Xanga Accounts
I have noticed how many people around xanga have multiple sites. People will message me all the time from one of their other sites. And then all of a sudden I will realize they are from another site. Sometimes they informed me of this when they first started the other site but that is hard to remember.
Then others create other sites just so they can write their private thoughts. They want to hide their thoughts from their friends. Some people create other sites so they can leave mean messages on other people’s sites. A few of them are Christian and realize how wrong it would be to leave a mean message from their Christian site.
How many sites have you had the whole time you have been on xanga?

1. only 1. why change? i am me, no more and no less. i have nothing to hide, nothing to fear, and nothing to hold back.
2
Three
one and a half
mostly this one
* least.
And I still have five different ones running at once, right now. Main account, prose site, friends-locked, totally secret one (oooh) and one essentially for dumping my romantic woes.
I am on number 3. One of them was a private site.
Two – my second one is recent and was created as a joke. I hardly ever use it.
2! and the other one im using to post proper thoughts, just like you claimed some did.
3. My real site (this one), a test site…where I play with my backgrounds etc before changing my real site around, and the 3rd was just mainly used to correspond secretly with one person long, long ago.
Two. This one was my first and the only one I maintain. I created the second one to do reviews and serious thoughts, but decided to forget it and just keep everything on this one.
I have Xanga. I created a MySpace page for Battletech but I hardly ever use it.
So, aside from a couple game forums I visit, I have only Xanga. Does that make me bad?
2 on Xanga — one for everyday life, one for Christian devotions/thoughts.
I also have a blog on Blogger which is my “secret” blog where I say what I really think because too many people who know me read my Xangas.
I’ve had two or three sites.
@Kestryl - Holy CRAP 5?! My goodness.
2, but I dont use my other one.. My first one was from like 1998 or 99.
I only have one whats the use of having two? Like you can put your naughty thoughts on private right? like on the little weblog entry you can check private so whats the use of having another one?? lol
I have two. The other one was for commenting on your site and not having to worry about getting nasty replies. Now I don’t care.
@CrazyXBeautifulXDisaster - Eh. Two of them are really only because it’s easier to xanga post than send the same e-mail out to different people. And the prose one is to keep my real life and my writing separate, ’cause people… are stupid and had issues differentiating between the two.
Let’s see.
Six that I can remember.
I have one site that I always use…and one that I share with five11nation for brainfriednetwork.com stuff.
3. One for a girl who got blocked from my site. My very first account that I ended because I wanted to change the username before you could use credits to do that. And of course, the site I use exclusively now.
3.
My original account that I still use to test stuff. My weight loss group account, (never updated now), and Southernlass.
Only 2. I had one that started in 2003 but when I transferred schools people would leave mean comments to me, so I deleted it and started this one (which I changed the name).
“A few of them are Christian and realize how wrong it would be to leave a mean message from their Christian site.” —Yeah. If they can’t say it from their “Christian” site, but they are willing to hide an identity to say they:
A. probably shouldn’t say it at all
B. need to quit putting on a facade and be who they really are. If they want to be a witness, stick with the Christian site. If they want to be a jerk, stick with the other.
Sorry. That sentence infuriated me.
To answer the question: Only the one I am on right now. I figure if people don’t like what I am saying they can unsub. or read someone else.
I have1. Anything more is just confusing, jeez.
i’ve had at least 10. i stick with 2 main ones
I have three xanga sites … .
angelbelle — my original which i had to pick up after i changed my user name. which I don’t log into.
this one with the new username and
wanetta where I start thoughts so that I can finish them because if i do it on my regular site I might forget about it and it will get lost in the private posts. then i have one revelife site with the same username as this one …. wow.
one.
Here’s my second account – The Clone Xanga!
@Krissy_Cole - Agreed. Being a Christian, I imagine, doesn’t include being a hypocrite.
Just one. And if I need to say something private, I make it private, or protected.
