Comments (153)
wanted
Well if I were going it would be Iron Man but since I have not made it to the movies since King Kong I ll save the money for gas and wait for it to come out on DVD……..
The Incredible Hulk.
uh… what about WALL-E! LOL :]
I saw Iron Man and it was amazing!~ xD I wanna see the Incredible Hulk next, I think.
Maybe the Happening but probably Get Smart. I’ve already seen Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. I actually think Wanted looks interesting too, but I would like to wait until it’s been out for a little while.
You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. I gotta see that one!
Iron Man.
Get Smart. I lurve Steve Correll.
P.S. *subliminal msg* You want to vote for me in Miss XangAmerica…. *end subliminal msg*
WALL-E
The Happening… seen Get Smart and Prince Caspian…
I’ve already seen 2, 4, 5, and 6. I still want to see 1 and 3 but I probably won’t get around to it. Out of these choices, tonight I would want to see 7 Wanted. But I am going to the movies tomorrow to see Wall-E (:
wanted. oh yeah, something to do tonight.
WALL-E!!! For sure!
What’s up – no Kung Foo Panda??
I really don’t care about what we see – it’s really all about the popcorn.
It would be a toss-up btwn Chronicles and Zohan… two complete opposites of the movie genre spectrum, but to those who criticize my movie tastes, to them I say: bite me.
Over and out
Wanted.
WALL-E
Iron Man. Definitely the best superhero movie around.
Premise: a brilliant, charismatic, and insanely rich engineer is the brain behind a weapon’s company, that sells weapons to the American government to use in the army.
He finds out that those weapons somehow are making their way into the hands of people who use those weapons to terrorize and otherwise control innocent civilians in some middle eastern country.
While a prisoner, he invents a miracle-battery, that can be used to power up an extremely awesome piece of machinery — in effect, an exoskeleton.
This superhero has everything: looks (robert downey jr. mrowr), brains, morals, fair business practices, patriotism, and a certain amount of aloof narcissism that makes for great one-liners.
By comparison, Hulk is always just a victim of his circumstances. Meh.
Wanted or Get Smart
Oh. And. WALL-E is what I’m seeing tonight, but it’s not fair to recommend something I haven’t seen yet.
My guess is I’m going to love it. It looks adorable.
Hmmm… I’ve heard Wall-E is very good. Get Smart has been at the top of my to-see (but probably won’t) list. Iron Man has gotten good reviews, but I’m not into super-hero movies.
Indiana Jones. Still haven’t seen it yet, but I love his movies.
WALL-E
WALL*E
It would be a toss up between Indiana Jones, Get Smart, and The Happening.
toss up between wall-e or get smart
i’d go see Wall-e
I’d go see WALL-E…and would highly recommend Indiana Jones and Get Smart =]
Get smart was very entertaining. Surely worthy of sharing the name of the original black and white TV series.
chronicle.
last night my man and I saw get smart and hulk. tonight we were gonna see WALLLLLE and wanted. until we got into a fight. we’ll go this weekend
wanted
Wanted, but I still haven’t seen Ironman.
Narnia!! well maybe not because I’ve already seen it twice..
And I just saw get smart on Wednesday..
So 3, 5 or 9 I think..
you go to the movies a lot
WALL-E; it’s getting great reviews on RottenTomatoes.com (98% fresh last time I looked). We saw Get Smart last weekend and really enjoyed it.
WALL-E
WALL-E! Or perhaps Kung Fu Panda, maybe Iron Man… it would depend who I was going with.
Definitely Wall-E – though Get Smart wouldn’t be bad either.
DO NOT GO SEE: You Don’t Mess with the Zohan
It is the biggest piece of crap I have seen since “Blades of Glory” and/or “Meet the Fockers”. Unless you enjoy the constant eruption of sexual inudendoes (sp?) and jokes through a whole freaking movie.
get smart, wanted, or wall-e
WALL-E. My friend said not to waste eight dollars seeing the Narnia movies.
Wall-E, with my son and GF.
