An 18 year old girl admitted that she lied when she said she asked for 3 stars to be tattooed on her face and she received 56.
The girl had told her father that the 56 tattoos were placed on her face while she was sleeping. She told her father that because he was mad about the tattoos. Here is the link: Link
I don’t want to talk about the girl and her lie. Instead I want to focus on her tattoo artist.

I didn’t really watch this show but my wife did and so I would hear it in the background.
It appears to me that there is almost this battle that wages against marriage. It is so hard for a couple to make it through the ups and downs. I think 30 years from now you will see very few people that are married for 50 years.
In fact, it appears that it is no longer a goal for so many people.
Would you describe a 50 year marriage as a goal for you?
I have never really understood the term “Internet Stalker.” I think I have read about 5 posts about stalkers today and I have read at least 2 pulses on the same topic.
Now I am sure guys view stalkers in a different way than women do. If a guy gets a stalker and she is fat or ugly, he can just tell her she is fat and/or ugly. (Note: Saying she is fat or ugly will turn her into a very passionate troll). But if she is hot, then she isn’t a stalker because guys don’t mind attention from hot women.
But I understand that for women it is a different situation. Women are afraid that the guy may hurt them. They are afraid the man may show up to their house. I am not sure what the fear is if it is a woman on woman stalker.
I think that the footprint feature increases the fear of Internet stalking. I think if xanga finally adds the feature for blocking IP addresses, they will probably do away with the footprint feature around the same time.
Why? I believe half of what you hear around xanga about stalkers is nothing more than an awareness if people’s presence via the footprints. You don’t know people are checking your site out 1000 times a day on Facebook.
I have never been afraid of someone on the Internet. In fact, Internet threats are kind of funny.

Since it is Father’s Day and I am older than most of the fathers on xanga, I thought I should pass on some wisdom I have gained over the years.
1. Take your children to work with you. They will appreciate the experience and will learn a valuable skill.
2. Take your children to the local fair. It is a great way for the family to have fun.
3. Take a ton of photos with your kids when they are young even if you are never around. You can point to them later to let them know how much time you spent with them. They won’t remember so they will take your word for it.
4. Teach your children a valuable skill like photography. It is the gift that keeps on giving.
5. Make sure you take your children places that help them experience culture. They will be more well-rounded as a result.
6. Let their mother dress them.
If you follow these simple rules, your children will love you like my children love me.

Do you think there should be peer pressure for overweight people to lose weight?
I want you to know that I am disappointed in all of you. I have noticed that many of you are leaving superficial comments.

Some of you left comments that were hurtful to others. After looking carefully at your comments, I couldn’t help but to agree with her.
I am sick of the superficial attitude of some of you. I want you to know that I will not allow a superficial attitude to take over the tone of my site. I want to call each one of you out to be the very best you that you can be.
I want you to focus more on what is on the inside than what is on the outside.

A city in Montana is asking all job applicants to give their user names and passwords for any Internet social networks they are involved in. Here is the link: Link
The city officials say they will not hold it against people if they don’t give their passwords. After a great deal of pressure, city officials have indicated that they may just ask potential employees to list the social networks they are a part of or friend a city facebook site so they could see basic information.
If a potential employer asked to see all your social network sites, would you give them that information?

PETA is upset. You will remember that I predicted last year that if elected President, Barack Obama would kill flies. Here is the link: Link
PETA is going to send the president a “Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher.” It helps a person trap a fly and release it outside.
A PETA spokesman said, “We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals. We believe that people, where they can be compassionate, should be, for all animals.” Here is the link: Link

It is pretty obvious there are more women on xanga than men. And yet over the past 4 and a half years, I have noticed that most of the most popular sites are written by men. You can think of exceptions but they were just that. And of those popular sites written by men, most of them were run by chauvinistic men who did not make a special effort to be nice to women.
Why do you think there are significantly more women on xanga than men?
