President Bush and President Clinton will never get to serve out a third term.  I am convinced that Bill Clinton would have won a third term if he was able to run in 2000.  No matter what anyone says, I am convinced that President Bush would win the election if he ran again too.

But the whole issue got me thinking.

An Australian newspaper is coming under fire for posting a photo of Labor MP Maxine McKew in a short dress.

The photo has caused a big discussion of whether Ms McKew was wearing any underwear.  Here is the link:  Link

A top advisor for Hillary Clinton’s campaign has raised the issue of the illegal drug use of Barack Obama.

Barack Obama wrote in a book that he has used drugs.  This is what he said:  “Junkie. Pothead. That’s where I’d been headed: the final fatal role of the young would-be black man.”

Barack Obama went on to admit he had smoked marijuana and drank alcohol.  He said he occasionally “would snort cocaine when he could afford it.”  Here is the link:  Link

The campaign advisor felt that Barack had opened himself up to other questions because he admitted his drug use.  He could be asked when is the last time he used the drugs.  He could be asked if he ever sold drugs.

Do you think Barack opened himself up by admitting to drug use or would you prefer a candidate who just gets the issue out in the open?

I have read in two blogs in the last few days where a person has indicated they died in their dreams.  I have never died in my dreams.  At the point when I was going to die, I always woke up.

I have a friend on xanga who helped out one of the people she met on xanga.  She let him move in with her.  To the best of my knowledge, she had never physically met this xangan in advance.

I have another xangan friend who had another xanga friend come and visit her for the weekend.  She had never met the xangan friend before that weekend but they talked on the phone.