I must be pretty boring. I’ve just had this one!
Kathi
I had my old main account, before I switched to this one. I don’t use the old one anymore.
I had a couple of different sites (2 or 3 I think) that were the “host site” for various participation-based blogrings I started (tried to start…)
I had one that was totally private that I used for a few months as a health journal (long story).
This is my main account, this is the one that my friends are on, this is the one I message people from. It is also the only active account I have right now (I did try to create one on the new revelife, but I don’t like it, so I never went back over there).
The one and only….
2- the other one still exists but i took the entries down and moved them here
4.
My real one, two now unused accounts to aid in the writing of my book and keep friends interested in it and 1 to keep tabs on a girl who out of nowhere dropped me and started acting juvenile about the comments I (and other people) were leaving her. Apparently, she didn’t like my honesty with her. I still want to read her so I made a new site and befriended her.
Three. One is where I store the novel I’m writing and have it open to just a few people. One is for close friends where I can whine and gripe, and the other is for the world at large and gets the most activity from me. The other two are sidelines and probably only get a post once a month (or less in the case of the novel one).
I have no idea. I know it’s pretty high. I used to change usernames a lot. I use this one now, and sometimes I’ll check up on this one . but besides that i really don’t use any of the others anymore.
i just received an email from xanga asking me to give up one of my old usernames. did i? no! never ever.
Six.
One… and I will only ever have one. Oh wait a minute I made a new Xanga on Xanga’s Momaroo site under the exact same screen name of LadyValkyrie37. I post the exact same thing in it as I do in my regular Xanga so far. So I guess technically I have 2 Xangas on 2 Xanga sites now.
2.
I’ve had way too many too remember. When I was in junior high and at the first part of high school, I had new xangas all the time. Just because I got bored with the others. Now (as a “grown-up”) I have 3. One is a poetry xanga leftover from the high school years that I don’t write in anymore. One is a “personal xanga” that I’ve been thinking of deleting. And the last one is this one, which I use as a weight loss journal.
One. What you see is what you get. I’m me. If I don’t want you to see it, then I’ll do a private or protected post.
I have only 1 Xanga account.
seven.
this one is the primary site I use for writing, then there’s my first site that I outgrew the name to, one I used to upload more pictures when Xanga had that 5 picture rule, I had one I used to write stories on, I had another one that is personal writing, then there is one that my friend and I share to write letters to each other, lastly, I made another Xanga just because I wanted to reserve the name.
There. That is my life story in Xangas. lol
I had two before, one was just for art stuff, but now I only have one.
I have about 100 xanga accounts and they are all here:
http://groups.xanga.com/groups/group.aspx?id=1331303
the one ending in _azn are mine … lolz
7. 1 for stories. #2 is for poems #3 is my old personal account #4 is where i put down everything my real life friends aren’t supposed to know about. #5 is my new personal xanga (msoh4377) #6 is for my new story #7 is for private stuff only one friend can read
3
My very first one that I kind of grew out of but still keep around for whatever reason.
One that I created to be a crazy bitch that I have not touched in like three years.
My main one I use every day.
I have two. I created the other because I had such a demand for recipes and ideas for the frugal/farmgirl life it was easier to put that stuff on another site and use this one for my regular stories and thoughts. If I go to the other, I use this one to tell everyone where I’ll be so they know what’s going on.
2. DYMongoose (formerly LHBC_Andy, but I got the credits to change it) and LotRO – my failed LotRO screenshot blog.
Two- But I only use one of them.
Just one, I did have a 2nd one but was just testing something out a few weeks ago, but I closed it down.
I only have one and my husband has one
I only had one before this one, it was inspectorgrampy. I shut it down because some things happened I was happy about, jokes that went too far…mostly my fault, and just the way the site was going. I shut it down to take a break from Xanga, then a couple months later started this one. I wanted a name that expressed how I trully feel and this one fits it perfectly. This is the only one I have and the only one I plan on having. What you see from me is what you get. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry, but it’s me and I can be no one else!
