No. I’ve never developed a taste for cream puffs. They’re much too fattening for the brain.
Sometimes… especially if I don’t have anything else to post that day.
I’ve done one. I like reading others though.
I answer it a lot but only if the topic interests me..
I’m slowly starting to more and more.
Or at least checking them.
Ha! Was I first Daniel Boone? What astroke of luck……I can’t be on here like I used to be….and even when I was, I do not think that I was ever first….. we’re packing up to move which equals like zero xanga time for me, but for me sneaking on whilst he runs out to get us food….like right now….that is all that I get.
Rarely. I might answer some as I have nothing else much to talk about atm.
only if I take a fancy to it
ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME!!!! I am a featured question lovemonger! I stay up late at night and think about the great dinner and movie I had with the featured question. I wonder if we will grow old one day and have little irish-questions.
I think that Ive got the majority of my readers from the featured question…
Once. But they are not exactly on the cutting edge, when they do deal with things I find interesting.
only if i like the question.
I haven’t ever answered one myself, but I imagine if I ever stumble across one that catches my interest I might consider answering it.
yes when they are interesting.
Sure, on occasion. If I feel like it.
I give people permission to hunt me down and kill me, the day I do a feature question.
Once in a while.
not seriously.
If it’s something I have an oppinion about.
no, but there’s hope….
nope. i write about what’s on my mind not what other people tell me to!
Okay, okay. But that’s not to deny that they’re probably good tasting!
Sometimes I do, if I can write more than a few words in my answer.
Only if I really have something to say.
I occasionally do, but I’m usually creative enough to figure out what to write on my own without a helpful suggestion.
i have a couple of times when it was new.
I did once because I had a story that went with the question. I’ve submitted some in the past couple of days, just for kicks. I like having the featured question there in case I run out of things to post about, but that hasn’t happened yet.
sometimes. all of the questions suck tho.
I think I have twice… they’re normally stupid questions.
I only answer them If they’re worth answering
Depends on the question.
for the most part, yeah.
Only a few times.
i never even go to the xanga homepage
sometimes
Yup, when I’m feeling particularily uninspired
which is twice this week
Sometimes.
Never have. But then again, I’m not on here as often as I used to be.
Sometimes
nope-I never notice them.
I used to, and then they got even stupider than they were (or at least it seemed like they were less dumb at first!)
hi~
I used to when it first came out, but then I realized that it’s not my intention of using Xanga. My intention of Xanga is to talk about my day, everyday possible.
i think it’s a good feature because a lot of people do answer it. i don’t personally answer those questions though. the theologian’s cafe has better questions and hotter bettys and so that’s where i prefer to hang out.
Yes.
Yes, when the question is interesting.. I answer it. I guess I answer them about 85% of the time.
Sometimes, when it interests me or if I have an aswer to it. Or when it inexplicably reads my mind and has something to do with what I am about to write about, or an idea I’ve been thinking about. When that happens, it freaks me out.
every once in awhile. It really has to catch my attention for me to take the time to answer it!
Er, yes…but not exactly “officially”. If someone to whom I’ve subscribed answered the question and it’s an interesting question, then I answer it in their comments. Other than that, no.
yeah a few times and that could link alot of random ppl coming by your site…
Yeah, sometimes.
If it’s good…once in a while
I make fun of them…does that count?
Every now and then, I’ll answer a question.
Perhaps I’m not the only one who noticed this, but wow, those featured questions have become worse and worse and worse…
I think one of the questions had to do with this certain brand of birth control or something of that sort……couldn’t those xanga people come up with something slightly….better?
Every once in a while, if it is a good question or if I am really stuck for a good idea….
I answer them sometimes, but lately they’re pretty unoriginal like: What are your 5 pet peeves & what are 5 things you hate Thats just repetitive & annoying.
No.
I started to answer one until I noticed that the “I just answered this featured question” line seemed to be obligatory. I don’t like that part, so I erased my response.
@BeautifulB_227 - The day I’m so stuck for ideas that I have to rely on a featured question is the day I’d rather be put down, really.
No because most of the time they’re pretty simple yes/no answers or not worth it at all.
@peril_awaits - Well, were you aware of the dangers of Nuva-Ring?
Wahahahahaha! That question is becoming a modern legend! =:D
when theyre worth answering. and i haven’t already made 5 blog entries that day lol
No – I don’t need a prompt to write and I’d prefer writing what comes to my mind. Now if someone directly asked me to write about a topic I would – even if I didn’t know anything about the topic. In fact, it’d probably be more entertaining if I knew nothing about the topic.
That should be the featured question, don’t you think?
Xanga has featured questions?
Sure, sometimes. I get them in my subs, and if it’s something I’m interested in answering (and if I’m bored), then I will.
The more important question here is why are you plugging your competition?
Technically yes, however it really is difficult to call what I do answering them seeing as how I think of an answer then pick a question to apply it to.
@BeautifulB_227 - You obviously don’t know me at all. Also. It’s “you’re”.
never have
Why do you ask?
The only time I ever answered a featured question was a few days ago, with the one regarding “how much you tip”. And I only answered it because I went to all the bad tippers’ sites and berated them first.
I’m with jsolberg on this one. They choose stupid questions worded by folks who obviously got D’s or worse on any grammar test they ever met.
Sometimes….depends what it is, and if I feel the need to comment or can’t think of anything else to write about.
Yes, I do answer Xanga featured questions. “Really”.
I do! I like answering them sometimes. Especially the opinion ones where I get to throw about wild accusations of stupidity. :] And I like sharing silly things about myself that end up getting at least looked at by people who read answers to the featured questions. I like to think that they make somebody somewhere laugh.
