Yes… I talk to my best friend about once or twicce a year.
a few =) and one from elementary school.
my three best friends are my high school best buds.
2 of them
Just a few. Why keep in touch with the people who tormented you?
I was invited to a class reunion and I’m definitely not going to pay money to see these assholes.
Not at all.
Only about 2 of them…. (the rest werent worth the trouble)
No, we have all scattered like leaves in the wind.
2 of them
A few of them.
Yeah, thats what Facebook is for. Also have a few friends from middle school that I keep up with. We had a middle school reunion this summer that we organized through Facebook but I had to work so I didnt get to go. From what I heard it was really nice, even some of our old teachers showed up.
OT, but Dan there’s a post on my site I think you’d enjoy. Stop by and see it.
Yes, a few…
Very much so, yes. Almost all of the ones I was close with then, I remain close to.
Yes with the ones that matter (about 10). Thank God for facebook.
I went to 11 schools in 13 years (counting kindergarten). I’ve kept up with one friend from grades 5-7. I never actually went to high school with her. I’m currently hiding from my fellow graduates. I wrote some stuff on xanga about changing the words to the alma mater that made featured content. A few weeks later, I made fun of them for having the 30th reunion at a nursing home. (I still can’t figure out what on earth they were thinking!) My name is mud – I can never go back.
Yes,very often…every 4month,we will have a gathering
only a couple people
Just a couple. Seems to be the norm.
One of them. There are a couple of others who I have come back into contact with. I think in high school most kids saw me as more of an amusement than a friend.
Yes, as many of them as I can – Facebook makes it extremely easy.
Nope
Nope
And Nope.
No
No
No
No
No.
Though really the ones I have come back into contact with were more acquaintances than friends in high school. If there is ever a reunion for my high school I intend to go back just to make an ass of myself and torment people once again since most of the people I went to high school with were not worth anything more than that and many of them went out of their way to torment me.
As if I really had any friends in highschool to begin with!
I can’t say I ever once hung out with anybody from my highschool out of highscholl (well once I did but only because we met up at the same event, but we didn’t go together–I didn’t know they’d be there and they didn’t know I’d be there!)
What high school friends?
Seriously tho… I met my Gay Best Friend in high school and he was the one good thing that came out of there. Besides me, of course.
graduated from highschool or collage?
If from highschool, yes I have kept in touch.
If from college, well, I still have four and a half years till that happens.
Mine: No. They’re all over the country, and I chose, after the last reunion, to opt to not go to any more. I didn’t like my the kids in my graduating class then, and I don’t like them now. However, one year later, same school, J’s friends: yes. We are seeing some tonight for a “game” night. That group has become our “best” friends.
I have 2 that I talk to occasionally. I go to all the reunions too and it is always fun to see everyone. My graduating class only had 38 students though.
Yes
Very little contact with high school friends. My infrequent attempts have not been fruitful. Most of them have their lives and seem uninterested in renewing our friendships. I never really liked high school anyway, so that is ok. I still have contact with friends from college–even though you didn’t ask that! Seems like the further removed from those times in our lives, the fewer friends with whom we have contact from those periods of our lives.
My close friends from elementary school (three of them) and a few from highschool.
Nah! not a single one.
yup….one from elementary school….and 3 from high school .. all of them are sill my best friends
No not really…except for one friend
I’ve reconnected with a few through the classmates site…others…we’ve always been in touch…somehow.
Yes, mostly. It helps that one of them lives next door.
why bother? don’t keep up with a one of them!
for the most part, yes.
yup…. Anna, Leah, Becky, Michael, Albe, Derrick, and I think that’s it
Just one, and she now lives in Denver. We have so many good memories! We go back to around 1970!
very few of them. And it’s only been two years.
a few
actually yea… there are about 5-6 of my hs friends that i see regularly
Yes!
You hang out with someone for twelve years of your life, it’s hard to forget them.
Not particularly, considering I’m still IN high school. But hypothetically, I would with…five.
Then again, there’s facebook.
well. since i’m still in high school. yes. but, if it counts for anything, i have the same best friend since elementary school
I am in highschool.
Yes, about 3 or 4 of them ocassionally.
well i’m a senior. but i’m still best friends with the same kids from middle school .
only the ones who are on Xanga
No. I hate everybody.
yeahhhhhhh! it’s amazing
a few of ‘em. I kept more in touch with my friends from youth group though.
No. Except one boyfriend who every few years we seem to always run into each other somewhere and talk about old times. He was my first real love and he will always be special to me.
Yes, all the time! I’ve seen her for awhile the past 2 weekends! But since I’m in college, it wasn’t that long ago. I still keep in touch with my elementary school and Junior High School friends though!
Yes. Through Xanga, actually!
Yes – they’re still my best friends.
I lived with my best friend from high school for three years in college. One of my best friends is dating my high school sweetheart. I just had dinner with another ex from high school last night. We’ve all kept in touch quite a bit, although I’ve made more new friends in college than the amount of high school friends I’ve kept in touch with.