I suspect that some of my subscribers are pure subscribers. They open a new account just for subscription purposes and they never write anything. I don’t oppose to this. The readers have their right to do so.
um.. too many…
I just have one-I honestly never thought about having multiple accounts before.
I have one personal site, one for my “trying to conceive” journey, and my traveling gnome has a site too. I only comment from from personal site.
Only one, but I have thought about adding another to write my more personal stuff . . .I might just do that today!
I have only had two the whole time I’ve been on xanga… The first one I had for several years and put something in my look and feel that completely destroyed the whole section… So I had to make a new site and have had it since.
I think 3. The first one I shut down when I got the second one.
The second one is still active.. or at least I think it’s still active.. I may have shut it down but I can’t remember.
But I never get on it obviously.
Dear Dan,
I can only keep one blog active, WhenWordsCollide, which replaced about six blogs on the Blogger service, each themed to a particular section of my personal website AllThingsMike.
I created WandrinMinstrel to spread “peace through poetry”. I created Vinylvox to showcase my vinyl record collection. I created Internet Serendipity when Liz and I were together. But I use none of these blogs now. I just can’t make the time.
I do wish that Xanga would allow us premium subscribers to have multiple blogs on one account, so that the other blogs we might create do not have adverts on their pages.
About a year ago I wanted to create a site to steal a bit of your thunder, but figured I would have to work too hard, and couldn’t find the time. You even left a comment on the site when you noticed a comment with a particularly familiar profile. I called it “The Devils Advocates Den.”
Michael F. Nyiri, poet, philosopher, fool
I’ve had two. This one since about January, and my private one since about…2005.
I have just this one, what do I need any others for?
Six, but I’ve shut some down.
Two. My oft-used public site I’m commenting from; and another, very private, rarely used site from which I can check up on some not-so-nice activity family members have undertaken on Xanga. To my knowledge, no one I know even knows I had/have the second one. I’m almost never on it; and the situation that prompted me to create it has been resolved.
i have 2. the first was one i made in hs that was solely pictures. it’s too revealing for me now, so i had to make a new one.
2. but i’ve closed the other one. and only write in my original one now.
1
I must’ve had at least 30…but that’s in a thee year span.
i only have one, but that’s hilarious about some christians needing a second site to use to leave mean comments
I have only one xanga and one uber secret blog that expresses my true evil ways. (though i guess its not so secret anymore, is it?)
Two. (Maybe three?)
This one.
One that was going to be private, but that I decided was pretty pointless especially after all my friends left Xanga (I deleted this one).
And possibly one for testing layouts, though I think I just did most of that on the main account.
<—–The one and only.
I started with 1 but it became too difficult to type the name all the time so I shortened it & opened up this one. I have another that I started (for family viewing) but I haven’t got around to doing anything useful with it yet. I guess the answer is 3.
2 that I was regularly using. one was for missions updates though. At one point there was a third, for what you said. My thoughts that I was kind of embarassed for my friends to know.
I’ve had 3 total. One was just for testing. One private for a short time. But I took down all the posts on the others and now I only use one. There’s no point in ever canceling an account though so I still have the others. They could come in handy some day.
Xanga should have a way for users to better segment their site into various identities to cut down on the need for multiple sites.
Only one. I wouldn’t be able to keep multiple sites straight. Besides, anything I have to say online I will say on my one site.
1
6,,, i think,,, i only use 2,,,, my account,,, and my source account in case i dont have a real source to back up my statements,,, hahahahahahahahaha.
For a long time I have had ONLY one Xanga. Then I kept trying to create new sites to have for different purpose. But that failed quickly.
Then I signed up with Revelife and decided to use it for my Spiritual walk. Xanga has been a big part of my life, so in a sense, it’s for old life. I will always come back and update time to time… but lately I have been going to Revelife more than anything else.