Only a handful of times. I do like how some Xangans have turned the tables on the featured questions though. Yeah, Vault, I’m talking to you…and FMB has done the same…I think.
Once but most are too silly to bother.
I think I did once.
once
Occasionally I will answer the question, though I must admit that most days questions are pretty lame.
a few times when I’m bored or its interesting
not normally
No.
@logicalemu - I’ve done that too, answer the questions in a comment. Hmmm, that means I’ve answered more than a handful then… Generally, I do not log in via the home page of Xanga so the FQ is not part of my panorama.
Nope. But I hope I get a featured post!
occasionally, but i like your questions better
Sometimes, but you do bring up the question of, “Why should I, when I HAVE THE THEOLOGIAN’S CAFE?”
Answer, yes. Answer seriously? Not on your tintype. Why? Because it’s so devilishly fun.
@CarmenDeBizet - I think FMB started that trend, actually. or was it DrugInducedDuck? Regardless, it’s really quite an outlet. Meh, heh ,heh, heh….
i will someday, but i don’t think i have yet.
NO ..
cM=}
Once.
Yes I answer everyone of them… Just don’t always feel like typing it out at the time…. yep I am just that lazy lol…
I’ve done it once….lol.
depends on the question. if they are interesting enough i will.
@VaultESL - @CarmenDeBizet - I saw Amandasbiggestfan do it first, that thing where you mess with the “I answered this featured question” blah blah blah and make it say whatever you want. And I was like, whoa, you can do that???
She also messed with featured questions themselves like nobody’s business before we did. The woman’s a genius, I tells ya!
@fullmetalbunny - once again, ABF proves the muse of us all!
Sometimes and only if I like the question
I have answer most of them, since I am starting to struggled of things to blog about.
However I do like blogging my own things.
Only when it can generate a real post. Most of the time it leads to a quick two sentence answer. Also, I hate it when they ask “why or why not”. It annoys me for some reason.
Yes, all the time. They do seem to be getting better and are an excellent way to meet Xangans. It really isn’t an issue of what the question is, but the quality of the answers. Those are no one’s fault but our own. A recent question was, “do you think gay marriages should be made legal?” Very poorly worded, but one can work with it.
@VaultESL - This is from someone who thinks it fun to hurt a disabled child. You are a member of the Klique that justified DrugInducedDuck hurting my disabled daughter. This is something Eadie, another of your friends continued to do just yesterday.
@VaultESL - It doesn’t prove the muse (illogical phrase) in any one to hurt an innocent and disabled child as all of you did and continue to do. If ABF, FMB, and yourself weren’t constantly justifying DrugInducedDuck hurting Gemee, Eadie might not still be attempting to.
@fullmetalbunny - You are all geniuses at hurting and messing with others. The question is, who gives you the right? What in the world makes you think messing with others in such a way is a good thing? You are acknowledging that your are a clique dedicated to messing with others, as I have claimed. What others here should know is, in their attempt to mess with me when I first came to Xanga they purposely hurt a disabled innocent child who has no idea this is fun to them. All she knows is that it hurts to be called names. It more than just hurts in her condition. It can effect her health. For those of you who know of Gemee’s situation, she should be coming home from the hospital tomorrow.
Sometimes. I really have no other way to get any credits whatsoever…if those even offer credits for responding them anymore..
I usually end up deleting those entries though because they just take up blank weblogs.
not as of yet…
one day I intend to have answered them all…
I believe the real question here is do you?
Once in a while.
just did- but it’s not an everyday thing for me- some questions are plain dumb…
No.
I invent my own.
it depends on my mood XD
Only on occasion, depending on what the actual question is.
no
sometimes if i have nothing else to post about that day.
So Far I have answered two featured questions in Xanga.
if it’s somthing i can relate or answer.
if i find the question interesting.
When I’m bored.
Which if most of the time when I’m at the laptop.
If I am provoked to post a response. Most of the time, I don’t feel I can answer them on my blog – though I do have a few things to say about some of the questions. Some of you may be “free” enough to say whatever you want, I do not have that “freedom.”
I did the other day for the very first time.
yes, i’ve answered a couple of them. i usually don’t answer though because I either don’t have a strong opinion on the subject, or it’s too hard of a topic for me to answer, lol. some of them are like, ” do you feel ____ or ____ about this?” and it’s hard to choose one solid side! i’m quite indecisive.
I’m not sure how this was accomplished, but someone on my sub list recommended THIS post on YOUR site and the link took me back to HIS site. Is it possible to hack xanga command codes like this? Or was this a weird glitch?
Every once in a while. I haven’t done so in a pretty long time though….
Hmm. If this became a featured Question, nobody could answer “no”.
@bluejacky - I had the same thing happen a couple days ago… thought the problem had been fixed as it didn’t do it today. Apparently it wasn’t. I’d just mention it on the Xanga Team’s chatboard.
…And to set the record straight, the claims a certain xangan is making of people trying to hurt his disabled daughter above are erroneous.
not really.
Yeah, when it’s interesting enough to answer
Yes
I answer them but not as often as I answer the questions you throw. And when I answer them, I hit *private*.. Especially if there’s something else like a campaign going on. I don’t want interrupted blogs. Wow, this sure is fun after a heart attack.
When I find one I want to answer.
Never. haha
nope.
I used to quite a bit, but haven’t in awhile that I can recall.
I usually answer if the topic asked is interesting.
Dear Dan: Of course. Isn’t that the purpose? When an honest question is posed, it deserves an honest and relevant response. This is common courtesy. One may expand upon the question to a certain degree, but only within the context of the central point. To pass the time of day, one should go to a chatsite or messenger.
Once and I think it’s a pretty good question if I might add.
No, because I choose to write about what I want to write about. I don’t need a prompt. It just seems so unoriginal.
