Is Barack Obama a House Negro?
The number 2 leader in Al-Qaida referred to Barack Obama, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice as “house negroes.”
Ayman al-Zawahri said that Obama is the “direct opposite of honorable black Americans” such as Malcolm X. Here is the link: Link (Oddly if you do a google image search of “house negro” you will see photos of Obama, Powell and Rice on the front page).
Now a house negro was a slave that got to live and work in the house of the master and usually was given better food and clothing but he was still a slave. The house negro would do the bidding of the white master.
I listen to an African American radio station while driving to work every day and one of the announcers mentioned that Obama had a news conference a week ago and he was surrounded by white men.
Do you think Obama is a house negro?

what an absurd question
No, he’s a master. He has slaves.
No, but even if he was, at least he’d be living in a house whereas that fuck’s still holed up in a cave somewhere, pissing into a bucket.
He’s definitely not a slave when he has the power to run America.
Sounds like it! HAHA nice one Dan lol I’m not racist though people, don’t attack me!
lol
I think we need to move beyond this kind of far beyond passe bullshit. News flash: this is the freaking 21st century. Move with it people.
Are we reporting what every foreign dumbass says about our country now? Whatever. News agencies are scraping the bottom.
*sigh*
and why are we even sitting here talking about what some wacko who wants to rule the world using violence & intimidation thinks?
@listen_to_The_Pixies - crudely phrased but definitely true!
I listen to an African American radio station while driving to work every day and one of the announcers mentioned that Obama had a news conference a week ago and he was surrounded by white men.
Well, President-elect Obama will be nominating an African-American attorney general.
Ayman al-Zawahri said that Obama is the “direct opposite of honorable black Americans” such as Malcolm X.
These Al Qaida members sound like the pigs from animal farm.
Dear Dan,
Thank you for your recent visit to and comment on my blog.
I wish the media and pundits and everyone would stop mentioning that Obama is black. Truthfully, he’s of “mixed race”. A lot of Americans are mixes of many nationalities and races. That’s some of what makes us Americans.
I can clearly see why a Muslim might honor Malcolm X over Obama, since Malcolm X was a Muslim and Obama a Christian. However, calling anyone a “house negro” these days is a bit of a slur.
We should address Barack Obama as “Mr President-elect.” and after January, Mr. President.
Michael F. Nyiri, poet, philosopher, fool
This is a ridiculous non-issue.
Can’t move far without finding slavery… You should have a little red button beside the question.. just something that people can press while they think of all the associations that the word Negro has…
still, what better person
did you vote palin?
Yes and No. No he isn’t anyone’s slave. He worked hard, campaigned hard, and won the presidency. If he’s surrounded by white men, it’s because he’s the first to make this break through.
Aaaaand yes. Because all politicains are slaves to the politically correct system. Their lives under constant supervision. They’re voted in because they’re popular with some group of people some where. If they get ballsy and start spouting this and that they might lose that popularity and then not be elected again.
@OwenHiggins - I wouldn’t vote Palin. That woman is a terror in my opinion. <33
What’s the point of this question?
How exactly are you trying to validate your discussion topic with quotes from the no. 2 in al Quaida, and Google Image Search?
Echoing the sentiments of LucyWrites. Why even perpetuate these questions? This is a huge step backwards for this blog.
I thought that we had all moved on from the race issue. I don’t think Obama qualifies as “house Negro” when he is the leader of the free world. So no, he is not a “house negro” to me.
@petitenoirtenue - Oh how terror looks different when its painted in a different colour .
@petitenoirtenue - I would never vote Palin either. She is the definition of ignorant and closed-minded. If anything, I wish she would go away.
omg! no
The only comment I have is I’d much rather be called a house negro or a house whitie than a terrorist ANY day of the week!
And Dan, I saw the above commentor’s comment..You ACTUALLY comment on other people’s sites? WOW! I thought you just posted. My posts must be not controversial or intelligent enough for you, lol, but it’s all good, I love your posts,
I actually have to use my head and think, rofl!
that is a horrible thing to say
Sad but true: Midde Eastern terrorists have caricaturized views of American society.
@LucyWrites - I can’t state my opinion any better than this. The fact that this is “news” is utterly ridiculous.
Heh, I guess that may actually be a step up from “white devils.” I get called that a lot when I go downtown.
EDIT: Also, I can’t imagine what they would’ve of said about McCain/Palin, hahaa.
LOL
First Ralph Nader asks if Barack Obama is an “Uncle Tom”, and now terrorists are calling him a house nigger… which are pretty much synonymous in term.
