NOPE! Love is love, and in this world today, if you can find someone who unconditionally love you, more power to you!
i think both types of kisses are expressions of love. so both are okay with me. :]
OMG! I’ve never been first on your blog. Xangans must be sleepin!
Yes.
yes. i’m not against gays at all, but it does make me feel a little awkward to see them actually be intimate. not saying there’s anything wrong with it, just not used to seeing it publicly.
Anyways,Dan no type kissing makes me feel uncomfortable. Its not an issue to me. Not even if I see 2 guys doing it. I would prob laugh.
Yes. I’m bi and almost no one knows, so when I see them I need to think about how scary it’d be to act on it.
Well, I actually prefer to see two men kissing….but hey, as long as it’s in the name of love, it doesn’t matter to me.
Michael
By now half your readers are looking at suspect pics of themselves and wondering if this is going to lead to another photo gallery.
I’m not going to lie, for me it’s really wierd seeing a homosexual couple kiss.
again, i won’t lie. it makes me feel pretty uncomfortable.
A bit. But it doesn’t matter as long as you love each other.
Nope wouldn’t pay it any mind. Now if they were in bathing suits and wet then it would catch my eye
I have never seen a lesbian couple kiss in front of me, so until then I can not say.
But the only way I’m kissing a guy (being a guy myself) is under the direct supervision of supreme comedy. haha
I don’t like seeing people kiss in front of me.
I think it depends on the kiss – if two people are really going at it I tend to think “please get a room…you know, one that isn’t public.”
a heterosexual couple kissed each other at work today while i was trying to hand back their change. it was…weird.
both make me equally uncomfortable.
i have issues with anyone who i have to watch play tonsil hockey.
Only if it is an intimate kiss but I’m not even fond of hetero PDA’s. Some things should ONLY be done in private IMHO
no, any couple I’ve seen kiss… gay, lesbian, straight has always been sweet and loving and usually makes me smile
nope
i just wish people would do their thing behind the curtains, homo or hetero. it’s really awkward.
Not really.
But most of the time I wish all couples would fucking stop making out in random places, though.
No one wants to see that no matter who you are.
Yeah, a little
it doesn’t bother me either way really… But I’m more comfortable watching homosexuals kiss than heterosexuals. Not like I stand there and stare…haha..but if I were in a public place like a mall standing in line next to a couple kissing, I would rather it be a homosexual couple.
What the heck are those two chicks doing in that photo? Kind of grappling each other. Not VERY romantic, I’d say.
Cute pic. =]
I don’t care if people kiss. It’s the making out, sticking tongue down each other’s throats thing that really gets me.
Not at all…then again, I’m bi; I might be a little..biased…
it makes me uncomfortable to watch a homosexual couple kiss, but only because it’s something i was not exposed to at all until recently. i don’t mind it; they have the right to do whatever i want. i support gay marriage, but i’m still uncomfortable seeing them kiss. i’m sure i will be more comfortable with it as i witness it more.
Neither one bothers me at all.
actually, sometimes i feel more comfortable.
because when i see two same-sex people kiss, it’s like, okay, i don’t feel weird cause they know i’m not into that or anything but if i’m with my buddy and she starts to kiss her boyfriend – i feel awkward just sitting there and watching, almost like a creep. ya know?
No, it’s pretty common here in the bay area.
That’s not a good lesbians-kissing picture. If it was a straight couple, that picture would still be awkward.
I’d like to say it doesn’t, but if I’m really honest with myself, it does a little. An extended makeout session in a public place bothers me no matter who it is, unless it’s at a party.
Nuh uh.
I don’t look at it like that. Normally when I see two people kissing, I think it’s cute as long as they arn’t half bent over the nearest object, with their tounges shoved down eachothers throat. Less and less people will be bothered by it as time goes on. It’s like everything else and needs it’s period of adjustment.
I’m in Texas.
Lesbians kissing is oh so cute.So is a straight kiss.So long as both people are pretty. No one wants to see two ugly people kiss.No one wants to see anyone make out in public.
how do i kiss 2 lesbians at the same time ?
Not really
I’m against all types of PDA that involves kissing/making out. It’s weird
lesbian. not sure why though.
