  • Eye Tattooing

Oklahoma lawmakers may soon vote to ban tattooing in the white part of the eye.

The tattooing of the whites of the eye can cause a “risk of infection or can perforate the eye.”  Here is the link:  Link

Do you think eye tattooing should be banned?

  • I think people should make their own choices…

  • Probably, because there’s no point to it.

  • I guess if that’s what they want to do with their eye they can.

  • In my opinion, that’s gross. I don’t know what would possess someone to think about doing that.
It should not be banned though. There are plenty of harmful things that are legal in this country. They just come with warnings. If the patients are clearly warned of risks it should be totally legal.

  • LOL “can perforate the eye”… NO SH*T SHERLOCK.

Anyway… maybe they should also ban sitting directly on public toilet seats. Or, you know, scratching a cut. Those are ways to get things infected too.

People are definitely idiots. Unfortunately, you can’t make a law to throw stupid people in jail.

  • wow, I never even realized people did that, I thought this was gonna be like eyeliner tattoo (which I have). that looks cool tho, but I wouldnt do it, and yes it should be banned, seems unhealthy and risky

  • The less things like this the Government bans the better off we are.

  • Hot buttered biscuits on a stick that looks painful.

  • Ooowwww!!!  I thought ‘eye tattooing’ was going to be about women who tattoo their eyeliner/eyebrows on. Not the actual eyeball!!  This is more painful then the picture on my blog >.<’ YOU WIN!!!

    <3 miss chelle

  • No – it makes it so much easier to identify stupid people.

  • …see, the eye tatoo looks pretty cool to me.

The markings across his forehead; i’m not so sure on.

  • Okay!

I had no clue people were insane enough to do that in the first place!

Do I think that pouring a substance in your eye that could possibly have dangerous side effects that your insurance won’t cover and you plan to leave medical bills for facilities to write off or send to collections should be banned?

    yes.

  • wtf is this? I’ve never heard of eye tattooing before.

But no, it shouldn’t be banned. When people choose to get them done, they’ve already assumed the risk of an eye infection. Any type of body mutilation (tongue/genital piercing etc)  or voluntary surgery has a risk of infection, that’s not a reason to ban and illegalize something in my opinion.

  • If octo-mom gets to keep her kids, anything goes. I would actually love to meet someone who did such a thing. Interesting.

It should not be banned. People can definately find other sources of pain and infection…just sayin’

  • That’s gross!

    Just wear colored contacts!

  • if they cant promise an infekshun why bother

    ban the praktise

  • Haha i’ve seen this. It’s been going on for awhile. I think if people want to do it they should be able to!

  • oh, my good lord, yes.

  • Just by looking at their eyes, I’d like to know who the idiots are.

  • Let them make their own decisions.

  • Eww…that’s creepy.  I’m from Oklahoma and tattooing just because legal not too long ago!  I think it was one of the last states to legalize it, so it doesn’t surprise me they want to ban certain things now.  I have never even heard of eye tattoos…yuck.  I bet laser surgery wouldn’t work on reversing that!  Yikes!

  • looks gross but im not against dunderheads who want to get it done.

  • @saintvi - haha, nice.

This is truly ridiculous. WTF makes you want to take a needle to your eye?! I’m all for artistic expression and creative license, but seriously? Eyeball tatoos? Unneccesary.

  • They made the decision to be an idiot. Keep it legal, so maybe they’ll be encouraged to do other stupid things that’ll remove them from the gene pool.

  • The risk of eye-injury would have to be pretty darn probable for the state legislature to justify an out-right ban.

The public interest in taking away the right would have to outweigh the freeom of having the right.

  • I would personally never do it, but I don’t think that there should be a law saying people can’t.

  • Owwww!!!! I’ve never heard of this! People are really stupid enough to do that?! In my opinion, there’s so many other things that are allowed that bring infections and death… eye tattooing isn’t the worst of them.

Keep the eye tattoo. I want to be able to identify idiots more easily.