The answer to both is, OF COURSE NOT!
Although, if I were going to be insulted, I think insulted by terrorists is the way to go. I mean, it shows a level of fear for a man who hasn’t really attained his power yet, and they’re already trying to throw him off balance.
He’s gray. And who cares? Did we really expect to get respect from Al-Qaida!?
If the world wold outgrow skin prejudices, it wouldn’t be soon enough. When I see Obama I see a person.
he is a negro that TOOK OVER the HOUSE. that kind of house negro.
Ask Ayman al-Zawahri how he would feel about a house negro that can bomb him to the Stone Age with a blink of his house negro eyes.
He needs to pray towards Mecca and thank Allah everyday that the house negro Obama doesn’t stretch out his mighty negro hand towards Al-Qaida’s pathetic tents & hovels. What a tool!
He’s a half house negro!
to me Obama could just as well be a the son of any first genereation immigrant. I find that really impressive.
skin color fixation – c’mon it’s time to evolve
@FlashFosgitt - I thrive on crude.
What an offensive and ridiculous question Dan. Shame on you. Why would we agree with something a terrorist thinks?
Ayman al-Zawahri and Al-Qaida know nothing about honor, and cannot rightly tell whether someone is “honorable” or “the opposite of honorable”, no matter what their race.
As for the term “house negro”, shouldn’t it be defunct since slavery no longer exists in the United States? I guess they are more familiar with slavery and different classes of slaves in his organization than we are in America.
What smelly bullshit this is.
Sure, if GWB was, too.
Race has nothing to do with it.
If you want to see a girl sputter out a chunk of pizza that she is eating for breakfast directly at her computer monitor…..just post up this particular blog post title…..
Holy Hell dude!
But you have a good point and a good question.
My answer is that I certainly hope not!
ROFL
@baldmike2004 - Amen
Absolutely not.
And I thought that there was never such a thing as a stupid question. You proved me wrong.
Some days I wish I had a slave. Or a maid. Or at least a couple extra hands and about 10 more hours in a day and a 6-day weekend.
I think YOURE a house negro. How’d you like that? huh?
No, he’s just a plain ol’ nigger to me.
@madna - i wish more people thought like that. Then we wouldn’t have people threatening to shoot up a bunch of kids just because the guy we elected has the same pigment of skin as them
Honestly, what does Al Queda know about house negroes? I believe that term was developed to turn blacks (slaves) against one another. I’m better than you because my skin is lighter or because the white man said so. Sounds like Al Queda is hatin’ to me. Typical crab behavior.
Peace.
Don’t forget..the “house negro” had to be of a ‘lighter’ complexion as well…
And no…
Pretty sure Obama is the president-elect, and that’s all I’ll call him besides “babe”.
No my brother al-Zawahri. Barak Obama is a “White House Negro”, Bitch!
sometimes i wonder if you put up random junk like this just to fuck with readers and see how gullible they truly are.
Everyone hails the winning of Obama to be the end of racism, when in reality it has only begun. We are going to see a lot more of these terms pop up as Obama begins serving his term. It’s sad, most people haven’t diversified in the least and are still racist.
As for Al Queda, well, they hate everyone. You should have seen this coming.
@LadyValkyrie37 - Well. That’s just cruel and racist right there. Lovely.
No, that’s so mean.
I laughed when I first saw the headline…and reading further I am not surprised. To echo some of the more….thoughtful responses, why should we pay attention what those that wish our destruction say about our leadership. While I did not vote for Obama, come Jan.20, he will be my president.
And Dan…while I recognize that such topics will indeed profit commentary as we’ve seen…why be a participant in the spreading of such malice? You can do better than this.
That’s a pretty bold question and quite political.
i wouldnt say so at all.
@cre13 - Sadly….you are the only one who “got it!”
Dan…..you asked the wrong question. It is a negatively provogative question that doesn’t deserve an answer. It is rather “trouble making.”
no he not
No, he’s the one in charge, quite the opposite. Everyone else would be the house whities.
the more people coin his as a house slave the more he will seem like one. But HELL NO i dont think that he’s a house slave.. nor are any of the other people you mentioned…
I’d rather respect those figures than some third-world country broke butt rifle holding beheading terrorists that are good-for-nothing but starting trouble
gosh people these days
im shocked that you asked this question…
did you run out of idea? that’s evil.
I realize that this is a topic to be dicuss but seriously come on
not every one is a neo-Nazi
@rambling_crazytalk - yeah. people just need to rise above all the stupid “issues” and realize that the color of a person skin, or their heritage does not dictate how one acts, talks, believes, and treats others
….
