Naked Photos
A recent study showed that when men were shown photos of naked women, they were more likely to look at the woman’s face before looking at her body parts.
When women were shown photos of heterosexual sex, on the other hand, they would tend to look at the photos longer than the men would. Here is the link: Link
Why are women such pervs?

I couldn’t tell ya.
me so horny. haha. who knows.
Women have less practice, and therefore are slow lookers. i.e. bloody amateurs.
LOL.
wow.
Because they are naturally worse sinners.
We overanalyze things …
because women tend to be more critical of bodies… they want to see how things look they compare themselves to the pictures…… and besides who’s to say we are any less horny than men…. we just dont’ act on it as much.
Interesting question. I’m not a woman, so I don’t know the answer.
Its in my nature
Ha. You wish.
woah…..hey there dan. watch it….
We overanalyze things …

Yep. I agree with her!
We’re not pervs. We’re judgemental.
Because they can.
I seriously doubt the accuracy of that report.
We are not pervs!
Very funny, Dan.
I think in Ancient Rome (or was it Greece?) the women were actually considered the sex fiends, sort of like how we view men now. Personally I think humans in general are just perverted…
I am a perv and I admit it.
hypothesis:
men being visual creatures got
tired of the body and sought
visual novelty in the face.
women like sexy photos too
There is no WAY a man first looks at a woman’s face.
women like action shots
we’re more interested in what’s going on?
or we could simply blame hormones…
Men are more stimulated by sight than women. It takes longer to have the same effects on them.
LOL! We arent so bad after all!
Hahahaha….we are aren’t we….hehe
i think i can agree. we are pervs! = ]
Women have less practice, and therefore are slow lookers. i.e. bloody amateurs.
Better than I could have done
I think that’s because men engage in watching pornography more often and have become somewhat neutralized or disinterested in it.
because we like sex as well, which i know sounds suprising.
lots of women are prudes… and are kind of amazed at sex. Which is lame, stereotypical, and boring.
Nothing is wrong with being a little peverted. I think it’s cute.
about the rosie o’donnel post
I my friend, am petrified of rosie o’donnel. Every waken moment of my life i live in fear of the day she is going to snap and eat us all. I cry at night thinking of the victims she has eaten such as star jone’s fat. If the people at the view talked back to her she would all those bitchy horny ladies. Pretty soon we’re going to find Donald Trump’s skeleton in a river somewhere. I am scared shitless of rosie o’donnel. That’s why she gets away with lewd comments.
define “face”? lol
Daniel (doubledb)
You didn’t say the same thing. You said men looked at naked women and the women were shown picture of a hetersexual couple having sex. That is in NO way the same type of picture.
As far as women looking – women pay attention to detail.
What the heck.
Ha! Since I’m an amateur photographer I tend to look at all photos for a while, to get the details and such.
Haha!
LOL it’s true. We are such pervs. If the study was on a group of women rather than just one it would show we’d look even longer and make lewd comments.
I think the men wanted to look at the chest, but their eyes are trained to look at the face first from having to learn to train their eyes from not staring at the chest of a clothed woman, in person. We don’t have to worry about cleavage popping all over to distract us, so we don’t feel as guilty when we ogle.
Probably because the women don’t look at it that often so there’s more curiousity than the guys who are used to it. Maybe.
That is very interesting.
I do believe that there needs to be more studies on this topic for it to mean anything seeing as how it flies in the face of conventional wisdom.
I take longer to look because i’m a critical bitch. I want to look at the ladies boobs (are they bigger than mine?), he legs (are they thinner than mine?), and her tummy (is it flat?). Women compare themselves to others constantly. Is her hair prettier than mine? Would my hair look that good fixed like that (make a mental note to fix your hair tomorrow)? Is her face pretty? Is her skin clear? Is her nose big? Is she prettier than me?
I know tons and tons of friends that do that, even in grade school.
women are probably looking for more flaws in the picture,
Women are just generaly freakier in bed than men. Hell, check out any pornagraphic movie! Chicks doing guys, chicks doing chicks, chicks doing animals, chicks doing plastic representations of guys, chicks doing more than one guy at once, and even chicks doing them selves!!!!
