Merry Christmas! Haven’t opened gifts yet. I set my alarm for 8am then couldn;’ remember why I was getting up so early. Hour and a half later I remembered. Best childhood gift was the Star Wars Millenium Falcon.
My Mom made me a Pittsburgh Pirates fleece blanket.
I could not be more proud of her, especially since she couldn’t sew before last Christmas.
The best gift I received didn’t even come from human hands. It came from my Higher Power. I’m beginning to learn what it means to truly forgive those who have severely hurt and abused me. I’m taking small baby steps, but I’m learning. I must learn, so that I can be a role model for my children who have been hurt by a lot of people (mostly their bio-father). They too need to learn how to forgive. Maybe I’ll blog about this soon.

I have yet to see my dad’s family and do Christmas, but so far, I guess my “best” gift was a Garmin.
My REAL best gift, was watching my mom open hers from me and be absolutely thrilled.
I’m more of the person who gets excited about watching people open/get what I got them than I do for anything I get…no matter how awesome it is.
The diamond heart pendant necklace my now ex got me last year. He may be an ex, but that doesn’t mean I like it any less.

Earlier this year, one of my aunts unexpectedly died in surgery. For Christmas, her husband sent out some of her jewelry to all the nieces, and I got an adorable pair of earrings in the shape of Scottish terriers.
I can’t really remember. Christmas is always such a blur for me.

I got a laptop from my parents…it’s nice. But my boyfriend gave me a build-a-bear. He gave me one earlier, with his nickname & for Christmas, he gave me one with mine. Even though it wasn’t the most expensive, it was my favorite.