Sharone go Home
@GrapiesWordsofWisdom -
Fuck Al-Qaida.
~1~
@awokenfatality - I concur.
I’m not going to even discuss this.
@Anthony_chosen - pretty much
I saw a headline for this story that read:
7th Century Troglodyte Calls Obama “House Negro”
Sorry, I’m a bit too intelligent to be set back hundreds of years to think that.
who cares what obama is??? all we should care about now is how he’s gonna run america!!! i hear people in my school still talkin about how obama is gonna get shot during his presidency cause he black like Martin Luther King. It’s sad to think that people still think that way. Even my family is racist and i’m the one who went to school w/ black people!!!
Actually, I think there might be some accuracy in that. None of them have much, if anything, in common with most blacks other than their skin color.
How insulting. Rice, Powell, and Obama worked very hard to get where they are.
ha–honorable black Americans like Malcom X? who had to find their culture elsewhere by converting to Islam?
did anyone hear that Al Qaeda supported McCain? for the record, I think that site and that ‘endorsement’ was a plant to cause more deluded people to vote for Obama(since most of them voted for him due to liberal media bias, anyhow…most couldn’t give me one good reason to vote for him…and now, I’m getting to say: I told you so)
anyway, that’s a dumba*s term: house negro, especially as they’re saying someone like X was the antithesis of a ‘house negro’…
this is just stupid. no. i highly doubt it.
hmmm asking this question seems to only further the tendency in american society to attempt a reversion to 19th century style classifications. that manner of thinking has SOOOOO turned out well historically.
He has shown his capability to stand up against everyone: his racial stereotypes, his party… He’s not like Al Sharpton, who has to make his race into his entire political identity, he stands on his own and he also happens to be black.
And so is Ayman Al-Zawahiri’s MOM!!! OHHHHHHHH!!!!
goodness no. what a silly question. you’re trying to lose subs again, aren’t you? You enjoy those “I’m unsubbing from Dan” posts, you masochist.
NO! He is a tried and true American who has worked to be where he is. I respect him and think he is honorable.
*Sigh* He’s only a little bit ‘negro’.
I don’t think that’s what’s going on.
He will be the president, not the Vice President.
xD
I don’t think you read the story right—I remember them calling Condi, and Collin Powell as “house slaves” and they translated it into “house negro.”
Either way–no, I don’t think so. I think he’s just trying to upset people because they know the history of the US with confrontation between races.
I think that’s a horrible thing to say at all, but no.
That’s crazy. He isn’t a “house negro” as there is no longer slavery, at least not of blacks. He isn’t even a “house negro” in the sense I think you intended it; he just happens to be a minority in a field that consists of mostly whites.
ryc: who doesn’t know you’re alive? you’re the last person i’d pick for a real war… but a fake one, sure. anytime.
i guess this is a “take that” to everyone who thought terrorists would feel that they won when Obama became President.
the terrorists must have been watching the first debate when Obama threatened bin Laden.
Yeah, let’s all ponder on what absurd things the number 2 leader in Al-Quida has said like it is a relevant question. *rolls eyes*
@Rissababe203 - I was being facetious dear. If I was a black woman calling Obama a nigger or nigga would it have been more acceptable?
he is a negro in the “white” house… we should change the name of the Whitehouse? I agree with Mike… race is only an isuue for racists
..
No. Why we would even take into consideration the words of an al-Qaida leader is beyond me.
wtf? Are you seriously running out of questions to ask?
no
@LadyValkyrie37 - No, it wouldn’t. I don’t think it is acceptable in any way. I don’t believe that there should be words that are only acceptable if one race uses them. If it’s wrong, it’s wrong.
Also, you should realize humor does not translate very well over the internet unless it is extremely blatent. Just a tip for future reference.
Ha Ha, no way. It is interesting how our enemies always try to put down our leaders. Obama won the presidency, not an easy feet, and they saying that? I don’t think so.
If this was the Soviet era, the communists would probably have said something like, “Obama is a puppet tool of the capitalist pigs of the yada yada yada….,” instead of acknowledging the achievement for what it really is.
@Rissababe203 - With all due respect, over the past year or more that I’ve commented here in Dan’s blog I’ve made it clear as a bell how I feel about racism. Those who really know me understand I may be an eccentric witch but one thing I am not is racist. I’ve made it clear in recent months that I believe that the Presidential campaign came down to one’s race and not one’s policies. That doesn’t make me a racist, it makes me a realist.
