When someone meets you for the first time, can they usually guess your age correctly?

I was just reading an article that mentioned that it was the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin.

The article mentioned a poll that showed that “only 39 percent of Americans say they ‘believe in the theory of evolution.’”  Here is the link:  Link

I was reading an article today about how the mother of the octuplets has set up a website so people can give donations.  Here is the link:  Link  (I can’t remember which blog I read this on first today so let me know if it was you and I will put your link here).

That got me thinking for a bit.  Look at those precious children.  None of this ordeal is their fault.

When I first started on xanga, I would say things online in a sarcastic tone and some people would not pick up on the fact that I was joking.

This tended to lead to some controversy in itself.  At one point or another, a friend mentioned to me that I should indicating I was joking with some sort of add on to my statement.  I was uncomfortable using “lol” because everyone was complaining about it.

So I went with “ha ha.”  After awhile someone told me that the “ha ha” felt like an uncomfortable laugh when she read it.  She suggested I go with “haha.”  So to this very day, I will often add “haha” to my statements.

On the radio talk show this morning, they were talking about whether to continue playing his music.  One radio station has already pulled his songs based on listener feedback.

On the radio one of the guys mentioned that he thought even if the allegations were true, he didn’t think that the radio stations should stop playing his music and destroy the guy’s career because of one mistake.

If the allegations of abuse are true, do you think the radio stations should pull his music based on one mistake?

We now know that the woman who had the octuplets is receiving “$490 a month in food stamps and three of her first six children are disabled and receiving federal assistance.”  Here is the link:  Link

So she was receiving in-vitro fertilization to have more children while she was receiving government assistance.
