Baby Girl
A Xanga friend of mine is pregnant and is having a girl. She is trying to think of a girl’s name and can’t decide on one. So she needs us to help come up with a girl’s name.
Name a girl’s name that you like.

Charlotte and Meg (Margaret or Megara) are my personal favorites.
With all these interesting and unique names… why are there so many girls out there with names like Sarah, Jessica, Jennifer, Stephanie, etc?
“I hate these new creative names. Often I find that people with “interesting” names are rather boring.”

If your friend has an ordinary, fairly short, easy to spell last name, she can pick an unusual first name. If she has a weird last name, pick a familiar, easy to spell first name. I always had to spell both my first name and my last name, and nobody could ever pronounce either one right. That’s hard on a kid. Also, I’ve heard that names used for either sex eventually get used only for girls.
xanga
My first girl will be “Summer Joy”, my second girl will be “Autumn Faith” and my third child (a boy) will be “Christian Arlen.”

I love the name Annie. I love traditional names. So many of these funky, cutesy names just scream “I’m going to grow up to be a stripper!” Either that or “We wish we would’ve had a boy”.
RYC: Mid 20′s?? I love you. You’re my new best xanga friend. Yeah, mid 20′s were a loooong time ago.
And I also love Amelie (pronouned ah-mah-lee). It’s non-traditional without being stripperish.

My daughter’s name is Lauren. I love that name. Otherwise I like Paige, Alexa, Hope or Riley.
Elia… I came up with this instead of dear diary and use it in reference when I refer to both my children at once then i found out it’s a real name. I combined the begining of Elizabeth and the end of Victoria so its E l EE a. Names can mean a lot to a persons life so unless it’s against a persons belief system have them check out this phylosophy that helps chose better names for a persons inner peace and balance amungst the world: Kabalarians.com

Anything but ‘Jessica’. That is my name, and I hate it because so many people in the world have it. I feel like a tiny speck in a world full of Jessicas. Some of them are pretty stupid as well, they give a bad name to -well, the name Jessica.

Oh, and may I say, don’t be one of those people who think they’re cool by giving their kids a common name and spelling it wrong.
I went through all of these names and not one of them had my daughter’s name listed~!

Aw, I feel special because I see people who like my name, Ariana.
which is rare because I’ve never known anyone with my name.
I like Elisha, Phoenix, Ashton, Ella, and Estella.
And someone mentioned not having something unusual or hard to spell because the kid couldn’t ever find anything like a keychain or pencil or bracelet with their name on it. I’ve only found one in my whole life, and it used to bother me, but I don’t mind as I get older. My name is beautiful and unique and people seem to like it, so I love my name and I have no problem with not ever having my own name key chain,
I fear that if for some reason I ever named my child “Purity” or “Patience” or anything of the sort, that they would turn out to be exactly the opposite, simply to spite me.
I know its too late but I like the name Rachel
I like:
Emery
Mashila
Vivian
Shelby
Violet.