He is the president elect of the fucking United States. No.
ha, this question makes me laugh every time I see it
No.
@AvenueToTheReal - You = always brilliant. Always. I’ll bet ur mom is hawt 2.
Are you even giving credibility to this statement from some terrorist nut!?
Obama is the next US President, that is who he is.
i don’t think so. i think he’s his own man.
Are we really debating the opinions of a terrorist? In any event…no.
See, Al Queda is just as ill informed about Obama as Obama is about Al Queda. He’s not in the House, he’s in the Senate!
@wxcruiser - Bill Ayers said that?
If he is…he is only half “house negro.” He’s half white–remember. (That doggone “white” gene is recessive during election years)
Wow. I expected backlash, but who would’ve thought people would accuse Obama of serving “the white man”???
He’s the freakin’ president of the United States! He’s ruling over Caucasians, as well as over everyone else! Geez, where’s the “Uncle Tom” and “house negro” in that?!
No. He’s the President-elect of the United States regardless of what anyone thinks or how they voted. Why would anyone listen to what those Al-Qaida people say anyway? They’ve proven themselves lunatics time and again.
@mrcolorful - How the hell would you know what “most blacks” are like?
@LadyValkyrie37 - Okay, that may be true. However, you have to realize that even though you may frequently comment on someone’s blog, that doesn’t mean I have ever seen your previous comments. This is the first time I can recall ever reading anything by you. Therefore I would not know how you feel on just about anything, so it is very easy to misconstrue your veiled humor. I don’t know you, sarcasm and humor does not translate well over the internet unless it is blatant, so anyone else in my position could have thought you were being serious.
@Rissababe203 - what you say is indeed true, however, I really don’t give a fuck.
No, I don’t, but I think al-Zawahri is number 2
actually obama was a senator, so technically he would be a senate negro…
now that he’s president-elect, he’ll be the white house negro; now won’t that confuse his enemies!?
no he’s not nore are any other the other “black people” in washington… although I gotta admit that it was funny to wake up to news reporters trying to figure out how to report that word in a politically correct mannor. lol
no, he was in the Senate.
http://www.goinggreenaccidently.blogspot.com
@hecticmuse - thank you.
@LadyValkyrie37 - Wow, you are quite classy.
@listen_to_The_Pixies - props!
@mrcolorful - What the fuck does that even mean? Is there just one way to be black?
@Rissababe203 - Why thank you, Miss.
no, but it doesn’t surprise me they said so- Muslims (including Muhammad) have a long tradition extending even to this day of enslaving and demeaning blacks- which makes the Nation of Islam movement (which touts Islam as the “black man’s religion”) all the more ironic…
I thought he was making Biden his bitch. o_o’
No, of course not…and I didn’t vote for him. Why do we care what a terrorist leader thinks anyway? It’s like giving value to Alec Baldwin or Bruce Springsteen’s opinion as somehow better than that of the rest of us. I don’t care what AlQaida thinks about our leaders, nor do I care what ANY celebrity thinks about politics.
Next topic!
Yep
Yes! Ha! Just kidding. Goodness. Like anybody would go out and say yes. I bet everyone’s anticipating someone to say yes. If being a president, often considered highest office (in this case, the free world), somehow makes you a “house negro,” what the hell is a “house negro” in the first place? Bomb those terrorist suckas!
very absurd Q………..of course!! i see a black man, but that is not important!! eny way he wont be able to do what he promess cuse is not possible politicly talking< but………………. what is coming is what you have to be worried about …….. he just recibed the first worning from the ISLAM and now what? I new it, i make a comment about it before the election and every one jumps and now more than ever you realy will need that “God Bless America!!
I think anyone who willfully lives under an oppressive ideology, such as any fundamentalist religious sect, has basically enslaved themselves. I find it comically ironic that a person who will live all of his life in hiding and could die at any moment either at the hand of his enemies, or his friends, would mock someone using ideas that harken back to American slavery. Shameful as it was, this man lives a life that cannot be much better, and not only did he do it to himself, he wishes to see the whole world oppressed to the point of expressionless obedience, which is really just slavery preceded by brainwashing.
In my opinion, this is not true! Barack Obama, Colin Powell, and Condoleezza Rice are intelligent, capable people. Their race/color in not relevant to their positions.