What about Sex And The City?
We almost went to see Get Smart tonight at the drive in, but started getting bad thunderstorms.
Already saw The Happening, Indiana Jones, and Zohan, which was stupid but silly.
We’ll probably see Hancock next weekend, because we love Will Smith, and Wall-E, but not the others.
My kids might go see Hulk and Iron Man. I’m not interested.
Wanted
Haven’t heard of Wall-E, The Happening, or You Don’t Mess With The Zahan, but any of the others would work for me. Haven’t been to see a movie at the theatre in a while though. Not even sure what the last thing I saw was. My daughter has like 400 DVD’s, so if I want to see something I can go see what she has.
zohan 8
WALL-E ;D It sounds cute!
If I were old enough, I would see Wanted, but since I’m not, I would see WALL-E.
I’m actually going to see Wanted tomorrow.
The tenth one on the list
I would watch Prince Caspian. I haven’t watched it yet. I bet I will just wait till it comes out on DVD, I’m just that kind of person.
wanted
If I were going, #9 WALL*E.
It looks good/clean and cute/neat.
1. Seen it. No better than the first.
2. No, thanks.
3. Seen it. They failed miserably at science.
4. Boring.
5. Boring.
6. Heard it sucked.
7. Doubtful
8. Oh, dear god, no.
9. Maybe.
Looks like WALL-E, but I’m not happy about it. I’d watch if it was free, but I’d certainly not pay money to see it.
9
Get Smart, since I already saw Prince Caspian.
Get Smart
followed very closely by Narnia
I actually would have picked Kung Fu Panda if it had been listed. I haven’t seen it, but I’ve only heard good things about it.
WALL-E!
Indiana Jones again. Or Get Smart. But I’m going to see Get Smart next Thursday, so I’d wait till then to see it. Indiana Jones it is.
Maybe WALL-E…
idk, I’m not much of a movie person.
WALL-E!!! Hands down!
WALL-E
It looks so cute and funny!
wall-e !
WALL-E! WIthout any kids too…
I already saw Prince Caspian, and it was awesome. I would love to see WALL-E. I would like to see Prince Caspian again though.
Have a nice day.
The Happening
Well, they all sound like crap, so none of them… D8
I hate modern day films… you can go back 20 years and find the same concept/plot line, except with crappier effects and different looking scence/actors.
Eh, I just hate films.
Wall-E, because I’ve already seen 1, 4, 5, and 6.
wanted or wall-e both look awesome/
WALL-E
Hulk was good, Get Smart was funny, The Happening was fun to make fun of, and Zohan was…..interesting and funny.
But WALL-E reminds me of Charlie Chaplin from what I’ve seen. A robot Chaplin.
We’re seeing WALL-E tomorrow! <333
@la_faerie_joyeuse - AAAANGRY TREEEEE!
I’m so torn… Wanted or Zohan…. Jolie is hot… Sandler is hot and funny… fuck it… I’ll wait for them both to come out on DVD.
If I were going to go to the theater it would have to be Indiana Jones. I havent gone to a movie in years,I always wait for them to come out on DVD and then buy what I want to see. For the price of a cpl of tickets and snacks I can watch it whenever I want.
WALL – E
I’ve already seen the first six, and I rarely just see one movie on Sunday afternoons. This weekend, I’ll probably see Wanted and WALL-E. You Don’t Mess with the Zohan is of little/no interest to me.
the happening sucks!! it’s SO bad.
i watched get smart yesterday. it’s a good one.
if i’m going out tonight, i’ll pick Wall-E
Either 1 or 5 but I saw Kung Fu Panda tonight…
I’d go see Wall-E. I saw Iron Man.. it was amazing, and I did not want to go see it at all. I didn’t know anything about the comics, so it was all new to me.
If you had asked me this yesterday, I would have said Iron Man. I think that is still an excellent choice, but after the review I heard this morning about WALL-E, I would have to see that one first!
(and I don’t usually go to children’s movies. This one is alright for the kids, but… well – I think you just have to see it!)
