The California Supreme Court ruled that doctors are not allowed to use their religious beliefs as an excuse to not treat gays and lesbians.
Two Christian fertility doctors refused to artificially inseminate a lesbian. A law was used that was originally designed to protect patrons based on their race from being discriminated against by “hotels, restaurants and other public services.” Here is the link: Link

A group of Christians from the U.S. attempted to bring more than 300 Bibles into China.
Chinese officials confiscated the Bibles and will not give the Bibles back.
The Chinese government will only allow Bibles to be printed at one plant in China and the Bible is made available in bookstores. The concern by the government is that if believers are left unchecked, they may try to challenge the Communist Party. Here is the link: Link
The Bible tells us in Romans 13:1-2 to obey government authority:
“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is
no authority except that which God has established. The authorities
that exist have been established by God. Consequently,
he who rebels against the authority is rebeling against what God has
instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

A boy who was molested has been sued for child support by the woman who sexually molested him.
The boy has been ordered by the judge to pay $50 a month in child support after a woman who was 19 years old sexually abused him. He was 15 years old at the time of the abuse. Here is the link: Link

A school district in Texas has approved a plan that will allow teachers to bring guns to school.
The district superintendent said it was a matter of safety.
He said, “We have a lock-down situation, we have cameras, but the
question we had to answer is, ‘What if somebody gets in? What

This question is for the ladies but I want to say in advance that I think most of them will not answer honestly.
So much has been written about “When Harry Met Sally” and whether men or women can be friends. But I want to look at the other issue of men innocently flirting with their female friends.
I tend to think that most women actually prefer that their male friends innocently flirt with them a little. I have read too many posts by women who complain about going unnoticed. Innocent flirting actually lifts the self-esteem a little.
Do women prefer male friends who occasionally flirt or do they prefer male friends who will never flirt?
I was just reading an article about how mothers are bringing their daughters to the spa in order to get their daughters a bikini wax. Apparently girls as young as ages 10-12 are being brought in by their mothers.
