Assessing Fat People
I am sitting here watching the Miss USA pageant with my wife. It wasn’t long ago when the women walked out on the stage in their two piece bathing suits. I noticed something about each of these women. All of then were thin. All of them had what I would consider to be good bodies. Even though they would probably argue this point with me, not one of them looked like they had a flaw.
The issue is interesting to me because it was just a little bit earlier tonight that I read an article by Neil Cavuto discussing the issue of weight. Cavuto pointed out that discrimination in our country was accepted if it was against overweight people in a way that it wouldn’t be accepted towards blacks or Jews. Here is the link: Link
Just like a judges look at the candidates of Miss USA and make judgements, people make judgements about a person’s weight. There has been some talk this season on American Idol when it comes to the weight of the contestants.
Is it appropriate to draw certain conclusions about a person who is overweight?
Comments (115)
Nope, it’s really not.
No
It is rude and stupid and does not make you any better.
Definitely not.
Is it appropriate to draw certain conclusions about a person who is thin?
Nope.
I do it anyway….
But I still treat them the same.
not really..
I can’t stand it when people base their opinion on someone solely on appearance.

Exactly
no. but we do…
top 20!
I’m pretty sure it is.
its not appropriate, but we do it. we all judge one another in one way or another. it’s human nature.
not at all.
no, just like it isn’t fair to judge me because i’m jewish.
NO! Most people do not even take into consideration their strengths and weaknesses. They don’t ask what the person has been through in their life. They don’t know if that person has been subject to illness, stress, or if they were once “thin” and now have put on weight due to change of jobs or some other thing that has happened in their life. Mouthing off because I fall into that category of having everyone look at you first with their minds already made up. (I know…you couldn’t tell, right?!)
no.
Usually it says something, but there are cases where it’s not their fault.
No!!!
No, because weight in itself doesn’t have anything to do with who a person is.
no

I was going to say something along these lines. I do believe you can judge to some extent, but you do not know what is going on in their world, or their current mental state, to make conclusions. Certain situations or extremeties of a current mental state could be causing a person to eat more, not be active, etc.
Yes. It very much is. Fat will attack you no matter who you are, and just about everyone in the world can get rid of it. It all depends on their determination.
Yes. I conclude that overweight people eat too much.
(btw, everyone who says no is fat)
Not entirely. Weight certainly cannot be compared to ethnicity or gender. Weight is something that the person has control over, so a persons weight potential says certain things about a person. Example: If a person has bulging muscles, one can infer this person enjoys working out, or at least commits some effort to doing so.
genetics and exactly what they wear plays a role in what is a person’s right weight
No, but it’s human.
i mean exactly what they eat
Even if you can draw a conclusion, doesn’t mean you should treat them condescendingly.
no and most of those girls in the top 15 seemed too thin.
nope. and weight may not be under someone’s control. there have been people who no matter what their dieting habits they constantly gain weight. i forget what the condition is called but i remember seeing something of the sort on tv hehe
then again i’m sure the overweight judge the thin. not long ago i saw a book with a title somewhere along the lines of “you can’t trust a skinny cook” or something.
judgement is always two sided.
no
No it is not. It never really has been ok. Yet I guarentee you 90% of the people already my conclusions before knowing a person…even higher if they are overweight.
My favorite is the whole conversation with “well, if you ate healthier you would lose weight. You know, you can’t eat all those sugary things” as if that has to be the reason your overweight. Do you think if simply stop eating stuff worked we wouldnt all be anorexic???
I disagree AristotleForDummies – maybe some big people eat too much.. but some of them really do just have slow motabolism. People with fast motabolism dont have to loose weight all the time. I worked outside for 2 summers sweating and working hard.. i lost maybe 10 pounds the whole summer and basically all i did was drink water and eat a sandwitch and have one coke for lunch.
I get mad because every now and then i eat too much but who doesnt… I hated this sterotype in my undergraduate college because sometimes i would eat my roomates food and i would get called a pig and he would yell at me for eating “all” of his food… however, he was skinny and tall (im short and fat) and when he would take or eat some of my food no one considered him a pig – i considered him a hypocrite.
Yes, maybe fat people should loose weight – but it doesnt help to be seen as a “nobody” simply because i am fat. People need to encourage people to loose weight but making fun of them or hassling them will NOT work.