THANK GOD FOR WOMEN!!!
Not all men are dogs ladies. Its just the few that make us look bad.
> For the most part, every female i’ve discussed this subject with has indicated that there is an interest in the package in question, for many personal reasons…. Perve? Maybe…. ….but who has 9 mos. of joyful misery, alone, if the donor of dna ain’t hangin’ round? Ah, the memories….
peace
Lol no idea
haha
who knows?
LOL
lol. tables turn sometimes.
lol.
You’re joking, right?
Hey!!!
lol
I’m not done looking.. I am still looking.. Get back to me at another time.. I’m busy..
cuz guys have hot abs. and girls like to drool over hot abs. such as in movies with shirtless guys. duuuh
women. yuck!
Do you still read every comment?
RYC: If they banned the HP books, they would have to come into my house and take them. We have a rule in this house not to let government officials, including law enforcement, in the house.
That’s not even comparing apples to apples. Show a (straight) man pictures of hetero sex and you’ll be lucky if he can contain himself from drooling all over the pictures. Plus, he would probably ask if he could take them to the bathroom. Just joking…I think.
And I mean, really, when you look at a naked woman there isn’t really that much different between women…you know, same body parts and all that. But a picture of people having sex, well there is much more to look at. TWO naked bodies, the position, etc.
Probably low self esteem and busy comparing themselves to that.
the men put down the picture more quickly because they need to start playing with themselves
They’ve got more to criticize.
’nuff said….
Maybe they’re wondering if the women were thinking about whether or not the women in the photos look better than them or not?
women are not pervz. lol i think guys are just sooo use to lookin at porn and women have to take time to adjust their eyes to see exactly what the picture is. lol
Us woman tend to be very critical.
And if I show the picture, ya know, it’s kinda THERE. Men didn’t have to stare at naked people having SEX.
Ah, my poor virgin eyes~
Men get off way quicker than women.
i have to go with the judgmental aspect of women- we size each other up and size up men too… i think i do that worse than just about anybody from my years in competition as a dancer- i pay attention to peoples’ gait, their posture, the way they present themselves, their proportions… it’s a dancer thing, i guess…
I call bull shit.
Not pervs. “Intrigued”
Its they way our anatomy is. Men come faster by focusing on one thing. Then they are done and fall asleep. Women take a while to warm up and our pleasure lasts longer. Also, did you know men reach their sexual peak at 18 yrs old and women do in their 30s. Sex is different for us. So is the way we enjoy our visual stimuli. It should come as no surprise.
we are comparing are bodies to the women in the picture. lol.
Probably because the women thought it was going to be one of those “Tell me ten things you noticed about this picture” tests.
it’s just cuz men are so used to looking at pictures of naking woman, they look at her face first to see if they’re familiar with this porn star. for women, looking at pictures of naked men is a completely new experience and they’re just curious.
human nature? original sin? god said so?
Who cares, but I’m not going to complain
Haha, I don’t think that looking at the pictures longer makes us pervs, I think it just means that we’re more analytical about what we are looking at.
If that is all the study did, it was a poor study. Show only naked women, and I’m sure the women will still look longer than men at the pictures. Women analyze and take in all the little details. If we see a scar, we wonder how it got there and imagine situations that may have led to the scar, etc.
Picture of sex vs. picture of someone naked.
Uhh? Obviously they’d stare longer.
i’m pretty okay with being a perv.
i don’t know, but that woman’s face is really creeping me out
Eh.
If men are looking at the face, they are looking in the eyes to see the heart. If women are looking longer, they are having a harder time finding the heart.
i doubt men stare at the face first. sex arouses people, but i still think men are more perverted than women.
haha. I knew that facts were skewed somewhere in here. Now I know this must be the truth
Take the time to read the linked story: They were shown the same pictures (of heterosexual couples having sex).
On the other hand, I don’t think that 30 women and 15 men is really a fair sample.
And the article made an interting point: mean watch the faces because the rest of the body doesn’t really tell them anything about the woman’s mood.
Plus, the fact that it’s a still picture means the a guy will probably look at it for a little bit, and then he’s seen it. No need to keep studying it. Women, however, pick out more detail in general (especially when talking about someone’s body/physical appearance).