  • Of course not. I want to actually be able to see how stupid some people are.

  • Any tattooing carries a risk of infection. The reasons are stupid. However, it’s just plain disgusting and eerie, and I think anyone that is going to do the procedure should have a special sort of certification.

  • Awesome! I had no idea that existed!

I don’t know if it should be banned, but I can’t imagine why anyone would want to go through that pain for something so seemingly ridiculous.

  • OMG…I didn’t even know this existed! Eeeeeeew! How gross. I can’t believe people are stupid enough to risk their sight on this foolishness. It’s this level of stupidity that makes me understand the need for basic informational signage on common sense subjects…because there are people out there that are too stupid to have common sense. Peace.

  • If this gets banned, we might as well ban looking directly into the sun. They’re both harmful to your eyes and you have to be pretty stupid to do it.

  • Who the fuck cares? Drinking is stupid and is way more life-threatening than eye-dyeing. But we all see what happens when you ban drinking – black market. I say, let the morons have their eye-tattooing in a perfectly legal setting done by an honest upright businessman instead of some dude in a back alley trying to make a buck.

  • @xthread - Rather, it should be required that the patients are clearly warned of risks (infection, damage, no going back) associated with the procedure.

    Yuppers.

But if the risk of actual injury is significant, banning would probably be justified.

  • It is already banned by common sense and sanity. The government need not get involved.

  • Whether they’re stupid for doing it or not, it’s THEIR choice.
I hate when other people try to stop other people from doing something that affects only them. Just cause it makes you uncomfortable or whatever does not give you a reason to stop them from doing it.

  • @seedsower - Well said.

My original response to this was “WTF? People do this??”  This is beyond my thinking capabilities; I simply cannot fathom that people get this done, and I am big into body art.  Answering the question though, no, it should not be banned.  There are plenty of harmful things that are legal; they just come with warnings. I think that it should be kept legal because, as seedsower said, the less things like this the government bans, the better.  The last thing we need is to have our jails filled with people performing illegal eye-tattooing.  Rather, it should be required that the patients are clearly warned of risks (infection, damage, no going back) associated with the procedure.  If a tattoo artist fails to inform patients of the risks associated with their practice?  Yeah, he better effing pay.  People should know when they’re playing with fire.

(And yeah.  As people before me said, the eye-tattoo is certainly useful for spotting the idiots more readily.  Or at least those people who don’t value their eye-sight enough to not gamble with it.)

  • @Heshewethree - Well, people stick bags of fluid into their chest in the name of sexy.

  • Don’t ban it!  I want to laugh at people dumb enough to do it, and then go blind.

  • Um…

What crazy idiot would tattoo someones eye? Even if they asked for it, the tattoo artist is not obligated to perform the operation…

  • @xthread - You said it a little better.

  • Wow, I didn’t even know you could do that. It’s gross, but people should be allowed to be dumbasses.

  • That looks like it hurts…I wouldn’t do it.

  • first off, WHY would you want one to begin with?

  • Personally, I’m just terrified of needles in general…doesn’t matter if it’s just getting a shot or blood work done at the doctors…I absolutely hate needles.  So the concept of having a needle scratch up my eyeball is completely appalling!!  I’m not sure if it should really be banned or illegal…but it certainly isn’t the smartest thing in the world.  But hey, if someone wants to actually put themselves in real danger of going blind – and all for the sake of looking “cool” and “different” – that’s their decision.  I can’t stop them, but I don’t have to like it, either.

  • @seedsower - I’m still amazed this practice even exists.  I mean, who got the idea to start doing this, and why didn’t they value their eye-sight?

  • @huginn - Yeah…I find that equally stupid, but seriously…at least there’s a measure of logic to that…its cause is insecurity. Can the same be said for eye tattoos? Sure there’s a health risk for both, but sight, in my opinion, is not something to risk, nor take lightly. Peace.

  • I didn’t know people did that.
I don’t think it should be banned, people are able to make their own decisions, it would be like banning tattoos.

