Soft, slow, pretty music. That means the Silent Hill soundtrack!
lately, nothing. been suffering from insomnia. working out usually works well, but i’ve been too sick for that for over a month now. ggrrrr…
Melatonin(sp?)
generally going into a dark crowded room and punching people punching people in the dark is a victimless crime
Watching “The Dick Van Dyke Show” on DVD on my laptop. That’s what I’m about to do.
It is the staying awake that I need help with.
usually i don’t go to bed until i’m extremely tired, so by then i don’t need anything to help me fall asleep.
um, watching some tv before bed… sometimes reading but I dont read for enjoyment much during the school-year, since i read so much for seminary.
closing my eyes. I am asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow
But i prefer to stay awake a while and cuddle
Being sooo tiireedd.
Being tired (which, unfortunately, I’m not).
Music or put a movie on the DVD player; a movie I know by heart and I’ll fall asleep just listening to it.
Oh yes, and someone mentioned working out. That helps so much.
Interestingly enough, most people put music. I sleep the best in a completely dark room with no music. Preferably, I’d sleep with a fan quietly whirring. That’s sweet sleep right there.
If I need help getting to sleep, I usually breathe more deeply and focus on one thing so my thoughts don’t jump around. Sometimes concentrating on one thought quiets me and lulls me to sleep.
Oh and working out doesn’t help me a bit. It gets my heart pumping and I lay in bed for hours with tons of energy. More power to all you who can sleep after a work-out!
music. soft, sometimes depressing, slow, music.
Masturbation. Unless I orgasm on a full bladder. That really fucks up the night.
Reading a book I’ve already read at least 5 times already and listening to soft music. Lately, though, it’s been hard to relax, and my cd player broke, so I had no music But I just bought a new one! Yay! So I’m going to listen to it now and try to conquer my weird insomnia. Good luck falling asleep, Dan!
I listen to books on tape. Usually the voices of the narrator lulls me to sleep.
Masturbation.

Staying up after 11:30 p.m. Posted 3/26/2007 12:05 AM by Tallon5
I mean, I used to be able to stay up later and I was fine, but after doing it too many times I just feel like crap, especially if I have school the following morning (and today, I don’t).
Perfect timing, Dan. I need to be asleep NOW because spring break is officially over as of 5 or 10 minutes ago and I have school in 7.5 hours. I can’t sleep!!! Maybe it’s just too hot.
That conversation tonight made my mind go into a soft sleep. I mean, the tone- how I felt, and the things I was saying made me drift off. That kind of mood does. It helped me so much. When those conversations don’t happen, usually it’s a DVD that I know well enough to make me fall asleep. The glow from the laptop and the hum of it as the movie plays along.
‘N Sync.

I have been trying to figure that out for weeks now.
Caffeine
I am telling the truth.
The flickering of the tv.
Nothing I can think of…That’s why I am still awake right now..
Consistent sleep deprivation and post-show exhaustion.
Getting in the twilight zone.
I usually watch tv until my eyes get heavy.. then turn it off and my feet start to rub each other and it comforts me to sleep.
My friend she pats and rubs her back to go to sleep.
Being too exhausted to think too much.

Aww, I was taking 250-300 MG of benedryl to sleep. When you stop taking it after you take it at high doses you get a fucking horrible rash
Thinking about someone who makes me smile <3 and trying to create my own dream with them in it.
Which is exactly what I’m about to do right now. Goodnight
Tylenol simply sleep…
Pretty much nothing. My body runs on its own schedule, so whenever its tired, i find a bed. A take random naps throughout the day and night because its nearly impossible to get 7 straight hours.
Music; The Academy Is… and Cute Is What We Aim For.
My girlfriend tends to make me fall asleep quickly though, however it has nothing to do with sex or masturbation. She’s very warm, and having her there makes me forget all my problems for awhile. She makes me feel at ease.
Resting my head on the wall. I don’t know. When I’m too distracted to sleep, nothing ever works. My gym teacher taught us how to do self hypnosis once. All the other girls were snoring and I was staring at them all, trying not to laugh.
Being completely exhausted, which is what I’ve been lately. That helps me sleep in an instant!
reading for AP Biology.
I would really like to know that, because I just lied in bed for 2 hours with no result. Grr.

I have to agree with MoesAcne… the room has to be completely dark and quiet, with a fan on, in order for me to fall asleep. Children coming into my room in the middle of the night to “snuggle up” ruin it.
