71. I lost the competition by an hour. Worst day ever.
62 hours. when i was coming off of all the stupid narcotic pain meds and was in withdrawl. that sucked.
Three days, it was finals week.
I think not even 24 straight hours. I just fall asleep regardless of what is happening after that.
over 24 hours… not sure of the exact amount.
Sleeping is such a waste of time, oh well.
@Eternalimplosion - I’ve been through something like that.. Ever heard of Geodon? After coming off that drug… I couldn’t sleep cuz I slept the whole time I was on the stupid thing. UGH!
Hmm. Somewhere around 36 or 48 hours. I then slept for about 16, I remember that!
I don’t remember… I was so sleep deprived that my brain completely shut down. A few days?
I would guess somewhere around 60. Not a good thing, but sometimes work and life call for it.
@scrambledmegsntoast - I think not even 24 straight hours. I just fall asleep regardless of what is happening after that.
I thought you were in college…
Over 48 hours.
48 hours was the most I could handle…
~72.
about 23 i believe
@mstigerfrogs - i think so. is it an anti-psychotic?? I think that is exactly why i had trouble coming off of the Lyrica, Baclophen, Morphine, Percocet and Mobic…narcotics make you super sleepy and i wasn’t used to having to just actually TRY to sleep. It just happened. Hahaaa. I was also kept awake by the fever, sweating, and vomiting that came alone with the withdrawal process too tho. That was one of the most lame experiences of my life. haha. Did they find a better medicine for you?? One that didn’t make you feel so sleepy all the time?
hm about 18 t the most… hahaha
@Eternalimplosion - No… cuz I’m already taking Zoloft, so I didn’t feel it was necessary to keep trying. Instead, I go talk to a Psychologist Much better than Geodon… Oh, and I got so addicted to it, my parents hid it from me. I only took it 3 days. Send me a message, and I’ll tell you more.
Around 30.
ugh, almost 2 straight days, so that’d be 48-ish. fucking red-eye flights to Europe. not being able to sleep on the plane + 6-hour time difference = screwed.
two days.. finals.. -_-
and it’ll get worse each semester lol
i think like 45 hours?
36, I think.
A couple days… not sure on an exact hour amount though. It was certainly easier when I was younger though, that’s for sure. I know I was up so long once that when I finally slept, I slept a solid 15 hours straight, waking up only once half way through long enough to use the bathroom and then I was out again.
60ish, international traveling- stayed out all night then couldn’t sleep on the flight.
almost two days.
30-something. If I go without without sleep for too long I get so loopy I embarrass myself. I *need* sleep.
72 hours the day I got in a car accident abd broke my back.. for some reason the adrenalin crash didn’t knock me out and everytime i’d try to fall asleep I’d jolt awake
i think around 78 my last week of college – you start hallucinating at around 60-70 … it was crazy…
I think about 24 hours. Graduation and sober grad.
..2 days.
A week. What? It was finals and I was hyped up on coffee and energy drinks. Oh and I aced all 5 of my finals that week.
22 hours I think
63. I. Hate. Depression.
36 hours flight back from New York to UK (over night flight) we decided not to go to bed when we got home and go to bed at night.
With the time difference, not be able to sleep on plane.
Also we did the same when we went to Mexico.
48 or something. I proceeded to run a speed workout in the rain, vomit, and drive 40 miles to watch my sister’s ballet. It was the best day ever.
60 hours ishh
I don’t know… too busy beating deadlines.
Not sure. Around 72. I’ve slept for 16 hours straight. That rocked.
I stopped keeping track after day three hit. Think it was around 72 hours.
I’m an IB student. I THRIVE on little to no sleep. lol
24 hours max, I’d say. Aw man, so much less than many have posted here, I believe. Yet unfortuneately, I’m chronically sleep deprived (rarely get more than 5 or 6 hours sleeep, so figure;)
ps. I keep seing your name and post often around here. I had no idea how you have the time to write here so often- but so very quite cool!:)
Bless you,
Karen
about two days
I am going to say… 18…
78, finals week at an art school are deadly.
Ha. Not that many that’s for sure. Most likely somewhere around two days? I need my sleep…
48-ish
Im a vampire …..I will sleep when I am dead
36 or 42 or soI can’t remember
Almost two days and then I fell asleep while standing. lol
48
21 hours. on my defense i was studying so sleep was inevitable. my brain stops absorbing things after 8 hours of studying o_o
i bet i can party my ass off for three days straight. xD
I think it was about 36 hours or so.