Yeah, good old Facebook
my roomates are my best friends from high school. and a few others I’ll talk to on myspace or facebook every once in awhile. But most people from high school I didn’t really want to keep in contact with.
A few. One because we work together. One because we have known each other for ages. One I barely spoke to in high school who is one of my best friends now. And, of course, my actual best friend (and because of her, I speak with her siblings too…three for the price of one!)
And let’s not forget the one I married…
Some of them. Most of them, I just talk to like, once a month, if that.
i’m still in high school. and i think i’ll probably only keep in contact with a few people.
Of course, well I mean the good friends. I see classmates out and about, but don’t keep in contact.
Some of my closer friends from high school, yeah, but there are a lot of people I haven’t seen since graduation.
Yep, but we only had a graduating class of 5. I married one of them.
Some of them. I love to reminice about how much fun senior year was.
I am graduating in may…. i hope so… it should be easier then my predecessors have had it though, because now i have the help of the almighty facebook…. ^.^
i am still in high school, but i have four friends who i am pretty sure i will keep in touch with my entire life, plus two that i will miss severely. i definitely know which of my friends i won’t see ever again after graduation, and it makes me sad.
still in highschool.
Less than three.
Even though we were always like, “Yeah, friends forever!”
I don’t want them shotgunning beers in my livingroom or having sex in my bed. So a friendly email now and then is the only real means of communication.
i noticed that i am mostly friends with people i grew up with like elementary school friends. i also kept a few friends from college.
Nope. Haven’t seen or talked with a single one of them. And I only graduated about 7 months ago.
I bumped into a few in 2006 and we went to a bar. My old cut school and set buildings on fire buddy from junior high contacted me on myspace too But as lifelong buddies?
No.
Well there is always Nathan. I want to know him forever.
just a couple and only one in person- the others just thru myspace
One – but I haven’t seen him in a while.
i dont keep in touch with my highschool friends and i AM in highschool
Not really. I emailed one a couple times. Another one phoned me once because he was bored.
Hell NO
I just keep in contact with one of my High School friends.
A few people from one of my high schools
No one from the other school. Damn cunts.
1 everyday, 2 others a few times a year and then there are others i have reconnected with through xanga and myspace.
I did stay close with one of my friends from high school, but her son got cancer and she moved to Hershey PA to be near the hospital and we lost touch. I have also talked to a few in emails from classmates.com.
no. I add people from high school as friends on facebook just to see how they’re doing. I don’t hang out with them anymore since I was too shy to stay in touch and my high school friends are basically my idiotic self back then. I became friends with a guy in college who graduated a year after me but we didn’t know each other in high school.
I haven’t graduated yet, but I’m hoping and praying that my friends from my church youth group and I stay in contact! I”m homeschooled, so school doesn’t count.
some of them, yes – thank goodness for facebook!
I am in regular contact with 2 of my friends. Whenever I’m in town we try to get together.
I’m also in contact with a guy I dated in college and his best friend.
I’m in almost daily contact with one friend from high school, who lives 1,600 miles away, and we’ve been out of high school for 28 years!!!
No – not in person at least. Just via internet.
It’s hard enough to keep up with friends from college.
Hell no.
Yes, and I turned 50 this year.
20+ years out & YES!!! I do keep in contact with them. The internet is great for this purpose.
hey man, THEY graduated. they left for college. I’m still here in hs. BUT I write many of them letters and call some of them varying from a daily basis to weekly or monthly basis. depends on which friend.
I talk to a couple of my friends from high school, mostly through Facebook and Myspace. My five year reunion is next year, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to go. It should be an interesting experience.
Yes… and MySpace and high school reunion websites have made it even easier to get in touch with those we knew too.
Yeah one, she’s married now, and we go all the way back to 1989
to someone else, that is.
Quite a few thanks to facebook and myspace. Prior to that it was only a handful.
Not really. Life goes on. 1986
If high school had meant anything at all to me…maybe. In short, “No.”
I’ve kept in touch with one girl friend from high school. My two best girl friends I met in 1st and 3rd grades. One of them brought the other two of us back together when we’d finished at different high schools. I like having really old friends, even if they really aren’t that old :-p
No! My high school classmates where bunch of snobs and jerks. The worse four years of my life. My old college friends on the other hand, where much nicer and I still talk to some of them.
yeah
Hmmm…not really. I sometimes bump into them at church or when I travel somewhere, but the relationships are pretty shallow. Shallow means maybe just a Christmas card every year.
I’ve kept in touch with just 2 people over the years, and sadly, one of them died just this past week from Hodgkin’s Disease. He was diagnosed 10 years ago, went into remission and it came back with a vengence. Now I have only one friend from high school… Becky, and I have to return her phone call tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.
Some of them….more, since I moved back to the area.
yes, but only thanks to the power of online social networking
Nope. Only my church friends from “back home.” I miss them lots!!!!
A few.
Sure We hang out frequently.
I drop a little “hello” every once in awhile on Facebook. I wasn’t really close to any of my friends though, not that I had many to begin with.