What ! ? Ah- You are funny Dan !
LOL!
Who said I was looking at the face? I am sorry but a girl could be ugly then Rosie O Donnell in the face, but if she has a nice pair of legs I would date her.
We learned from the best, guys.
HA!
Haha… women are searching for a male who is a suitable long term specimen.
Men just don’t give a damn. Anything will do for a moment.
HAHAHA.
don’t know?
We are not pervs. First we are comparing ourselves to the woman. Then we compare our guy to the guy in the photo. Then we compare the technique to our own bedroom technique. Then things get complicated. For example, if the guy is not as good looking as our guy and his technique is lacking we wonder why is she with him. Money? Personality? If the girl isn’t as hot as we are, we wonder what she has got. Does she have a fire crotch???? What the hell.
So unlike guys who have simple thoughts about the sex pictures, women get kind of complex with it.
interesting o0
Meehehehe. I couldn’t answer that.
guylygirl is right: this is such a small sample of people–prolly comprised of university students who got some free food or $25.
Hm, interesting that women on the pill reacted different tho.
because it is “naughty” and “improper”. Guys are expected to so it takes away some of the thrill
Well Dan, maybe you’d know the answer to that if you finished reading that article. ;p
And besides, we’re not pervs!
lol
haha, the whoo wrote, “…… and besides who’s to say we are any less horny than men…. we just dont’ act on it as much.”
… now who are these men acting out on with their sex drive if not the one and only women? lol. unless she is targeting homosexuals. (thats a touchy subject right there, lol… no pun intended)
comparing i would assume.
the one time i ever went to a strip club (it was with a group for some guy’s b-day) i couldn’t see why guys liked it so much… all i did was judge the dancer’s bodies and faces… but i think it was just because i was bored.
We’re interested in analyzing what’s going on, rather than OOH SEX *wankwankwank*
Ha…
well, i think its because we are looking at the photo and judging our selves based on what we see. if we are told something is hot or that its what men want ( ie: porn) we will try our best to imitate it and be most pleasing to our male counterparts. some people will be all grumpy and try to deny it, but its true and we do it weather we do it consiously or not. ha ha. cant spell. sorry.
I don’t know, but I appreciate how beautiful the human body is.
We see women’s goods on tv much more often than we see men’s…
Dear Folks,
According to Kierkegaard, women are naturally more aesthetically oriented. I am inclined to agree, and I respect your differences, all of you who find that so difficult to accept. I certainly have not always been of that persuasion.
A healthy woman is naturally erotic, while a healthy man “naturally” sloughs off the erotic fascination of his immaturity, in his discovering of a greater affinity for the contemplative. A mature woman is ever more enriched by the erotic. I wouldn’t call her entranced, as it her engagment with the photo in this sense is not what we might assume (for a man) to be a lurid leering.
No, her admiration of the photo of a naked man’s body is not nearly so defiling of her moral character as it would be for the typical man. I, a man, have to be cautious with art or any nude photo, to remind myself to think and look like a woman. And I might add, the woman is not just admiring the genital region, zeroeing in on the pecker, as it were, as much as we males might like to fancy she is. No, that’s not a woman’s way of looking. Nor, does a mature woman prudishly avert her eyes from the virile member. No, she gladly enjoys a gander, but then a gander at the handy dangler, if you’ll pardon my French, is just not the right word for the feminine perception here. If we want to understand her visual engagement, we must look further, and with more copious tendering of the benefit of the doubt, morally speaking, in so much as morality is understood with discernment and delineation of the good and the bad.
And yes, you can think like the opposite sex. I am a woman in as much as I think like one, though I’ll never sport a child in my womb, or absence thereof, alas. But to me, that’s not a biggie, nor is it to my wife. It’s just one of those things we do, the biologically female half of our species. You grow it, you pop it out. She’s chewed through four now, by the way, not bad for a middle class vixen from an advanced country, no?
Well, I’ve prattled on long enough. I just couldn’t resist dropping in on an ostensibly theological site which sported a tag of “sex”. Later dudes.
Love, Padooker