About 48 hours
Two.
65 hours… All working.
50, oh god.
About 60.
Around 50, I think. But I was a lot younger then!
no more than 24 hours. I love sleep! haha
Around 36 hours. I’m not counting all the years lying awake with insomnia. I did doze from time to time those nights.
Somewhere around 37. I knew I needed sleep when I didn’t notice the big hole in the wall behind the broken toilet. Hahahah, but that’s an entirely different story.
When I was a prison firefighter, we went nearly 4 full days without sleep one week. It’s amazing what adrenaline will do! I haven’t done that since. As a new mother, I’ve come close, but not quite.
probably like 24 or so… much more than that and no one wants to be around me
It was about a week or so but after the first few days I was on something and not really in my right mind.
Deux jours.
around 50hrs during a school week
umm wow…the everyone seems to be awake for so long
i sleep everyday
I think it was 27 or 28.
36.
Probably around 60, and it was miserable.
3-4 days.
3.5 days (so like 80 ish hours?). It was horrible. Since then I have taken something to help me sleep if I go more than about 36 hours without sleeping.
30 or so
about 48 hours or so back in high school. I could never repeat that again, not even in college. I now put a premium on daily sleep even if it is only 6 hours. I prefer to get 7 to 8.
Sleep? What is that?
36? Maybe. I don’t do so well when I don’t get sleep.
Probably about 20. It’s a good thing I’m not going to college; I’d never make it.
A little over 24 hours?
around 35ish hours… twice. first time when I went to Italy in high school, second time when I went to New Orleans in college… You hit a point where you get very, very hyper… but the sleep after has to be the best freaking sleep in the entire world.
Somewhere close to 48. I was in the worst mood ever, but I was walking around Indianapolis for the first time, so that was pretty cool. :]
Also, I’m pretty chronically sleep deprived. I usually sleep somewhere between 4-6 hours a night, and it’s been that way for as long as I remember. It’s just gotten worse since I started college, lol.
37
and a half….
3 days
more than 72 but at that point life got really weird and I can’t tell you when I finally hit the wall and crashed…
3 full days. So close to 72 hours?
The entire week of finals last year. No joke. Sunday night to Friday night.
Then I slept for 19 hours, woke up for about one (I don’t remember this, someone told me about it), and then went back to sleep for 14 or so.
probably 48 hours or so.
30?
I’ve gone days, that’s why I now take sleeping pills..that tend to work..
I would estimate right around 50 hours.
50.
appr. 5 days
Flying to Russia my sophomore year of college put my over 30 hours.
48 hours
About 38 I think.
As someone who suffers from severe chronic insomnia…. before medication I went 5 days without sleep – I was going crazy, and I hear if you let it go much farther, you will die. So I’m happily medicated.
31 or 32 hours, when i was working a couple jobs. it felt like longer. i’m surprised i didn’t get fired from the second job, which i had to go to during the 24-30hr-without-sleep mark; i was practically unable to walk upright. sleeping is good.
48 without a pause for a nap or anything. And then I started to fall asleep without realizing I was falling asleep. I only noticed because I would almost fall out of my chair, which would wake me up. So, I decided to go to bed. :p
96 hours 4 days straight with many help from nicotine and caffein almost 90 hours in front of laptop, surely makes my eyes red then knocked out for 18 hours sleep =______=;
25 hours. Evidently, that’s amateur level. =/
3 days about 72
32! A school day and night, then the NEXT school day!
about 24 hours
about three days worth when I got to Kuwait. I just couldn’t sleep for some reason the first few days.
3 days…outdoor raves in the summer time are the best !
in the service, a mechanical casualty in the engine room … repairs began on a Sunday afternoon and ended on a Tuesday morning, which was followed by a steam leak unrelated to the repair, but which needed urgent attention anyway. After all the associated repairs were made it was Thursday, just a little bit before midnight. I learned that after a while all the energy comes from adrenalin, the brain gets kinda gummy, and it takes a while to unwind enough to fall asleep. After this (mis)adventure I slept for nearly 30 straight.
43.5
28.
But the thing was, I wasn’t doing anything at all. Just sitting at the computer doing nothing.
48 hours
68 hrs.:/
I think it was around 37 hours.
I think i was six hours away from three days. I was behind on lab reports. I did get a B+ for the class though. But that procrastination was idiotic of me.
