  • Bill Clinton

I was reading an article on examiner.com of the desire of some Democrats to have Bill Clinton serve out his wife’s term if Hillary is elected President.

Could Bill Clinton take over his wife’s Senate seat if he becomes the first first husband^! Some think so.

In New York, the Governor will appoint the person to fulfill Hillary’s term if she is elected President.  The Governor of New York is a Democrat.  So it is possible that the Governor would appoint Bill Clinton.  Here is the link:  Link

If Hillary is elected president, would you like to see Bill serve out her term in the Senate?

  • AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHh

I don’t want to think about Clintons in the whitehouse again!

  • Please, one Clinton at a time.

  • YES THAT WOULD BE SO CUTE!!!!!!!

  • haha. sure!

  • Are we ever going to get rid of the Clintons?

  • Sure, I can’t get enough of the Clinton’s, I want a tv channel devoted to the Clinton’s, I mean I want 24/7 Coverage……….yeah and I want a hole in my head too.

  • It’d be cool if Chelsey did though, or their cat boots or was it socks?

  • And bill and hillary clin-ton should be on all our stamps and currency too!

  • I had enough crying for one morning….I have peeled and sliced onions since 6AM…next question?

  • My word, NO. How awful!

  • YES! Go Hillary!

  • What’s so bad about them?

  • Please, one Clinton at a time.

  • As long as I think that they are all idiots and politicians are destroying our world, I don’t have an opinion really. That and the fact that I have no idea of the effects Bill Clinton would have on America as a Senate member.

  • That might be interesting.

  • Hell to the NO.

RYC: yes I remember you were out in the Katy area recently! :)    You guys would love The Woodlands. Y’all oughta come up for a visit, shopping and dining. It’s nice out here!

  • No.
But it makes sense that he would be appointed.

  • i had a dream that all these people were hacking into your account and changing your layout…

  • Ugh.  Why won’t these people just go away already?

  • I won’t really care, because if Hillary’s elected, I’m moving out of the country.

  • lol Soultender, I like your thinking.  But then again… why not put Hillary in office, that way the Terrorists can get her? ooh… I better keep my mouth shut. *slaps mouth* Im so mean.

  • (and I mean, they REALLY would try to get her, they HATE it when WOMEN lead!!!!)

  • Sure, why not? We like Hillary and Bill here in NYS, which is where the hypo would be taking place anyway. Bill has already shown himself to be good at what he does, so sure, I’d be fine with it.

  • Was I really first? Oh my. :D

  • NO MORE CLINTONS PLZ!!!

  • Uhm. I dont know. Its not a huge deal, but I’d rather these “political dynasties” not happen…

  • I think it would be well.

  • Hmmm…. Bill Clinton… NO. I would like to see him go away. FAR Away. As for Hilary- Why she is still wasting her time with him, I have no idea. He gave her biblical reason (among others) for divorce… and, their kid is an adult… Any woman who would keep a man like him around after all the crap he did ought to be bitch-slapped to the ground. Maybe she likes his cigars, too.

       OH YEAH….She’s real smart.

  • Golly… that wasnt very “Christian” of me.  Sorry.

    lol

  • Sure, why not? I mean, he was a decent president. No reason he can’t be a senator.

  • I love Bill. Why not?

  • the thought of Hillary being President is TOO scary. I don’t even want to think of Bill finishing her term in senate.
Would they let any other spouse of a President-elect finish a Senate term? Nope.

  • Eh.  I don’t like Mr. Clinton’s politics or his definition of “is”, but at least he wouldn’t be MY senator.  :)

  • Someone please answer me this question: Why is there so much hatred towards Hillary? She’s actually somewhat conservative. Please, I’d really like to know.

  • Bill is fucking HILARIOUS. Put him back in the political ring.

  • “She’s actually somewhat conservative.”

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • GOOD LORD. NO!

Aaah that’s a scary thought. No more Clintons… Please. PLEEEEAAAAASE!!!!!

  • I won’t really care, because if Hillary’s elected, I’m moving out of the country.

Hahah that’s what my father says.