I will admit there are exceptions and i remember when i use to eat a lot worse and more than i do today, however, i try to not eat as much and drink more water, also limiting myself to only one coke a day.
just because somone is big doesnt mean they eat to much,
thats called a “sterotype”
- Daniel (doubledb)
the key phrase would be “draw certain conclusions”
would one be drawing these conclusions from FACTs given from a most reliable source?
or
would one be drawing conclusions from their own personal view?
but even within the question posted the judgment of “overweight” has already been made
so, even if one begins with that as a given fact (that a person is “overweight”)
one would still need some other facts before “drawing certain conclusions” unless one wanted to be deemed a prejudicial pig
- there is the possibility that the person that has been called ‘overweight’ here used to weigh 100 pounds more and has worked long and hard to achieve this current state of health
- there is the possibility that the person that has been called ‘overweight’ here has a metabolic disorder or some other ailment that contributes to their condition
- my own personal weight gain is a result of the medication I am taking. I even stopped taking the medication that relieves my recurring migraines because it causes Major weight gain for me. In my pursuit to find a medication that would work for my other condition I have tried a bunch, one of which caused me to loose 2/3 of my hair last summer and it ended up not being effective anyway… (I could go on, but won’t)
I would encourage everyone to be Very Careful before “drawing certain conclusions” about anyone
no. i’m fat as fuck.
I think it depends on what those conclusions are and how they are used. It shouldn’t be concluded that overweight people are less capable, less smart or anything else than a healthy weight or thin person.
Sure, it’s appropriate to conclude that they aren’t perfect. . .Just like you and me. News flash: everyone struggles with something. People who are overweight just have the added pain of other people being able to observe what they struggle with.
No. Overweight people got feelings too. They can be beautiful as the skinny people as well!
occasionally, but not across the board.
just exactly like drawing conclusions about anything else
blah blah blah, all fat people eat too much!
Intolerance & ignorance at it’s finest.
Men with little hands have little penis’s, all skinny people must binge, purge or be on crack.
We are all guilty of making generalizations based solely on appearance regardless of right or wrong with no foundation of truth what so ever.
I am so glad my mother taught me to never judge a book by it’s cover because in doing so you might let something or someone amazing walk out of your life. A true loss.
No.
I am overweight and I still judge people who are my size or bigger. I dont point it out obviously. I mean its not like they dont know. But a persons weight has nothing to do with their personality. I find skinny white women to be extremely obnoxious, for several reasons.
I’m pretty sure that you don’t have to be fat. I realize that some people have diseases that cause them to be overweight, but I think that true obesity can be controlled with exercise and dieting and maybe even medicine.
I was discussing with a friend of mine today how, due to a recent tabloid photo, Tyra Banks is making a point of proving to the world that beauty doesn’t mean you’re stick thin. I really support her for doing that, just like those Dove commercials. I feel like our country is going a little bit away from anorexia and a little more towards curves and full figured women. I think its wonderful!
there are so many diff possible reasons why someone is overweight, so NO. sometimes it is uncontrollable, even w/diet and exercise (medical reasons). i know this from personal experience. but ppl make judgments about others based on a wide variety of other unacceptable reasons as well…seems to be human nature.
and i, by the way, am judging you on your lack of knowledge on the correct spelling of the word “judgment”!
Nope.
No, though it is exploited.
I agree with marycarimom.
It all depends on what those “certain” conclusions are.
You can come to the conclusion that the ocean is made of jello, but unless it’s based on fact, and not just by sight, it’s a great chance your certain conclusion could be wrong.
Yes. I conclude that overweight people eat too much.
(btw, everyone who says no is fat)

Harsh….but I kind of agree with the first part. I do think the discrimination is totally uncalled for though.
I know people who eat healthy food in good portions, work out a reasonable amount, and are still overweight. It is not appropriate to make a judgement about somebody’s lifestyle, moral values, or self-control based on his or her weight.
By the way, for everyone who is talking about losing weight, yeah. It’s LOSING weight, not LOOSING it.
I’m a fat person. I control what I eat, I work out, I am even active in sports, but I can’t get my body fat % under 45. You can’t assume stuff about somebody just by looking at them
HAHAHHAHAAH FOXnews…. cute
yes and no
Not entirely, as others said. But it does have some say about it.
Someone who is black or Jewish was born that way, it’s who they are, it’s part of their culture.
Someone who is overweight or obese is that way most likely because of overeating and not exercising enough, and they are putting themselves in a position where they are at a significantly higher risk of all sorts of health issues.
