It will not be very long and we will be seeing all the warm Valentine’s Day posts.
And of course, we will also be seeing some of the single and yet just a tad bit bitter posts from people that do not like the holiday.
So it is time to check our love meter again.

I have a xanga friend who sent me a message recently and told me she was embarrassed to have me as a friend because of some of the content on my site. Apparently she has a new boyfriend and he is a conservative Christian. She is a nice woman and I told her I understood if she had to unsub to me and drop me as a friend.
It caused me to think about what friends I had that I was embarrassed by. I couldn’t think of any so I must just have friends that are not the type to embarrass someone else.
I remember when I was younger that I picked up a hitchhiker while I was traveling home on leave from the military. I picked him up and he didn’t have any money or a place to stay. So I took him on my way. I was headed home and I took him to my parent’s house where we were spending the night. I told him he could stay with us. He said our family treated him like family. I knew they would because my family is just that way. The next day I helped him on his way. My mom asked me if he was really just a homeless guy and I told her, “Yes.” She did not give me a hard time and did not mention it again. I am not sure how she figured out he was homeless. It must have been the way he was dressed.
Another time we were close to Christmas and it was super cold at night. It was below zero outside. I saw some man walking down the street and he was super cold. He told me he was trying to make it to a shelter. I told him to get in and I took him home and let him spend the night with us. The next day we brought him to church. We helped him get cleaned up and he blended in nicely. A woman asked my wife if he was my dad. I would never embarrass someone so I didn’t tell anyone he was homeless.
I imagine if you are my friend that you could fall into drugs or prostitution and I would not be embarrassed by you.
I remember when Jesus talked to the woman at the well. I also remember when a woman of a bad reputation washed his feet. I realize I am not perfect like Jesus and I certainly cannot do that walking on water trick. But I wonder if he would be embarrassed to friend my xanga site.

President Obama’s stimulus plan is coming under fire because of a provision that would ban money from being used to renovate schools that allow “religious worship.” Here is the link: Link
I guess religious people don’t pay taxes.

Miley Cyrus is coming under fire after a photo of her turned up of her mocking Asian eyes by slanting her eyes with her fingers.
There is a token Asian friend in the photo. He looks unaware that they are making fun of his Asian eyes. Imagine his surprise when he saw the photo. Here is the link: Link
The OCA, a group dedicated to “dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans” is said to be angry over the photo.
They released a statement, “The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asia descent.”

In my last post, I mentioned women and body types. I posted this photo of a curvy woman.
So many people said she was not curvy or that her only curves were her boobs. Some even went so far as to say she had fake boobs.
I noticed this comment by ionekoa
“on another note, i think that the people who are saying 1 isnt curvy are making a very big mistake. curves are nice and pleasant to look at, rolls are not. curves do not equal rolls. and “curvy” should not be a synonym for fat.”
I looked up curvy on dictionary.com and here was the definition: “(of a woman’s body) having a large bosom and pleasing curves.”
She has a large bosom and pleasing curves.

We have looked at the ideal body types for men. So now we will look at the body types of women.

Which is the best body type for a woman?
It is funny to me that I misjudged what body types the typical women finds attractive. It is sort of different than what I think a man’s ideal body type is for himself. I knew from before that women say they don’t like the huge body builder type that are in competitive body building. But it surprises me that women don’t appear impressed with the in shape body builder.

Which is the ideal body type for a man?
In my last post, I had a photo of this guy:
Now I get all the comments about the dumb look on his face.
The thing I don’t get is all the comments about his neck. Some were saying that he doesn’t have a neck. He has a freaking huge neck. I thought the muscles up on his neck gave him the ideal neck.
Is a muscle neck unattractive?
