It will not be very long and we will be seeing all the warm Valentine’s Day posts.
And of course, we will also be seeing some of the single and yet just a tad bit bitter posts from people that do not like the holiday.
So it is time to check our love meter again.

personally i hate valentines day. people celebrate something ONE day a year that could be celebrated all year round. i think its fake. why take something like that for granted every other day of the year but one?

Pregnant and not as involved with the father as I’d hoped to be. Sounds great, right?
But THIS Valentine’s Day, my baby’s due, so that’s the most important thing on my mind.

all the same I make it a point to wear all black on valentines day.
I would have to say single and satisfied. I don’t plan to stay single forever, but I’m not waiting for anything either. I’m living my life exactly the way I want to right now.
I’m gonna go with both four and five. I am satisfied with being single but being bitter about it is kind of fun and part of what is satisfying about it.

Somewhere between 4 and 5. I’m not insanely bitter, but I’m not happy about it. I’m not bitter simply for the fact that I’m single though. It’s complicated. There’s someone I’m really absolutely crazy for and some shit happened and now I’m still absolutely crazy for her but things are fucking complicated. If she wasn’t in the picture, I’d likely be content single. (Not that I don’t want her in the picture, just sayin’.)
I will be writing about how much I hate valentine’s day, though, because I do.

No, seriously, I’m #1, but we live in two different states at the moment (darn Navy), so no, I won’t be with him on Valentine’s Day (our first apart in 6 years). It might be a little bit depressing on Valentine’s Day, but I’ll deal with it.

I’m in a great relationship for nearly 11 years now. I don’t do Valentine’s day, though. Never have. Besides, if you’re in a good relationship, you shouldn’t need a calendar to tell you when you have to celebrate your love. It should be every day.

Yes, there is someone I would like to be with, but there are several reasons why it just wouldn’t work right now, and I don’t really want to be with anyone else, so for now, being single is what is best for me.