Until last night I got fed up and signed in with Momaroo. I have mentioned a lot about double life. In Xanga, I am more of a frustrated angry bitch that acts and lives like a single woman with people in her life.
In Revelife, I am a born again Christian, who is struggling to make changes in my life. Then I decided to use it as my spirtual walk with God. If I am angry or just wanted to feel like a single woman, I probably will go to the Xanga site.
In Momaroo, just only recently, I realized that I will go there to express my motherhood. To share my struggles, experinces, fear, worries as a mom. I decided recently to sign up because I realized I am in a deep need of help. And I cannot ever stop being a mom, so Momaroo to me, is a place for protection. [not from the world, or my family... i doubt i can explain this any better than it made any sense]
So, comparing to five years ago and today… I have now three sites starting from one. This is a big help. And I love it so far. Too bad [maybe down the road who knows] that we cannot combain it all three into one [for those like me that have three sites]
i’ve got two but one of them i never use …
4…one for just me to work through a situation i was going through, one for my poetry, one for keeping track of what i was reading and one for me to share about me on….which is the one that i usually use.
I’ve had three or four, but never at the same time. Right now my Xanga seems to fit me quite well…..so I don’t see any other changes in the future unless it’s the layout. lol
3 but that was years ago and I only did it whenever i got tired of my screen name.
.. just one for me!
heh just 1.
1.
This is going to sound horribly irresponsible of me, but… twelve and a half.
4 have been my main blogs, including this one. (3/4 are dead)
1 was an alternate blog for depressed rants (dead)
1 was a class project (dead)
1 was created for my friend – long story (dead)
1 was to have a private collection of thoughts (dead)
1/2 is shared with my boyfriend – all private (mostly dead)
1 is for a story I was going to write but now… (dead)
1 was created to keep tabs on people (dead)
2 I have because I didn’t want the names taken (dead)
uno!
can’t you just post your private thoughts as private entries? what’s the difference between private and protected?
only one…
Just two. This one and a defunct secret one.
I have two. This one was created in order to interact with a friend who no longer updates his Xanga. Since then it’s become a hodgepodge of thoughts with little focus. Now I mostly use the account for commenting on other sites.
The other account I have was updated recently only becasue Xanga threatened to shut it down. It’s a dumb site, but I’d hate to see the fruit of my pointless labors just disappear. I’m not sure I’ve ever used that account to comment on other sites.
I’ve thought about having different (linked) accounts for different hobbies / interests because my readership has become so diverse. But that hasn’t happened yet.
8, a least 5 still exsist.
3 ones I actually used to blog. (not at the same time– in sequence)
2 created because I thought I might use them and decided I didn’t like the names.
1 as a joke.
So, at least 6, but that’s only what I can remember. Geez, sounds ridiculous now. haha.
lol. Thats funny about them Christians. Thats why I say the hell with religion. DOnt take it too seriously! Its just a guideline for adults on how to act. As long as we do good and not harm others, like will be ok. Afterlife too!
I have only 1. But….Im thinking about creating another one so I can express my deepest emotions..my pain. I dont want real life friends to know but im ok w/ online friends knowing. Ha
I had one before this one. It was titled “Withoutbeauty” but I didn’t like the name so I had it deleted it and made this one. I really don’t want to have more than one Xanga. If I made another account for my personal thoughts, I would probably use a different site entirely
1.
one
oops
Life* will be ok
Somewhere between 40 and 50, but 30 currently active.
five total
2 private
1 shared
1 old
1 now
One and only one. Like I need more things to maintain.
i have at least 300. if you knew what all of my other sites are… you’d probably shoot me.
same one
changed the name.
i was turquoise_confessions.
Hey Dan,
I used to have one on Xanga until last night when I created another to check the privacy settings on mine; you know why.
I have a MySpace only to monitor my kids. Every thing I post here, I usually post there. Has to lock the comments on there too.
