I was just reading an article that claimed that some teens are likely to blame Rihanna for the domestic abuse by Chris Brown.

A 15-year-old girl has been charged with distributing child pornography because she took nude photos of herself and sent them over the Internet.  Here is the link:  Link

Remember the 8-year old boy who killed his father and his father’s roommate after his father spanked him too much?

He pleaded guilty to a single count of negligent homicide.  He admitted he “did something risky and dangerous that ended the life of the roommate.”  He does not have to serve any time in a juvenile detention center.  He will have to have to undergo “mental health examinations when he’s 12, 15 and 17.” 

The thing that was interesting is they did not want the boy to admit to killing his father.  They said it was not in the child’s best interest to admit to killing his father:  “If the kid is ever going to have a chance at a normal life, how is he going to deal with `I pleaded guilty to killing my dad.”  Here is the link:  Link

This morning I was listening to the news and I heard the story about now the New York Post showed a cartoon that some are saying was racist.

The photo shows a monkey being shot for writing the stimulus bill and the comparison is read to mean that Obama looks like a monkey.  Here is the link:  Link

All this talk about racism has caused us to miss the real issue.

I live in the Houston area and every day I drive by people begging for money.  The other day I saw a guy begging who was listening to an iPod.

I have noticed that some of the people who are begging have handicaps of some sort.

But the majority of those begging are men and they are probably between the ages of 30-50 and don’t appear to have any handicaps.

Would you give money to a man who looked like he could work?

A framed newspaper has been removed from a VA hospital that was titled “Japs Surrender.”

The paper had been hanging there for more than 60 years.  It offended a new employee because of the ethnic slur.  Here is the link:  Link

Congress may move to ban the selling of primates as pets after a chimpanzee nearly ripped the face off a 55-year-old woman.

The woman is in critical condition.  The chimp attacked her and a police officer was forced to kill the chimp.  Here is the link:  Link