For some reason, I feel that lesbian kisses are less awkward to watch.
Yeah. Its sorta weird… Its more weird to see guys kissing tho, for some reason. haha.
Can’t say I’ve ever watched a lesbian couple kiss.
Depends. If we’re talking p0rN0 lesibains, that’s a turn on, but if we’re talking real life Bud Tugly lesbians, that’s just gross.
i’ve never seen a lesbian couple kiss. i have, however, seen a gay couple kiss here, and i think it’s rathe cute! nahhh, didnt make me feel uncomfortable one bit. so i guess lesbian couples wont either.
Yes
I think it’s gross to see anybody snogging in public. But I am not in love, either.I’m pretty sure I’m a prude and a hypocrite.
No, the kind of kissing that makes me uncomfortable is when two (drunk…most likely) heterosexual girls start kissing eachother at some party to get attention. Kissing, as a sign of affection (not PDA type, but maybe some cute smoochies here and there), is not an offensive act to me be the couple same sex or not. Kissing, to let the world know how much of a slut and attention whore you are makes me want to slap a bitch.
I do feel a bit awkward watching homosexual couples even though I don’t see anything wrong with their right to marry and live like any other couples. Perhaps I need to be more exposed…S.F. here I come!
i don’t feel uncomfortable in general
either one making out hXc in public is just tacky though
No, kissing is kissing. It doesn’t really matter the sex.
no tongues for either, blech!
Of course not, it’s nice to see people in love.
I dont like seeing any kissing in front of me. ive never seen lesbians kissing. so i do not know if it would make me uncomfortable. i dont think it would so much. actually. depends on what level too. i mean, i would feel sick if it was getting too much on the heavy side.
I love watching people kiss. Not only is it sexy, but I learn alot of tips from watching.
I might be weird, but at least I’m honest.
Yuck. I get a weird feeling watching normal people kiss, I can’t imagine the brain bubble I’d get if I saw two guys/girls kiss.
A kiss is a kiss. It’s just lips touching. I can get a hard on watching a lesbian couple making out just as much as watching a heterosexual couple.
watching people kissing at all disturbs me…
Thank you for what you said on the reply to my comment on Cathy’s site [that was baaaad English, excuse me!]. I’m glad you didn’t get really irked with me, as I certainly didn’t mean it to offend or anything. I think that what it really boils down to, for me, is that I like to really get to know a person and when I stop by your site I never really feel that I’m getting to know you, or could get to know you … because your blogging style is different and less focused on yourself and more concerned with letting other express their thoughts through you. I’m guessing that this could be the reason some people are negative towards you, or suspicious of you, or even [heaven forbid!] jealous of you.
I would answer this question, but I keep coming up with too many variables to be able to answer it!
yeah it does
no
Yeah,a little. But for me any ‘over the top’ display of affection(tonsil probing)in public is uncalled for. Get a room, people!
nah, doesn’t put me on edge one bit. but i’m sure it makes everyone around me a bit uneasy. i think people are more uncomfortable watching two guys kiss rather than two women though.
It does make me feel a little uncomfortable. Then I feel guilty for feeling uncomfortable. Then I remember that it makes me uncomfortable to see any couple totally making out.
Really depends on the kiss itself rather than who is kissing. To be perfectly honest, I’d rather watch two gay men kiss than two gay women.
It doesn’t bother me to see straight or gay people kissing. The only time public kissing bothers me, is when it starts turning into something that could be taken to a more private place. I think it goes for anyone, that they should carry a certain level of respect for those around them when it comes to PDA.
I’ll admit to it being a bit strange around where I live, but it never makes me feel uncomfortable. It brings a bit of a smile to my face to see it, though, considering I’m usually one of those girls that everyone stares at because she’s kissing someone of the same sex. =]
not at all
It’s up to everyone who they want to kiss.
I think in an everyday situation though, I’d be less surprised seeing a hetero couple kiss.
I’d probably make a big deal if I saw a lesbian/gay couple kiss and then I’d feel like a bad person.
To me, there’s not that much of a difference between gay kissing and unhappy kissing.
