Xanga For Life
One of my friends got a xanga tattoo on the back of her hand. Here is the link: Porcupinesol

Do you think you could ever get a xanga tattoo?

Nope! :3
uhh…no.
Tattoos are a recipe for regret.
I love all my ink, but of Xanga, I don’t think so
I don’t even have my KIDS tattooed on me, let alone a website. I like Xanga a lot, but not that much. And hey, what if they decide to change their logo?
not likely
No Dan I would be scared too
Plus what happens when I go for interviews I do not want them to see my Xanga tatoo
I’d get a xanga tattoo on my ass if someone paid me enough.
Don’t care for tattoo’s period, but that’s just me. If people want to decorate their body with weird stuff, go for it. I think it looks trashy, I mean these people that put stuff all over their body…they look like they have some disease. It’s not for me, but I could care less if people do it. I can think of must more pleasant ways to tell these so called stories they say they tell. I hope none of my kids now that they are adults ever feel the need to express themselves that way, but its their life.Ok, I’m not bashing people who have them, I’m just saying to me it’s a silly way to express yourself. Man, here’s what a cool statement would be for folks today….dress yourself really nice and take care of your body, they would send a positive statement
No way, she didn’t really do that, did she? Who in their right mind would??? Xanga?? Seriously!
i agree with amusing
No- I just couldnt get ANY tattoo. Tattoos are cool- but what will they look like when I am 70?
haha
no
hell no. I’m getting a Sagittarian symbol.
No. A website will eventually become meaningless, and I don’t think I could even get a tattoo of something that would be important to me forever.
I hate the idea, in general.
No
No.
I don’t love Xanga. I love the people of Xanga. Well, who am I kidding? I hate everyone on here.
excuse me, but that’s just stupid.
haha! dang it, Dan!
nope, but i’m not a tattoo person if i was, I would do it for sure.
@porcupinesol - I think you should add a small heart
@Desinflan - Xanga loves you, even if you don’t love Xanga. Altho Xanga is a little sad to hear it…
i don’t think anyone is going to say “yes” to this one, Dan.
ha, never.
@porcupinesol
YES. I WOULD.
No tats for me.
Not really. But I don’t love Xanga as much as porcupinesol.
Xanga is great, but ink isn’t really my thing. But you have to give it to porcupinesol. She’s got guts. And enough passion for her writing in order to do this.
Nope.. I love tats, but not an Xanga one…
@john – aaaw.
@porcupinesol - haha
As much as I love Xanga, I hate tats so no. Besides, if I was really bored, I could do what she did to her hand with markers.
Are you kidding? She didn’t really do that, did she?!?!
no way
it gets you a featured post though… just remember. you can always get a week in the spotlight if you mark yourself for life
nope
Nah. I don’t even like tattoos. But I like Xanga, a lot.
Not that I’d ever get a tattoo in the first place, but if I did I would just go with the five little blocks of color and not the word xanga. That way only real hardcore Xanga fans would be able to recognize what my tattoo meant.
Sure!
I could, but I don’t think I would…
ummmm………no.
No way!
@Desinflan - We hate you too! I am sure that make you warm and fizzing inside.
I have already plunked down $100 of my hard earned money to go Lifetime. Although they certainly get more attention than I ever would, I don’t think I need to do any zany (and permanent) stunts to show that I love Xanga.
I love my ink but…no!
no way. i love it, but not that much. =
I don’t think so… Xanga’s great and all, but i wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m that into it… ^^;;
@captain_jaq - I double dare you!
If they Paid me to advertise Xanga in that way – YES I would- But other than that NO
Nah, I don’t like Xanga THAT much, lol.
Certainly not on my hand.
i would have to be REALLY REALLY REALLY high to do something like that…………
No… I like it but ya know… I just gotta be me. I would however wear a temporary tattoo for a few weeks… sure.
To be sure, xanga’s logo is appealing to the eyes, but not tatoo-worthy.
Wow that’s pretty sad.
I would if I was paid to do it. Probably for no less than $100,000, though.
uhm… no.
sure. as long as I get paid 10000 a month for advertising
especially since 4 out of 5 people I ask don’t even know what the hell Xanga is.
that would suck, having people point at your tattoo and ask, “what’s that?”.
Haha, that’s snazzy-looking.
But I’ve mostly decided tattoos aren’t for me.
I wouldn’t, not at all.
Websites aren’t that dear to me.
heheh, if it makes her happy that’s totally cool.
I can’t be sure of Xanga’s longevity, but I do imagine that it is a great way to advertise your blog.
Ever think of getting that little bald theologian tattooed on yourself?
highlyamusing has my vote, unequovically!
Hell, no!
I have my tattoo, but I don’t think I will go to the extreme of having a Xanga tat. I just wanted a Xanga T-shirt.
I couldn’t ever get any tattoo. For a person who’s into both tattoos and Xanga though, it’s the ideal tattoo to get.
hmmm…..not so much!
I love tatts…..but the xanga logo is a bit too boring for my body!
That’s freakin retarded.
NO
Remy is bad ass! I personally wouldn’t just because all my tattoos are in black ink, no color at all. That would look a little weird.
i like jimmiry’s idea
Nope.
I thought that picture was of someone’s belly at first. A huge Xanga tattoo on my belly, I would never do. The hand, well, probably not. I have no money.
No. Or any tattoo. I’m a wimp. hehe
NO
No. I would someday want a tattoo but not of that. It’s not crazy ridiculous but it is a little risky. At least if Xanga shuts down she’ll have a memory of it’s greatness? I dunno.
Tattoos are okay I guess, and to those who say ‘no way!! it’ll look soo weird when i get old!!’, it won’t. My grandma had a tattoo on the inside of her forearm and it didn’t look bad. And hers was quite large. if you get a tattoo that isn’t really big then it won’t look bad when you get old and wrinkly. About those big, across the back ones… I’m not sure.
No way. I would get a tattoo of a bumble bee, for my mommy, though.
Ummmmm… nope. I’m not THAT committed to Xanga, though I do love my online buddies!
personally, i don’t think i need art on my body. my body is beautiful enough as it is without adding decorations. even though i love the site, i just couldn’t do it.
Yes. Yes, I would.
Of all the tattoos I have, I highly doubt I would put a website on me.
Xanga doesn’t represent me afterall. The people represent Xanga
If someone paid me a big chunk of change, probably.
I am not so sure..
It took me almost 40 years to decide on 1 tattoo! I’m not going to make my 2nd tattoo of Xanga. Not even for Life!
Not my cup o’ tea
MAYBE.
But it’d be small.
Hey what about a Myspace (logo) tattoo? Just a thought….
No. No tattoos for me. Thanks.
Nope.
By the time she’s my age, it won’t say “xanga,” and the colors will all be the same. Unless she gets it lasered off, and then she’ll have a scar.
No way, that would be like getting a tattoo that said ‘Canon’ or something.
no way.
Oh my gosh no! I wouldn’t get any tattoo in the first place!
Nope. I’m never even gonna get a tattoo, either. Because old saggy people with tattoos look awfully stupid.
No offense to Xanga, it’s cool and all, but I think I’d feel like more of a loser doing that than checking the actual website on Friday nights..lol
I would if I got a tats I would get that.
no way. i like xanga, but not enough to get it tattooed on me. whoever got that xanga is going to regret it someday. sorry.
uh… well, i think i’ll pass.
No
wow… seriously?
That’s a little crazy. At the very least I would want a lot of money from Xanga for adding permanent advertising for them.
But no. I wouldn’t.
Nah. There are other things I’d rather have on my body permanently. You have to go with something that will mean something to you for the rest of your life. My personal favorite would be a small, ornate cross.
it’s all good until xanga gets bought out by hippo-tentacle-porn.com… then it’s time to bust out the gloves.
only if I could get it on the middle of my lower back.

