happy thanksgiving dan! no i’m not tired of my family, only the immediates are here today! yay!
I miss them, actually.
Oh yeah, I have been for a while. But too bad for me, I can’t run away.
I’ve been kind of ignoring them…
Lol, every day.
not really.
By family, I mean my parents and brother.
It’s just the three of us today and I’m always happy when my daughter comes home! And you?
i’ve been working so much these days i actually miss my family.
happy thanksgiving dan.
Nope…. just did a little shopping with #1 son. He keeps me laughing!!
Yeah, it really wears me out. Being with them and basically feasting everyday. We’re celebrating both of my grandparents birthdays as well as Thanksgiving – these celebrations are wearing me down. Imagine this – celebrating with a birthday feast on one day (25+ people), Thanksgiving (40+ people), and another birthday (25+). At least my parents have accepted me as a wine enthusiast and so thus even I can get into the festive mood. -David
i was ALWAYS sick of my family.
LOL
Yup
We take the opportunity to fight every Thanksgiving…this year will no doubt be no exception. We shall see. They’re on the way over as we speak.
um YEA! i was sick of them about 30 min after i came home. i really need to find something to do this summer. sheesh.
No but apparently they are sick of me. They all went downsairs to play playstation3… and here I sit on Xanga
I lost all my family one day… We were making a thanksgiving dinner and everything was fine and there was peace in the house. It was a kodak moment. Mom had made everything that anyone could desire. My family wasnt arguing at all… Then that stupid Great Turkey..he came in and had a mullet.. Blew everyone away.. I was so thankful that I was in the kitchen eating the pumpkin pie…..
!
Have been all my life!
yeeessssssss
It is kind of getting to that point a little bit.
No.
I am always glad to see them come and go.
Yes, but I hate my family… and we didn’t even really have Thanksgiving
I miss them. I’m halfway around the world from them. . . I can’t wait to get there for Christmas!
Tricia
No fighting this year Wow, miracles DO still happen
i pretty much avoided them with a tryptophan induced coma
No, but then again I’m not around my family (except for my wife). We are in Japan, and or families are in the U.S. And we als had to work on Thursday, unlike the U.S.
all I have left is my mom.
and no.
but.. I found my dad on myspace today. he owes me $60,000+ in back child support.
Yes.
no! i just love them more after spending so much time with them!
They’ve already gone home, and I’ve already found the kitchen counter again… it’s all good!
I’ve been sick of my family for 42 years.
i have been all my life, thanks.
YESSSSSSSSS. Just suffered through a meal with 7 pseudo family members…only 1 of whom I even know. Ohhh the joy of stepfamily. Could be worse though…always much to be thankful for.
Yeah….but I also spend a good portion of today and yesterday in the hospital with a kidney infection…and stones. So…being with my family has been comforting.
Not yet. Almost though…
Nope, I was only there for a little over 24 hours. That’s not enough time to be throughly annoyed.
My family rules.
I don’t get to see my family, today isn’t a holiday for me
No, but I see most of them on a regular basis, so I’m used to them. Although, it was nice to sit and eat with all of them at the same time.
By the way, my sweet potatoes kicked butt!
Yes.
I gave them up for Lent about ten years ago!
very much so.
They just left. And it wasn’t without action. I was attacked for my religion…or lack thereof…by them all. Yee haw.
Sorta kinda maybe, but only my hubby…I miss my kids : l
ryan was, but he calmed down.
why is it that we always look forward to seeing them, and then wish we hadn’t come (at times)?
happy turkey day to you, jen, and the kids <3
nope, never!
Hell yes. Maybe not so much the family as a whole, just select ones and the holiday altogether.
What family? I hide from them around the holidays.
We had a really nice meal…but now half of them had to go to the other parents for dessert.
I never get tired of my family. I mean, my parents get on my nerves a lot, but that’s expected. Everyone else is on my good side.
I have only been home an hour. I talked for a few minutes and then came to the computer. Safe place.
Nah. The extended family is usually together through Saturday noon, but I have to work Fri and Sat, and my dad has a trip to the dr. tomorrow morning, so my immediate family and I have already flown the coop.
Long past.
Happy Thanksgiving, Dan.
No. Just a little annoyed but not sick, never.
I really wasn’t until someone happened to put their foot through the ceiling of my room while they were in the attic
My family is spread out over the country, but the ones close have sometimes got on my nerves… We are not close so I guess it doesnt matter
Hell no, who could ever get tired of their insane family? hahaa….my family is the best…..although, I could stand to tell my grandma that I know how to take care of my five month old daughter…I mean…come on, I know how hot the bath water is supposed to be. lol…
If I’m not already, I’m definitely getting there.