  • i didnt even know its possible
ppl who do that are weird

  • @Heshewethree - Yeah and yup.

But weird people exist. Who are we to question their oddness?

  • I think Oklahoma should be focusing on how to fix their economy because it’s going down, FAST, instead of worrying wear people get tattoos, no matter how stupid a place it may be.

  • If they are going to make laws about that, it should just be that the person getting the tattoo must be fully informed of the risks. Just stepping out your front door is a risk, but you don’t see people banning that.

  • Holy crap, that looks painful.
People can make their own choices.
I don’t see why they would want to tattoo their eyeball, but whatever floats their boat.

  • Not until they ban smoking.

  • I’m proud to be an Okie, lol

Really, though, I never knew about this, that’s just…odd.  No it shouldn’t be banned, it’ll make it easier to identify stupid people who do this particular stupid thing.  Kinda like, branding themselves for normal people to watch out for.  Since our eyes won’t be messed up.

  • That makes me queasy just thinking about it. It should be banned.

  • People actually do this? o-o

  • WTF. THAT’S DISGUSTING.

    Uh, people’s choice.

  • that just looks painful

  • Heh, someone spent way too much time watching Dune.

  • I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw that picture. People are so stupid that sometimes it blows my mind.

That being said, it should be allowed in hopes that it will kill all the people stupid enough to do it. It’s called natural selection and I approve of it.

  • Stupid is as stupid does. If people want to do this, they got no one to blame when they go blind. They got no right to sue the tattoo artist or anyone else when the result of this blows up in their faces.

Isn’t that what contact lenses are for?

  • Smoking is unhealthy, and to a much greater degree than this from what i understand.
Smoking often affects the health of others. Eye tattooing does not.
Smoking is still legal. It should not be, in my opinion.
I honestly feel that it is unconstitutional to ban the practice of eye tattooing.

  • that looks extremely painful.

    and yes

  • I also kind of want to get it done now.
    IT LOOKS SO COOL!!!

  • Let them learn their own lessons.

  • “risk of infection” oh yeah? So can sex. Should we ban sex too?

  • @huginn - Frankly, I’m not questioning…I’m calling the kettle black. I noted that earlier you commented on the ban of this, and seem to be of the opinion that there should be no ban. So then you think the woman that had the octuplets was right? Something like that shouldn’t be banned? What’s the connection? It’s in the fact that stupid people will do stupid things that, without legislation to stop them, will end up costing taxpayers more money, and put more stress on the economy and society as a whole. There has to be limits, otherwise, there is chaos and anarchy.

My earlier comment was to the fact that much like how it always amazes me that public institutions have to put signs up in their restrooms telling people not to stuff anything other than toilet paper down the toilet; things like this require costly legislation to prevent stupid people from fulfilling their apparent role in life to be stupid. As much as it seems to be the opposite, I really don’t like calling people stupid, but in this case, it is just blazingly obvious, just like the woman with the octuplets was.

In both cases, you would think that people wouldn’t have to be told that their choices are extremely lacking in logic and common sense. Unfortunately, a lack of legislation will cost society in the long run for the care of people who, for unfathomable reasons that appear to lack common sense, choose to do something that either will economically overburden them, or physically cripple them, or both. At that point, they become another burden on society…yet neither I nor anyone else should be indignant? I’m sorry, but on this one…I have to call the pot black and say that this is stupid. Forgive me please. Peace.

  • i never even knew it existed. why not just wear costume contact lenses?

  • @SerenaDante - LMAO! well said.

  • I don’t know.  Banning ‘stupid’ seems so hopeless.

  • i wouldn’t do it but I’ve seen a guy tattoo his eye black…it was cool looking/scary

But no I don’t think it should be banned. If that was the case then ban all drugs, traveling at high speeds and anything else that can be dangerous. As long as the know the risks and its done properly why not?

  • wow. that’s just weird.