@sean - ROFLMAO
@highlyamusing -
Great quote. I’m not anti-tattoo as I’m considering one myself, but getting a company’s logo is a bad idea. I considered getting my company’s logo, but logos change. Besides, I love change and would quickly grow sick of it.
Could I? Sure
Would I? NO WAY
I truly hope that is ink pen.
Probably not, but she seems like she’s a lot more laid back than I am. I think it totally works for her.
not a chance…. but for that person, whatever works for her!
no.
lol hell no
no way. i have a lot of ink on me, but all done with meaning and consideration. i won’t ever be able to live with it.
1. How much would I get paid to do it? And we have to talk in the billions (Pounds. Hooray for pounds)
2. Yes. If it’s those where you wet and peel them and they last for a week.
aww im sure SOMEONE will…
@porcupinesol -
@ionekoa - I’m pretty sure that’s not why she did it, heh.
But yeah, about the question: I wouldn’t do it myself, but I admire her passion for having done it. I think it’d badass.
Absolutely. Actually, I think it’s brilliant. Who cares if Xanga changes its logo? Who cares if it gets bought out? Who cares if it ceases to exist in the future altogether? All that matters is that Xanga has at one point existed and in its existence, impacted lives. The memory of Xanga, the effects of Xanga, what it has done/provided for Remy is eternal, and therefore nothing else matters. Powerful friendships have been made through Xanga, what a better way to represent the friendships formed and lessons learned through Xanga than to brand the word itself on your body? I don’t know; I think it’s brilliant. And I am not getting dramatic about it to say that it has changed lives. For me personally, if I didn’t have Xanga as an outlet, my emotional health would be compromised.
Way to go, Remy. =)
@Anothermadhousewife - “You have to go with something that will mean something to you for the rest of your life.”
And you don’t think Xanga will, for her?
i love xanga…but no i wouldn’t get a tattoo with anyones name. i think it’s cool that she did. and she really likes tattoos and xanga, so it makes sense for her.
no
No, she is crazy. I would not tattoo anything on my body.
Haha, never.
No I don’t think I would want a Xanga logo anywhere on my body forever.
