I must admit that I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt if they have encountered difficulty in life. Take this Asian in a wheelchair:
If he used that laptop and started a xanga site, I would probably tend to give him the benefit of the doubt if he sometimes stepped out of line. I don’t believe in allowing someone to stay in a victim mentality. But I would imagine his life would be hard in the wheelchair and so he may encounter problems that he has learned to deal with differently than I would.
I know people will tend to say the politically correct thing and say they would give no special treatment but I think it is only natural to take into account the struggles of others when dealing with them.
Would you tend to be nicer to this Asian just because he is in a wheelchair?
