Completely Eliminating Xanga Drama
I have a solution to all of xanga’s drama problems. I am asking all of xanga to help me with this much needed solution.
Step # 1
And for mood issues . .
I have submitted an idea to the xanga ideas that will give a PMS alert every month for the female users. Go vote for my idea: Link
In real life we can time these things out. The problem is that on xanga we are not always aware of this issue.
Is it me, or is PMS the cause of most drama?

Rofl!!!!
Funny, Dan! I think it’s just a need to be the center of attention. Not ALL drama is caused by female bloggers. (Just most.)
Wow! I have a feeling you may get some haters on this one.
It’s you.
Only a guy would come up with that one. Good job Dan!
Lmfao. My hero, named Dan.
You think this is all due to FEMALES? And that it’s Hormone drama? That’s stereotyping, Dan. And very sexist.
lol
Lol
What about when it’s caused by a guy? That does happen… ahem… ;-b
don’t be such a drama king

LMAO!
@ title – ain’t never gonna happen, y’all.
Besides, I’ve been told by girls and guys that they can’t even tell when I’m at that time of the month. Not all of us are bitches (or get cramps or bloating or whiny or emo) during our time.

I’m not on the rag right now. However, I do feel that it will be soon. I’m having those PMDD symptoms. which start about a week before the actual rag time. Put ontop of that I’m Bipolar… well hells bells I’m a bitch all month long and a mega bitch once a month.
Poop! Wait….I’m supposed to mass message that one. Nevermind!
Well, obviously.
TO MANCOUCH WITH THE LOT OF US
geez, dan… if you eliminate drama, what else will we discuss when we’re feeling uncreative? you’re spoiling things.
just out of curiosity, i took a pamprin, once, when i had a headache. couldn’t think straight for a week. they don’t mess around!
haha blaming it all on pms is not wise
I dont think its PMS that causes the drama…but more…FEMALES who cause the drama.
Girls are way too sensitive and take things too seriously.
For instance….I commented on a lovelyish post…and I used the word “rocker-ish” totally aware its not a word a female HAD to say something. Uh…. no shit sherlock.
I wouldnt be surprised be if the same female had a hissy fit and complained datingish, lovelyish, mommaroo or even Xanga is a word! I bet she would too.
Sigh……
Hahahahahaha good thing I’m not PMSing right now. Coz I would have started drama. =P
. And a female HAD to say something*
HOW DARE YOU PUT MY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS AND SUGGEST TO ME SO COLD-HEARTEDLY A PINK GAY BOX OF PAMPRIN S*!? THEN YOU’RE TELLING ME I’M PMSING!? PMSING!? WTFAX!? I’LL STOP PMSING WHEN I WANNA STOP PMSING, DAMNIT!
Hahaha.
I’ve never caused problems before. No one ever even knows. =)
less drama – more boobs
P.M.S. could be….
Pass My Shotgun
Psychotic Mood Shift
Pissy Mood Syndrome
Puffy Mid-Section
People Make me Sick
Provide Me with Sweets
Pardon My Sobbing
Pimples May Surface
Pass My Sweatpants
Perpetual Munching Spree
Plainly; Men Suck
Pack My Stuff
Possible Murder Suspect
This is THE MOST GENIUS thing I have ever seen on here! Way to go, man!
Where’s the chocolate?
@TheBigShowAtUD - haha You took a Pamprin?!
@casmarie - nah, not really. it was a pretty wild thing to say though, huh? huh?
@TheBigShowAtUD - hahaha Yeah sure. You took one or several. You do it all the time. You crack me up.
I saw this and the first thing I wondered was, “What kind of arrangements does Dan have made?” Will there be enough left of him to bury?” Things like that. No drama, just things like that. Besides, doesn’t PMS stand for Primarily Mens Stupidity?
I’m not gonna lie, I should buy stock in Pamprin. That rap is what keeps me runnin 3-7 days out of the month!
i run new york.
Where is this drama at? I must really not be paying attention.
@casmarie - i do not! stop saying things like this on dan’s site. people READ this. dan, too.
it’s you
@TheBigShowAtUD - Alright, I’m done teasing you. For now.
@Drakonskyr - HERE HERE.
mancouch.com/drakonskyr
soon?
I am dying here. That was the best. Question.. what do you give to the males that cause drama?? Perhaps they are in need of Trojans???
@TheBigShowAtUD - you took pamprin? Wow. you’re my new hero for just having the raw courage to admit that!
Uh. Yeah. Definitely not PMS. Seriously. Why must guys always freaking blame PMS?
There’s Xanga drama???
it’s you. =P
Hahahaha. As a woman, I am completely and utterly….NOT offended. Girls are ALWAYS the ones to start drama. Sure, guys do it too…but girls do it worse. There’s a reason the term is “drama QUEEN”, isn’t there?
I thoroughly enjoy many of the male bloggers on xanga, simply because sarcasm and even blatant asshole-ism are enjoyable and amusing…I think people forget that you don’t have to be best friends with everyone you read about on the internet, jeez. Maybe I’m creating some sort of xanga heresy right now, but. . . it is JUST XANGA. The drama today has been way entertaining for me, as I’ve not been involved at all!