I am just not big on PDA. Perhaps it comes from being a teacher and constantly telling kids to make babies somewhere other than the hallway. I am trained against it.
A little.
Neither, both are expressions of affectiom……
Only thing that might make me a bit uncomfortable is when they are trying to give each other tonsillectomies….. both homo and hetero…
Neither makes me uncomfortable.
@Krissy_Cole - It’s one thing when we are talking about kids in a public school. School is for education, not for hooking up. However, it’s quite another thing when we are talking about 2 consenting adults. Personally I have no problem with PDA between 2 consenting adults. In fact I think we need to see more PDA in this world as opposed to all the other negative stuff. But then again, I am a hopeless romantic.
Neither does, unless they’re being gross about it and shoving their tongues down each other’s throats.
I don’t really want to watch anyone passionately kissing in public, although pecks on the cheeks or on the mouth are okay. I do that myself with one of my female friends. (I’m female)
Couldnt you have put someone better than HELEN up? Haha ! It might have been more entertaining.
I mean, she looks like Helen.. Not specifically that it IS her. .. Oh hell, nevermind. Hhaa
Kinda =/
Nope.
nope, its love
Have you heard the new song out…. something like I kissed a girl and I liked it, cherry chapstick…………..
No. Kissing in general makes me uncomfortable.
Yes, it makes me a little uncomfortable, but more in a sad way.
Hell no.
Either way, though, I dislike PDA.
Nah, although I kinda prefer not to see too much PDA from anyone in public. Little kisses are ok, no making out in public! That said, I find Ellen and Portia really adorable for some reason. I like them together.
I’m a bit squeamish about it, but then, I think it’s inappropriate when hetero couples are “making out” in public….a kiss hello or goodbye is one thing, but to stand there in front of everyone and make out….get a room!
Ellen looks pretty much like a man anyways, so there is practically no difference.
no way! horray for LOVE!
no, i think its equal on the uncomfortable level. especially if its a full fledged make out session in public.
Nope.
Well, I’m more comfortable seeing homosexual couples kiss, whether they’re male or female.
Not that I’m uncomfortable seeing heterosexual couples kiss, but if I had a choice, I’d rather see homosexuals. It gets awkward rather fast for me when heterosexuals are; not so much when homos are.
I have to say it’s a little scary that everyone’s weirded by kissing.
IT’S KISSING! I just don’t like it if it’s a couple and me and they’re macking like no tomorrow. I feel awkward. But in public, I couldn’t care less.
The second picture looks like a heterosexual couple.
They’re both the same to me. Homosexuality doesn’t make me uncomfortable at all.
I don’t like to see anyone making out in public.
No, not really, it’s a relative situation though. I feel embarassed when I witness intimacy that leans toward physical stuff, but I kiss my son, grandson, sisters, brothers, and friends when I greet them. One of my barristas threatened me with a lawsuit if I denied him the right to kiss his boyfriend in front of my customers. Sometimes I just have to say “yes, I understand, it’s hard to be in your position, feeling like the whole world is against you, and no, you may not kiss your boyfriend in front of my customers any more than I would kiss my boyfriend in front of them”. I have noticed a trend: sometimes intimacy doesn’t seem intimate anymore. Sometimes it seems like a seedy novel brought to life.
Here is my order of comfortability: (1) Heterosexual Kissing – Normal (2) Lesbian Kissing – Oddly Attractive (3) Gay Men Kissing – Repulsive!
I have often wondered why I find two women kissing to be attractive but two men to be repulsive… lol, one time I was at home with my mom (conservative like myself) and two women were kissing on the TV. She asked me if I found that attractive and I said “no”. I always wonder what she would have said if I said “yes”.. ha ha. I dont tell lies usually but I didnt see any other way out…
Good question Dan.. and something I would likely not admit any place else but here on your blog.. ha ha
There’s kissing, and then there’s making out. I would prefer not to see anyone making out in public. It doesn’t matter if it is a hetrosexual or homosexual couple.
I get uncomfortable watching both… lol i seen this heterosexual couple kissing in public and I looked away lol I actually get more uncomfortable watching men kissing eachother then women..
