Working until 8 or 9 and then… Whatever I feel like! I really have no idea.
House party, pub, or club. Not sure which. I’ll know tomorrow afternoon haha
firstnight and a masquerade!
Staying home & avoiding all the drunks that are out! Planning to watch our church’s anual New Year’s service online…
Don’t know yet… but I have a feeling it will include an overdose of Grandpa’s medicine.
3 other friends coming over to spend the night champaigne for midnight drinks to mix till midnight (Colorado Bulldogs mainly) firecrackers and sparklers (anything good would be risking our neck with the police) reflect upon the year and make a photo album out of the pictures we took for food…oysters (in various forms) and nachos
It will be a good night for me
Sick and in bed
Home with the kids playing trivia games as i do every year. When they are grown and out doing their own thing then I will get my party on!
I don’t know !
I’m going to the biggest rave in the UK in Birmingham, It’s about the size of Popsicle In San Fransisco, about 10,000 people.
Staying home and maybe playing Rock Band with the kids and eating ‘good luck beans’ on New Years Day.
Sleeping. I have had enough of the holidays…
Heading over to the local First Night and listening to a whole crapload of cheesy bands. Oh, what joy.
I’ll be nursing a bottle of jack daniels, watch the ball drop on tv, with the sound turned down, as I surf the internet, as I listen to some music. All the while the kids and boyfriend all go to bed early. This is what happens every year for me.
eating – dinner – getting fat
watching fire works with some frens during midnight. am having lunch at an uncle’s house at 12pm. after tt, i’ll meet another friend for dinner at 6pm
I might be spending it with friends; there’s talk of going out to dinner and seeing a movie. This will be the second New Year’s I’ve spent away from my family (the first since I’ve been able to legally drink) so I want it to be really fun.
Possibly getting completely wasted with some friends. Or getting wasted alone and watching movies. Either way is fine by me. I don’t really feel like being sober on new years.
either watching the fireworks or getting wasted.
maybe a combination of the two.
Haven’t decided yet. I haven’t received any party invites, so I might just hang out with the family and play board games.
My mom used to say that it was a German tradition that how you welcomed the new year spoke of how you would be in the new year. We will probably pray, watch something spiritual, eat something healthy, and go to bed so we can welcome the new year day with clear heads and good mental, spiritual, and physical health. God bless and have a good day.
watching movies, writing my year-in-review post, sleeping. not very exciting really.
…babysitting. yay.
Working all day and staying home alone all evening. I might watch the new years shows on TV, or I might go to bed. On Jan. 1 I’ll be watching Big 10 football all day! Go Badgers!!!!!
My anual sleepover party, or course!
I’m driving to Austin to hang out with some friends!
with the usual repertoire of resolutions that fall through by march! =D
Going to my friend Jenny’s and spending the night practicing for the musical, playing Call Of Duty and drinking sparkling apple juice!
With my family… gah
I’m going to go back to Texas tomorrow, and then spend 4 hours on the plane, at least 2 in traffic, and then I’ll likely go to the park where I’ll see my friends and my boyfriend of six months, all of them I haven’t seen in seven months. And we’re just going to hang out and be kids like we used to. I’m excited, but kind of sad, because that means leaving my Dad.
Tila Tequila’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade lol and sparkling cider and kissing my dog at midnight
I have not a clue.
Sitting here like I do any other night. Next year I’m going to celebrate. SD will have to babysit.
Lots of confetti, noise, balloons, confetti in balloons, poppers, friends, noise, craziness, games, noise…yeah. It’s really going to be TONS of fun!!! I’m really excited about it. =D I have nice parents to let us kids plan a party as messy as this one (and past ones) will be.
…and we’re staying up all night…until we crash on the couch sometime in the afternoon on the 1st…lol
I have to work @ 9am on New years day so my celebration will be low key. Probably a litttle family get together stay awake till 12am…then sleep
A couple of beers and some contemplation
With my two closest friends, a bottle of champagne, and video games.
How I celebrate everything- avec mes amies.
Spend it with friends playing apple to apple and eating humus and drinking a glass of sparkling grape juice I really know how to party Life is so good! I’m looking forward to what 2008 has to offer
> Working, hopefully with a full bindle at the end of the night….. peace to all and a Happy New Year
OH OH I have a ‘good’ answer this year… I am bartending THE private NYE bash for Hillary and Bill Clinton. I still can’t quite figure out how on earth I got on the ‘staff’ for this party, but what the heck, Clinton supportor or not, I get to meet a past President, I get to meet his better half and I get to meet their near and dear friend -who will be one of 1000 of their closest guests – Barbara Streisand…
Staying home with my parents. Again. Bah.
drug & alcohol free party with fellow high school friends and college kids back from their first year. can you say “Dance Party”?
Watching tv and sleeping in. I could go down to the inner harbor, but I don’t like crowds, lol
i’m just going to chill tonight..
HAPPY NEW YEAR DAN
We will have our own fireworks……
I’m not celebrating it in the traditional way. Just going to sleep at a reasonable hour (been at work VERY early for the past couple of days), and then heading to work in the morning.
I am taking myself out to dinner to celebrate my birthday on the 1st, though.
we usually go in to the city’s river fireworks… but this year we had our friends over at our place and watched some “thank god you’re here” episodes. we planned board games too but that didn’t end up happening. But it was a good thing we didn’t go into the fireworks cos I think they were cancelled due to weather and winds
I celebrated the new year at a homeless shelter… it was a very humbling and rewarding time. We went to a service with them, talked to them after that was over, then we visited and ate supper with them, then cleaned and played games and hung out with them, then we went to a night watch service with them, and then we went to bed at like 1:30 and had to get up at 5 am to cook breakfast. Then after breakfast was made, we served them breakfast and visited with them some more… then we headed home, it was fun!