No, I miss them.
Happy Thanksgiving, Dan and the fam.
PS Way to break out the competitive spirit, against Beth. lol I think you may have won. You left two comments.
can’t wait till they leave
Nope… love my family… as long as we all get our naps in it’s all good.
I’ve only been home a week!
Aha no. But I did get pretty pissed because my cousins don’t know how to play Tripoly and I got cheated out of a lot of monopoly money.
Nope, but I am sick of that ad!
haha, only a couple of them xD but nah, i love my family, and we so rarely come together. i miss them.
I hate my family. You’re not supposed to, because they’re your family, but I do. Some people were born into this word to be good family members, and some weren’t. My immediate famile over the ages of 18 all suck at the concept of being a family, thus falling into the bad family catagory.
Nah I love spending time with the fam. You?
nope. I pretty much spent Thanksgiving with a friend…and I’m not sick of him either.
Surprisely this year, No. It’s rare that I see them nowadays..
Hell no! My family kicks ass!
Naw
Yes. Especially since my family is all about appearances.
I’m the only family here in America. Everyone else is in the Philippines…no I’m sick of them. They’re amazing.
Was just the immediate family today. Love being with my kids. Wish we could have been with my extended family, but couldn’t.
Now, being with my husband’s family would be a bit different…
Missing them greatly!
I’ve been quite sick of them in preceding years..
I’m with my Dad this year, the rest of my family is in Texas.
NEVER!!!
Of course.
Ick.
I am not sick of them, but I’m glad they don’t live here all the time. There were only 20 of us here yesterday, sometimes we have 30. Today we’re back down to 3 or maybe 4 to feed. And lots of leftovers……yea!
I had a thanksgivings from hell, made me cry most of the day.
No. But they are probably ready to kick me out. I might know more if I put the beer down for a couple of minutes.
sometimes. just sometimes,.
We are just fine.
Nope. My mom is awesome.
Hmm—Why? Do you?
Yes! Sick of the whole holiday season. As cold and grey and overall awful as it is, I cannot wait till January.
lol, I don’t have to worry about that. Except for my daughter, I haven’t talked to my”biological” family in years^_^. I wish them well, but I don’t plan to include them in my life anymore.
Not everyone only my grandpas scary drunk sister
No, never!
Nope, I’m enjoying the family I have. The ones that didn’t show up certainly aren’t bothering me
Never.
No, just one of them!!!!!!!!
My mom kicked me out at 8:15 the day after Thanksgiving. But she was sick and so was my son.So maybe that doesn’t count.
Ony got to visit the in-laws for Thanksgiving, but I haven’t gotten sick of them. I like my family on both sides.
hahaha are you?
I always enjoy my family, We couldn’t be together for Thanksgiving this year with my older daughter in NY w her family and my younger spending it w her hubbys grandparents. I hope to do something extra special for Christmas, we usually get together then. We are going to see my daughter in NY soon, shes expecting #2 grand baby in Dec, so no Im never sick of my family. They all mean the world to me and any opportunity to spend time together we do, I love them all!
Naw, I love my family. Most of them on seperate computers right next to me.
This is one of the reason why I don’t look forward to holidays. At the beginning we all get along and just happy to have a day off from work. Slowly we realized we rather be at work then staying at home for couple days in each other face. A bit irritating. We might look like a perfect family who are sweet and loving but, actually we are nothing like what we seem in the picture.
Hmmm…depends on what family members. There is a saying, “Nice to see you come, but twice as nice to see you go.”
LoL – so this was posted on thanksgiving. Naw, my only girl cousin that I have to entertain at our house was sick so she slept all day.
I guess, not really. But the people that are visiting for Thanksgiving aren’t really my family, they’re my uncle’s family. I don’t get to be sick of them. My uncle does though, since he had a screaming match with one of his sister’s this morning. Great times.
Never!!!
> ….never really get to see any, except the household, ‘n the young’uns are never a pain or tooo much bother, always doing cute, sweet things, except with the remains of All Hallows Eve, then the sweet tooth screams…. ce’ la vie….
Peace
No, I made the 6 hour trip home just to be with them, now I am back and studying. I hate studying. Take me back home please!
Of my dad…
no…
never.
I miss my family. For everyone who hates spending time with their family… wait until the year that you can’t go home to see them and then see how you feel.