I see a difference between these 2 categories of people. No, it’s not ok to deride or look down on people who are overweight, but let’s not make them “helpless victims” when the reality is they are causing themselves harm and can make changes about it.
yes.
Sometimes. If an overweight person is applying for a job that requires plenty of physical labor, it would be hard to choose them over someone who is in better physical shape.
But judging a person’s character, values, and beliefs based on their appearance is wrong. Always.
I am overweight and I am the hardest one on myself. This country is focused to much on apperance. If someone would take the time to get to know someone we may not have so many “soul mates” running around looking for each other. Fat people need love too ya know!!!
Most fat people are overweight because of their unhealthy/overindulgent relationship to food. I know because I used to be fat and used my ‘slow metabolism’ as an excuse. Weight is directly related to consumption – if you’re fat it’s because you’re eating more than your fair share of food.
But a persons weight has nothing to do with their personality. I find skinny white women to be extremely obnoxious, for several reasons.

Does anyone else see the contradiction?
“man looks at the outward appearance, while God looks at the heart” we need to learn from Him.
Just as much as drawing conslusions about someone who smokes or drinks too much…….or sits in front of the computer too much, or sits on the couch too much……these conslusions can’t be made as readily but these lifestyles are just as unhealthy.
Ever laugh at a fat joke? Answer that first and maybe the comments would be a bit more honest.
I’ve said it before: Fat is the last acceptable prejudice. People I thought were the nicest and kindest people I knew will now tell me what they really thought of me 200+ lbs ago (like I’ll suddenly be fine with it)… and it made me realize how many liars there are in this world.
So while people say, no, it’s not okay to draw conclusions based on a persons weight… I highly doubt the walk and the talk are the same.
No. It’s not fair. Why are people so afraid of fat? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating poor health, but people seem to be unable to differentiate between weight and quality of health; very few people seem to judge when they see an model-esque woman chain-smoking. Isn’t that a double standard?
Furthermore, what on earth does someone’s size have to do with their character, intellegence, or overall competence? Absolutely nothing.
I love lots of overweight people and I really wish that they would take better care of themselves, but that’s really none of my business. Their weight does not affect how I view them as a person. Nobody is perfect.
It’s not appropriate at all. You never know what kind of struggles a person has gone through, or what kind of health issues they may have that cause them to be overweight. It is not necessarily laziness or a love of eating that causes people to gain weight, and it is cruel to assume that that is the case.
LOL I just read shawbin’s comment…excellent point, my friend.
No, of course it’s not! Is it appropriate to judge someone just because they’ve had a “bad life”? Is that their fault? Not always. All people that are overweight aren’t that way because they simply eat too much. There are medical conditions, such as thyroid problems, that can make a person overweight.
STOP JUDGING PEOPLE
“Yes. I conclude that overweight people eat too much.
(btw, everyone who says no is fat)”

Haha! Awesome! I’m a size-ist. This whole “Big and Beautiful” “Accept me for what I am” thing is garbage. Fat people are disgusting. So are fat pets and children, but they’re as sad as they are disgusting since it’s not their fault. Fat adults on the other hand deserve no pity or respect. Quit eating garbage, quit watching TV, and go ride a bike, or walk somewhere.
That is all.
No.
And
“Is it appropriate to draw certain conclusions about a person who is thin?” – Tallon5
huh, i never thought of it like that before. Ill have to do some research on the topic before I am ready to come to a full conclusion on the matter.
This is a hot button issue for me. Over the past 8 months, I have lost 62 pounds and I’m not done yet. I started at a weight of 226 (not ashamed to say that now) and I’m only 5’2″… so I know what it’s like to be criticized about your weight. I’ve been told everything from I’m a fat pig who just sits on her butt all day, to all fat people should be wiped off the face of the earth since they don’t know how to take care of themselves. It always really hurt me, because I never DESIRED to be fat. I didn’t say to myself, “Well, I’m going to be obese, and it’s going to be fun for me!” I happen to struggle with my weight anyway, because I just have those “chubby genes.” LOL!! On top of that, I have a serious thyroid issue that took YEARS to get under control. So it really hurt me. I think what people need to understand is just because someone’s obese does not mean they are lazy and don’t care about themselves. It’s so difficult, especially in this fast pace day and age where sometimes it’s easier to grab a taco than to make a baked potato, to keep yourself healthy. I think it’s important to stress health to those who are overweight, and to help them get on the right track. However, I also think it’s wrong to discriminate just because they happen to be overweight. You see what I’m saying?