No!!
I am not a total witch when my time of the month comes…or am i?
IT’S You.
i think you forgot the male part of the population.
stop being biased Dan!
to anyone who gets upset at this post, it’s probably 80% for laughs.
the other 20% of the time, he’s right.
haha
What drama? I have no problem having sex with a girl while she is on her period, she will actually sometimes get off harder, everything is so slippery and wet.
@aznkrnstr - You’re cute. Which one is you?
Well, I do believe you caused the drama…
@casmarie - I think you’re lucky that TheBigShowAtUD has a good sense of humor..hahah! patronizing people on a post like this, when those who get easily-offended come out of the woodwork, is a dangerous game!
@mkenyon719 - what drama is dan talking about?
lol @ xanga “drama”
@christian_is_as_jesus_does - He and I kid around a lot anyway. He knows I heart him.
HaHaHa my 1st thought to this was “OMFG no you didnt Dan” Then I looked and really thought about it and and now I’m anywhere between “OMFG” and “LMAO”
Perhaps we should give you one too. =]
A girl’s period is not an excuse for anything, with the exemption to lie in bed. Cramps hurt.
@christian_is_as_jesus_does - when he asked us which xangan was the most annoying. A lot of people answered “antisoccermom.” Then she wrote an entry about it.
I’ll have a box of that, thank you!
Women generally don’t take to being told their drama stems from PMS… Haha
Hey Dan Please vote for my idea for Xanga. Thank you!
http://www.xanga.com/ideas/371/xangaim.html
@mkenyon719 - man. I miss a few days of reading thetheologianscafe and I miss everything! haha
@christian_is_as_jesus_does - LOL, that actually made me laugh out loud. You’ll catch up.
@benjimau5 - the one with the red arrow pointing to it saying ME
@aznkrnstr - hahahaha
LOL DAN! You rock… for real. Hmm I have read quite a few blogs that have had a “I have PMS at the moment” disclaimer on them… always very dramatic. I don’t seem to have this problem, but I’m sure quite a few other females do.
Eh, I vote more weed.
@mkenyon719 - yeah, i just went back and read the reply post by anti-soccermom. She took it a little personally, no? haha
Grace and dignity. I can’t recall where those virtues were extolled, but I’m pretty sure it was one of those war movies that everyone loves. haha. Gladiator? The 300? *shrugs*
you must be trying to be controversial and get comments off this post. this is an extremely controversial topic, and it pisses most women off…. except me because I don’t give a shit about most thing.
Dan, this post makes me want to kick you in the balls.
But you’re still Dan, and I still love you, so I’m not going to do it.
I don’t know about you but drama, PMS is a result of pretty good blogs at times. LOL.
Lol
no..
People will say and do a lot of things on the internet they wouldn’t dare do in real life…
I don’t think pamprin or midol will fix that.
Hahaha, hilarious… thanks for making my day…
I don’t understand your idea lol but the thing about PMS is SO TRUE! :[
it is most definitely you…but yes pms is the cause of some problems i’ll admit. lol but dont put it soley on the females! a lot of these men act like drama queens their damn selves, believe me. they just do it a different way.
the pms alert would be a funny idea but i would suggest some sort of mood swing alert for the men as well for gender balance thing. the pms thing by itself wont do anything but piss off some women.
@longtimelurker - I second that!
Actually, Dan, I believe it’s you.
LOL. have a lightbulb that flashes red beside the usernames. hahaahahahahaha….
insecurity is usually the underlying issue.
or power.
How about you shut the fuck up and stop being such a misogynist prick, huh? YEAH. ASSHOLE. You tell me how YOU feel when you bleed out of your anus once a month and then are told your emotions matter nothing. YEAH. YOU TELL ME THEN. RAWR.
Women are full of drama, sometimes escalated by PMS. But I will have to say, men oftentimes perpetuate it. Some men like to see women get mad.
Oh no you di’n't:) You don’t even KNOW PMS until you’ve lived in my house for a couple months. Sulk, yell, sob, rinse, repeat. (I am the only woman in the house who doesn’t display these obvious symptoms. Sometimes I wish I did, just so I could pay the other two back.)
don’t u think its kind of sexist to bring PMS into the picture?
and dont u think by posting this entry is actually creating more drama?
btw Midol does work wonders

No, you’re causing the drama.
There will always been drama on Xanga and other networking sites.
Nah……. It’s You, or Men in General!!!
Bring the drama to me. I’m lonely, you see?
Did you submit an idea to the xanga ideas that will give an laxative alert every month for the male users because you are obviously full of crap.
I take it you got bored today.