  • doesnt that seem like a bit too much power for one family?
not to mention one or the other could possibly influence a lot of policy from the other’s point of view

    if that made any sense…

  • I got nothing to say about American politics. Anyway, to something more important, VALENTINE’S CARD PART 2?

http://www.xanga.com/mysterious_pigeon/  Boost my friend’s self esteem!

  • I wouldn’t like that, though I’d rather have him than her (though that would mean she won).  I disagree with their political ideals (socialist-type stuff most specifically) and am not wild about their personal character/integrity (aside from the obvious, there are the very shady investment profits and whatnot).

Regardless, she’d be replaced by another liberal.  We’re talking degrees of lame.  A real win would be replacing her with a libertarian.

  • I don’t know about this.  Although I wouldn’t mind if Bill were in the senate, I think that maybe having Bill in the senate while Hillary is in the white house could cause a conflict of interest.

  • doesnt that seem like a bit too much power for one family?

Ever heard of the Bush family?

  • No, not really… I mean, giving Clinton a second chance might be NICE, but who says we’re nice?

  • *shrug* he was a good president. he did a couple bad things… but.. he’s a guy. all guys have some faults.

  • It’s not my place to say I don’t live in that state.

  • Good grief, I don’t think we need to worry. I highly doubt that Hilary is going to get anywhere near living in the White House again! *shudders*
    ~*RoXy*`

  • people being so nice to Clinton “he’s done a couple of bad things but he’s a guy and all guys have some faults” “he was a decent president” despite the fact he was impeached and cheated on his wife!!! Why are people so forgiving of Clinton and not of Bush?

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
and I’m not just saying that because I’m some closed minded republican. I’m a moderate and I really really just don’t like the Clintons.

  • Firstly, why do so many people on here hate them so much? What the hell did they do that was so bad? I don’t recall them spilling blood for oil….

Secondly, GAHH this election is irritating! My name is hillary and therefore the constant mention of my name will end up driving me mad.

  • As a New Yorker, I say A HUNDRED TIMES NO!

Good God, y’all. Arkansas, why must you torture me so? Take them back!

  • Ummm.

    Washington couldn’t tell a lie

    Clinton couldn’t tell the truth

    Reagan couldn’t tell the difference.

Who cares, really?  I mean, it’s only the Senate… not really important at all.

  • No. But she won’t get elected President. So don’t get too worried about it. The next election should be a Barack Attack!

BTW, I scored 100 percent on the Bible quote quiz. Ooh, yeah, 11 years of Lutheran schooling is good for SOMETHING!

  • Why are people so forgiving of Clinton and not of Bush? Posted 2/19/2007 10:32 AM by BeKa28

No one died when Clinton lied.

  • Washington couldn’t tell a lie ~Imworkingsoshutthehellup

True… because betraying your loyalty as a British Subject doesn’t count so yes… clean record for him.

I don’t much care about US Politics anymore, the beeb barely ever talks about what’s going on on this side of the Atlantic anymore. They’re so bloody obsessed with the Americans.

    Cheers,

    m

  • God, no.  On both counts.

  • Y’know what really funny about this?

My family totally knew that Hilary Clinton was waiting for Bush to fill his to terms and then get in to the race so she’d get elected.

  • For those who think Clinton died and made himself God… let me remind you:

The world trade center was bombed by Al Queda in 1992 – Right after Clinton took office. Just like what happened to Bush….

Clinton chose to respond by… IGNORING IT until they bombed us again. And again, and again, and again. And he still ignored it.

One can only wonder what would have happened if he had bothered to do his job instead of playing with interns.

  • No one died when Clinton lied.

    I beg to differ.

    http://www.wizardsofaz.com/waco/picturethis.html

    No one died?

  • I don’t see why not. He has experience in political office, he’s a member of the same political party, and he has the closest ties to Hilary.

  • it could be the end of american civilization as we know it. The way it’s put in my family is that men are in charge of countries for a reason, when women P.M.S. they want to blow something up…..when she pms’s she’ll actually have that abiblity!!!! start kissing those small countries goodbye.

  • No, I want him to serve as first lady. j/k.

  • I would not like Bill to serve ever again as anything.

  • If he wasn’t good enough for the Presidency, why should we expect him to do well in the Senate? He was impeached for cripes sake!