Prince Caspian. I love C.S. Lewis. My dad read all those books to my brother and I when I was about five.
Get Smart, probably
get smart…… AGAIN!
I stayed in with amigos and watched Harold and Maude. And it was awesome.
@another_rebel_without_a_cause - Wow, at first I had no idea what you were talking about.
But that’s not the worst of the science. It’s possible that plants COULD emit some chemical that’s harmful to humans. However, to do so in the concentration required to kill, one would literally have to be enclosed in a vast greenhouse PACKED with poison plants. Certainly, an urban center would not be in danger. Even IF there was some chemical, somehow released by plants, in a concentration that could kill, it would poison us, not alter human psychology so radically (in about five minutes) that the survival mechanism – an instinctive ingrained reflex, honed over millennia of evolution – would “reverse” itself. Furthermore, this chemical would not be human specific- it would harm most species of mammals. Even the idea of ANY (even artificial) chemical designed to force people to commit suicide (particularly with the given symptoms) is absurd, but the idea that blocking neurotransmitters can cause such a reaction? Absolutely crazy. Surely, blocking neurotransmitters can cause depression, which can over time cause suicide in some individuals (hence SSRIs), but directly causing a lack of conscious thought? UGH, QUASI-SCIENCE!
@la_faerie_joyeuse - at least it wasn’t The Village.
I knew Happening would be bad. It was just too worthy of mocking to pass up. Personally, I love that the kid from Disney’s The Kid got shotgunned in the chest.
Basically, I went for the crazy killings and because I wanted to Mystery Science Theater it.
Either Indy or Get Smart. I’ve seen all of the rest of your list that I’m interested in.
I’ve been seeing hella movies this summer.
Wall-E was fantastic, I saw a midnight premiere last night.
Get Smart
1, 2, 4, or 9.
I’ve already seen 1 and 2 though. But I promised some people I’d see those with them sometime so….
Just got back from watching WALL-E.
I did not see any of these movie’s trailer. By sound of the movie’s name I pick Get Smart.
Iron Man, although I’ve seen it already. Why? Robert Downey Jr.
wall-e or get smart. i’ve been wanting to see both for a looooong time. I’ve already seen the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man and both where awesome… I recommend both to everyone!
how about yourself?
Probably Iron Man.
I’ve heard great things.
WALLE
Get Smart!!!!!
I just saw that movie the other day and it is HILARIOUS!! I would go see it again. It was that funny and good.
I’m going Tuesday to see WallE for my Sweet 16! It’s going to be awesome!
If I was old enough I’d want to see Wanted. Generic action movie, but I want to stare at the dude guy from “Starter for 10″. I love his nose freckles.
Ironman…
again.
You can really tell that list was put together by a male.
Wall*E! =)
Get Smart.
@another_rebel_without_a_cause - I got dragged by my roommate, who spends 95% of her time online writing fanfic, and was starved to actually get out of the room and do something. Plus she’s really into scifi/”supernatural” type stuff like X Files (and she really wanted to see the trailer for the new X Files movie coming out, and guessed that it’d be leaked on opening day for The Happening). None very good reasons, but she has access to all my stuff when I’m gone, so I figured I’d best be nice.
If I’d ever seen the Disney thing you reference, the movie might have been a little bit more amusing. As is I was laughing and crunching loudly on snacks I sneeked in, mostly during the bloodier parts. Fortunately, my roommie is a science major, too, so we got to be outraged together.
i’m so excited to be seeing Wall-E bright and early tomorrow
Get Smart
Probably The Happening, I’ve already seen Get Smart (great movie) and though Indiana Jones, Iron Man and Prince Caspian would look great on teh big screen, I’m kind of in the mood for something scarey
eh none of that crap. I want to see Hancock though!
WANTED. the whole fucking world is raving about it. so imma watch it. tonight, as a matter of fact.
