A study was conducted by a woman to see if women were in fact inferior at parking when compared to men.

The study indicated that men are 5% more competent at parallel parking.  They are also better at “head-on” parking and parking in reverse.  In fact, women even took on average 20 extra seconds to park and still didn’t park as well as men do.  Here is the link:  Link

According to the article, feminist writer Germaine Greer blamed it partially on the boobs.  She said, “You must remember that women also have bosoms which makes it very difficult to turn around”

Do boobs make it more difficult for women to park?

What was the best gift you received for Christmas?

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas.  I realize this is a tough time of year for those who are alone and depressed.  I realize other people have lost that special someone this year.  So to cheer everyone up, I have placed a video of the Pope being pushed down during Christmas Eve Mass.

If you are feeling down during the holiday, just watch the video over and over again until that smile comes back to your face.

Now I went this morning and took my oldest son to play basketball.  I then took him to buy the book “The Power of Positive Thinking.”   I began reading it with him to help him with his self-esteem during these critical teenage years.  I took my other son to watch a movie.  I then took my daughter to get ice cream. 

I took a short nap with my wife.  I then took my family to my in-law’s house where we ate and then opened up some presents.  I then went with the whole family to a Christmas Eve service and then went back to my in-law’s house.  

I signed into my xanga site and noticed someone had left me a message telling me I should get off xanga and spend time with my family.

If you went to the movies, which movie would you see?

In my last post, I mentioned that a young lady had a “hook up list.”  Her brother posted that hook up list on his facebook site.

I noticed that some people called her a slut.  I started to look at the list and there were 10 guys on the list.  She didn’t even intend to have sex with all of the guys.  She had different goals with the guys.  A few she just intended to perform oral sex on them.  The girl was in high school.

Does it make a woman a slut to have sexual goals?

A kid was grounded for 3 months because his sister told his parents about beer he had in his room.

So the guy did what any kid would do in his shoes.  He found a paper list his sister made of guys she hooked up with and what she did with each boy and posted it on Facebook.

I had my first cavity filled when I was in my late 20s or maybe right at 30.

I remember getting the gas at the dentist for the first time like it was yesterday.  I loved the sense of losing all feeling.  I remembered thinking at the time, “It is a good thing I didn’t know about this feeling when I was a teenager or I would have never ‘Just said no.’”

It only cost $50 to get the high at the dentist.  That is a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Dogs are doing more damage to the environment than your SUV.   A study was conducted that indicated that the carbon print of a pet dog is more than twice as great as the carbon print of a SUV.  Here is the link:  Link

What would you rather give up, our SUVs or our dogs?

Many of you know that I am deaf in one ear.  I lost my hearing in one ear in a plane flight about 5 years ago.  At the time there was no fix for my problem.  A hearing aid wouldn’t work for me because I am totally deaf.  A cochlea implant would not work because my hearing loss is in the nerve in my ear.

Not long ago, a way to fix my problem was invented.  It required them to drill a hole in my skull to insert a titanium post that would allow the vibrations to be heard from the other ear.

I didn’t like that option because the “box” outside my head would be the size of a quarter and would be obvious.

In addition, I was feeling a little funny about them drilling a hole in my skull.

There may be a new breakthrough that allows the same hearing by attaching a device to your teeth.  Apparently it has been working for other people with the same deafness in one ear and would not require drilling a hole in my head.  Here is the link: Link

It doesn’t sound like a big deal to some but it would allow me to hear out of my deaf ear.
