When you think of what this person has gone through, there are no words.
I fought for this country and all i got was this t-shirt
wow.
“fuck you bush.”
“i love you mr. president”
Is this shirt all worth of it??
that of course is said with a think southern accent
“I still look less goofy than you.”
I agree with Aslans_daughter…
Um. That flag looks like a tail.
“Torroorrism”
but in all seriousness I sincerely feel bad for him.
I just kind of gasped….No words to describe this picture! If I had met this brave soldier, I would be speechless and scared to say the wrong thing.
President commite gaffe: Mistakens shirt for troop.
hey… that dude should hook up with jacqueline saburido. i think MCTCanadian said it best. even though that’s really cliche.
Braaaaaains…..
but srsly… jesus, man. pull out the troops. …that’s one brave dude.
Hahahahahahahaha!
You’re awful Cat O Ruler. Just awful.
I agree with those before me. How could I caption his sacrifice?
God bless that man and the hundreds and thousands like him who have died, or lived with injuries, all for the sake of our country. (In this war and others.)
“i ain’t gave much to our these united states, but hey! here’s a shirt.”
A true American Hero meets the President
^What about all the American Heroes that don’t meet the President?
“Better you then me buddy.”
I got blown up in Iraq for the supposed terror war and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
Seriously though, it’s a terrible situation, heros like the guy on the left paying such a heavy price for so vague a cause resulting from skewed foreign policy coming from the the leaders at the top.
By the way…you went too far with the cheesy infomercial at the bottom of the page.
aslans_daughter said it all
Poor guy…that breaks my heart to see him.
“Victim meets the culprit.”
Like others previously, I just can’t think how to caption this.
My question is, how can Bush laugh? If I was standing next to someone who burned alive because of a war I declared, I don’t think I’d be able to laugh around them at all.
All I pray is that it is worth it.
Dan…I just can’t make fun of this picture…
“Is this the guy from the last Saw movie? Heh Heh! … ehhh……….”
“You must be kidding me! After all I have gone through. Is that what my life worth to you!”
I seriously hope the veteran (or better yet his wife) got a chance to wipe that smirk off Bush’s face.
a lousy t-shirt joke, of course.
that image is horrifying.
“here’s a nice T-shirt for your troubles …heh heh”
knowing what that person has been through- i don’t think i could ever think of a caption….
I like Paul’s caption… can’t beat it…
“well…at least you get this free t shirt!”
Your welcome.
“Why are you laughing”
- seriously… why is he laughing.. I dont know if I could laugh at anything around somone liek that unless I knew them and they were a friend.
Daniel (doubledb)
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SHOULD REALLY GIVE HIM INSTEAD OF THAT SHITTY SHIRT: A NICE HOSPITAL TO GET BETTER IN,A REALLY BIG DISABLED CHECK, SOME MORE MONEY FOR HIS FAMILY, A PURPLE HEART,PEACE OF MIND THAT WE AS A COUNTRY WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE CARE OF HIM AFTER THIS WAR BECAUSE HE FOUGHT SO BRAVELY FOR US. FUCK A T-SHIRT
I agree with RdKingClassic03
“WTF Are you smiling for, dumbass?”
he was on Oprah…don’t ask me how I know that. I salute that man!
Troop: “You’ve gotta be kidding me..” President: “Shut up and take the shirt.”
That’s exactly what it looks like to me..
Soldier: “The difference lies in the field of civic virtue. A citizen accepts personal responsibility for the safety of the body politic of which he is a member, defending it, if need be, with his life. The civilian does not.”
he was giving the president his shirt- u bunch of kool-aid drinkers. Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation Enduring Freedom may God bless and guide and protect all of our troops.
Each unit has their own logo, motto, and mascot therefor they design their own unit tshirts. The president was RECEIVING a tshirt from that Soldier. DUMBASSES, y’all are so ignorant. If you knew a real soldier or had one in your life, you’d know the truth.
I don’t see what George Bush has done wrong, he’s destroying a bunch of people who shouldn’t be in the 1st place. I say the Iraqis are just here to take up space on this planet. They’re not doing anything to benifit us. George Bush is doing a great job where he is. I hope he sends a nuke to Iraq and just wipe that country out of the map. The only thing the Iraqis know how to do is terrorize countries, they’re all terrorists.Ok, I’m going to say it, I think George Bush is good. He’s one of the greatest president ever.. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! he attack Iraq and many Iraqis died.. so what? I hope he bombs Iraq again, I seriously don’t give a crap if the Iraqis die, I hope bush kills them all, bomb the hell out of Iraq. serioulsy I think the Iraqis are nothing but terrorist and George Bush is doing the world a favour by bombing them and killing them. they just like to bomb the hell out of each other, so the Americans attacking Iraq doesn’t really make that much of a difference, they’re just speeding up the process. So I solute George Bush
I like TrueCristian’s comment. “DEATH TO ALL EXTREMISTS!!!!”
And, let’s see… does anyone notice in the background, that there is a guy who is staring at an orange flag which is coming out the president’s ass?
Oh, and uh… my caption is:
“Here’s a t-shirt. Sorry about your body being covered in scars for life.”
There are no words. That’s just pathetic to see Bush looking so smug and happy and the troop burnt beyond recognition.
It’s just a matter of time before TRUECRISTIAN swallows his own tounge nts and slowly chokes to death during one of his rants. =)
Poor guy. And there’s Bush beside him, smiling for the camera. Yuck.
“Shit son, you’re looking a little sloven…here let me give you a t-shirt so I don’t have to look at your ugly mug.”
But seriously…this makes me really sad. I hope the soldier is feeling better.
The president was RECEIVING a tshirt from that Soldier. DUMBASSES, y’all are so ignorant. If you knew a real soldier or had one in your life, you’d know the truth.
Thanks for the tibit. I don’t see how that’s a reasonbally expected knowledge or even relevent to the exercise of this post. There are plenty of things we, or even you, are fucking ignorant about. It’s a trivial exercise just to point them out.
I like TrueCristian’s comment. “DEATH TO ALL EXTREMISTS!!!!”
I don’t. The pathetic fuck wasn’t being sarcastic.
This makes me want to cry.

