  • Anna Nicole Smith

The National Enquirer is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith died of a severe case of pneumonia.  Prescription drugs are believed to have made it worse.  Here is the link:  Link

After all the nasty things that were said about her, ultimately it looks like she did not die from illegal drug use.

Do you feel like you sort of owe Anna an apology?

  • I didn’t say anythign about her

  • but it’s also kinda silly to apologize to a dead person. Maybe apologizing to her family would be more effective

  • sorry aboot that

  • I didn’t say anything bad about her. I am kind of relieved that it was pneumonia and not drugs though, it will help her legacy.

  • I don’t think I have said anything bad about her death. I have only stated that I feel sorry for her child and I hope see left a will to protect her daughter.  I still stand by that statement.

  • I’ve always adored her.

    I don’t give a damn what anyone says…

  • So I wonder how much of what they say is true though.. hmph.

    I don’t believe it >_>

  • not really.
but i never said anything bad about her except that i don’t care either way.
people die every day, being a celebrity shouldn’t make your death more important.

  • Why?
I have never said anything about her and her drugness..
I have said how I feel about her in those stupid trimspa commercials though.

  • that was a GREAT commercial for my little sisters to see and immitate!! ugh

  • I never said anything about her either.

  • no. I never said anything about her death or anything, so I feel no need to apologize.

  • amen RaVnR.

i’m just surprised the national enquirer is reporting on something that might actually be factual….staying from their normal martian invasion reports, or religious doomsday articles.

  • Not me, I never said anything..

People die everyday. Sometimes its because people are stupid, sometimes it’s because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time, sometimes because it is chosen, and sometimes for no reason they can help. But they’re still dead.

I’m not into arguing and debating over HOW someone died(unless it’s a murder or something.) It seems so unsacred and disrespectful to the person.

  • It would be a little late for an apology even if it was owed ,I will save my words for prayers for her little girl .

  • I never said anything bad about her…I’ve always felt kind of bad for her.

  • I never said anything about how she died only about who I think the father of her child is and to my knowledge that has not been disproven yet so I feel no need to apologize.

I think the news networks need to apologize to their viewers for showing all of the stuff about her the past few weeks. Nobody at my school cares in the slightest about her and what happens.

  • I said nothing about her.

  • I think its just sad the way she died. Didint she see a docter a few days before she died?? Why wasent she in the hospital?

  • No, people need to calm down about Anna Nicole Smith.
    She was nothing special.

  • everyone else is saying that they didn’t say bad stuff about her, i know i personally said that she wasn’t a good person, and that she was going to be a horrible mom.  My statements don’t change because of the way she died

  • people really were disrespectful…she may have been a celebrity, but she was still human…i feel bad for her.

  • Who is this “Anna Nicile Smith” of whom you speak?

  • The Christian in me says yes, but the Jew in me is searching for a way to profit off her death.

  • That’s a pretty lame story for the National Enquirer.

  • No, cuz I never talked shit about her. I really didn’t know anything about her until she died.

  • I didn’t say anything about her, but she caused her own mania of fame to cause the gossip mongers to do it.

    ’nuff said…

  • Cry me a pond. It’s a hard world and quite a few people in it have life a little harder than she did. Survival of the fittest: if she couldn’t hack it with tens of millions in the bank then…whateva. To quote the immortal Leonidas “she was a sad clown”, my greatest sympathies are extended only in so far as to her patheticness as a person.

  • That is just the National Enquirer, not the actual med examiner. We are still waiting on the toxicology.

  • The National Enquirer???

Are we relying on this trusted news magazine?

  • She’s dead, how can you apologize to her?

  • I’m still not sure how she died…

I mean, I’m not going to trust a tabloid that also has another article on it, “NATIONAL ENQUIRER WORLD EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW Anna Nicole’s Assistant reveals: “I Saw Howard Inject Her With Drugs!”"

    -____-

But who cares, shes dead. Shees deeaadd, no one important, just some celebrity we’re forget about eventually.

  • not really. that’s like saying everyone you had an opinion about deserves an apology.

  • I do owe her one.  But it is because when her lawyers called asking me to take a paternity test I claimed I never slept with her more than once.

Sorry for the joke at your sexual expense.

  • Joke, sorry, I mean lies that I told them

  • No. I never thought it was drugs. Hearing about her dying made me very sad.

  • I have no relationship to Ms Smith whatsoever, so no, I’ve no need to say anything to her

  • sup bro!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sup bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nope, I didn’t say anything disrespectful . . .

  • ..because the good lord knows that everything said in the national enquirer is true.

  • never speak ill of the dead . . . you never know when they might show up on the evening news and haunt your every waking thought for the rest of all time as you frantcally try and remember what you said of them.

she was messed up – she had so many problems, i do feel bad for her.  but regret what i was thinking?  what we all thought?  no.  sorry.

