Self-Reflection
Another xanga friend of mine and I were talking on the phone one day and he indicated that I made his wife mad with some of my posts. I asked him if she was subscribed to me and he told me “no.” He said that she wouldn’t visit my site. She would just read the titles from the RSS feed because she didn’t want to even give me the footprints on my site.
He told me that just the title of some of my posts makes her angry.
After hearing this I could not help but to take a moment to do some serious self-reflection. During that deep reflection I came to understand an important truth.
Some of my xanga friends have bad taste in women.

lmao – I care about some of the people on Xanga, but I don’t care about the posts that much. I can’t imagine getting that worked up over one unless it’s someone I know in real life who writes something super horrible about me. I’m way too awesome for people to do that, so I’ve got no worries.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about making everything “family friendly” or whatever. I mean, the kids already know all the cusswords and use them around their friends at school, and I can guarantee that at least 105% of boys past puberty have seen pictures of naked women and would not take particular exception with seeing them again. Certainly nothing Dan talks about on his site is any worse than the typical conversation you’d hear in an elementary school cafeteria when the kids think the teachers aren’t listening. Seems to me the only people who are really offended by “offensive content” are people of that giddy soccer mom stereotype who don’t want their sons to so much as look at any other woman but Mother until they’re out of college.

If she really didn’t like you (or what you write)… she should do what I do. I make them get their ego up by adding them if they request for friends, then a few days later, or a few minutes, depending on my mood, I just delete them. Simple as pie.
