This reminds me of a recent night when someone canceled a subscription to my blog, and sent me a message saying that it was because I sent too many Pulses. (The vast majority of those Pulses were dedicated to rejoicing with eadie over his featured status, but what the heck do subscribers care about friendship and special events and stuff.) I told my friends and subscribers (through a Pulse) about the cancellation and asked them if I Pulsed too much. Everyone was cool with the Pulses, and I counted the number: 17. I decided that since nobody else cared, and seventeen really wasn’t that many, I’d just blog about that. Without using the person’s name, I copied the entire Dear Jo letter and pasted it in a post and was most sarcastic. The post was a hit with my remaining subscribers… and I gained two more before the day was done anyway, so what the heck.
