  • Breaking Your Employer’s Stuff

Stewie and I are planning a xanga gathering on July 10th in Houston at 7:30 p.m.  If you would like to attend, message me or her for details.

    Here we go:

I mentioned in my pulse tonight that I broke $4000 worth of product at work today.  A few people wondered whether I had to pay for it or if I got fired for it.

Do you think your employer would fire you if you broke $4000 worth of product?

  • Immigration and Zero Tolerance

Arizona is now cracking down on illegal immigrants by taking a “zero tolerance” approach.  They are arresting people “that are suspected of living in the country illegally.”

This approach scares some because they are actually knocking on doors and arresting people.  The thinking is that this is causing people to be harassed that may be legal citizens.  Here is the link:  Link

On the one hand, it is hard to crack down on illegal immigrants if law enforcement doesn’t take an aggressive approach.  On the other hand, it sort of sucks to be Hispanic because you can easily be “suspected” of illegal immigration.

Do you think it is worth risking arresting a few legal citizens in an effort to crack down on illegal immigration?

  • Your Life on Ebay

A man was a little disappointed when he sold his life on eBay and only received about $384,00.

The man had a painful breakup with his wife and decided to sell his whole life on eBay.  He was selling his house, car and even his friends.  (The person would get an introduction to his friends).  Here is the link:  Link

If you were to sell your whole life on eBay, how much money do you think you could get?

  • Gender Boundaries and Clothing

Some of the clothing that will be coming out soon will continue to blur the line between men and women clothing.

I was just reading an article about how Paris designers are blurring the gender boundaries.  Here is the link:  Link

Does it annoy you when clothing is design to cross gender boundaries?

  • Days Working

I have worked every day including today since last Monday.  I will not get a day off until Friday of this week.   That will be 11 straight days without a day off.  I think one time I did 13 days straight.

What is the most days you have worked in a row without a day off?

  • So You Think You Can Dance

My wife watches this show called “So You Think You Can Dance.”  I never really get into these reality shows but I have watched a few of the dances.

I noticed that there are certain kinds of dances that I just don’t like to watch.  I hate the ballet looking dances.  It is boring to watch.  I tend to like the hip hop dances.

    1.  Hip Hop

    2.  Ballet

    3.  Belly Dancing

    4.  Break Dancing

    5.  Swing Dance

    6.  Line Dancing (Country Dancing)  This is also crappy because the stupid country music comes with it.

    7.  Popping

What type of dance to you most like to watch?

  • Keeping Your Xanga Site?

If you haven’t posted on a site in awhile, you have probably received an email from xanga that said this:

“A lot of people have been asking for usernames that have already been taken. So we’ll be cleaning up some sites in the next couple of months…

If you would like to keep your account, all you need to do is log in and post to keep your account!”

A friend of mine, papercup_alibi, was upset by the prospect of someone using her old user name.

Would it bother you if someone used your old user name?

  • Competitive

I was talking to a friend because we are working on a project together and I mentioned to her, “I am competitive.”  After I wrote her that message, I went and started to do something else and I thought to myself, “Who wouldn’t describe themselves as competitive?”

I think by nature most of us would describe ourselves as competitive.

Would you describe yourself as competitive?

  • Seal Clubbing Part 3

I was just reading an article about an Inuit leader in Canada saying everyone should wear sealskin to celebrate Canada’s birthday on July 1.

This is in response to all of the criticism of the practice of seal clubbing.  Here is the link:  Link

I never felt guilty killing bugs.  We have a lot of frogs at night in our area and I wouldn’t feel comfortable just stepping on one on purpose.  I used to go fishing and so that killed animals.

What is the largest animal you would feel comfortable killing?