  • hahahah, youre hilarious.

  • Not really.

  • ummm….no because she stood beligerant and some award and licked her fingers like a slut and ran it accross her boobs and said,”do ya like my body?” all tweakerish. not cool. she WAS on something there.

but yeah, it sounded more like pneumonia than drugs in the first place (mom’s a nurse, she thought so. haha.)

  • isn’t it presumptious of you to assume that we have something to apologize for?

  • Reading through the first page of comments, it seems as though many of those who shared their thoughts did not ever think that Anna had died as a result of drug use, which surprised me, because I had discussed the matter with many many people, and they had all chalked that up to be the simplest response. I do feel badly that we were all wrong, though it seems wasteful to apologize to someone who will gain nothing at all from it. Her daughter needs more prayers than Anna need apologies.

    -Claire.

  • no. i said she was crazy. not that she od’ed. and crazy still stands.

  • Thought the TrimSpa did her in. Don’t trust diet medications.

  • no, I don’t owe her anything, but she did do some good skin flicks

  • I don’t owe her one.
I just think someone needs to bury her already.
& Find a good home for her kid.

  •  > No, but then I didn’t deride her to anyone either…. I hope her estate sues the rag mags for the comments about heroin use, too…. would serve those fools right….

    Peace

  • I do kinda feel bad… she lived a “trashy” lifestyle, though. One can only assume, sadly, that she died from consequences from her lifestyle.

  • i never ever said that she died from drugs. all my friends were “blah blah drugs..” and i was like “no. i don’t think she did.”

  • I still think Howard K. Stern killed her.

  • I felt sorry for her.

  • No, because she’s still an idiot. Besides. I never even cared that much about her to say something.

  • you actually believe The National Enquirer?

  • anyways. i never thought anything bad about her. i just thought sometiimes she was a little loopy… but i always thought she was a nice person.

  • It’s her fault for earning herself the reputation of a stupid slut.

  • DEAR ANNA NICOLE SMITH:

I AM SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A PRESUMPTIVE ASSHOLE.

  • -I- never said anything bad about the woman. However, I think there are quite a few people who are feeling kind of guilty and like assholes right now. This is a typical case of “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”.

  • Yes, we owe her an appology but not because of the alleged drug abuse causing her death. The country owes her an appology for making her death such a circus and an object of gossip.

*By the way, I still don’t understand why everyone is talking about her.

  • No; I’ve never said anything about her that wasn’t true.

  • no? i didn’t assume anything like you and everyone else who is obsessed with celebrities did.

  • Not so much but thanks for asking.

  • I don’t, I owe someone else one. I kinda thought she was murdered…

  • Yeah, with 105 fever, she should have been in the hospital, not just in a hotel with a visiting nurse.  Why did they keep her out of hospital?   It’s a shame.

  • No. Do you know how often the press chalks deaths up to “accidents” or “sudden heart failure”? But PNUEMONIA? Oh please. It probably was an overdose and someone paid  alot of money to keep that private.

  • you trust the national enquirer as a source? really? sad…

  • If she wasn’t an old washed up celebrity… we wouldn’t even be talking about  her.I really hate the media sometimes. I mean.. how many posts have you done on this already? I can’t get through one hour of the evening news without hearing about this circus. GET A LIFE

  • The whole thing is really very sad… Unfortunately, it doesnt matter what really happens, because people will continue to say bad things about her- regardless of what is found to be true.

  • And why are we using The National Enquirer as a legit piece of information?

Other than that… I felt sorry for her. I feel more sorry for that baby.

  • I never, said anything bad, and the media is giving her way too much attention. I understand she was famous and it was unfortunate she passed away, but there are more important things that should be on the news.

  • The 8:00 news is becoming more and more like Extra and those other crappy shows.

  • I felt sorry for her – drug use is not an easy thing to overcome. She obviously has had problems with drugs – quite frequently appearing in public lit up - so why would we not consider that as a possibility for her death? And after her son’s death also – he did drug overdose. So, no – no apology.

  • wow now people are denying they said anything bad about her ><;; typical.

  • I will save my opinions until the official report comes out instead of a report in a gossip magazine.

  • “The National Enquirer is reporting”

Er, that right there automatically discredits the report.

  • No, she’s dead. She wouldn’t hear it anyway.

  • All those that made fun & accused her of stupid things should be ashamed

  • Mrcolorful’s comments about the media’s need to apologize for wasting the time of the viewers is probably more appropriate.

If you live a lifestyle where drugs are involved, why should you (especially as a dead person) be offended that people suspect they caused your death? [I guess she used drugs.  I didn't follow her career at all so I don't know.]

