  • not for me to judge.

  • *Looks at the pic*

    Uhhh, yeah!

  • No, I don’t think so. Rich people are easy targets…

  • Well, I actually doubt it…He simply liked kids (maybe coz he had a tough childhood and wanted to make other kids happy). But who knows?

  • @AndrewSvelte - agreed!

    xD

  • @AndrewSvelte - lolwtf? are you AS90?

  • im really not sure, but i lean more to yes

  • Like someone else said, I’m leaning towards yes, partly just because he creeps me out a lot and it’s not unlikely. But he also seems to spout peace and harmony for whatever reason, so I’m torn. O.o

  • @Paul_Partisan - Didn’t you have a sex chat with an underage boy recently?

  • We will never know for certain, but the court said he did not, and all the might of the district attorney’s office was unable to prove that he did. But let’s consider of what could be, not of what was. Suppose that the Dark Angel stayed his hand, and stood, his sythe unused, stroking his grey beard as he considered that he himself had not yet learned to moonwalk. Then…. he makes an offer. He will with a wave of one bony hand restore Nichael to life. But instead he wants a figure well known to the public, a man of strange habits and sexual obsessions, a man who will be mourned.

    He wants Dan.

Let us vote. Shall we ask for Michael back in exchange for Dan?

  • He was guilty of “something” or he wouldn’t have been taken to task.

  • Personally, I think he WAS a kid, to the end. I mean, having younger kids around to him kind of seemed like it was normal, like it wasn’t different than a few ten year old boys having a sleepover, it just seemed fun and normal. And no, I don’t think he did it, but I suppose no one will ever REALLY know…

  • well I guess we can be pretty sure he didn’t molest any girls, and that he didn’t hire a ghost singer for his records.

  • None of us knew him or lived his life, so I find it hard to sit here and say if he did one way or another.  It’s possible on one hand, of course, but he was also an easy target.  I do think his attachment to kids might’ve been unhealthy given his own childhood and the fact that his mental frame of mind stopped at a certain childhood age.  The courts acquitted him and that’s all we really have to go on.

  • No, I think he genuinely believed he was a child.

  • @nattata - true, but it’s also true it’s a lot harder to nail someone rich and powerful then someone poor with no status.

  • I would hate to think so if he did he’s probably not in a good place right now

  • I got my doubts…but you never do know.

  • I need to get me some gold foil clothes.

  • He is dead now, why should we care what he did when he was alive?

  • I’m kinda thinking maybe yes…but who really knows for sure?

  • since this is such an important discussion topic

  • no. i just think he was an easy target to get money from.

  • I don’t, well … I have a doubt in my mind since he paid the family off … but it could’ve been to leave the issue alone. Possibly.

  • For the sake of the kids, i hope not.  But i bet a lot of things start coming out about him in the next couple years….probably some good, some bad.

  • It’s not our business to decide that.

  • Oh my fucking god.

It really doesn’t fucking matter now, does it?

If he did, maybe the families and his victims will rest assured that he’s burning in hell.  Nothing can be changed, nor could anything be changed when he was found not guilty.

    It DOESN’T matter.

  • well as enthused as he was about kids, you know, holding his own kid out the window and all, Id say it was a possibility.

  • Even if he didn’t actually physically molest them, I believe he was guilty of totally inappropriate behavior with them. It’s very creepy and weird that he had such a fascination with young children.

  • He was weird.

    but I don’t know….

  • someone tell me why we’re still discussing this?

  • @neverreallyover - exactly!!!! this is a pathetic excuse for a post..even for dan..

  • @AGreatPerhaps - I agree.  He had serious psychological problems as a result of his childhood and the stress of megastardum.  He was quoted saying that kids were the only people who weren’t mean to him.

  • I know he never touched me or anyone I’ve ever met. I know he was never found guilty of any such charges. I know that I will never truly know. To assume he did doesn’t seem fair, helpful, or loving. Now that he has fallen asleep I don’t see any reason to accuse him of any crimes.

    Things to consider:
    1. People will do anything to get money and like @nattata said, rich people are easy targets.
1b. After one accusation, it’s easier to make the same and have good chances of winning or at least harming that persons reputation enough to profit yourself.
    2. The king of Pop didn’t have the most normal of childhoods. In fact, he didn’t have much of a childhood and it seems he tried to make up for that as an adult.

  • THEY WANTED IT. MICHAEL JACKSON IS HOTTTT OMG!!!