  • it is so disgusting >< … probably yes so they won’t scare those on the streets and because its a hazard to your eye’s health
but no because its their own choice…

  • That picture is quite disturbing! I have never heard of people getting that done, and don’t really understand why anyone would… Infections can happen with any tattoo or piercing, or a cut even… If someone wants to put a needle that close to their eyes then I guess we should let them. It’s their own choice and they would have to live with the choices they made whatever the outcome would be.

  • crap, I didnt know you could tattoo the eyeball. Somehow or another, if someone is stupid to want to do it, then let them…but maybee there should be an age limit with a higher standard…I dont know that they have tattoo removal for eyesballs

  • WOWSERS! I had no clue people could have their eyes tatooed. CREEPY!

    @seedsower - Good call.

  • @saintvi - LOL utter genius

I didn’t even know you could do that.. But ew. Why would you?

  • No. If they want to be stupid, let them. Each to their own.

  • The government isn’t here to protect us from ourselves…

  • What people do with their own bodies is what they do.

  • It’s scary…

  • Eww, that’s quite sick!

  • *cringe* The government could ban it, but people would find a way to have it done anyway if they really want it. If people really want to get a tattoo on their eye, go for it, but don’t complain when you end up blind!

  • I take it some tattoo enthusiasts are running out of space for more tattoos. >.>

I couldn’t justify outlawing it. But people who are interested in the procedure should be made aware of the risks.

  • Why? Let the people do what they want. It’s their body. If the lawmakers find it gross that’s on them. They’re not the ones doing it. Plus the people who subject themselves to this know the risks and they do it anyway, lol.

  • Yes, for safety, medical, and other reasons that I don’t quite yet know how to put into words. On your driver’s license, what are you going to put? Blue eyes with red background?

That’s all I have for now.

  • its up to the person who likes to be tattood…but look man, an eye with white parts (cornea) being turned to blue..holy shyt!!WTF!

  • holy sh*t. just looking at this picture hurts my eyes.

nah, i don’t think it should be banned.

  • umm…
i think eye tattooing as an art, just like tattooing on any other part of the body.
if it’s banned, than the government has to banned body tattooing too (but i hope they wont do that)
why dont they just put a warning on the media like on cigarette, so the citizens aware about the harm but if they choose to get one, it’s their own responsibility

  • I have no idea what would possess people to do this to themselves. I mean, other than sheer stupidity. But no, not every act of sheer stupidity needs to be outlawed.

  • Ahhhhh, por que?

  • You should do a post about how New Jersey cut the budget so much that my 4 top vet schools choices severed their contract seats with New Jersey.  (Since NJ doesn’t have it’s own vet school, part of the Dept of Ag’s budget goes to purchasing these seats at the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Tuskegee, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Illinois State at Urbana-Champaign, and Tufts University.) Yeah now my only options are to apply to the remaining 3, which are Tuskegee, Oklahoma, and Tufts, HA. Or to apply in the surplus pool, and have my chances plummet from 9/15, to 1/15.

  • I really don’t see a reason to ban it. Yeah, its a bit disturbing to me and I would never do it, but the risks are not a good enough reason (IMO) to legally stop those who do want to do it.

  • no, to everyone their own

  • I’d never do that. Its iky! LOL

I don’t think it should be. Its that person deciding to do it, they are taking that risk.

  • I had no idea that was even possible…

Let people continue to make their stupid choices. It’s their life

  • Morality and stupidity are the two things that cannot be regulated by the Government.  We just keep building better idiots.  Therefore I think banning it would be pointless.

  • There is no way I’d do this. That looks horrific.

  • Why should it be banned if it’s only self-harmful?

Unless you eye-tatooed someone against their will.

  • If people are aware of the risk, it’s their choice.

  • Ewww! Well, if it does cause extreme health risks then yes, but otherwise we can’t really tell people where they can’t tattoo.

  • I don’t think they should ban the practice though.  These people are doing harm to themselves, by their own choice.  It would make more sense for them to ban mentally unstable women from having 16 kids, because the harm befalls the children.

