  • Woman Had 15 Abortions Over 17 Years

A woman has written a book about having 15 abortions in a 17 year period.

She said that the abortions were a way of “rebelling against her ‘controlling’ husband.”  She described herself as an “abortion addict.”  Here is the link:  Link

Do you support a woman’s right to have an abortion over and over and over and over again?

  • Do Fat People Deserve the Handicapped Parking?

I was reading this post about pet peeves and it reminded me that all the good WalMart parking is dedicated to handicap people.

(A photo of a fat person parking in handicap parking would be here if xanga photo was working).

But if you have ever been inside of WalMart, you will notice very few people in wheelchairs.  Why?  Because most of the people parking in handicap parking are not really handicapped.  They are just old or overweight.

So then I found this video of a man who was in a wheelchair and he was complaining about old people and fat people taking up all of the handicap parking spots:  Link

While I was reading up on the subject, I saw a few people suggest that fat people should actually be given the spots clear in the back so that they can get in shape.

Do you think fat people deserve the handicap parking spots?

  • How Often Does a Bloke Cry?

I was just reading an article that suggested blokes cry at least 6 times a year.  (Apparently a bloke is a man in the UK).

According to the article, men will cry “at funerals, when their dogs die and, most commonly, at weddings.”  Here is the link:  Link

Blokes crying at least 6 times a year was higher than I would have guessed.

Have you cried at least 6 times in the last year?

  • Xanga The Community

Recently, I messaged back and forth with a person and I told the person that she just needed to jump in the community and get to know people.

She responded that she didn’t really care about connecting with others.  She said she was just on xanga for an outlet for her writing.

What would you describe at your main reason for being on xanga, writing or connecting with others?

  • A Tattoo and Attractiveness

I have a xanga friend that received a tattoo.

Do you think a tattoo adds or takes away from a person’s hotness?

  • Illegal Immigrants in Hotels

I was just reading an article about how the government was using hotels to house illegal immigrants because there was not enough room in the jails.  Here is the link:  Link

This has created a buzz because people immediately have images of illegal immigrants kicking back in a hotel room.

But the jails are overcrowded.  I know there has been a push to stop putting drug users in prison because of overpopulation.

Which group would you rather see in prison, illegal immigrants or drug users?

  • Burial

Would you rather be buried in a coffin

    Or cremated?

  • Insuring Fat People

An insurance company is coming under fire after they denied a 4-month-old insurance because the baby was overweight.

    baby

The baby was denied insurance because he was in the 99th percentile of his weight.  Obesity is considered a “pre-existing condition.”

After it made national news, the insurance company reversed its decision and covered the baby.  Here is the link:  Link

My wife used to work with a woman who was denied insurance because she was obese.

If you think about it, overweight people are more likely to have medical problems.

Do you think insurance companies should be able to deny fat people insurance because it is a pre-existing condition?

  • Columbus Day

517 years ago Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas (It doesn’t count until a white person discovers it).

I was just reading an article about how fewer places like government offices are giving the day off as a holiday.  Here is the link:  Link

It feels like everyone has the day off except me.

Are you off on Columbus Day?

  • The Ultimate Battle

I was talking with friends in a Facebook thread and we were talking about the strength of the military.

One of the people in the thread was from another country and she indicated she believed that our citizens could not take on our own military.  So she felt the government was essentially in charge of our country.

In the thread the thoughts were split but I think that the citizens could easily take on the military and would win in days.  They would not hit their own country with nuclear weapons.  They could bomb us but a great deal of the citizens are armed and we could take over the bases.  Most of the police are local so they would side with us.  (Note to Department of Homeland security:  This is a discussion.  No reason to knock down my door).

Who would win in a battle, the military or the citizens?