@JamesPequignot - GEEEEEEEEEE I THINK YOU GET MAD…LOL DONT HAVE TOO I APRECIATE YOUR CONCERN FOR MY SPELLING YOU SEE AS A HOMELESS I JUST SPEAK 3 LANGUAGES AND ENGLISH IS MY 3th AND ALSO HAVE A MASTER DEGREE AND MY EXCUSE: I DONT WRITE IN ENGLISH SENCE LONG TIME BUT I’M SURE I WILL CATCH IT AGAIN PRACTICING HERE TANHK YOU VERY MUCH! HOPE THIS MAKE YOU HAPPY BECAUSE FAR FROM MAKE MY MAD MAKE MY LAUGH …..AND I’M SORRY FOR THE EFORT YOU HAVE TO MAKE TO READ ME ………..REALY!!
BACK TO THE ISSUE….LET’S SEE IN CAMPAIN ALL POLITICIANS AND I MEAN ALL DO THE SAME THING IS PART OF THE GAME AND SOME DO IT BETTER THAN OTHERS IN THIS CASE LIKE YOU SAID AMERICANS WANT A CHANGE THE HOLD WORLD WANT A CHANGE…..AND HE WAS’T THE EXEPTION EVEN {MR.B.MOHAMED OBAMA} BRING DOWN THE MOON THE STARS AND ALL HE COULD, BUT THE REALITY IS ANOTHER ONE ESPECIALY IN THE CONDITIONS HE IS GOING TO WORK BUT… ANY WAY LET’S GIVE HIM SOME TIME AND WILL SEE ……………..THIS IS IMPORTANT NOT ONLY FOR AMERICANS AFECT THE HOLE WORLD WHEN USA CATCH A COLD THE REST HAVE “NEUMONIA” JUST IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW, THATS WHY WE ALL ARE CONCERNED AND SO WORRIED.
UNDESTAND? WELL,TRY HARD!
.AND PLEASE BE HAPPY IS MORE HEALTY……… CIAOOOO BAMBINO
@autumnskin1 - I was trying to be funny and got way out of line. I apologize. I agree that American politics is a game. Unfortunately the only way to change the game democratically is to play. I honestly believe that Obama wants to change things even more than he has spoken aloud, but he needs to play the game to put himself into that position. I think it will take alot more than just him to make change happen and for that change to be long lasting. We will need a few decades of presidential administrations, partnered with congress, who actually have he people’s best interest in mind. I believe that Obama does, and that is why I am excited about him. He is only a beginning, not a solution unto itself. I just moved to Los Angeles and some people here are so convinced of deep political corruption that the solution they came to, and preached to others, was to not vote. As you correctly stated politics is a game, and the only way to make it better is to play. Maybe we can shape it in a way that it doesn’t have to be a game any more. That day is far from today, but again, I believe Obama is a beginning toward that end. I don’t think anyone needs to be worried about American foreign polity under Obama, after president Bush, the only way to go is up. The rest of the world should be excited about the end of the Bush administrations strong arm tactics and the possibility of an era where diplomacy is heralded and used to solve the worlds problems in a way that is beneficial for everyone.
James I agree whit you is a matter of time….. the ones are out of the country have diferent point of view see things diferent and analize the situation and think that was not fair to promess so many things exactly because Americans are puting all the hope on him,….. belive me we all wish he could do all he said but any way the hope die at last and our big concern is Al-Qaida and the soldiers in Afganistan the sooner the better,……….. take them out will take at least 2 years you see this people dont send messages like those just because they are, rhigt now like gunded lions………
Remmember ”there are not a small enemys”, let’s hope all goes right and promesses keeped……
no hard feelings,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ciaoo bambino
by the way i’m a girl…………….byeeee.
That is just horrible…
I think that he’s not necessarily that far under their control, but in manners of under their influence he is probably greatly pressed. After all, If you do not satisfy at least most of the people with opinions that conflict with your own they become problems later on unless you totally get rid of them(which is usually only possible through illegal means) or you convince them to take on your view or at least to understand it to the extent where they do not aggressively attempt to refute it. Thus I expect that the answer to your question would be partially yes and utterly no. lol
~Christian Venhart
i wonder how people replied when it came to Condoleeza Rice or Colin Powell.
The Islamists are just doing what they usually do. When they sense weakness, they attack. Obama’s approach to foreign policy has been one of appeasement to America’s enemies… just as his party’s line has been.
However, it still stops short of overt surrender. That’s not good enough for the Mullahs. They’re initiating a campaign of personal attack in order to embarrass Obama before his core constituencies. If that doesn’t work, they’ll attempt terror attacks to further intimidate him, personally and politically.
It worked with Spain.
Well, I don’t understand why everyone labels him a “african american” when he’s white and black.