  • @wolvenchic - How does dangling a child out the window make it plausible that a person is also a child molester and not simply dumb.

  • He had the best outfits.

  • @simplyemmy - Yeah, I feel bad, but I can understand where he was coming from. I think he was generally a sweet good person, he seemed like it to me. I don’t think he would’ve been capable of doing what people accused him of, but it’s just too easy to take advantage of someone naive like that. I feel so bad that people said all the horrible things about him that they did, especially since no one really knows anyway, and it’s not anyone’s place to judge him for something they have no proof he did…

  • No..well i hope not.

  • Someone on the internet said something I think was the most insightful, I will quote it here (since I can’t say it better):

    ———————
I dont believe he ever did anything to any children, I’ve been a volunteer swimming coach, Im a tall young guy, 1.95Metres tall, teaching 5-8 year olds how to swim. I hated doing it, I only did it to help out a friend who already did it, and maybe so the children would learn how to swim, its amazing that children still drown in this day and age in simple situations. I know I looked odd, being so tall, often with the water only up to my knees, I never got paid, yet still I did it. In the end I couldnt handle having the parents look at me accusingly. Just because I was the only male coach, I could see the parents watching me all the time. I couldnt handle being looked at accusingly any more.

I honestly believe MJ never did anything to any children, and yet still there are jokes about that, my work mates were getting them txt to them all day today. It made me sick, hes given over 300 million USD to charities over the decades, and they make up jokes about him molesting children, on the day he died? They make fun of the colour of his skin? He says its a disease, a skin condition, that one of the older men in his family had too, well , I believe him. Apparently all his heroes were black, like James Brown etc, so I dont see why he would want to look white anyway.

    Rest in peace Michael.

  • @AGreatPerhaps - Yeah, people say he was the most timid, childlike person, it’s hard to believe that such a person would commit a sexually malicious crime, but who knows.  He paid out the families who filed the allegations, but I personally think that that was all they wanted from him in the first place.  If I was the parent of a child who was sexually molested, I wouldn’t accept any amount of money in exchange for his innocense, I would see to it that he got sentenced, and that never happened for him.

  • Absolutely.
    “But he wasn’t convicted!”
-neither was OJ but we all know he killed his wife.
This is why I think he deserved it and had it coming. Molestation can be just as bad a rape.

  • @simplyemmy - I definitely think he seemed like such an easy target, that someone would go after him for something, because he seemed sweet, and naive, and he was rich. It seems like it would’ve been so easy, so that’s why I find it terribly easy they took advantage of his child like personality. And I agree, I think anyone whose child had really been molested would stop at nothing until that person was behind bars… no amount of money fixes that damage, so I doubt they’d settle for money. It just doesn’t really add up…

  • @ch0w - Totally agree with you on that one.

  • I very much doubt it. A lot of them were probably aware of the fact that they could say that he did (and possibly were even urged on by their parents to do so) and then collect huge damages by basically blackmailing Michael.

  • Is the Pope Catholic, Does a Bear Shit In The Woods, Does Xanga Suck?

  • For him it no longer matters

  • By my fallible judgment, absolutely not.  I think he was an exquisitely kind, vulnerable soul who became an easy target for peoples’ malice and greed.  If anything actually did happen, I’d wish the best for the victims and hope they’ve found peace… but I’m most tempted to believe that the primary victim was MJ.

  • Not at all! How dare people think such a thing?! D=<

  • Everything else about him was weird. Why not perverse too?

  • I think he did. The guy was pretty powerful so I’m surprised if the kids were too scared to say anything. But maybe in 10-20 years one of them will come out and tell the truth.

  • I’d like to think not.

  • I only know what I heard on the news, and goodness knows how that can be distorted.  At least I thought that with the first accusation.  With the second one (or more) my thoughts strayed more toward the “where there’s smoke” vein.
I don’t know if he really did or not.  I agree that rich people are an easy target.
I really believe that if he did or if he didn’t, there was something really wrong with that boy.  If he thought he was a young boy….that’s wrong for a forty plus guy.  If he molested the boys, there was something wrong with him.  He definitely seemed to be trying to turn himself into something not quite right.

I feel for him, though, although I think he wasted his talent.  I also feel very, very sorry for his kids.  They have lost someone important to them.  And the media will never ever leave them alone because of this tragedy.

  • Didn’t he pay off the childrens parents to drop the charges?

