Under U.S. law if the President and Vice-President were suddenly killed, which of the above women would become the president?

I was watching Foxnews tonight and I caught a few minutes of the O’Reilly Factor and Bill was interviewing two women and talking about how women like Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton are treated harsher by the media.

One of the woman said that it wasn’t just in politics.  She said that women are treated like they are not as smart in the work place and about every other environment.

Are women treated like they are not as smart as men?
                                         

A group that is described as pro-rape started a page on Facebook.  It was an all male group that described itself as “anti-consent.”

Despite protest, Facebook would not shut down the page.  But eventually the page was shut down by its members.  Here is the link:  Link  (I can’t remember where I originally saw this story so let me know if it was your page).

I saw that someone commented that they allow pro-ana sites on Facebook.

Should Facebook shut down a pro-rape page?

I was watching FoxNews last night and a person said that they interviewed people on the street and only 34% of people knew who the following guy was:

Xanga just allowed us to have our own “.com” sites and it looks like they are going to give some of the ordinary xanga users some of the abilities of the ish sites.

I have been giving some thought of adding my own .com site.  I bought one when xanga told me to and now I can add it.  It would be “theologianscafe.com.”

But I have also given thought to allowing users to submit news links.  Everyone can submit a link of news stories and then certain people will be given the ability to “green light” posts on my site.  That means we can run news stories on my site every day even during the times I am too busy with work.

I will pick moderators that have troll tendencies so we will green light issues that keep the debate going.  I will do a little coaching about how I want the post to be written.  I want to keep the posts short with a news story link and then a question at the end.  So a person will have to follow a certain pattern.  Sarcasm and overgeneralization will be encouraged.

Thoughts?

1.  I knew a woman who left her 8 month old baby in a bathtub and answered the phone.  All of a sudden she had a sinking feeling and ran to the bathroom and found her baby dead from drowning.  She repeated over and over, “I killed my baby.”

2.  I know another woman who looked behind her car to make sure it was clear.  She gave her 2 year old baby to her mother and then got back in the car and quickly moved out of the parking lot.  The grandmother had let the 2 year old back down and the child ran behind the car and the mother ran her over.

3.  A man killed another man in an execution style murder.  He took full responsibility for the murder and dropped his appeal of the conviction.  He told the family he was sorry.  Here is the link:  Link

Who deserves forgiveness the most, 1) the mother of the drowning baby, 2) the grandmother who let the baby go, 3) the murderer who asked for forgiveness?

I want to congratulate President Obama and Nancy Pelosi on leading the way to pass an historic bill through the House to give Health Care to those that do not have it.





There were people that didn’t think it was possible.  And there were critics that said it would cost too much and expand the size of government.  But President Obama and Nancy Pelosi were able to push past all the propaganda and lies and pass a health care reform bill.

When we elected President Obama, did you ever think he would reach greatness so soon?