Someone who is black or Jewish was born that way, it’s who they are, it’s part of their culture.
Someone who is overweight or obese is that way most likely because of overeating and not exercising enough, and they are putting themselves in a position where they are at a significantly higher risk of all sorts of health issues.

I certainly disagree with this! I agree some are like that. But there are genes that make someone susceptible to being overweight. This person is uninformed on the subject.
I have been thin and treated nice by everyone I came in contact with….strangers and friends. I have been fat as well, and treated like I was invisible. you can draw your own conclusions. I think people treat you apathetically when you are fat cuz they see you as someone with no self control. When I am overweight, I feel out of control as well, thus poorly about myself.
You can assume that they might have a problem of overeating, but you can’t assume that they aren’t trying to stop.
not really…will have to side with jam4the1lamb on this one…
“Weight certainly cannot be compared to ethnicity or gender. Weight is something that the person has control over, so a persons weight potential says certain things about a person. Example: If a person has bulging muscles, one can infer this person enjoys working out, or at least commits some effort to doing so.” ~JAM
Being overweight is a choice of lifestyle. Being black or jewish is not.
If you don’t like being called fat, stop eating so much.
No, but we have discriminations about everything.
No. A person does have some control over their weight, but some have it tougher than others. Some people have slower metabolisms. Others are just naturally built stockier. Judging someone based on their weight is not any more justifiable than judging someone on any other part of themselves.
If they are large enough, it may be appropriate to conclude that a person of a certain size may do damage to furniture.
You actually sat and watched that? On purpose?
It is demeaning to women.
In answer to your original question. No it is not appropriate.
Drawing conclusions is the same thing as judging. I believe there is also a biblical edict against judging.
Others often have circumstances that the rest of us know nothing of. If is very unfair to judge them under any circumstances, what purpose does it serve? Life is hard enough for many of us, without us being judgemental and mean to each other.
I draw conclusions from it. But I keep them tentative, understanding it’s not always that simple.
When I see overweight people overeat and avoid physical exertion, certain conclusions start to solidify.
If my metabolism weren’t what it is, I’d likely be in the same boat.
Well, we can all say that no it shouldn’t matter. But yes it does. America is soley based on looks. Miss America is based on looks. American Idol has a lot to do with looks as well thats why Sanjaya Malakar is still in the american idol. He can’t sing but he looks good.Even at clothing stores like Hollister and Abrecrombiem, think of it have you ever seen a fat person there?
Now this does not mean I believe that this is alright but it’s how america is.
I am going to post photos of me when I was fat.
I was fat once.
I was fat because I found comfort in pints of haagen daz and hot pockets, in my angst ridden realy adolescence. Come home from school, steal some money from mom, buy candy, chips, chili, ice cream, make mashed pototoes with cheddar cheese, mac n cheese, cheap, inexpensive fattening starches and sugars.
And I got really fat. I stopped eating like that, and I got thin. I have gone up and down 40 pounds based on diet and working out, and in a few isolated cases alcohol and drugs, and what can I say?
You don’t choose your physical characteristics like facial structure and skin pigmentation, but if you are obese?
It is most likely from your own action or inaction. It is easy (and tasty) to eat an entire pint of haagen daz. I have done so on many occassions. To scream bloody murder over anti-fat discrimination, I myself am turned off my shapeles dimpled butts, having some personal experience with them, and that is almost too mean to post.
Almost, but not quite.
Concurrently, coming from someone who cannot NOT notice a fertile female, body types in American media are skewed. There are thin waists, and wide hips, skinny legs, and muscular calves. ALL of them are quite sexy. Girls who have wide childbearing hips, the sizes no one wants to say out loud, that isnt fat. One must not get body types mixed up with excess fat, and that is a sad struggle for a teen who is not built like a Miss America contestant, yet is not in the least bit fat…
Leading to xanga purging groups. Look, everyone finds their way, we hope, and try to minimize the scarring in one’s throat seeking the path to inner peace.
What are we gonna do? Pass a LAW?
When I was pregnant I felt such a freedom to be able to not worry about my weight constantly- for the first time in my life. It was wonderful. Of course, after babies it was not easy to lose that baby fat, but I worked out (as I did during pregnancy, in fact). Let’s give people a break- and quit judging them by their weight.