  • @gentlydreaming - Thats the perfect saying for it! :)

  • I never cared. I don’t give a shit about celebrities personal lives, what they do in their spare time, etc, etc…except for Marlon Brando, and Edward Norton. And if he really molested those kids then him, the kids, and the parents are all fucking stupid. But all I care about is what he contributed to this earth and it was damn good. I loved his music, everything he did entertainment wise. Talent wise, he was truly amazing. Personality wise, I don’t give a shit.

  • no

most of us know Michael as a “child molester” and not when he was a singing sensation.

  • I feel I will forever be biased because of the sector I work in.  I think we all have problems of different magnitudes.

  • who knows. and there is no proof..so why are we all stuck on it. the guy is dead. show him some respect.

  • I suspect not. he seems a mite androgynous to me. I suspect he really is as sort of Innocent Abroad.

Let him without sin, throw the first stone.

  • Not up to me to decide, but I would lean towards yes. He probably wouldn’t be accused of that for years if it wasn’t true.

  • No one can really know except him and the boys. My inclination is to think that he was probably far too familiar with them even if he did not. All those boys had parents who were greedy as hell and regardless of what happened many of them sure had a hell of a payday.

  • I bet he didn’t. People get influenced by media and get biased when deciding if he did or not, and media only writes about the bad stuffers. They would never write about his millions of fans supporting him and thinking he’s a good man, they would only write about the people that thinks he is. And also the fact that he’s rich makes him a target. And really… out of all the kids that come in and out of his place daily, why just this boy?

  • No, he just liked to admit sharing his bed with little boys was a beautiful thing.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - He never had plastic surgery either. His face just magically changed.

  • Ladies, gents, take a look at this.

    Orochimaru!!

    Observe. Similar facial features.

Not only that, but Orochimaru is openly pedophiliac towards none other than…

THE THIRTEEN YEAR OLD SASUKE UCHIHA!

    His goal in life:

    To possess Sasuke’s beautiful body.

    I rest my case.

  • @KissKisstime2die - Yeah, I heard he had a rare disease that made the skin tone change colors, and anyone would have altered features that would make it look like they’d had plastic surgery if they lost as much weight as he did.

  • 1.  Michael Jackson was accused, put on trial and acquitted of child molestation charges not once, but twice.  There was no evidence besides one maid’s “eye-witness (for $$$?) account” and the accusations of the boys (or rather, the boys’ parents). You would think that after the first time, if something really did happen, then he would have at least been convicted in the second offense.  2.  Everybody knows that Michael built his own fantasy land when he was older to fulfill his own childhood wishes.  Joe gave him a rough and abusive “childhood” in which MJ was unable to live as a child should…carefree and happy.  And I don’t care who you are, if you had built your own “Neverland” you would want to share it with many children, too.  The title of the ranch itself evokes memories of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.  I believe Michael was, by all accounts, an incarnation of Peter Pan.  Or maybe more like Benjamin Button, growing up “old” and living his youth as an adult.  3.  Had there really been anything to charge him with would he really have gotten custody of his three boys?  Would the biological mother have said he was the greatest father for his children?  Money doesn’t buy you protection from CPS.  4.  I was a victim of child molestation myself, and this is the main argument for me:  We haven’t heard a word from the accusers since the trials.  It seems like they took their settlement and disappeared.  Having been in that situation myself, I would be taking this huge sum and donating at least a portion of it to child advocacy groups, or using it to start my own group to help victims of child abuse and negligence.  I am curious to see where these kids are now and what their families did with that money.  They have both got to be close to 18 if not older, and I think they should be interviewed now that they can speak for themselves…I am sure the story will be MUCH different now.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - it’s annoying how everyone keeps fawning over him. yeah.. um.. Farrah Fawcet died the same morning.. suffering of cancer. And everyone is like.. eh, whatever.

    Oh, I know!
    Let’s go mourn the pedophile!

  • @KissKisstime2die - I think people were more struck about Michael because he was one of the most influential singers of all time, like if Patrick Swayze and Elvis had died on the same day, people would be upset to have lost Swayze, because he’s great, but Elvis overshadowed him. Farrah was amazing, beautiful, and she was a brilliant actress, but I think most people were like, “RIP Farrah…HOLY CRAP MICHAEL JACKSON DIED????” They had been saying she was on her death bed for months, while MJ had an occasional trip to the hospital. It’s hard to see people die, but if you walk into a room of 20 people under the age of 30 and ask how many knew who Farrah was, you might have a couple people raise their hands, depending. Everyone would raise their hands if you asked if they knew who Michael was, for one reason or another. No matter what he was known for, he was known.

