Gay Sheep Part 2
I got scammed by PETA. You remember the whole story I linked about the gay sheep? It was all false. Here was the original story: Link
The story was about how researchers were trying to change the sexual orientation of sheep so that they could reproduce and be more productive.
Apparently it was all a lie from PETA. They were running a campaign against a research organization in order to stop them from using animals. Here is the link: Link I originally posted about the issue on December 31, 2006. Some of you were skeptical of the story. I feel disillusioned.

When we thought the story was true alot of people were saying that it was possible because we dont choose to be gay, if you are gay its because you were born gay…since the sheep weren’t gay does that mean that we choose to be gay or straight?

I claim no political party as my own. The listing of problems I have with PETA is so long Dan could have a whole new post just on that. XD As I said, research them and you will see. I adore animal rescue organizations. I do not adore organizations who employ people with a record for bombing animal testing laboratories. I also do not adore organizations who do not believe people should own pets, and that ALL domesticated animals should be turned loose because god forbid I MIGHT be exploiting my dogs and cats by owning them and allowing them their lives in my home. Ok…see I am going to stop before I really get going. PETA = crap. ASPCA and your local Humane Society deserve your support! Give it to them!

PETA…really not a huge fan and this doesn’t surprise me. I’m with Momentkeeper–donate to the local ASPCA or Humane Society.
PETA are a bunch of hypocrits they use medicine tested on animals. If we didn’t use animal testing a lot of medical research would go down the drain. I mean, what else are we suppose to use? Test human lifes? I’m sorry but a human life is worth more than the life of a rat in my opinion.

What is PETA really doing to help the animals other than just trying to ‘free’ them. Without animal research, a bunch of us would be dead. Why don’t they volunteer themselves to be tested to save the animals? People should help out at a local shelter or donating to the vet or something. Thats saving the animals

I lost all respect for PETA after they wrote letters to Palestinian militants protesting that the Palestinians had strapped bombs to a donkey and detonated it in a crowded marketplace.

What the fuck, PETA…I understand they want to further their cause but getting your lies published is that very thing that can lead the press industry to the slippery slope, and nothing in the papers will be researched.
Secondly, the moral principles of PETA just don’t make sense (seeing that morality is a tool for survival for the human race). What PETA is suggesting is right up there with voluntary extinction. Which, interestingly enough, is a legit organization.