  • um, i didn’t even know you could do that…why??

on the other hand, that’d be like making cigarettes illegal…just tell peopke the risks (if they’re too dumb not to figure them out on their own) and let them make the choice/take the consequence…this is america, after all, and being stupid is an inalienable right…

    :)

  • AHH!!!  Cripes that makes my eyes water!!!

Idiots!  Ever hear of colored contacts?!?

  • OMG ! of course.

  • That is just more than I can accept.  I have a tattoo, so it isn’t like I am speaking in a judgmental tone, BUT putting your eyesight at risk is more than I can handle.

  • I was always told that you can not get tattoos in Oklahoma to begin with. I live in a border city in arkansas. Everyone I know, including my brother, have to come across to Fort Smith, or whatever city they are close too, to get their tattoos.

    My Avon

  • No.  Body modification should not be banned.

To all those saying how stupid it is, and how this person is easily identified as stupid…did you ever hear the saying, “Live and let live”?  No one is saying that YOU have to get this done, but if he wants to, so be it.  It’s his life, he’s doing perfectly fine with this, and so what is the problem?

And p.s. If you call this unnecessary-if you think of it like that…wouldn’t ALL tattoos be considered unnecessary?

  • Are you kidding me!? They’re spending money trying to pass a law that will effect maybe, 20 people a year if they’re lucky. Meanwhile Oklahoma has one of the worst employment envirornments in the country.

  • itd say yes, i wouldnt want a tattoo gun anywhere near my eye!

  • Well, you can get infections doing other things too. I say no to banning it. If people are stupid enough to want their eye tattooed, let them do it.

  • Yes, please stop the crazy eye tattoo!

  • Ew ew ew…Ugh. I can’t stand anything coming near my eye. *Shivers* Gross!

  • Eh, no…it’s no direct threat to anyone except the imbecile who chooses to get their eye tattooed in the first place.

  • yeah … uhhh… its retarded

  • One one hand, yes, it should be banned because it’s really stupid.

On the other hand, no, because, when do you draw the line of regulating what a person can and can not have done to their body?

    Yea! for fence sitting!!!

  • No. If you’re dumb enough to have it done, you deserve to be blind.

  • I thought this was about eye tatoos when you get tired of putting eye liner on -that is cornea tats.

  • It looks really painful and it’s one of those things that makes me wonder wtf they were thinking.  but no, it should not be banned.  if people are going to be dumb let them be dumb. and like someone else on here said there are many other things that can cause infection, and i don’t see those things getting banned.

  • lol at saintvi’s comment. If a person is crazy enough to do it,let them. I’m all for tats but that’s a bit much. Ouch!

  • Nope, let them do it and then lets see how many of them go blind later in life.

  • It’s stupid, but that’s their issue. If people want to be morons and blind themselves, who are we to stop them?

  • If they want to fuck themselves up, let them. Smoking can kill you and that’s legal.

  • It’s weird, yes. However, it’s just personal expression and shouldn’t be banned. That would be lame.

  • i dont think it should be banned because its their choice

  • Man, that looks like it would hurt!  It reminds me of the guy who drank silver nitrate and his skin turned blue!

    Nick–
    How to Pizza

  • I don’t know if I believe it.

  • I think if I want to be a complete idiot and do something that might kill me, I should be allowed to. However I do think that the people performing the tattoo, should be required to tell you of the risks involved prior to the procedure.

  • @josiebunny - no, it is heavily taxed, there is a difference. If they stopped getting the tax money from them, then the availability of tabacco products would drop into the cellar

  • well, some people have cataracts and stuff and can’t see anyway, so why not have cool looking eyes?

  • @ProudToBeAChristianFruitcake - Doesn’t make a difference to me. Just because death sticks are taxed, it doesn’t mean they’re okay.

  • There are also risks to any other tattoo, branding, or piercing. Especially tongue piercings, but no one is stopping those people.