Only one. I can barely keep up with one, why do I need another?
3.
This one, a private thoughts page, and one that I had a few years ago to antagonize my friends.
4.
My main one (this one)
My sexual abuse one
My super private one for spilling things I should never spill to the general world.
And another super secret one about a certain specific secret thing.
Man, I’m just bursting with secrets.
two. This one…and one to house my writing. I link them both together though; so the other is just for organizational purposes.
If I have a nasty thing to say, at least I can say it to peoples faces…I believe they deserve the opportunity to respond to me.
too many to count. i used to have layout sites. so i had to make other sites for the previews.
1…for several years
I only have one. I never had any desire to start another for my general blogging. Plus the only way you’re going to build up a solid group of friends/commenters is to stick with the same site.
I’m now considering a separate blog to chronicle my year with two foster dogs while their mom is overseas.
just this one.
Two. My old one, Shonbori, which was exclusively for complaining to my friends about my 12-year-old dribble-drabble life, and now my newer one, EgoTransplant, which is for complaining to myself about my 16-year-old dribble-drabble life. The difference is that nobody bothers with xanga anymore but me. xD;
4, but I only use this account
One and one alone.
Three? Four. One when my brother’s friend first showed us this site, stricly for posting coppied pictures of cool cars. Then another two that night; One for real and one for pretending to live on a farm and love pancakes. And then this one sometime a little later. This one survived.
Just one.
I have the this one and one I never use any more. I should delete it.
1
One. This one. And this one only. I have been thinking of making another one that is for different things. Like this one is basically like an online journal for me. I could make another one that is for something like… well i don’t know, but for something different. lol.
the whole time ive been on xanga, ive had 8 or 9. for various reasons.
I’ve had two main ones (switched from one to the other) and tried to keep up maybe three others. My personal one (friends locked) hasn’t seen much use though. This account is the only one for meee.
2. I had the courtesy to try and kill the original before I started this one, however.
i’ve one and only one for about 5 years
One, and one is all I need. Not many people even read the one I have, anyway. Most of my friends left xanga.
Two. I wanted a fresh “deeper” start with the second but am too loyal to abandon my first love slash account.
One.
I have had 2. Just for the simple reason I kept forgetting my password! When I later found the password to those other sites a shut them down. But as of now this is my only site.
~Alexx
2. but I only get on this one. The other is from like elementary school but I do get on it sometimes to snoop other people’s pages or to see if they’ve blocked me. That one is that my friends know about but none of them get on anymore. This one that I’m on right now, none of my “real” life friends know about. Only my husband knows about it.
7
1. first site. (theatre_lover) I outgrew the name and was changing a lot of things in my life. I got a new site symbolically… if I had had the option to change my name for ten bucks I would have.
2. this site. I’m sticking with this one for some time.3. Writing site. Still there, just dead.4. Photo site. Still there, just dead.5. Dream journal. Updated randomly.6. Private journal. Locked and dead.
Wow… it really didn’t seem like that much in my head!
In total I’ve had 4 places. 2 xangas, one of which I closed a couple months ago, that was the secret one, this one is my everyday, normal kind of me site, one live journal, a myspace, but don’t blog on that anymore, it’s just for photos, and keeping up with friends. I have a facebook, but never really visit that, and don’t blog on that thing.
I love my xanga, and don’t think I can give it up. along with my live journal. Basically those two are where I do my blogging.
I really only have one account that I use. I created a temporary site just so I could test something with my protected posting once, and when it worked the way I wanted I stopped using it.
two. one I made long ago for writing/inspirational thoughts.
2. One from 2004-2006. And this one. The older one I didnt want to waste my time deleting all the entries, so I created this one. Chalk it up to laziness
7 I think, although I only really post in one of them.
only one!
I’ve had 2. I was gonna just keep my old one.. but after 6 months of non-use.. I looked back, and didn’t want to remember about any of the people/things/events .. so I made this one
Two. Because of the whole private thoughts thing. But I never write on my more public one anymore because it seems pointless.
