Public Universities are adjusting their cost taking into account the degree that is being pursued.

Scientists have created the first mentally ill mice.  The mice have been genetically engineered so they would have schizophrenia.

About 340 children have died in a hot vehicle in the last 10 years.

Most of those children died when their parents accidently forgot them in their car.  I was just reading an article that was written about how the penalty varies when people leave their children in the car.  Apparently, juries are more forgiving when the parents forget and leave the child in the car on accident. 

Juries also tend to be harsher in their sentencing when a mother is the one that forgets the child in the car.  Here is the link:  Link

Do you think a parent should go to prison if their child died when he/she forgot them in their car?

In the UK, there is a prison that allows a baby to stay in prison with his/her mother if the mother is in prison.  Babies are allowed to stay with their mothers until they are 18-months-old.

I was watching a news program this morning about some of the controversy surrounding bullfighting. 

Bullfighting has supporters who believe that bullfighting is an important part of the culture and tradition.  Animal rights activists condemn it because of the bull almost always dies and sometimes doesn’t get killed right away with the first stab.

Ian Johnson scored the winning points in the Fiesta Bowl.  Then just a few moments later, he proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend on national television.