Um, no.
That is the dumbest thing ever [but I do agree with Neil Cavuto...].

Usually it says something, but there are cases where it’s not their fault.

IT USUALLY SAYS SOMETHING?!?!

Obesity is a little different than immutable conditions such as race or gender, because obesity is not immutable. As some have pointed out, however, there are factors that go beyond the concept of willpower and the ability to say “no” to food — genetic predispositions, thyroid problems, etc. But I do feel its not fair to make sweeping generalizations based on weight. (Of course, I myself am overweight, so I hope people don’t make sweeping generalizations based on my appearance).
No. I think that people should look at atitude and behavior, rather then race, color, or creed. Just because someone is overweight doesnt mean that dont contribute to society in a positve matter. People come in all shapes and sizes.
Its not nice, but I would be a liar if I claimed not to do it.
YES. There are certain attributes associated with people who are overweight. However it takes a bigger person to get past that and to know what they are like inside.
It’s stupid to make judgments about any person. This society is so demeaning to women. Our poor young girls and young women are suffering because of the images they see on tv, the internet, etc. I agree, it is great to be in shape (I exercise almost every day and I am very “weight/health” conscious) but placing your worth in appearance is just plain stupid. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen…everyone looks the same now, it’s kinda boring. PUT SOME CLOTHES ON! I DON’T CARE HOW YOUR BODY LOOKS! THERE’S TOO MUCH NUDITY ON TV!!! THAT’S ONE OF THE PROBLEMS WITH OUR SOCIETY NOW!!!!
People always draw conclusions, sometimes they’re even right about them.
We have too much food available to us. We do eat a lot. Now we have to exercise a lot so we can keep eating a lot. We don’t exercise enough.
Perhaps we should build more walking trails and bike paths in our cities. If I were elected President, I would make it easier and safer to get more exercise by making outdoor recreation more accessible.
AristotleForDummies:
I am super skinny with an extremely fast metabolism – and I tell you we can’t conclude that fat people are overweight because they eat too much. Most “fat people” eat less than I do, and most “fat people” eat healthier than I do. So here’s two truths that I think this culture has blinded us from:
1. Being fat is not wrong, nor disgusting. Anyone who thinks that if you are fat you can’t be pretty, is believing a lie that this culture has fed to us. (Unfortunately, most people in the US do – which makes it even harder to stop believing it.)
2. There’s a certain point that everyone’s body will snap back into, if they were to eat normally and healthily. That means that if people stop starving themselves, and if people stop eating too much, they will quickly gain or lose however much weight until they reach that point again – and then thier bodies will constantly stay at about that same weight. For some people, this weight is very small (120 pounds, 135…) and for some people that weight is a little larger (200…).
This is true and you can ask any honest doctor or scientist who specializes in our bodies’ functions. A lot of it has to do with genetics.
God makes each of us different – that means each of our natural weights, eye colors, hair colors, etc. (though the environment and what you do has some impact on these things) is beautiful and the way we are meant to look. God never wanted us all to look the same – and He is proud of the way he beautifully crafted each one of us.
So, whoever thinks that being fat is ugly and something that can be prevented without perversely depriving your own body of certain things in the food pyramid that are necessary for normal functioning and health, stop buying into the shit that the Western culture tries to sell us all.
Being fat doesn’t automatically mean being unhealthy - that’s is only true for some.
Weight is slightly different from race. However, I often judge overweight people, simply because they often have a miserable expression on their face. Their eyes scream “I want to be thin and beautiful like you!” Not always. Sometimes.
I do have a friend who is overweight, though, and I really don’t think it’s her fault. She exercises and eats fairly healthy (certainly not very much), but she doesn’t really lose weight. I think it’s related to a severe heart condition.
At any rate, I think fat is something that’s inside.
Yes: lazy, depressed and potentially smelly.
anyone who says its not appropriate is just concious about their own weight or not comfortable with their weight.
You can draw conclusions on a person based on evidence. Having muscles is the result of consciously choosing to stay fit and probably due to some lifting. Having a darker complexion is the result of spending more time in the sun. Fatness is the result of eating too much on a regular basis. You can draw conclusions- which occasionally are wrong based on perceived evidence.
No, don’t judge a book by its cover.