I have enough trouble keeping up with one. I’ve never had another Xanga.
I created one when I was in high school but I barely ever used it other than to communicate with 2 friends. I couldn’t imagine having more than one site now, it would defeat my purpose.
5-6….i have 3 right now, but i only log into this one.
only one
one. its a good simple number. and i only have one purpose. xangatainment
two. I closed the first one because my ex was stalking it… I blocked him but he kept getting new ones.
I had one site before this but i took it down because It had some things I didn’t wanted my family or friends to see. and I opened this one and post things I let the general public see. I try not to post many personal things about the people I know who read it.
Just the one I have now, I couldn’t keep up with two and I really don’t have an interest in harassing people nor is my life THAT interesting that two or more Xangas could handle it and have different topics. Also no one on here know’s my ‘real identity’ I suppose you could say (most likely since no one in my real life knows I have a Xanga) so I don’t care what anyone on here thinks about my thoughts or whatever.
Well.. I have the site that has all of my naked and sensual shots and what I think daily in my thoughts of lust and imagination of certain Xangans that I just cant get off of my mind and ideas of taking them on top of Ice mountains and melting it down to a molehill …And then I have this one.
I only got the one, and thats hard enough to keep up with, so I highly doubt I will create another site. That and if I can’t be honest with people in a sincere and caring way, then I just plain don’t say it. I keep out of trouble that way.
I’ve had two going at once. One was a joint account I had with a friend. We used it to make silly entries and comments on random people’s sites.
Just one (with a recent name change) but all 8 of the voices in my head contribute to our blogging. Does that count for anything?
3 in total.
1- my first xanga.
2- my private thoughts from way back when. lol its easier to keep some parts of my life away from certain people.
3-my current xanga
Three. chitter_chatter12 I think was my first one. I just got one so I could look cool. xD My second one was xChocoBoox. I used that one more frequently, but then I decided I wanted a new username, so I created another account. My current one MoBunshin. ^-^ I was planning on deleting the older ones…but they have so many memories. ;-; If I was to delete one I would delete chitter_chatter because there are only two entries and I don’t remember creating it…
Two. Though this is the only one I use and comment with. I had created a second account after having issues with a stalker but then decided I wasn’t going to let that affect my blogging, so I just bought premium and put all my posts to protected and had all my friends on a protected list. This account is the first one I created and I’ve had it for about four years now.
3 but that was before I knew how to use protected posts.
3
-adieu, stace
probably about ten.
1 it`s all there for the whole world to see.
I had two, but then I had problems with my first account. I wrote about stuff that happened in real life (problems, fights with friends), the ex-friends found out about it and wrote “anonymous” comments (you could tell it was them) on my page. I closed that one and I am now conscious and careful of what I write about in my xanga (that was 4 years ago).
I’ve only ever had one xanga (one blog, for that matter). I don’t have time for more.
i have two.
one where i made posts for everyone to see
and one for me to vent and question life without eyes of judgement.
I have three
One.
This one.
Why have more than one? A lotta my friends seem to have at least three.
2. I deleted the other one though.
Just the one. I am thinking I’d like to get a little more professional and a little less whiny, and that I might have better luck with that goal if I got myself a more serious name. Meh. But I understand there’s a fee I can pay, and just get my site switched over… Meh. Someday, when I get my act together.
Real ones – three. But, consecutively not simultaneously.
Fake ones – several … with a friend … we made a whole blogring of fake friends. SO much fun. I think Bradley is sill a member of my “I’m Friends With Marlo” blogring, actually. (Shh … I have NO idea who that guy is in his fake Xanga picture. Thank you, Google!)