My best guy friend is gay, I’ve gotten used to it. I mostly don’t pay much mind. It depends on how intimate it is really, because anybody making out in front of me makes me feel a bit awkward.
Well yes, because all homosexuals want to have sex with me, and it is disgusting. I don’t want to be reminded that they are undressing me with their eyes, it makes me feel so dirty and I am glad they will burn in Hell forever when Jesus comes back.
sort of
I’m not used to it as much- I didn’t know you COULD be gay until, I don’t know, fifth or sixth grade- but I don’t have a problem with it. Whatevs
I guess it depends. Is it just a little kiss or is it all out porn-grade making out? Because little ksises in public I can live with, but certain things aren’t appropriate in the public sphere, whether your a homosexual or heterosexual.
But, I guess it would weird me out a bit more to see a homosexual couple kiss. Not because I’m homophobic or anything of the sort, but it’s just not something you see very often where I live.
@GhostBenjimon - You are either being sarcastic about Christians or you are totally forgetting the fact that Jesus is all about grace, mercy, and forgiveness.
I’m the type of person uncomfortable with ANYONE kissing in public especially two men kissing.
sometimes, I wonder if they are uncomfortable to do so in public.
How about this: More uncomfortable watching two people of your gender or the other gender kiss other?
it doesn’t bother me either way
Yes, it makes me very uncomfortable. It just looks wrong. It’s creepy.
I’m more uncomfortable around homosexuals kissing.
i think its weird either way… i’m not a fan of seeing other people make out ya know? do it in privacy… one doesn’t bother me more than the other tho
Yes… But really, It makes me uncomfortable if ANY couple is groping and probing in public… A simple kiss is one thing, but “overzealous” PDA’s are too much for me. (GET A ROOM)
Not at all
The heterosexual one actually makes me more uncomfortable, not because it is het but because it is such a close-up picture. Close up pictures of kissing really freak me out.
Yeah, a bit.
I’m bi so I whether watch two girls go out.. Might start drooling though..
kissing is good.
yeah.. sort of…
It has never bothered me for people to kiss, no matter if it is male-female, female-female, of male-male. It does not bother me. I am straight, full out, but I understand people have different feelings for different genders. It is a persons choice, decision, and in my opinion, their right, to kiss who ever the hell they feel like kissing, whether of the same or opposite sex.
Depends on the kiss, for both parties–I have nothing against a little smooch in public, but all out tongue-thrashing where everyone can see makes me uncomfortable, period, regardless of gender.
I think I finally don’t care if it’s a homosexual couple doing it
Yes, actually. Mostly because they’re usually awkward – their bodies don’t meld together as nicely as a male body does with a female body. Rationally, I have nothing against lesbians, though.
I don’t mind seeing a couple kiss. A normal, heterosexual couple. That is, if it’s a quick kiss and not a make-out session in the middle of a public area.
^ I mean that not as a homo-bash, but more like what la_faerie said. Watching a hetero couple kiss just appeals to me more.
Yes it does, honestly. Watching same-sex couples kiss disgusts me. In my mind, it’s just wrong and unnatural.
BUT that doesn’t mean I hate homosexuals. I don’t. I only hate their lifestyle.
No. PDAs make me feel uncomfortable regardless.
Not uncomfortable.
But clearly society is just getting used to not having these kisses censored.
Nope. Neither one makes me uncomfortable. But seriously, hardcore PDA, it’s just not cool.
i don’t think so~~
i think it’s awkward for either, but more awkward for a homosexual couple.
i get uncomfortable when anyone kisses. is that weird?
Oh yes.
They’re both sweet. Neither would cause me any discomfort.
well watching two girls kiss doesn’t usually have an effect on me one way or another. I’m fine with it but I don’t have any physical reaction. Two guys kissing grosses me the fuck out. Watching a heterosexual couple kiss has the possibility of initiating a sexual response in me, though usually doesn’t. I do like that picture you have up there though! haha

Both are equally awkward or unawkward.
@dragonwiccagirl - tonsil hockey! lmao! will you marry me?
@KechiNeko244 - Only if a person accepts it.
No. Not at all.
@SouthForkCheerMom - Exactly.
I do like that picture you have up there though! haha
