  • Xanga Meetings

    I am meeting fellow xangan RdKingClassic03 tomorrow because he is stopping through while on a hunting trip.

    If you could meet one person from xanga that you have never met in real life, who would you want to meet?

    Laura and I have been internet friends long, long before Xanga. I think it started about 4-5 years ago on a forum. We swear someday we’ll meet. That will be a wonderful day.

    It would be cool to meet broncomom and all of her photographer friends, too.
    And dreamingimpossibledreams and trappedinafantasy. Gabi and Christina are wonderful.

    Do I sound pathetic? I have some pretty good internet relationships. They are not weird to me.. They are healthy, and good.

  • You are going to get SOOO many people in trouble with this question. Uh huh. Cause everyone is going to be like.. “Oh.. how come they don’t want to meet me”??? So.. I think I will just avoid it. But.. I have met.. 6 that I can think of. 5 of those though.. are all related to each other. Can you guess who the other one was??

  • To be honest, most of the people I know on Xanga are friends of mine in real life. We use Xanga to stay in touch since we don’t always get to hang out as much as we’d like in real life. Until very recently I didn’t really venture out too far into the realm of unknown peoples. So I guess you or Paul (RdKingClassic03) since I’ve sort-of-kind-of-but-not-really known you two the longest.

    To date, I’ve met three Xangans. mrchuckyduck, false smile GA (who used to be on Xanga) and UR_MUSE. Interesting experiences, all of them…mrchuckyduck has actually held  back my hair as I puked seafood after 8 drinks. Oh, good times.

  • I met another Christian mom on xanga and even though neither of us rarely post anymore, we correspond w/ each other by email daily….we pray for one another and our families etc.  I feel like she is a real friend even though we have never met….someday I would love to meet her in person.