Wow! Poor guy!
“A t-shirt? Are you [explative] kidding me?”
wild4surfing, my lover/best friend is currently in the military, and I didn’t know that… it isn’t that I don’t listen, but that he hasn’t mentioned it. But it doesn’t matter – I still think Bush is an idiot who has sentenced many of our young men and women to die in an unconstitutional, undeclared war.
RYC: Even though honest/consistent candidates may not have won in the past, I still believe that Ron Paul has a really good chance. There are more and more people who are standing up for Dr. Paul’s message, as evidenced by his strong and enthusiastic support base. Many of these supporters are young and haven’t yet been jaded against the political system (i.e. – they’ll vote for the candidate who stands for what they believe in, not the candidate who spews the most rhetoric.) It is a mobilized, organized group of supporters who will make a difference in the primary – the people who care the most are the people who go to vote in the primaries. Only something like 10% of registered voters actually vote in the primaries, so Ron Paul definitely has a shot if his supporters are motivated enough to get to the poll booths (which they are).
why?
this a terrible thing to do to an honorable man who has made given himself wholly.
and you want me to make fun of that?
if that was your brother, how would feel right now?
If you knew his family would see your comments, would you still write them?
That is awful, Dan.
This picture makes me want to ram my foot up Dubya’s ass.

it’s interesting, while i was in korea, i met a man, Dr Kim. He is,i believe now in his 90s, and the founder of eastern social welfare society(they help orphans and unwed mothers, and adoptive families). Dr. Kim expressed great grattitude toward the US, saying that when japan occupied Korea, it was the US that helped them gain their freedom, that, when North Korea tried to rule over South Korea it was the US that led the charge to protect them. and while US civilians were so hostile to the war, look at South Korea now. i kind of wonder what will be happening in Iraq in 40-50 years.
there is rarely such a thing as an unjust war. war is mostly the result of brave men standing up to would-be oppressors and laying down their lives instead of their arms. if there were no war, even just from the founding of the US(forgive me if i forget or omit anything), blacks would have still been property till the early 1900s, the US would still have been a colony of England, the bastille would still be a prison where political prisoners of the ruling class in France could dissapear, of course all of this would have ended when the Nazi party took over, then blacks would have begun the road to extinction along with jews, latinos, and every other minority. the question isnt whether or not this war is just, the question is, “are we on the right side?”. if we are not defending the weak and helpless, the answer is no. but if we are, if we are defending the weak, if we are advocating justice and fighting against oppression, then we should stop being fat, lazy, arrogant, hedonistic americans and make the sacrifice to give our last collective breath to the cause of justice. and dont think im on a high horse, because that also includes me. when you mock a man who has given his all to serve his nation, to protect others, or use his sacrifice as an oprotunity to ridicule the leader who sent him, you cheapen and disgrace his sacrifice. it isn’t cute, funny or witty there is only shame and dishonor in that.

This is way too sad to make fun of.
I’d echo what morbidFRAGRANCE said.
Folks, these guys knowingly and willingly signed up for the military. Please do not dishonor them with your words. Many see what they are doing as a measure to prevent another Hilter from rising to power or another sneak attack such as Pearl Harbor. Countless millions of warriors and civilians died in the last world war. They know the difference of sacrifice up front vs staying blind and secluded allowing violent people to rise to power and control the fate of millions. Why is it that people are so quick to forget history?