…you do know that there’s no empirical data to support the concept of low moods around period cycles due to PMS, don’t you?
Hahahaha. So many drama posts today! But Dan, I noticed you stirred a lot of drama with your “Most Annoying Person On Xanga” post. LOL. I think we all just need to remind ourselves that we have a brand new year to start off with a fresh new start. Hooray 2009! Cheers to a (hopefully) less dramatic year!
you’re one sexist bastard.
men have pms too.
it takes two to tango
@seedsower - I laughed so hard i fell off my bed
It’s you.
nope, just ignorance
Take it to ManCouch. Those fuckers would love your company.

They have mancouch so we can hide over there when the women get sassy.
hahahhahahaha….Dan, I’m sure you need help….ROTFLMBO
*chuckling* We need one of those two pills for men as well. Amazingly enough I swear there are a few who have some form of PMS as well.
i think you started it….
lol
Too much testosterone can cause drama too- YARGH!!! GRRRR!!! *ahem*
Sorry ’bout that outburst…
LOL

Include chocolate!
Nothing’s gonna eliminate drama. It’s part of life for both genders.
Methinks you really want encourage drama with posts like this one and previous one on annoying Xangans.
So, I’ll contribute . . .
Seen on a car bumper sticker: “I have PMS — and a gun!”
“Do you know how many women with PMS it takes to change a light bulb? How many? Three! Why Three? JUST BECAUSE IT DOES!
 ”
My daughter told me that one.
haha, PMS maybe. I know these damn pregnancy hormones make me more crazy than PMS.
LMAO. Dan I love you.
dick
it’s just you.
Dan, there are a lot of boys that stir up the drama on Xanga that are worse than some girls…. can they have the Midol, too?
Uhm wtf. I don’t get my period. And I’m just about 20 years old. So don’t fucking say it’s PMS ‘cus some of us just have mood disorders (i.e. bi-polar –> that’s me) al;kjsfla;jsdf
I am offended.
That is ha-larious.
@ShamelesslyRed - that’s right… i AM your hero. but i made up that last part. c’mon. i’m an ADVIL man. everyone knows that.
@TheBigShowAtUD - way to back pedal!!
Since most women are catty bitches. Yes. It would solve the majority of the problems
Oh dear,
You sure do like to stir up trouble, don’t you?
I thought sexist, intolerant men were the problem…
Huh.
They shut it down! Probably the most valid suggestion EVER made on Xanga. Where I wanted to vote twice I couldn’t even vote once. Aurgh!
What drama?!
lmao
@seedsower - Good one!!
  Loved it.
@saintvi perfectly stated, my dear!
What happened to this blog?
As has been said above, it’s not PMS that causes the drama — it’s just that we’re female. I apologize for us. And try to keep the drama to myself.
LMAO1
it’s YOU!
Idiot
@TheBigShowAtUD - wow.. i always wondered what would happen if a guy took that..
hmmm..interesting–
Is it me, or is PMS the cause of most drama?
Are PMS your real initials? :-p
@seedsower - i was reading the comments backwards from mine– couln’t wait to get to yours after all the talk
 – think you’ll like mine too..
  ^ up there
@longtimelurker - haha you know it
I love how it’s not just Pamprin, but it’s Pamprin MAX maximum strength. Nice.

Aww..You just want to make Antisoccermom feel better by attempting to become Xanga’s Most Hated–what a compassionate soul, but so contrived. Good try. I will overlook the PMS crap because you are a true martyr. Love you. *muah*.
On Xanga, like everywhere else on net and in “meatspace,” I don’t think that the “drama” (personality conflicts) result from PMS as much as different ideologies, perspectives and agendas — I’ve gotten into some doozies of online and offline conflicts, and the ones that last the longest have been with other guys. It doesn’t help that there’s lots of idiots amongst the population.
This is a typical guy theory. Blame everything on PMS.
@LadyValkyrie37 - P stands for pre.
Of course, then we’d have to find a way to monitor male PMS. Don’t lie guys, we all know you do it too!
The chocolate couldn’t hurt the situation…
Gotta disagree with you there, Dan. PMS can be a major contributing factor for some women, and it does hit them like clockwork every month. But how do you explain the drama coming from women who don’t suffer from PMS regularly or even at all? And what about the “drama kings” out there? In my book, drama is drama. Some people are just addicted to it. I haven’t analyzed this to discover if it’s an attention-gaining device, or what. But some people can’t seem to live without it, and both sexes apply.
@nattata - No shit! Really?! *rolls eyes* Did you know that a small number of women don’t stop having their PMS or PMDD symptoms once their actual menstrual cycle begins. Some women actually have the symptoms a couple to a few days into their period. But yes, for the most part, most women stop having PMS and PMDD symptoms when they start their actual menstruation.
@LadyValkyrie37 - I just meant your explanation fit to PMS not like it was anything weird.

I never have had PMS, but I don’t think it’s necessary to tell people that you do on here unless you just feel like it.
