and have even read the Laci books (the good ones).
I don’t believe they ever came to that conclusion, that Laci was murdered there. Still, many believe that she was indeed murdered there. Who knows…i wouldnt want to live there, but there hasn’t been any word of any strange occurences.
No. Stigmatized property!
NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh gosh. Talk about eepy! (a kind of hopeless, gray, creepiness that horror movies so often try to instill upon their viewers with sad endings) It would just be such a sad place to live in. It would make me think of murders and death.
ew hell no, it’s all I’d think about, it would creep me out.
probably not, because it would be strange; though i wouldn’t really care if forced to live there.
I would have no problems with it.
I once lived in a house where someone committed suicide in once. Does that count?