~5?!?
i have 3 accounts…one from my first xanga years that i don’t use anymore, this one, and a private one for my private thoughts =] although the internet is never truly private…
I’ve had three on Xanga. The first two I made when I was in my waaaaay early teens. I’ve been blogging on this account since October 2004. [;
5… -_-
This one (the original), a couple accounts I opened as “character accounts” for a story, one REALLY stupid one I haven’t touched in ages and likely never will again, and a site that qualifies as a true secret xanga.
I’m amazed Xanga lets us have all the accounts we want for free.
I have two. I have my main one that I give to friends/family so they can keep up with what’s going on in my life and a second one that only a few people know about that I use as a type journal to vent.
about 4..I would change a layout and there wuld be no way to write new posts..
one.
I’ve had a total of 4 Xangas I believe. I really don’t understand why I thought I needed more than one though. It’s stupid to create one for private thoughts….that’s why you have the option to make your entries private.
There really is only a need for one Xanga.
I used to have 2 for no damn reason. Then I deleted my second one and I don’t plan on ever having a second one again. No point really. If I’m going to be a bitch to someone, they’re going to know it’s me doing the bitching.
I’ve had 2. One when I was really young, and then I decided it was time to grow up and I got a new one.
i have one xanga, one myspace, and a few others, but only one xanga!!
Just one.
I considered making 2,
but then, thats 2 passwords/usernames to remember. lol
I like to keep it simple.
Just this one. I’ve been Captain_Jaq forever.
@logicalemu - agreed.
If i express dissent, then usually, I’ll just tell them to their face. lol
one
UNO
I have had 3 in the past but the other two I don’t even remember the passwords for. — I have 2 other blogs elsewhere —-
I have another standby account, just for your information. It’s empty, btw. It’s always better to have another Xanga account just in case your old site got hacked or you were locked out.
2. But only because the first got hacked at the library.
i’ll admit it. i HAD two. one that i still have. and one i made when i was in high school when i was dating this guy. cheesy, yeah yeah..
ive had two. this is my second one. the first one i only used for a couple months but then i got this one because when i signed up for my first one i just didnt like the username. lol
3. I only changed my sites when I got bored of them.
And it’s fucking retarded to have more than one site at one time. If you’re afraid to say something mean from one site, don’t be a pussy and create a new one. Grow some balls or shut the fuck up.
there are 2 places i visit with people i have known most of my life, or all of theirs. after having been offline for nearly 7 years i came back only recently. there is an individual at the other site who creeps me out, and won’t go away. he creates new identities and uses them to contact me and creep me out some more. i don’t know why. i am not interested in knowing how his mind works or what his problem is. i know it sounds cold, but that is the way i honestly feel. i came here accidentally, after following a link during a latin tutorial. i looked around and thought i might have found a more comfortable place to talk with the ones i love. most of them still attend the other site; all some people have to do is see the words “christian” or “christianity” and every word spoken or typed thereafter falls on deaf ears or blind eyes. i’m probably not what is commonly referred to as a good christian. i feel less than kind sometimes and think some pretty bad words too. sometimes i even say them. i’m still working on being a better person. This is a very long way from the girl i was for a long time, one who was angry with God for so many years and bitterly blamed him for taking my daughter, mother, husband, sister and father away from me. i don’t hate anymore. i’m glad. it was a dark place to be. my profiles on both places are nearly identical. the main differences between them are the differing formats, and my user identity, which was already taken when i came here, so i used an old nickname from my twenties. i didn’t really like that name, it always bothered me, so i changed it as soon as i figured out i could. i started out using my whole given name and was bombarded with messages from my son and brother that that is not how it’s done. i have no need to be any different here than i am there or in my real life, because everywhere i go, well, there i am, and who i am is all i really have. admittedly, i’m a handful. and a half. at least. i do not see me changing that in any part of the future to appease anybody’s need to have me be different, and i am all kinds of insolently happy to stand face to face and have a little chat with anyone who has a problem with that.
whew.. i didn’t mean to write such an epic saga, it just sort of came out that way. see ya
I only have one Xanga site. Now that you have bring this up I’m thinking about opening another Xanga account.