  • uhh… no.  I don’t want hillary in office either.  I’d rather vote for Barack Obama

  • I checked wikipedia for the definition of “Political Marriage” and it linked me to the Clinton’s webpage.

  • Why’d he want to go from being the President to being a Senator?  Sure the position is prestigious but why go down a notch?

Unless the senate office has some hot interns.

  • I know I should care, but I don’t.

  • Notice how she looks so healthy, and he looks like he wants to die?

That is how I would look too if I were married to her.

    “Name That Caption”

Bill (whispers): I f*****g hate you.

Hillary (whispers): Smile for the camera puppet.

  • It doesn’t really matter to me. If it happens, it happens. There’s nothing I can do about it.

  • i really don’t know that much about her…or politics…

    how’ve you been???

    *HUGS*

  • And no, Clinton wasn’t impeached, they tried but failed.  duh.

  • (shrugs)  Why not?  Lord knows she hasn’t done a damned thing for the State.

  • I think something in my head just broke.

  • “She’s actually somewhat conservative.”

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Posted 2/19/2007 9:13 AM by YourOuterCritic

Actually, in the sense she wants things to stay the same, yeah, she is. Health care and minimum wage increases are merely the bare minimum to keep workers off the streets, rioting for rights.

  • It is funny, socractic method, how Bush and Clinton both arouse such distaste in the other’s constituents.

But we all know Clinton has a much bigger penis. Look at his nose and how happy Hillary looks!

  • I certainly don’t want Hillary in the White House, LET ALONE Bill in the Senate!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?  That would be a DISASTER!!  That’s just TOOOOOO scary!

  • GAG!  Will God ever rid us of these two demons?

  • No, Rudolph Giuliani would be a better choice.

  • Well I highly doubt that it would be possible to do any worse than to have Bill in there since the only person worse would be president.

  • No

  • No one died when Clinton lied.
    Posted 2/19/2007 11:09 AM by jimmyjazz86

    *coughBosniacough*

  • sure why not!

  • people are saying that bush lied. clinton, kerry and several other politians said the exact same thing that bush did about weapons of mass destruction. if bush lied, so did they.

  • I see what is happening.  They want to keep Billy in NY while Hillary is in DC…watch out interns.

  • lol. i unno. he’s done a good enough job already. why make him keep working. poltics onyly make your hair greyer. and bill might end up transparent.

  • I think they should have an election for it, or have her appoint someone. If she appoints him; then yes, if not; then no.

    Derek

  • How about…NO.

  • That would be… odd.

    And no.

    *shudders*

  • If she’s elected President I’m moving to Canada. Oh wait, Canada’s worse.

Did you hear about the new bumper sticker they came out with? Both Republicans and Democrats can use it. It says:

    RUN HILLARY RUN!

Democrats put it on their rear bumper.

Republicans put it on their front bumper.

  • Hillary will NOT be elected President. And neither will Obama. Really. The hype is ridiculous.

  • It’s not actually a bad idea.  Anything to keep him occupied.

  • Why not? That leaves at least two competant people in our country’s government!!!

  • Ok, not the subject of discussion, but that image looks like Hillary is saying, “Touch me there one more time and I will break your hand off and shove it where the sun does not shine!”

  • If Hillary is elected president, I would like to see her hospitalized in a coma for her entire term.

I really do believe that there are a few people that are willing to shoot her if she becomes the Pres.

people can be crazy that way.

  • holy crap

  • There are many other countries who have, or have had in the past, some women leaders. I believe it’s time for the US to get off their conservative ass and realize that it’s the turn of the century.

I wouldn’t mind if Clinton became a senator =D He’s better than some of the other presidents were by far.

I love how people don’t make fun of Kennedy, even though he had an affair as well. Guys… Clinton did have an affair, but he’s not the only one. Even one of the most well liked presidents in history had one. So, get your heads out of your asses >.<

  • bill clinton can serve the rest of the term, only if doesn’t get to have any interns.

  • Heck yeah! Kinda miss ol Slick Willie.

  • no, whoever i vote for i want to be capable,  but having him there is a plus

  • I want both of them to go away.