Yes this is a little odd (I actually saw a documentary recently where this was mentioned), but if the client is willing to sign a waiver, it’s a free country, right?

  • WHAT… THE… HELL. I never knew this was possible. AGHHHH that’s disgusting.

  • If someone is stupid enough to tattoo their eye… I say let them. We should ban them from breeding, not tattoos.

  • I think all you dumb masses that ran out and got tattoos are just that…  The Dumb Masses!

  • That is really scary, and makes me cringe so much….yuck.

  • AGH, WHYYYYY?>!?!?!?! O_o

I guess if people are allowed to tattoo themselves elsewhere and perform unnecessary cosmetic surgeries which can also put them at risk, then why not this? I think it’s stupid but whatevs… let them do what they want as long as it’s not hurting someone else.

  • Holy moly. Why would anyone wanna tattoo their eyes?! I WOULD BAN THIS.

  • …? the hell?!?! since when did they begin doing this? i know females who get their eyelids tatted up for the eyeliner look but…eyeballs?

  • People EYE tattoo?

  • @josiebunny - it makes a difference, if you are the government and you need the tax income.

  • @ProudToBeAChristianFruitcake - As I said, it doesn’t make a difference to ME. They cause deaths, tattoos (no matter how incredibly silly) do not. The government doesn’t care about cigarettes because they are getting paid for it, I understand that, but they shouldn’t have a say on whatever else we want to do to our bodies.

  • If they want to take the risks associated with it (as there are risks anytime you get a tattoo or piercing) then that is their decision. But I do know that tattooing at ALL in Oklahoma was illegal up until a few years ago.

  • ow. I don’t think I could face someone who did that. I think it should be banned. It’s some weird shit.

  • I guess they can do what they want-

  • damnn… i didn’t know you could do that… (not that i would ever)… not banned… ‘cus after all it’s that person to make their own choices and whether if they care about their eyesight at all… if they wanna have problems… go right ahead, no one’s gonna stop ya….

  • No, if people want to tattoo their eyes let them. Cigarettes are legal and there are dozens of arguments against them. Just let people know about the risk and they should be mature enough to make their own decision. If not, then oh well. It’s not our job to cater to stupid people.

  • I had no idea eye-tattooing even existed. that’s vile.

  • Whoa! who knew?

  • I’m all for freedom of choice in all things.  Let people choose to do shit like this…

  • yikes D: D: !

  • No; I believe people should have the right to do what they wish to do to their own selves. That’s why I think prostitution and weed should be legalized, among other things.

  • Why would anyone want to do this tatooing?

  • I don’t know if it should be banned, but the people who decide to go ahead with it should be banned from suing if something goes wrong.  That’s a risk, and they need to take responsibility for it.

  • Ooh that picture gave me the willies, yes I said willies…anyways why stop people from making personal choices about their own body? While it may be incredibly stupid, it’s their choice.

  • Here’s a better question. Why would you want to have ink permanently injected into your eyeball? You’re going to look absolutely retarded when youre 65 and have bright blue eyes.

  • Haha, I’ve never even heard of this before. Insane! Anyway, nooo I don’t think it should be banned. As long as they are aware of the infection, and they still would like to, whatever. It’s their choice. Any other tattoo/piercing has a chance of getting infected. Are you going to ban that too?

  • no not really. like it could be illegal but someone has it then it shouldnt matter. kind of like weed. you know people are out there not only smoking it but dealing it. its illegal but its not like youll get caught any time soon..

  • People should make their own choices – survival of the fittest! :P

  • Eww ban it.

  • a] gross b] can harm damage that can’t be undone and c] no, because it’s part of your body… it’d be like saying it’s illegal to pierce your nipples or something.

  • @SerenaDante - I concur. It’s stupid, but if we outlaw everything that’s stupid…well, let’s just say we’d have our work cut out for us.

  • Well if people really want to ruin their lives like that…

  • I think the government needs to stop trying to control everything all the time.

  • haha that’s fucked. but it shouldn’t be banned.