One.
honestly like 50
i get bored easily =P
I have one Xanga account. If I want to say something, I will. If I want to hide my rantings, I do. Yes, it would be nice to be able to speak out on certain things, but then maybe it is better to hold one’s tongue since we are going to be accountable for all of our words.
9?
I don’t do much public blogging anymore.
well, i have 7 other sites
3
Only 2. I used to be known as iruletheworldbetterthanu, you might have heard of me. Or not, since I never wrote anything on it and shut it down like 3 years ago. Then I decided to give Xanga another chance, and I’m glad I did.
Just two. I have my main site, the1stacy, which is this account. It is my blog. If I want to hide something, I set it to private. Or I -gasp- don’t post it on the internet! xD
I also was posting to stacyenspain for 10 weeks. It was a travel blog while I did a study abroad in Spain–I could give the address to just about everybody without the risk of them reading the archives and reading the nasty details of my breakups when I was 16 and 17 years old.
ive had three…. my very first i forgot the password haha till this day i just cant member… so i left it alone… i seriously wrote like 5 entries on that one… the second i was going to delete… but i wanted to keep it.. for memories ya know? people were being nosy and stuff… so now i have this “secret” xanga…. I love this one.. ill be having it for a looooooooooong time. I hope hehe
Three.
5. Two’ll be recycled; the other three are still in use.
2 but i deleted the old one because i didn’t like my username
but i dont go bach and fourth, this is my main main account
Just the one I have now…
3. My first one was discovered by my parents who insisted on reading it so I stopped writing. The second I just never really got into, so when I decided to start keeping up with xanga again I wanted to start fresh with a third.
some people have multiple sites and use them to comment and compliment each other.
i have one xanga site. one. i have but one xangan personality – my own.
A lot. Lying abandoned somewhere.
1
two
I have two. The other one I started because I wanted to use it to write about really personal stuff. At first I was totally freaking out when other people who were subscribed to this one found out about that one……but over time I am trying to not hide behind a mask. If people find out, they find out, and I’m okay with that.
Umm 5…
1st one shut down because it had too many bad memories, lasting me from January 05 to August 05
2nd I abandoned for similar reasons, taking me up to new years
3rd I just couldn’t get into, abandoned it after 3 weeks
4th someone threatened to use it to get me suspended from school so I shut it down, lasting until June 06
5th… that’s this one! Still going after over 2 years ^_^
2. I started a different one mainly because I got a bunch of weird comments on this one from commenting on this site. But now that I hardly ever update I don’t care if this site gets random comments from liberals who want to argue with me. And if I get a comment from someone I actually want to communicate with I would feel weird saying, “by the way, here’s my ‘real’ blog!”
Oh, by the way, my alternate site was Justiceandliberty. I don’t use it anymore.
This is my third one. I create things because I get bored.
Statement: I was harassed last year by some mindless idiot under the alias “Yonoya” who created multiple accounts which I blocked one by one.
And she kept this up for a grand total of 2-3 months, which I judge, is a remarkable ammount of time to be wasted on something so trivial and pointless.I’m not quite sure what her objective was, or what she wanted from me, but after 3 months of spamming and irreverent comments without support, like; “EMO SPAM” and “YOU ARE AN EMO SLUT”,and “EMOS UNITE”, and “DO NOT DENY YOUR EMO-NESS”,,,, I finally found out how to use the cbox user blocking thingie, and permanently removed her.She never actually used her created xanga accounts to post COMMENTS. What a strange spammer. Haha. Die, “Yonoya”. I hope everyone related to her knows what a despicable person she really is online.
*phew* that was a mouthful. Sorry, guys. I’m just a little pissed off at the pointless spam.
But anyway, as for Dan’s question:
—- ONE. (and I’m very proud of it)
Under 20. After a while, I lost count…