Indy 4. I can’t believe I still haven’t seen it. He’s one of my top interests. I LOVE INDIANA JONES. The movie theater by my house is like 9.75 for a ticket so I’m waiting for it to go to the dollar theater, lol. $10 a ticket is ridiculous.
Not much of a top nine there, mate.
With lots of hope I’d watch “Get smart”.
hulk or zohan!
saw zohan. Liked it….but really hard pressed to recommend it cuz so much inuendo about promiscuous sex with all these old biddies! really zany. sweet undertones……humorous how similar Israelis and Palestinians are portrayed……and how here in the USA, none of that matters anyway. YEA USA!
Shoot, I didn’t see WALL-E was in the list the first time I read it! Oh, I’d definitely see that, and the Hulk second.
Wanted
I’m going to the movies today and we’re gonna see Wall-E. It’s gonna be my daughter’s first movie.
“WAll-E”! I I love Pixar! Plus, I’ve either seen the rest on your list or don’t care to see them.
WALL-E
See a movie? No, no, I’m in line for The Dark Knight.
I’ve seen all but 8 and 9, get smart was awesome.
@season - What else is out?
1.
already seen 3 of them: iron man is fantastic, wall e is great, hulk was pretty lame. i guess caspian or get smart just b/c i haven’t seen either yet.
I went to movie tonite! WANTED!
ME GO SEE WALL-E!!!!
WALL-E! Pixar never disappoints.
Respectively, The Happening, Wanted, Wall-e
Allthough this is because i already saw Indiana Jones & Don’t Mess With the Zohan, and i’d certainly recommend the first much more than the last. however, my next movie trip will probably be to see The Dark Knight. I love Heather Ledger =/
Wanted. I’ve seen most of the other ones. Iron Man and Hulk is good. Indiana and Caspian is decent. Wall E would be my other option.
all except 7 and 8
Prince Caspian was pretty dang awesome, but since I’ve seen it, I would go see WALL-E.
Wanted and WallEEEEEEEE
incredible hulk.
get smart is going to be AWFUL. ann hathaway(sp?) as agent 99? no thanks.
I would probably see Get Smart or Zohan. Lots of luv
If it was out here, I’d see Wall-e or Get Smart
Depends. If I go with my husband, probably Iron Man.
If I go with my nephew, then Get Smart.
The Happening and Wanted are also contenders.
The rest are films I’ve either already seen (Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones), or have no desire to see (Wall-E, Incredible Hulk, Don’t Bother with Zohan).
I’d go see the Incredible Hulk for the third time.
update: wall-e and wanted were great! :]
Wall-E. Number 1,4 and 6 was great. Don’t watch #8 while you’re eating food.
The Happening for sure. I love post apocalyptic crap. I used to dream when I was a kid that we’d have to blow the passes surrounding the valley we live in and survive off the land LOL
Aw what kids dream LOL
Karen
I’ve already seen Indy 4, so it would be between Prince Caspian and Get Smart. My dad said Get Smart was good so I would probably see that one.
I saw Wall-E tonight. It was cute.
the happening..just a recommendation, zohan was really stupid!!!!
Gotta see Indie!!
Probably “Get Smart”. I used to watch the series all the time. If anyone can step into the late Don Adams’ wacky phone-shoes today, I guess Steve Carrell is the guy.
I’ve only seen Caspian.. but it was awesome
I’ve already seen Iron Man, Indy Jones, and Zohan, next on the list are Hulk, Get Smart, and Caspian
Hah, Friday was the day for movies.
I got invitations from 2 different people to go see WALL-E but I was out of town. And then I saw this post.
So yeah it’d be 9, WALL-E.
Prince Caspian.
I’m going to see WALL-E tonight but I want to see Get Smart, too. It looks pretty interesting.
I’ve seen 4 out of nine of the movies listed.
And all 4 of those movies were great, in my opinion.
All were intense, HD action flicks, (except for “Get Smart”, which was one of them — and very awesome) so for a change, I wanna see….WALL-E!!!!!
You Don’t Mess with the Zohan..saw it..it was stupidly funny i liked it