  • I thought tattooin was still unlegal in oklahoma, myself. But anyhoo, I think it’s dumb and ugly and they should prolly ban all forms of tattooin, honestly hahaha those broads on xanger that list “tattoos” in their interests are very unique and individual-like! and they all seem to like that thar chuck phalilihuck feller for some reason, odd

  • This is ridiculous, are you serious?  They should’ve banned this junk eons ago.  It’s an unsafe practice, and it can potentially blind one’s eyes.  Why on Earth would anyone ever consider this procedure?  And on top of all, I doubt this is reversible, so much more the cons of this treatment.

Who do you think is going to incur the costs of these blind wo(men)’s health insurance in the future?  Uh, I’d be the first one to raise my hand and tell them that I’m not paying a cent for them.

  • Ew :
    Dangerous, but their decision

  • I definitely thought this was going to be about people who tattoo on eye makeup.

  • O_O hmm.  It’s kind of gross, but many gross/infectious things are legal.

  • No way. If trends continue, in about 20 years that will be the only part of my body not tattooed, and what if I’m Oklahoma when that happens and I need my tattoo fix?

  • @democrab - hot buttered biscuits on a stick?? hahaha

  • GROSSGROSSGROSSGROSS!!!

But whatever…I’m not the one to make choices for someone who wants to tattoo his or her eye…

  • O_o Hey man, if people want to do crazy crap with their eyes, that’s fine. It’s their eyes. I freak out when a piece of dust gets into mine. I can’t imagine laying somewhere and letting somebody do that. To each his/her own. I’m happy with my boring old brown eyes behind glasses. And I’d like to keep them that way. All these procedures and artistic expressions seem fine now. But what happens when these people are old and suddenly we’ve got a boatload of blind, disgruntled customers? They’ll be the first to blame the person and the company who did this to them.

yeesh. I need to close this window now…>_<

  • I love body modification, I spend a lot of time looking at all sorts of crazy stuff people have managed to do to themselves. This type of art is not stupid. You might find it unnecessary, guess it is a good thing that you can choose how you want to look. I personally wouldn’t do this type of tattooing. But that is impressive to me. I could probably finish the rest of my back off and not go through the pain these people have. Pure envy. I think that since we are supposed to be all free and democratic for the love of God stop pushing that, for all appearances, communist agenda. Thank you.

BTW a lot of you people who said this should be illegal make me sick. You know the risks when you do these kinds of things, and I am sure that they have thought about it more than a couple of minutes.

  • After getting this done, one gets a job how???

  • yes

  • I don’t think so. But, I have the feeling that totoos in our eyes isn’t a great treatment of health. To my mind, it is too dangerous for me; others can do what they want anyway =)

  • Why on Earth would people risk messing their eyes up?  It’s their choice.  It would be scary to be robbed by a person with tattooed eyes.

  • Oh my goodness….that’s a little bizarre. I think it should be banned due to the health risks and it just seems very unnatural.

  • @saintvi - Ditto!  hahahahahahahaha

  • Ew!! I swear! The things people do for attention!! Morons!!

  • yuck, why would you do that? and plus, id be too scared to do it just in case i go blindd.

  • The government should NOT be telling people what they can or can’t do to their body. My goodness… how much more cushioned and seat-belted will the government make us become?

  • No. If you want to be stupid and fuck up your eye, it’s on you.

  • Banned?  It’s insane to begin with.  It’s one thing to blemish your skin with gaudy illustrations, but the health risk is still minimal.  To imprint things on your eyeballs is to risk your precious gift of sight.  You can only do so much to protect people from their own idiocy, but to allow such a practice as this is a clear danger to public health.

  • Nothing should ever be banned. If people want to fuck up their lives, why should we stop them?

  • people can do whatever they want with their own bodies. but it is gross!

  • I agree that this shouldn’t be banned…

But with the way that influences and “cool” stuff works, if this got cool… I fear for my soul whenever someone would happen to blink at me. -.-