  • Give him the benefit of the doubt, we don’t know what evidence they had, court decides already….

    TradeYourAsset

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - I’d respect him, but.. I don’t feel like it. My ex worshipped him, though… And Madonna.. and a few other people from the 1980′s..

Speaking of Madonna.. what are the chances you think she’ll die next?

  • @KissKisstime2die - I didn’t respect him and his actions as a person, but I’ve always thought it was wrong to disrespect the dead, so. And I have major respect for his music, even though he molested children yada yada yada.

Hmm, I dunno. She’s looking fine right now. I say all three of the Jonas Brothers will die in a horrendous plane crash next.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - Miley will die of AIDS. I swear to Hell she will. Robbert Pattenson will die being raped and murdered by a fan. Lindsay will die in a bar fight. And Jessica Simpson will be killed by angry tuna and chicken.

  • @KissKisstime2die - Robert will die of being raped by Miley, who will get AIDS from that and die. Lindsay will die in a bar fight with Jessica, and Jessica, in her fit of rage, will try to be a smart blond and cook something.

Haha. Or not. We could really do without all the stupid Disney teens.

  • I don’t think he ever matured beyond childhood.  He liked hanging out with little boys because he considered them peers.  If I was the mother of one of the boys who accused him, and he had really done it, there’s no way I could have been paid enough to drop it.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - I used to love Disney and Nick as a kid.. but at some point both of them went downhill. The shows used to be high quality.. and now.. it’s like… mentally retarded. This next generation of children will be very stupid.. that I am sure of.

I really miss that one show.
    The angry beavers.
    Invader ZIM was amazing.

  • @KissKisstime2die - Everything is low quality now, dude. Blogs. Movies. Jobs. Comedians. Music. It all goes downhill more and more.

Haha, I have a friend who got the nickname “Zim” from that show.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - Dude, really? That is epic.

  • He had a really rough childhood, which he pointed out in a lot of his interviews, so I think he just wanted to make up for the years he lost by creating close bonds with children. It was easy for people to target him for child molestation because of his social status and the way he lived his life. His accusers were already proven wrong, and if you watch the documentaries on the case, you’ll find that the testimonies against him were not very reliable. His hypnotist recently admitted to the press that he did something “very unethical” when he put Michael under hypnotism. He asked if he had ever touched children in an inappropriate manner and Michael immediately responded, “No, I would never do such a thing.” I think Michael Jackson was a great father and a legend I’ll definitely remember. :)

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - They ditched that show since it scared people right? Like they Ditched ‘Are you Afraid of the Dark’

  • @KissKisstime2die - Honestly, I don’t know, I never watched either. You could probably find out pretty quick at imdb.com.

  • @Dare2BDiferentt - I’ll do that.

  • No. I think it was all a ploy to get his money.

  • EARN MONEY DOING WHAT YOU DO ON XANGA!

  • I don’t know.  But he did little to avoid the appearance of wrong doing.

  • Only he, God, and the children know for certain, but I would like to believe that he was innocent and just thought he was a child himself…

  • absolutely not.

I read that the kid made it up today in the newspaper.
But even if i hadn’t of read that

    I dont think he did.

    my opinion.

    -Shelby

    R.I.P. Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

  • I think because of the way he was raised his mental state was the same as a childs. Then again no one really knows.

  • No. I believe that he desparately wanted to experience a wonderful childhood-one that he never had-through making other kids happy. To him, he was providing comfort to troubled children and to his own troubled mind. He was just horribly misunderstood. I have said my fair share of jokes about him in the past, and I truly am sorry.

  • No, nothing was ever proven.

  • no. i don’t believe the accusations.  neither did the courts.

he settled out of court due to his ailing health…the parents accepted the money.  they didn’t have to.  poor or not.  is money more important than their child and the safety of other children if he really WAS a child molestor?   is money more important than putting a child molester behind bars?

it was all a ploy to get money.  the first family felt their child was worth 22 million.  nice.

  • no. why would he destroy someone’s childhood when he didn’t have one himself?

  • No.
    But what do I know?

  • It’s between him and God now.  He’s not here to defend himself.

  • He probably did worse things.

  • No he did not.

  • Well lets just say…He didn’t just give those family’s free money

  • No he was aquitted in a court of law, which should mean something, people should stop accusing him

  • Yes. He went crazy, and in the insanity, he’s definitely guilty in my eyes.

  • Yeah. He did it.