I think so. It shows that you’re too lazy to get into shape and you eat too much.
no it is not. i think that the people judge others by their weight are very rud and inconsiderate. i always say that i hope what goes around comes around for those people. it is not what is on the outside but what is on the inside that counts to me. i have alot of friends that are overweight.
charliesgirl_21 (jess)
In general, I say yes. They need to drop the pounds and keep it off, no one wants to see that.
But then again I’m the guy that says stereotypes are funny and that…nevermind, not the place for this discussion.
No. A lot of people, from looking at me would judge me to be incredibly sedentary with a love for potato chips and Coca-Cola.
Not true. I work out at least 3 times a week, I ride horses at least 3 days a week, I work 25 hours a week, I am a full time college student and I rarely have TIME to eat.
Making judgements based on looks alone, whether it be fat or skinny or black or white is wrong.
unlike being black or jewish, being overweight is a health risk.
No but even I do…Sometimes I feel like the person I am looking at is lazy or gluttonous if they’re you know–like extremely overweight. I’m talking like 50 pounds and up though I’m not talking about anything less.
weight is something you have control over. race/gender/etc. is not something you have control over. therefore, they’re completely different issues. I can kind of see where you’re coming from, but, I really don’t think they’re even comparable.
no, people judge others too much by how they look or what they weigh. i don’t think it’s healthy at all.
A person can lose or gain weight. But they can never change their gender or ethnicity…
emphatically, NO!
my husband was denied a position in a church just because of his weight. These people did not know him and judged that he was a glutton because he is overweight. The truth is that he has a faulty liver and that’s why he is over weight. He eats less than most slim people do. It’s a shame because he was more than qualified.
So, no way.
Jackie
No. You should never draw certain conclusions. Such as those babes in the beauty pageants. For one thing, they cover those flaws they do have with body paint and they use tape to lift up those boobs, they also use vaseline to cover their teeth to help them keep that sparkling smile 100% of the time. There are many other tricks they use to make themselves look ‘perfect’. It is all smoke and mirrors, Dan.
You can’t always draw conclusions about a person based on weight. Look to the heart, mind and spirit, also. It makes me sad to hear those who say “they eat too much and they don’t exercise.” Sometimes, probably many times, it is NOT based on “gluttony and laziness” but on many other factors….in women, childbearing, hormone changes, middle age/perimenopausal stage, depression, etc… I would love to get back to my ideal weight, but allergies and kidney problems prevent me from following the diet that works for my body. I do my best. My daughter, on the other hand, is 10 and eats way more than I do…and she’s a stick. She WANTS to gain some weight, to get some “meat on her bones” as she says, but her metabolism and activity level run way too high…son is the same way.
It’s sad how we look at people. I saw a grossly obese woman (especially from the waist down) struggling just to walk down a school hallway yesterday at music contest, and I thought, “Oh my, that’s just really awful….”. I saw the same woman an hour later, behind a desk in a classroom judging a music contest, and she was the most wonderful, vivacious, knowledgeable private clarinet teacher who made these kids feel just completely encouraged…only when she got up to help the kids and give them a mini-lesson did I realize it was the same person I saw in the hallway… Boy, was that a wake-up call. You can’t stereotype or generalize.
I feel like our country is going a little bit away from anorexia and a little more towards curves and full figured women. I think its wonderful!
Posted 3/23/2007 11:24 PM by gnarleybanana
I could only wish that was true. The biggest sex icon in American history was Marilyn Monroe. A size 16. The average size of an American Woman now is a 12, and the Average size in Hollywood is a size 4. We are not moving toward a healthier non-anorexic society. I wish we would, but too many people think that being rail thin with your bones poking out in attractive. Personally, if I ever got so thin my stomach was below my hip bones I would shoot myself.

I admit, it is a little bit ok. But just barely. And we all do it, so no one can say “No! I’m ashamed! How could anyone ever do that?” I know I’m a bit overweight for my age, though I’m ashamed to admit that. YOu can’t always help it sometimes. When you have to work, or study or are just plain busy, it’s hard to find time to do certain healthy exercises. And you can’t assume anything about some who is . . large (Does anyone notice, at a certain age, you don’t wanna use the word ‘fat’? It sounds too vulgular to me), but you can possibly spectulate about their lives, but (pero! I love espanol!) not assume they over-eat, or are unhealthy, or never exercise. I bike everyday after school, and I eat healthy healthy food. It’s just hard to lose weight. If you are supremely overweight, naturally, people will make assumptions about you. that’s the way we are. Sorry.