Finally, are people taking this [the pneumonia thing] as trustworthy even though it’s from The National Enquirer?  Isn’t that a grocery store tabloid that gives us the Bigfoot sightings and such?

  • Nope, ‘cuz lots of people die of pneumonia, because that’s what got them in the end, but there often are other contributing factors. My mother-in-law’s death certificate said she died of pneumonia, but it was caused by an inability to swallow which was caused by the brain surgery she had 6 weeks before.

  • The only negative thing I recall saying about her is that she was talentless.  I stand by that assessment.

What happened to her was unfortunate, but I still don’t think it’s newsworthy.

  • I can only offer her my prayers for her and  that the world guide Dannilyn to become a wonderful young woman.  I never talked bad about Anna Nicole Smith. May she rip

  • um, no – i didnt ever judge her. I still dont know if its true. Something just seems fishy. Now, take her of my TV. when i watch fox news or CNN I want new, i dont want to only hear about Anna N.Smith. News requires more than one subject!

    - Daniel (doubledb)

  • Did anyone notice that Fox News made it very clear their source of the article was the National Enquirer?

  • After watching some of the court testimony, I think everyone she was close to owes her an apology. Too bad it’s too late to make a difference.

  • Uhm, since when do we believe ANTYTHING the National Enquirer says? No applogies are necessary even if the story is true.  She was still an immoral drug addict.

  • no…..She was going to die of that anyway…

  • Until official results are released I don’t think anyone can say they know anything for sure. The National Enquirer is not exactly the most reliable source of info. Whatever the reason was for her death, she was taken too young, and appeared to be kind of a sad woman, and I hope she is at peace wherever she is.

  • Maybe if she layed off the Methedone vein candy, her immune system would have kicked in.  Dannielynn is the true victim in this whole mess. Four men are claiming to be her daddy, and she’s got Virgie as a grandmother.

I will not posthumously apologize for things I may have said about that drugged-out whore.

  • Well I don’t believe you can apologize to a dead person so… NO. Also, I don’t trust anything I hear from the National Enquirer.

  • No. She lived a strange life and did things that were wrong. Why be nice to her now after all the things said and done to her in her lifetime? I don’t feel the need to clear my conscience.

  • I never said anything about her, so no.

  • I never assumed anything. Apologizing is someone else’s job.

  • I never said anything.

  • no because i never said she did, and i told people to not speak about the dead like that on rumors from hollywood. make a buck make a buck. now look

    Derek

  • But…do we really trust the National Enquirer?

  • I love reading all the christian antidodals from some of you people, JUST TO JUSTIFY BEING JUDGMENTAL F U C K S

  • no… she lived a nasty life. and I do feel sorry for her… but you know? … sigh. whatever.

    I’m sad she died. There.

  • No, I didn’t say that about her.  If I’d had to guess, I’d have guessed she was poisoned.

  • inever said anything about her

  • No, I didn’t say anything bad about her, really.

  • no i never said anything against her.

  • I don’t think “we” owe anyone an apology. She lived how she lived…..and just b/c she didn’t die how she lived doesn’t change anything, really.

  • I feel I owe her more of an apology for mastubating to her photographs in 7th grade..

    That is just dirrrrrrrrty.

    :P

  • after seeing her in a video as a clown, http://youtube.com/watch?v=DULYGi6dnvw she prolly did lots of drugs anyway.

  • I’ve never said anything bad about her, really. So personally? Not at all.

  • Hm. Not really.

  • I also heard on MSNBC this morning, while art work, that she may have had lupus.

  • Thank you RaVnR!

That’s what I’ve been saying this WHOLE time! Who cares if a celebrity dies!? People die every day. It’s not an unnatural occurance.

And no, I don’t owe her an apology.

  • Not really…I didn’t say anything like that about her

  • Yes, totally.

    IM SORRY! =]

  • The National Enquirer reported that 0_o don’t they usually report stories  about UFo’s buzzing the white house and Elvis still being alive?

  • no.
because i figured already that she didn’t die from drug abuse. her life was so difficult, and the fact that she was able to hurdle through most of them is almost inspiring. i felt for her.

anyway, she’s human. unfortunately so is everyone else, and some of us have forgotten about that by being cynical/critical.

  • Well – it’s a known fact that Narcotics of any kind cause respiratory distress….So it could have made the pneumonia worse.  I don’t feel I owe an apology because I think it’s very sad.  She was surely a drug addict and had many emotional problems………. sad someone didn’t intervene.

  • no because i still believee she died from a dtug od

  • NATIONAL ENQUIRER!! hah i wouldn’t believe a thing that comes from that crap pile

  • NATIONAL ENQUIRER!! hah i wouldn’t believe a thing that comes from that crap pile
